  • Injection molding machine is the assembly of many kinds of mechanical and fluid power part and electro-electronic control system. From in these, fluid power is a part where becomes the first core of this machine. Fluid power systems of injection molding machine are modelled and analyzed using a commercial program AMESim. The analysis model which is detailed about the parts applied a publishing catalog data. Sub system models which is divided according to functional operation are made and its analysis results shows how design parameters work on operational characteristics like displacement, pressure, flow rates at each node and so on. Total fluid power circuit model is also made and analyzed. The results made by analysis will be used design of fluid power circuit of injection molding machine.

  • This paper presents a fully three-dimensional numerical approach for analyzing deepwater drilling riser-conductor system vortex-induced vibrations (VIV) including nonlinear soil-structure interactions (SSI). The drilling riser-conductor system is modeled as a tensioned beam with linearly distributed tension and is solved by a fully implicit discretization scheme. The fluid field around the riser-conductor system is obtained by Finite-Analytic Navier-Stokes (FANS) code, which numerically solves the unsteady Navier-Stokes equations. The SSI is considered by modeling the lateral soil resistance force according to nonlinear p-y curves. Overset grid method is adopted to mesh the fluid domain. A partitioned fluid-structure interaction (FSI) method is achieved by communication between the fluid solver and riser motion solver. A riser-conductor system VIV simulation without SSI is firstly presented and served as a benchmark case for the subsequent simulations. Two SSI models based on a nonlinear p-y curve are then applied to the VIV simulations. Also, the effects of two key soil properties on the VIV simulations of riser-conductor systems are studied.

  • The PMGS(Plant Model Generating System) was developed based on modular modeling method and fluid network calculation concept. Fluid network calculation is used as a method of real-time computation of fluid network, and the module which has a topology with node and branch is defined to take advantages of modular modeling. Also, the database which have a shared memory as an instance is designed to manage simulation data in real-time. The applicability of the PMGS was examined implementing the HRSG(Heat Recovery Steam Generator) control logic on DCS.

  • This paper describes the effect of dynamic characteristics in tube line by external vibration conveying fluid with the power steering system. By the experimental analysis we found out that the factor of system vibration is the fluid-structure interaction of tube line. In fluid-filled tube system we study on the influence that the natural frequency of system and the frequency of wave motion produce upon through experiment. Experiments are modal test, frequency response function in continuous system, and vibrating tests when the system is driving with bolted clamping joint condition. From the results of the experimental studies, we obtained that the natural frequencies of system are very important than the wave induced vibrations. And we found that the tendency of system vibration level was decreased by bolting force, bolting condition and clamping distance.

  • This paper studies the effect of vibrational characteristics of the various tubes analyzed though experiment. By an experiment analysis we found out that the factor of system vibration is fluid-structure interaction of tube line. In fluid-filled tube system we study on the influence that the natural frequency of system and the frequency of wave motion produce upon through three experiments. Three experiments are modal test on each tube, FRF in continuous system, and vibrating tests when the system is driving on. From the results of the experimental studies, we obtained that the natural frequencies of system are very important than wave induced vibrations. and according to the variation of configuration, the frequencies are different each other. And we found that though fluid passed away through the tube, the tendency of system vibration level was similar with the mode shape at the simple system.

  • Supercritical fluid dyeing is a new alternative to the conventional aqueous process because of its environmental benefits. In this study, dyeing properties of Nylon 6 fabrics were investigated depending on dyeing temperature and pressure in supercritical CO2 fluid dyeing system. In order to select the optimal condition for supercritical fluid dyeing of Nylon 6 fabrics, dyeing temperature and pressure were varied from 100, 110, 120℃, 200, 230, 260bar, respectively. The results of K/S values and levelling properties showed that the optimal dyeing condition for Nylon 6 fabrics was 110℃ and 230bar in the supercritical CO2 fluid dyeing system. The washing fastness ratings of the dyed Nylon 6 fabrics under supercritical medium were good for both fading and staining except for staining on nylon.

  • In this paper, the temperature characteristics of mold transformer for the distribution power system have been analyzed by using computational fluid dynamics(CFD). The model has been modeled by coil, cores, insulating materials and frames about 3MVA grade mold transformer and analyzed the temperature distribution of the structure with a heat fluid. The fluid, which is incompressible ideal gas, is analyzed as a turbulent flow phenomenon on the assumption that it is natural cooling of transformer cooling system. Through this study, by examining the temperature distribution and hot-spot of the structure field of the mold transformer, cooling design and temperature distribution information, which are demanded for designing are estimated.

  • The dynamic instability and natural frequency of an axially moving pipe conveying fluid are investigated. Thus, the effects of fluid velocity and moving speed on the stability of the system are studied. The governing equation of motion of the moving pipe conveying fluid is derived from the extended Hamilton's principle. The eigenvalues are investigated for the pipe system via the Galerkin method under the simple support boundary. Numerical examples show the effects of the fluid velocity and moving speed on the stability of system. Moreover, the lowest critical moving speeds for the simply supported ends have been presented.
