HPLC를 이용한 어류 중의 Oxolinic Acid 분석 (Analysis of Oxolinic Acid in Fish Products Using HPLC)

  • A high-performance liquid chromatography assay method for oxolinic acid in fish products was developed, evaluated and validated through the monitoring of oxolinic acid based on farming and distribution. The recovery rate of the developed method was $102.3-106.7\%$ as compared to conventional methods. The stock solution was stable for 3 weeks under refrigerated condition at $4^{\circ}C$ The performance limit was evaluated as 0.01ppm of oxolinic acid in fish muscle. 478 fish samples such as olive flounder, genuine porgy, common sea bass and black rock fish collected from fish farms in the coastal area from September 2001 to October 2004 were analyzed to evaluate overall efficiency of the modified method and to monitor the actual condition of oxolinic acid usage in fish farm. According to the monitoring results, the modified method was suitable for analysis of oxolinic acid in fish muscle and oxolinic acid might be used in a small portion of fish farms. The suggested analysis method of oxolinic acid was registered in the Korean Official Methods of Food Analysis and is being utilized for fishery products by the Korea Food and Drug Adminstration and the National Fisheries Products Quality Inspection Service.

북한산 수산물 반입제약요인 및 확대전략 (Expanding the Imports of North Korean Fishery Products)

  • South Korea imports more than one hundred tons of fishery products every year from China, Japan, North Korea, etc. However, imported North Korean fishery products was only 4% of the total fishery products imported in 2007. Though South-North Trade as inter-Korean trade is exempted from tax, imports of North Korean fishery products have not been activated owing to import restrictions, insufficient quality control etc. Expanding imports of North Korean fishery products seems, however, to contribute to lessen the supply and demand unbalance in fishery products of South Korea. It will especially gratify a part of fresh and cold fishery products demand. Therefore, we need to expand the imports of North Korean fishery products by quality control improvement, reformation of origin certifying system, import liberalization etc. This study researches the demand and supply of fishery products of South and North Korea, the actual conditions of imports of North Korean fishery products, and suggests strategies to expand their imports. As the greatest reason to oppose imports of North Korean fishery products is the pricing pressure of domestically produced fishery products due to imports of North Korean fishery products, we need to research and analyze the distribution channels, retail markets, sales prices of imported North Korean fishery products to verify that imports of North Korean fishery products has not caused lower pricing of domestically produced fishery products.

  • 본 논문에서는 수산업을 주산업으로 하고 있는 통영지역의 정보활성화에 대하여 연구하였다. 그리고 정보의 효용가치를 극대화시키기 위한 방안으로 해양정보망, 수산정보망, 수산유통정보망 등 세 가지의 네트워크 모델을 제시하였다. 해양정보망에서는 해양환경 및 해양생물의 정보화에 대해서, 수산정보망에서는 어업 및 양식업의 정보화에 대해서, 수산유통정보망에서는 양식 및 일반 어류유통의 정보화에 대한 방안을 제시하였다. 각 정보망에서 수집된 자료는 실시간으로 처리하여 최종 사용자가 항상 최신의 자료를 사용할 수 있도록 Web 기반에서의 서비스를 구현하였다.

한말의 수산금융에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Fisheries Financing of the Late Yi Dynasty)

  • Though modern banking organs were established in Korea with the Kanghwa Treaty as a momentum, the benefit of financing at that time, which was mainly given to merchants and industrialists and traders, was extremely limited to the fishermen. The fishermen who were out of favor with the benefit of financing of modern banking organs were forced to rely on high interest loans, a category of usury capital, issued by the middlemen (the Kaekju) who lent them the deficit of their necessary funds. The fact was that in the field of fisheries the middlemen who issued usury capital played the leading part in fisheries financing of the Late Yi Dynasty. The middlemen, however, sqeezed a part or all of surplus products and on occasion even necessary products out of the fishermen by means of outward compulsion of economy. Moreover they put the fishermen further in trouble by putting-out system. In order to keep on with the production of aquatic products, the fishermen with little capital and no property established the antinomic rotations with the middlemen whose disadvantageous terms they were inevitably to accept. Thus the middlemen who did business with the fishermen exercised their authority over them, securing a strong activity foundation in the field of fisheries. But the traditional form of the Kaekiu was transformed and gradually declined in the field of fisheries according as the market rules were proclaimed in 1914.

Validation of Korean Meat Products and Processed Cheese for the Detection of GMO using p35S and tNOS Primers

  • In this study, 543 samples of press hams, sausages, processed ground meat and processed cheese acquired from retail markets in Seoul and Gyeonggi province in Korea from 2005 to 2010 were monitored using a one-step multiplex polymerase chain reaction (PCR) method that involves the amplification of specific soya or maize endogenous genes and the amplification of 35S promoter (p35S) and nopaline synthase terminator (tNOS) for GMO detection. Among the 543 samples, 477 samples were amplified for maize and/or soybean endogenous genes. Although one sausage sample collected in 2008 showed amplification of tNOS, the result was assumed to be false positive based on the results from further tests of other sausage samples of the same brand. Our results demonstrate the absence of GM soya and/or maze of livestock products in the Korean market during 2005-2010. In addition, the one-step multiplex PCR using previously constructed primer sets appears to be useful as a screening method for the detection of GMOs in processed livestock products. However, more specific methods should be established and employed to detect the event-specific GM gene for positive reaction samples by screening tests in processed livestock products.

방사능 관련 안전정보의 수산물 소비 영향에 관한 연구 (A study on the consumption of fishery products in relation with radioactivity-related safety information)

  • This study aims to look at the change in consumer awareness and behavior after Japan's 2013 nuclear power plant's radioactive water leakage and draw implications about them. Findings show that 81% of respondents decreased their consumption of fishery products after the nuclear incident, and kept on showing avoidance of imported fishery products including those from Japan. Also it showed that consumers more importantly considered safety when buying imported fishery products after the nuclear incident. The most common channel of receiving radioactivity safety information on fishery products were TV and online. However, the main reason for decreasing the consumption of fishery products was founded to be based on the inaccuracy of the information provided. However, many people said that they will increase their consumption of all fishery products if provided with accurate radioactivity information. Therefore, if accurate radioactivity information were to be spread effectively to the public, positive consumption rates of fishery products can be shown in the future. The inaccuracy of radioactivity safety information caused the rapid decrease of fishery products consumption in 2013 to be amplified. Therefore, this study showed the importance of the delivery of rapid, accurate and consistent information to consumers.

수산물도매시장의 한·일 비교를 통한 거래제도 개선방향 연구 (A Study on the Improvement Direction of Trading System by Comparing Fishery Products Wholesale Markets between Korea and Japan)

  • In this study, the differences of institutional development processes of fishery products wholesale markets were compared between Korea and Japan in order to suggest improvement direction of trading system in Korea. The wholesale markets have shrunk while wholesale and distribution has been becoming larger in size in both countries. A summary of differences in the wholesale market trading systems between Korea and Japan is as follows: first, middle wholesalers play pivotal roles in wholesale transaction in Korea, and wholesale corporations take such roles in Japan. Second, most wholesale corporations take charge of listing in Korea whereas such corporations are in charge of buying in Japan. Third, Korea has high proportion of auction for transactions, in contrast to Japan with high proportion of relative transactions. Forth, Korea maintains more sales within the wholesale markers and has more small and medium customers than Japan. Finally, Korea investigates inside causes to find solutions for the decreased competitive power of the wholesale market, whereas Japan copes with the problem by searching for outside customers. To seek solutions for the decreased competitiveness of Korean fishery products wholesale markets, middle wholesalers' consignment should be limitedly allowed, and improvement direction of wholesale corporations should be investigated in the future study.

세계 관상어산업의 경쟁력 분석을 통한 우리나라 관상어산업의 육성 방향 (Fostering direction of the Ornamental Fish Industry in Korea through a competitive analysis of International Ornamental Fish Industry)

  • This research examined a task to foster into the export industry, through analyzing the competitiveness of the ornamental fish industry and identifying the position of Korea's ornamental industry in the world. Ornamental fish in Korea holds the world's leading aquaculture technology, but products are limited to a few species, lacking competitive products. In the case of aquarium supplies, the Korean technology level is receiving relatively positive marks in the global market, but ornamental fish products are lagging behind the global trend. In other words, Korea's ornamental fish industry has the overall technical foundation, but lacks differentiation in the global market. Meanwhile, Korea's market share of world trade market in fishery products is minimal. Growth was also analyzed not high compared to other countries. Various trade competitiveness index results rated very low in competitiveness, but it is hard to compare Korea with other countries which have already built a strong foundation in the ornamental fish industry. Therefore, for the mid to long term Korea should adapt a "Choice and concentration" strategy and focus on the production of ornamental fish and aquarium supplies, which will enable Korea to become differentiated in the global market and capture the world exports.

학교급식 수산물의 바이오제닉아민 안전성 평가 (Safety Assessment of Biogenic Amines in School-Meal Fishery Products)

  • 본 연구는 2019년 국내에서 유통되는 수산물 198건(학교급식 수산물 121건, 유통 77건)에 대하여 히스타민 등 8종의 바이오제닉아민(BAs) 함량을 분석하였다. 또한, 삼치, 고등어, 연어에 대하여 시간, 온도와 염 처리에 따른 BAs 함량 변화를 관찰하였다. 수산물의 평균 히스타민 함량은 0.4±2.3 mg/kg이었으며, 모두 히스타민 기준 200 mg/kg이내 이었다. MOE를 산출하여 위해성을 평가한 결과, MOE가 1 이상으로 학교급식 수산물은 안전한 것으로 평가되었다. 시간과 온도에 따른 생선의 BAs 함량 변화는 시간과 온도가 증가함에 따라 증가하는 경향을 나타내었으며, 히스타민 함량이 30℃에서 144 mg/kg(삼치, 36시간)과 308 mg/kg(고등어, 24시간)로 급격히 증가하였다. 또한, 삼치, 고등어와 연어를 4℃와 -20℃에 보관한 결과, 4℃에서는 3일까지, -20℃에서는 14일까지 모두 히스타민이 검출되지 않았다. 생선의 염 처리에 따른 BAs 함량 변화는 염을 처리한 삼치와 고등어에서 염을 처리하지 않은 삼치와 고등어보다 히스타민 등 BAs 함량이 낮게 나타났다.

한.중.일 수산물부문에 있어 한국의 경쟁력 수준과 수출전략품목 분석에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Competitive Position and Strategic Exportable Goods of Korea Focused on Korea-China-Japan Fisheries Products Class)

  • This study examines the relative competitive position of korean fisheries products market over period of 2001 to 2005 and selects strategic exported goods from its position provide against concluding FTA agreement with China and Japan. The portfolio approach is used to develope competitiveness-market share matrix. The position of each export countries on the competitiveness market share matrix will be in one of nine cells, with differing implications for their role in korean fisheries products market. Based the competitiveness market share matrix, each export countries are divided into first cell type, third cell type and ninth cell type and the items of ninth cell type are chosen as strategic exportable goods. The results of this study are summarized as follows: First, in the case of each country change aspect, China is trending to decrease quantity but shows number of item that increase gradually with high share still, and look trend that increase third cell type item too gradually, and in case of first cell type item is that competitive position is high more relatively than the Korea. In the case of Japan, ninth cell type item is falling gradually, and share does not show big change generally in case of first cell type item. Second, in the case of strategic exportable goods that analyze using domestic competitive position cell type and MCA with competitive position in domestic fisheries products market and export market, was appear by codfish(frozen), cuttle fish(frozen) etc. in case with China, and by mackerel(frozen), other sea bream(frozen), laver(dry), bathing(dry) etc. in case with Japan. And analyzed goods that have all export competitive advantages in both countries are roes of alaska pollack(frozen), other roes of fish(except frozen roes of alaska pollack), squid(frozen) etc.
