  • 마리오네트는 끝단에 연결된 줄을 이용하여 사용자가 제어 할 수 있는 인형이다. 본 연구는 마리오네트 원리를 적용하여 인간의 동작을 통해 로봇을 직접 제어할 수 있는 방법을 제안한다. 이를 위해 인간 손과 로봇 손의 사이에 가상의 줄(Virtual Elastic strip)이 연결되어 있는 모델을 사용한다. 실시간으로 측정되는 인간의 동작에 따라 가상 줄의 길이가 변하게 되고 가상 힘이 발생된다. 이 가상 힘을 고려하여 로봇 팔의 정동역학(Forward dynamics) 해를 구한 후, 제어를 위한 로봇의 각 관절값을 얻게 된다. 제안한 방법을 이용하여 인간 동작을 실시간으로 가상 로봇의 동작으로 변환하고 제어하는 실험을 수행하였다.

  • A constraint equation-based control law design for large angle attitude maneuvers of flexible spacecraft is addressed in this paper The tip displacement of the flexible spacecraft model is prescribed in the form of a constraint equation. The controller design is attempted in the way that the constraint equation is satisfied throughout the maneuver. The constraint equation leads to a two-point boundary value problem which needs backward and forward solution techniques to satisfy terminal constraints. An observer-based tracking control law takes the constraint equation as the input to the dynamic observer. The observer state is used in conjunction with the state feedback control law to have the actual system follow the observer dynamics. The observer-based tracking control law eventually turns into a stabilized system with inherent nature of robustness and disturbance rejection in LQR type control laws.

  • We developed a Off-Line Graphic Simulator which can simulate a robot model in 3D graphics space in Windows 95 version. 4 axes SCARA robot was adopted as an objective model. Forward kinematics, inverse kinematics and robot dynamics modeling were included in the developed program. The interface between users and the off-line program system in the Windows 95' graphic user interface i\environment was also studied. The developing language is Microsoft Visual C++. Graphic libraries, OpenGL, y Silicon Graphics, Inc. were utilized for 3D graphics.

  • In this paper, we have developed a Widows 98 version Off-Line Programming System which can simulate a Robot model in 3D Graphics space. The SCARA robot with four joints (FARA SM5)was adopted as an objective model. Forward kinematics, inverse kinematics and robot dynamics modeling were included in the developed program. The interface between users and the OLP system in the Widows 98's GUI environment was also studied. The developing language is Microsoft Visual C++. Graphic 1ibraries, OpenGL, by silicon Graphics, Inc. were utilized for 3D Graphics.

  • An arc welding machine using single switched PFC converter is presented in this paper. First, the basic operation and principle is reviewed. Controller design is intended to force voltage ripple to minimize, and dynamic response to enhance, Feed-forward strategy for arc welding machine is developed, and that is verified by simulation. The improved power factor characteristics of arc welding machine known as low power factor system with nonlinear property, are shown and evaluated compared to conventional one.

  • The objective of this research is to monitor and control the vehicle motion in order to remove out the existing safety risk based upon the human-machine cooperative vehicle control. A predictive control method is proposed to control the steering wheel of the vehicle to keep the lane. Desired angle of the steering wheel to control the vehicle motion could be calculated based upon vehicle dynamics, current and estimated pose of the vehicle every sample steps. The vehicle pose and the road curvature were calculated by geometrically fusing sensor data from camera image, tachometer and steering wheel encoder though the Perception Net, where not only the state variables, but also the corresponding uncertainties were propagated in forward and backward direction in such a way to satisfy the given constraint condition, maintain consistency, reduce the uncertainties, and guarantee robustness. A series of experiments was conducted to evaluate the control performance, in which a car Like robot was utilized to quit unwanted safety problem. As the results, the robot was keeping very well a given lane with arbitrary shape at moderate speed.

  • We propose a new technique to design an unmaned integrating control system based-on Windows XP version off-Line Programming System which can simulate a dynamic model of robot manipulator in three dimensions graphics space in this paper. The robot with 4 and 6 axes modeled SM5 and AM1 respectively were adopted as an objective model. Robust posture stabilization of two-wheeled mobile robots (두바퀴 구동형 이동로봇의 강인 자세 안정화)

  • This paper proposes a robust posture stabilization control method for wheeled mobile robots. To solve the robust posture stabilization, we introduce reference generation mode, reference tracking mode, and reference regulation mode. In reference generation mode, a kinematic time-invariant controller is used to generate the reference trajectory which starts from the initial posture of the actual robot to the desired posture. In reference tracking mode, a sliding mode position controller is employed in such a way that the actual robot can follow the reference trajectory in the desired forward or backward moving direction, even in the presence of the disturbances in the dynamics. In reference regulation mode, a sliding mode heading direction controller is used such that the actual robot can maintain the desired posture against the disturbances. In this way, robust posture stabilization can be achieved at almost all global regions.
