Purpose - There is a recent social trend that is focused on the revitalization of business-founding. Business-founding now has an important impact on the progress of the national economy because of youth unemployment and an increase in baby-boom generation retirees. However, the support and infrastructure required for business-founding of the disabled are very insufficient. Since most supporting policies are on youth or middle-aged business-founding, business-founding by the disabled and the socially weak is losing competitiveness. Accordingly, this study diagnosed the issues by analyzing the current status of business-founding by the disabled and suggested a fostering direction for the advance of business-founding by the disabled. An idea for the founding of various business items is required for the competitiveness of business-founding by the disabled and the establishment of a growth-model based on marketing is required so that business-founding by the disabled would advance toward commercialization with growth potential. Research design, data, and methodology - Regarding the study method, the existing study literature on the status and issues in business-founding was mainly explored. In addition, the existing literature on the status and issues in business-founding by the disabled was also studied. The support on business-founding by the disabled by policy enforced by the 'Welfare Service Agency for the Disabled'and the support of related agencies including financial support on the commercialization of business-founding by the disabled were also examined. Results - Existing studies on business-founding by the disabled are very insufficient. It is very difficult to study a viable business-founding by the disabled fostering policy without thorough learning on the difficulties of business-founding by the disabled. Therefore, this study suggested a direction for the resolution of various issues such as market, funds, item, operational matters, and service by analyzing the difficulties in business-founding by the disabled until now. Particularly, this study suggested that building a commercialization model from the aspect of marketing strategy and the effort to change the growth aspect of the disabled into competitiveness are essential. Conclusions - This study examined the aspect of developing an item-development process for the growth and founding of disabled-owned businesses and the requirement of a government support system by multiple policies. Since the number of studies on business-founding by the disabled is very small, it is expected that this study would become an important study in the field of business-founding by the disabled. The revitalization of business-founding by the disabled substantially contributes to the progress of the state of the economy and continuous interest is required from the viewpoint of equal advance in the society. Success models in business-founding by the disabled should be created continuously and active publicizing of them to the disabled business-founders by analyzing the success cases would also be required. In addition, it is believed that a market entry strategy by way of a win-win strategy and cooperative relation with big companies should be also developed in the future.
This thesis aims to study the founding process and operation of the prefectural archives of Japan and to put that knowledge to the founding regional archives in Korea. Now 28 among 47 Prefectural Governments in Japan have founded and operated the prefectural archives. While Kyoto Prefectural Library and Archives, Nagano Prefectural Museum of History, Gifu Prefectural Virtual Museum of History, The Archives of Hyogo Prefectural Government, Ibaraki Prefectural Museum of History and Hukushima Prefectural Archives are on the type of Prefectural Museum of History, the rest of them are on the type of Archives. The Prefectural Museum of History in Japan has a complex function as the museum, the library, and the archives. But the Prefectural Museum of History seems to be a sort of transient phenomenon to Archives. The reason which Prefectural Museum of History can not develop into the Archives is not so much owing to financial difficulties as lack of understanding on the function of Archives. The thesis shows founding process of each prefectural archives. Especially, the case study on the Kanagawa Prefectural Archives, Okinawa Prefectural Archives was arranged by the detailed data investigation. Comparing with other prefectures, these three prefectural archives have a system in the collection and arrangement process of current official records, paleography and many other materials, and construct records management system with institutionalizing accession, arrangement, and opening of official records by regulations, rules and so forth. But because of historical background and character in each region, the difference may exist in the founding process of three prefectural archives. Before central archival institution, National Archives of Japan, is founded, the prefectural archives have been founded at each region and they have gained relatively independent status so that decentralism in the system of managing records could be possible. And the private historical organizations had many influences on the founding process of National Archives of Japan. Of course the Japanese Archives system may have many differences from Korean regional archives. While Japan established Archives institute for itself with localism, Korea has not settled the system of self-government still. Moreover, financial difficulties on founding regional archives and lack of understanding of the Archives remained in Korea. And yet with regard to the founding regional archives in Korea, the case of operation and founding process of prefectural archives of Japan may be of great value.

This study illustrates the process of the development of founding collection in public libraries. Specifically, this study surveys such cases of ten public libraries recently opened. It also analyzes current laws and standards about library collection and compares the criteria with the ones in various manuals and reports. For the study, supplementary data were also collected through qualitative interviews and brain-storming discussions with public librarians and other regional government officials who were in charge of the library construction project. For the suggestion to improve the quality of such founding collection, the researcher put the emphasis on the construction of collection development policy for the library, on the official collection plan, on the adequate volume of founding collection, and on the strategies for collection programs about regional studies.
This study was conducted on a servicism basis as a study to build the management wisdom of Korea as an asset of human society. The case of the founding and development of the Republic of Korea, which developed into one of the world's leading powers with unprecedented rapid growth despite the devastating three-year war immediately after its founding, is an important subject of study. This study conducted a macroscopic analysis. In the process of carrying out the founding activities, it was confirmed that the original idea inherent in Koreans was the Taegeuk idea of the National Flag. The founders of the Republic of Korea consciously or unconsciously adopted the Taegeuk ideology as the founding ideology. It can be said that the Taegeuk ideology has led to greater success because it is based on the service philosophy, which is the common truth of mankind. In this study, the process of preparing for the founding of the Republic of Korea, which was founded by accepting a new maritime civilization from a country with a long continental civilization, the process of national foundation, and the process of operating the country after its founding were analyzed as a whole. In particular, it discovered the excellent wisdom of the founders who appropriately utilized the strengths of continental and maritime civilizations in necessary situations, and confirmed that the dynamic operating model of development through fierce competition between the two opponents was a success factor for high-speed national development. It requires great wisdom for Koreans with diverse ideological backgrounds and unique personalities to unite to establish and run a nation. This is because fierce competition and cooperation must be carried out at the same time. The great wisdom of the founding of the Republic of Korea was able to be demonstrated because the Taegeuk ideology was acting as a common basic ideology for Koreans. Taegeuk ideology, the source of wisdom that Korea has developed under constant tension, can be capitalized as human wisdom, and additional case studies are needed.
This study showed that a sales executive officer, a founder of foodservice, and marketing methods and activities influence the duration of business and business performance. The hypotheses of the study are as follows. First, a foodservice business will influence marketing management. Second, marketing management will influence business performance. Third, founding a foodservice business influences business performance. Fourth, marketing management will influence the duration of business. Fifth, business performance will influence the duration of business. As a result, all the hypotheses are adopted. Consequently, business methods such as marketing activities and costs should be continually studied to improve management, and founders and managers should invest in marketing management in various ways.
Using sociohistorical approaches, the paper shows that before the 15th century, myths of Hùng Kings, considered to be the descendants of the Dragon race and ancestors of the Vietnamese people, may have existed locally. Vietnamese rulers and people strongly supported the integration of these myths into indigenous culture to form a new belief: the worship of Hùng Kings. By way of discovering the transformation process from the founding myths to the modern national beliefs of the Vietnamese, this paper attempts to demonstrate that both myths and worship of Hùng Kings were politically created and encouraged. The article also focuses on the reasons why these myths and worship reached a broad public as these were integrated into Vietnamese culture.
Geugyesuryeonguhoe founded the Silheommudae and chose Nikolai Vasilevich Gogol's Revizor as the founding performance. As a result, Revizor performance of Silheommudae did not escape the powerful influence of Revizor theater performance performed at Tsukiji(築地) theater in Japan. In addition, the original design of stage, acting and acting concept of Silheommudae was not confirmed. After this performance, the change of the performance method of Geugyesuryeonguhoe was inevitable. And Geugyesuryeonguhoe was forced to carry out its own reflection on the problems in the stage process.
This study aims to compare the state building process focusing on the founding presidents of South Korea, which was a colony of the defeated state of World War II and the Philippines, the colony of the victorious state. To this end, it compares the lives of the presidents, mainly the founding president of Korea Syngman Rhee and Manuel Quezon who led the autonomy of the Philippines and established the Commonwealth government, in the contexts of the state building process of the two countries. In each country, the leaders had to address the core tasks for founding the states in common. Firstly, after the independence or the acquisition of state autonomy, both countries adopted a constitution based on the presidential system with the strong authority of the presidents influenced by the United States. Secondly, the two countries after the independence were operated on the basis of anti-communism at the forefront of the Cold War. In addition, they also carried out land reform to bring the peasants into the system for supporting anti-communism. Lastly, the two countries also faced the same issues of liquidating the Japanese colonial legacies. Therefore the study examines the establishment of the constitution, settlement of anti-communism line, the land reform issues, and liquidation of Japanese colonialism or occupation in each country. The Philippines attained 'constitutional independence' in 1935 and experienced political development faster than any other post-colonial country in Asia. However, except for the establishment of the constitution, the early leaders were not able to address the principal issues for state building. As land reform failed, landowners became economically and politically dominant. The Philippines, where the modern citizen class has not arisen suffered from the political and economic recession. In Korea, despite the Korean War and division of the country, the founding president Syngman Rhee attempted to solve the tasks. As a result, he was able to lay the track of liberal democracy against communism and also settled Japanese colonial legacy as much as it was allowed. In particular, through land reform, he has laid the basis for the nation-state and economic development and has set up the girders of Korean economy by adopting the market economy system. Although there are merits and demerits, compared with the leaders of other countries especially with the Philippines, it is no doubt that Syngman Rhee has played an essential role in establishing the state as a founding president.
Four requirements for the operating and supporting system for sustainable landscape management will be discussed through this paper. The requirements are based on multiple case studies on the structure and the process of development of three organizations that have been contributing to the sustainable rural landscape management in Japan since 1989. The first requirement is that the residents should recognize regional problems and voluntarily organize a group which can properly deal with the problems. Secondly, members of the organization should have a solid grasp of the goal of their activities (or founding principal of the organization) and share it among themselves. Founding principal should include the history of natural circulation system in the area, cultural features and a future plan in association with human resources. Thirdly, the administration of the organization should be separated from the founder, the residents. The administration, such as business promotion, becomes more effective when consigned to a separate entity, not to the residents. Lastly, the interaction among separate entities is crucial to promote diverse activities for the local landscape management. The administrators and experts need to cooperate to draw a precise conclusion regarding the way of interaction. These requirements drawn from the Japanese case studies should be localized to the Korean circumstances for further adoption.

This paper analyzes the major comparisons and contrasts in entrepreneurship among technology-based university alumni over multiple decades from Tsinghua University in China and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the United States. In doing so, we ask two related research questions: (1) Who enters entrepreneurship and with what types of ideas and founding teams? (2) How do the innovation and other firm performance outcomes compare? We find that the sources of venture ideas and the composition of founding teams differ as well as the initial capital levels and revenues. This research provides a step toward a better understanding of high-tech entrepreneurship in developing vs. developed institutional environments. Furthermore, while MIT and Tsinghua University are unique in the programs they offer and in their historical cultures of entrepreneurship, both Tsinghua University and MIT provide benchmarks by which other institutions can gauge their alumni entrepreneurs and the types of ventures that they create.
