  • The Hanok church is an important cultural heritage that can be considered from a religious point of view of life in the modern age in Korea. We will investigate the bounadaries of the Hanok church built in modern age and the characteristics of Hanok architectural. To do so, we have conducted field trips, interviews, and repair reports of the Gimje Geumsan Church in the Jeollabuk province. The Geumsan Church is present, and the architectural characteristics can be confirmed in detail. In addition, Yugwang School, which was responsible for the education function, was able to guess the location and size through the data. As a result, the boundaries of Geumsan Church is the present fence, the west side has the building, and the east side has the playground. The Geumsan Church's flat form was divided into male and female according to the space configuration of ㄱ-shaped reflecting Confucian thought of the time. And it seems that the Yugwang school was located in the entrance part of the modern church with a two-frame scale, which is suitable for lecture.

  • An off-surface flow visualization experiments have been performed to investigate the flow field over a delta wing with the leading edge extension(LEX). The model is a flat wing with $65^{\circ}$ sweepback angle. The free stream velocity is 6.2 m/s, which corresponds to Reynolds number of $4.4\times10^5$ based on the wing root chord. The angle of attack and sideslip angle range from $16^{\circ}\sim28^{\circ}$ and $0^{\circ}\sim-15^{\circ}$, respectively. The visualization technique of using the micro water-droplet and the laser beam sheet enabled to observe the vortical flow structures, which can not be obtained by 5-hole probe measurements. With sideslip angle, the interaction and breakdown of the LEX and wing vortices was promoted in the windward side, whereas, it was suppressed in the leeward side.

  • The laminar boundary layer along a streamwise corner formed by two flat plates intersecting at right angle is measured by using Particle Image Velocimetry(PIV) technique. The free stream velocity ranges from 2.96m/s to 3.0m/s. The angle of incidence of the corner is set to 1.2 degree providing slightly favourable pressure gradient to ensure a laminar flow in the corner region. A round shape leading edge is used and the length of the model is about 1000mm. In the bisector plane, the measurement data show separation type velocity profiles having an inflection point which is a typical characteristic of laminar corner boundary layers. As the distance away from the bisector plane increases, velocity profiles are found to change into the Blasius profile. The change completes around half length of the boundary layer thickness in the bisector plane away from the bisector plane along the plate. In the bisector plane, the growth characteristic of the boundary layer thickness and the approximate similarity of velocity profiles are confirmed from the measurement data.

  • The next generation cellular radio systems require high data rate transmission and large system capacity In order to meet these requirements, multiple antennas can be used at the base and mobile stations, forming MIMO(multiple-input, multiple-output) channels This paper considers a downlink MIMO system assuming a large number of base station antennas, a small number of mobile station antennas, and rich-scattering, quasi-stationary, and flat-fading channel environments When the channel state information is given at the base station in a single user system, a MIMO technique with SVD(singular value decomposition) and water-filling can achieve the maximal downlink channel capacity. In multi-user environments, however, SDMA(space division multiple acces) technique can be used to further increase the total channel capacity supported by the base station This paper proposes a MIMO SDMA technique which can transmit parallel data streams to each of multiple users. The proposed method. can achieve higher total channel capacity than SVD-based MIMO techniques or conventional SDMA using smart antennas.

  • Huang di's Four Classics introduces the first full-scale Yin-Yang theory. The ancient idea of Yin-Yang could be classified systematically throughout Huang di's Four Classics and make itself the cause of creation, movement, and variation. The Tao of essence and Reason-Law(理法) is a single 'One'(一) and completes the reality of Tao adopting Yin-Yang as an elementary. The elementary of Yin-Yang has rules and laws and then the Tao manifest itself through Yin-Yang. The features of Yin-Yang theory in Huang di's Four Classics are placed on the explanation of the structure of the universe embodied as class and system. The class and system are the structured worlds in the space based on the upper and lower sides Yin-Yang idea(上下陰陽觀). It means the system by Yin-Yang theory, corresponding to the flat structure of the Sky and the Earth mentioned in Gaitian theory, one of the ancient theory of the universe structure. By adopting Huang di's Four Classics' Tian-zhi Yin-Yang theory(天地陰陽論) and developing the class system in human bodies, The Hwangjenegyeng appreciates human bodies as a whole. In addition, by applying Four seasons Yin-Yang theory not only to human bodies but also to the space of Liu-he(六合) and the time of Four Seasons(四時), it developed Yin-Yang theory of Huang di's Four Classics more abundantly and embodied Yin-Yang theory in many fields including physiology, pathology, diagnostics, and prescriptions.

  • In this paper, the aerodynamic forces of a Korean Traditional Bangpae Kite with the wind hole and spanwise curved dihedral were measured by wind tunnel test. For the flat plate kite without the wind hole, the stall presents at ${\alpha}=35^{\circ}$ with $C_{Lmax}$=1.2. The Korean Traditional Bangpae Kite with the wind hole had $C_{Lmax}$=1.05 at ${\alpha}=30^{\circ}$ without the apparent stall phenomena. As the wind hole size growing, the lift and drag of kite were changed slowly after stalling angle of attack. As increasing the leading edge dihedral angle, lift curves were more increased than drag curves. As the growing of wind hole size, the effect of dihedral angle was constant affect to the lift and drag of kite.

  • The vortical flow of a 65-deg flat plate delta wing with a leading edge extension(LEX) was examined through off-surface visualization, 5-hole probe and hot-film measurements. The off-surface flow visualization technique used micro water droplets generated by a home-style ultrasonic humidifier and a laser beam sheet. The angles of attack ranged from 10 to 30 degrees, and the sideslip angles ranged from 0 to -15 degrees. The Reynolds number was $1.82{\times}10^5$ for the flow visualization, and $1.76{\times}10^6$ for the 5-hole probe and hot-film measurements. The comparison of the visualization photos and the flow field measurement showed that the two results were in a good agreement for the relative position and the structure of the wing and LEX vortices, even though the flow Reynolds numbers of the two results were much different. The wing vortex and the LEX vortex coil each other while maintaining a comparable strength and identity at zero sideslip. Neither a looping of the wing vortex around the strake vortex, nor the lopsided coiling of the stronger strake and the weaker wing vortices was observed. At non-zero sideslip, the downward movement of the LEX vortex when going downstream was enhanced on the windward side, and the downward and inboard movement of the LEX vortex when going downstream was suppressed on the leeward side. The counterclockwise coiling of the wing and LEX vortices was decreased significantly on the leeward side.

  • This paper presents numerical results comparing the performance of the 2008 Wilcox $\mathcal{k}-{\omega}$ turbulence model to the one of the 1988 Wilcox $\mathcal{k}-{\omega}$ model for supersonic flows. A comparison with experimental data is offered for a shock wave/turbulent boundary layer interaction case and two ramp injector mixing cases. Furthermore, a comparison is performed with empirical correlations on the basis of skin friction for flow over a flat plate and shear layer growth for a free shear layer. It is found that the maximum injectant mass fraction of some ramp injector cases is better predicted using the 1988 Wilcox model. On the other hand, the 2008 model performs better in simulating shock-boundary layer cases.

  • An experimental investigation for impingement of under-expanded, axisymmetric jets on a flat plate has been conducted, and the surface pressure, the adiabatic wall temperature distributions on the plate have been measured in detail. For the explanation on the wall temperature distributions, the total temperature distributions along a free jet have also been measured with total temperature probes. In this study, the under-expansion ratio and the nozzle-to-plate distance have been considered as experimental parameters. Depending on nozzle-to-plate distances, different distributions of adiabatic wall temperature are shown by the energy separation at a jet edge and a impinged surface. Also, the recovery factor on a stagnation point decreases significantly due to the isolation of fluid particles in a central region.

  • In present study, a two dimensional unsteady Navier-Stokes solver has been developed using the Diagonalized ADI (DADI) method and implicit dual time stepping method. The jacobian matrices in steady state Navier-Stokes equations are introduced from inviscid flux terms. The implicit treatment of artificial dissipation terms results in a block penta-diagonal matrix system and it becomes a scalar penta-diagonal matrix by diagonalization. In steady state equations about fictitious time, a new residual including a real time derivative term is introduced. From a converged solution about fictitious time, a real time unsteady solution can be obtained, which is called 'implicit dual time stepping method'. For code validation, an oscillating flat plate, a regular Karman vortices past a circular cylinder and shock buffeting around a bicircular airfoil problems are numerically solved. And they are compared with a theoretical solution, experiments and other researcher's computations.
