Automation systems improve the productivity of works which relate to product design, facilities management, fault processing and quality evaluation. In these systems, the description language for monitoring and control process is called new control language. These are five flow control languages : IL, ST, FBD, SFC and LD. IL and ST are based on left form. FBD, SFC and LD are based on graphic form. Generally, a software which monitors and controls a system is allowed to use just one flow control language. It is impossible to use more than two languages for simulation in the same system environment. In this paper, we analyzed the characteristics of flow control languages and the process of programming in the legacy system. In addition, for the Integrated processing of languages, we propose Extended ST based on the high-level ST language. Based on this research, we implement a graphical language editor and EST-IL convertor. The graphical language editor makes sequence rules, and converts graphical language into EST. EST-IL convertor has a function to convert EST into IL which is similar to assembly language. As the result of this paper, we present a scheme which integrates all the flow control language processing based on IL.

Modular construction is a construction method whereby prefabricated volumetric units are produced in a factory and are installed on site to form a building block. The construction productivity can be substantially improved by the manufacturing and assembly of standardized modular units. 3D printing is a computer-controlled fabrication method first adopted in the manufacturing industry and was utilized for the automated construction of small-scale houses in recent years. Implementing 3D printing in the fabrication of modular units brings huge benefits to modular construction, including increased customization, lower material waste, and reduced labor work. Such implementation also benefits the large-scale and wider adoption of 3D printing in engineering practice. However, a critical issue for 3D printed modules is the loading capacity, particularly in response to horizontal forces like wind load, which requires a deeper understanding of the building structure behavior and the design of load-bearing modules. Therefore, this paper presents the state-of-the-art literature concerning recent achievement in 3D printing for buildings, followed by discussion on the opportunities and challenges for examining 3D printing in modular construction. Promising 3D printing techniques are critically reviewed and discussed with regard to their advantages and limitations in construction. The appropriate structural form needs to be determined at the design stage, taking into consideration the overall building structural behavior, site environmental conditions (e.g., wind), and load-carrying capacity of the 3D printed modules. Detailed finite element modelling of the entire modular buildings needs to be conducted to verify the structural performance, considering the code-stipulated lateral drift, strength criteria, and other design requirements. Moreover, integration of building information modelling (BIM) method is beneficial for generating the material and geometric details of the 3D printed modules, which can then be utilized for the fabrication.
In order to obtain a better understanding of L2 learners, transitional knowledges, it is very important and necessary to have a better knowledge of interlanguage. According to Corder, the role of interlanguage in English education holds significance to (1) for language teachers, (2) for language learners themselves, and (3) for language textbook compilers. To me the significance of interlanguage in English education can be described in terms of not only language teachers, learners themselves, textbook writers and compilers but pure linguists, applied linguists, school authorities as well as parents. For language learners themselves a clear understanding of interlanguage results in students being receptive to language input, and the avoidance of mental block, and low levels of foreign language anxiety. Native speakers of English (NSE) reflect not only linguistic features but also psychological, socio-linguistic, and discourse features when engaged in communication activities. This means that L2 learners are introduced to these different features, especially pragmatic features which are different from their mother tongue or L1 when engaged in communication with NSE. Hence the importance of interlanguage pragmatics should be recognized. It is very important that teachers of English should have a better understanding of interlanguage and present L2 learners with their interlanguage features so they can avoid any misunderstandings such features may cause when conversing with NSS. It should also be noted that interlanguage can form the foundation of language acquisition theory and linguistic analysis.

In this paper we propose an adaptive fast image restoration filter, which is suitable for reducing the blocking artifacts in the compressed image in real-time. The proposed restoration filter is based on the observation that quantization operation in a series of coding process is a nonlinear and many-to-one mapping operator. And then we propose an approximated version of constrained optimization technique as a restoration process for removing the nonlinear and space varying degradation operator. We also propose a novel block classification method for adaptively choosing the direction of a highpass filter, which serves as a constraint in the optimization process. The proposed classification method adopts the bias-corrected maximized likelihood, which is used to determine the number of regions in the image for the unsupervised segmentation. The proposed restoration filter can be realized either in the discrete Fourier transform domain or in the spatial domain in the form of a truncated finite impulse response (FIR) filter structure for real-time processing. In order to demonstrate the validity of the proposed restoration filter experimental results will be shown.

It is very important to understand the flow characteristics for design of the hull forms with better resistance and propulsive performance. The experimental results explicating the local flow characteristics are also invaluable for validation of the CFD codes for both inviscid and viscous flow calculations. This paper describes the techniques and equipment developed for the measurement of wave pattern on the free surface and local mean velocity fields around the stern of the modern container ship with bow and stern bulbs in KRISO towing tank. The results contained in this paper can provide the valuable information on the flow characteristics of the modern commercial hull form of small block coefficient with high speed.
According to the unified model of AGNs, type 1 and 2 AGNs are intrinsically the same objects but seem different due to an obscuring matter which can block lights from the central engine of the AGN depending on the viewing angle. The obscuring object is thought to be shaped in a toroidal form and thus the geometry of tori of AGNs is an important factor to determine the fraction of type 1 (or type 2) AGNs. Oh et al. (2015) provides a new catalog of type 1 AGNs from SDSS DR7 in the nearby universe (z < 0.2) and it contains nearly 50% more type 1 AGNs than previously known. Using this new catalog, we test the fraction of type 1 AGNs along the black hole mass (MBH) and the bolometric luminosity of AGNs (Lbol), which are regarded as key parameters of the AGNs. First of all, because the methods to derive the black hole mass and the bolometric luminosity bear uncertainties, we test how the different methods lead to different values of type 1 fraction. We found that the fraction of type 1 AGNs varies with both MBH and Lbol. The extensively-studied, "receding torus model" can only explain the trend along Lbol and hence fails to explain the trend. To understand the new trend, we test the geometry of the torus based on the "clumpy torus model". We present our results on the basic properties of the torus such as a column density or opening angle and compare with those from previous studies based on other wavelengths (e.g. Infrared or X-ray).
If root and resection is done during surgical endodontic treatment, newly exposed dentinal tubules form pathways between the canal and the peripheral tissue. Nd : YAG laser was used to block this phenomenon, and its effect was studied with dye penetration and SEM techniques. 40 intact single rooted teeth were divided into 4 groups(10 each) : control group and test groups, in which retrograde cavity surface, cutting surface, retrograde cavity surface & cutting surface were treated with laser(1 watt 15pps) and finally retrograde filling with IRM was conducted. After that, they were stained with 2 % methylene blue, sectioned and evaluated by the maximum infiltration depth. And to observe surface change, they were prepared for SEM. The results were as follows ; 1. All experimental groups showed microleakage with variation in amount. 2. The 2nd group which treated both the retrograde cavity and cutting surface showed significantly less microleakage than the other groups(p<0.05). There was no significant difference between groups treated on one side only. 3. As a result of SEM observation of dentin surface, obstruction of dentinal tubules with marble shaped granules, which were different from normal dentin could be seen. Cracks could be seen also. 4. In summary of this experiment, it is thought that effort to obstruct the exposed dentinal tubules as well as retrograde cavity after root end resection is needed.

Molecular dynamics (MD) simulation was performed to study the stress induced grain boundary migration caused by the interaction of dislocations with a gain boundary. The simulation was carried out in a Ni block (295020 atoms) with a ∑ = 5 (210) grain boundary and an embedded atom potential for Ni was used for the MD calculation. Stress was provided by indenting a diamond indenter and the interaction between Ni surface and diamond indenter was assumed to have a fully repulsive force to emulate a faction free surface. Results showed that the indentation nucleated perfect dislocations and the dislocations produced stacking faults in the form of a parallelepiped tube. The parallelepiped tube consisted of two pairs of parallel dislocations with Shockley partials and was produced successively during the penetration of the indenter. The dislocations propagated along the parallelepiped slip planes and fully merged onto the ∑ = 5 (210) grain boundary without emitting a dislocation on the other grain. The interaction of the dislocations with the grain boundary induced the migration of the grain boundary plane in the direction normal to the boundary plane and the migration continued as long as the dislocations merged onto the grain boundary plane. The detailed mechanism of the conservative motion of atoms at the gram boundary was associated with the geometric feature of the ∑ = 5 (210) grain boundary.

Structural optimization is one of the most important topics in structural engineering and has a wide range of applicability. Therefore, the main objective of the present study is to apply the Lagrange Multiplier Method (LMM) for minimum cost design of singly and doubly reinforced rectangular concrete beams. Concrete and steel material costs are used as objective cost function to be minimized in this study, and ultimate flexural strength of the beam is considered to be as the main constraint. The ultimate limit state method with partial material strength factors and equivalent concrete stress block is used to derive general relations for flexural strength of RC beam and empirical coefficients are taken from topic 9 of the Iranian National Building Regulation (INBR9). Optimum designs are obtained by using the LMM and are presented in closed form solutions. Graphical representation of solutions are presented and it is shown that proposed design curves can be used for minimum cost design of the beams without prior knowledge of optimization and without the need for iterative trials. The applicability of the proposed relations and curves are demonstrated through two real life examples of SRB and DRB design situations and it is shown that the minimum cost design is actually reached using proposed method.
