임상시험을 위한 Case Report Form의 설계 (Department of Statistics, Chonnam National University)

  • In clinical trials, it is important to have well designed case report forms (CRF) in order to obtain good quality of data. If CRF design at the first stage of your study goes wrong, after all efforts have been made, you may find practical difficulties in data analysis at the final stage of your study because of incomplete or wrong information. In this paper, the following rules fundamental to CRF design are introduced: rules in general, rules of format or style, categorized responses, forms with multiple records per subject, and international studies. Investigators are well aware of research goals, however sometimes they do not know how to express it on CRF. If they understand the rules fundamental to CRF design, time for CRF development will be saved and CRF completeness will be enhanced.

  • This is the final report on the nomenclature of pyroxenes by the Subcommittee on Pyroxenes established by the Commission on New Minerals and Mineral Names of the International Mineralogical Association. The recommendations of the Subcommittee as put forward in this report have been formally accepted by the Commission. Accepted and widely used names have been chemically defined, by combining new and conventional methods, to agree as far as possible with the consensus of present use. Twenty names are formally accepted, among which thirteen are used to represent the end members of definite chemical compositions. In common binary solid-solution series, species names are given to the two end members by the "50% rule." Adjectival modifiers for pyroxene mineral names are defined to indicate unusual amounts of chemical constituents. This report includes a list of 105 previously used pyroxene names that have been formally discarded by the Commission.

  • The paper is final report for speed control upgrade and analysis report which recently performed on PWR NPP safety related EDG KHNP Ulchin NPP No.2 Unit. The upgraded system includes more beneficial function like as 'Slow start with starting ramp', 'Generator load sensing & control capability' and 'Emergency ramp during slow start'. This paper shows functional operation of slow start regime according to NRC regulatory guide which guide regulation to NPP safety related environment.

Pseudomyogenic Hemangioendothelioma Involving the Esophagus: A Case Report

  • Herein, we describe the case of a 20-year-old woman who presented with dysphagia of 2 months' duration associated with vomiting, moderate abdominal pain, decreased oral intake, and significant weight loss. During the past 3 years, the patient experienced intermittent mild abdominal pain with infrequent vomiting. Endoscopy at Jordan University Hospital showed a mass in the esophagus, and endoscopic biopsies were performed. The preliminary histopathological report excluded malignancy. Two days after endoscopy, the patient presented to the emergency department complaining of severely worsening pain and total dysphagia. The pain persisted despite intravenous paracetamol administration, which was concerning for esophageal perforation; therefore, an urgent surgical intervention was performed. The mass was removed surgically, along with a para-esophageal lymph node. The final histopathological results of the endoscopic and resected specimens supported the diagnosis of pseudomyogenic hemangioendothelioma (PMHE). This is the first case reporting esophageal involvement of PMHE.

  • General Administrative Procedures of the Preshipment Inspection 1. Initial notification Preshipment Inspection is initiated by Agency when it receives notice either from the importing country, or the seller, that an export needs to be imspected 1.1 Notice from the importing country 1.2 Notice from the seller 2. Preliminary price verification After receipt of initial notification, Agency undertakes, Where possible, a preliminary price verification, based upon the Inspection Order and other contractual documents received. 3. Customs classification When required by the Government of the importing country. Agency forms an opinion of the Customs Classification Code based upon the Customs Tariff Book and Rules of Classification of the country of importation. The Customs Classification Code determines the tariff rate on the basis of which the importer will be required to pay import duties. 4. Import eligibility 5. Arrangements for physical inspection 5.1 Inspection request from seller 5.2 Place of inspection 5.3 Date of inspection 5.4 Physical inspection procedures 6. Physical inspection results When the physical inspection is completed, the inspector submits his report to the Agency office and the result of inspection will be communicated to the seller and, where applicable, the place of inspection. The result will state: satisfactory or conditional of unsatisfactory. The seller is welcome to present his views in writting to Agency in the event there is any query regarding the issuance of a conditional of unsatisfactory inspection result. 6.1 Satisfactory 6.2 Conditional 6.3 Unsatisfactory 7. Shipment of the goods The seller is advised to check with Agency prior to shipment if the physical inspection result has not been received or there are any doubts concerning whether a Clean Report of Findings will be issued. 8. Final price verification and classification Based on the results of physical inspection and appropriate final documents, Agency finalises the price verification and the Agency opinion of Customs classification code. When the preliminary price verification has not resulted in any unresolved questions and the inspection result and other documents received are consistent with the preliminary documentation, Agency will not normally require any additional information. The main exception would be if the terms of sale require reference to prices at the date of shipment. 9. 발치 후 지르코니아 보철물 제작에서 최적의 연조직 적합 형성을 위한 디지털 치료 증례 (Digital approach for fabrication of zirconia restoration with optimal gingival adaptation after tooth extraction: A case report)

  • 발치 후 고정성 지르코니아 보철물을 제작하는 경우 통상적으로 임시레진 보철물을 수작업으로 제작하고 보철단계에서 인상채득하여 최종 보철물을 제작한다. 이러한 전통적인 방식은 임시보철물과 최종 보철물 사이의 연계가 부족하고 결과의 심미적 기능적 예측성이 낮을 수 있다. 현재 CAD/CAM 방식의 보철물 제작과 관련 디지털 기술이 발전하여 진료에서 다양하게 활용되고 있다. 본 증례에서 발치 후 고정성 단일구조 지르코니아 보철물을 계획하는 경우 CAD/CAM 방식 임시보철물, 발치와 치유 후의 구내스캔, 컴퓨터 영상중첩술을 이용하여 최적의 가공치 적합도를 가지며 치료의 결과 예측도가 향상된 디지털 방식을 소개하고자 한다.

  • 원발성 심장종양은 희귀성 때문에 병리학자, 심장내과의, 심장외과의에게 흥미로운 질환이다. 저자들은 수술치험한 세계적으로 희귀한 원발성 심장 연골육종을 보고하는 바이다. 환자는 37세의 여자환자로 본원에서 좌심방종양진단하에 1993년 6월 3일 입원하여 개심술하에서 완전 종양절제를 받은 바 있다. 그러나 조직소견상 연골육종이 진단되어 수술후 보조요법으로 방사선조사와 화학요법을 받은후 추적관찰하던 중 1995년 5월까지 종양 재발소견은 없었다. 그러나 환자는 두통과 전신성 경련으로 본원 신경외과에 입원하여 검사상 대뇌 전두엽부위에 단일 전이성 종괴가 발견되어 개두술하 종양절제가 가능하였으며, 조직 검사상 심장종양과 일치를 보였다. 환자는 건강한 상태로 퇴원하였다.

Sustainability Report Publication and Bank Share Price: Evidence from Saudi Arabia Stock Markets

  • We examine the effects of the sustainability report (SURE) and investment decision on share price (SPRC). Explore whether the sustainability report changes the value-relevance of financial accounting variables indirectly. It is evident that the number of banks is only 12, which are all banks in Saudi Arabia, and we have included all of them in the final sample. Moreover, the same number of banks applied for the analysis concerning the accounting variables. This article utilizes a panel dataset from a sample of Saudis registered banks from the first quarter of 2014 to the last quarter of 2018. We utilize a balanced sample that contains all banks listed in Tadawul, 240 observations. Run GLM regression to tests the relationships. Findings exhibit that investors value the complementary disclosure of accounting information provided in SURE, and this disclosure produces a positive effect on SPRC. The SURE figure is robustly significant, suggesting that the market assigns a positive-significant correlation to the further information in the SURE. The indirect effects show that BPS×SURE is a positive-significant effect on SPRC, whereas EPS×SURE is positively-insignificant. The analysis shows that SURE's value relevance conforms through Saudis Banks, consistent with the hypothesis that diverse institutional perspectives probably influence the value-relevance of SURE.

최적조건 선정을 위한 Pad 특성과 Wafer Final Polishing의 가공표면에 관한 연구 (The Study on the Wafer Surface and Pad Characteristic for Optimal Condition in Wafer Final Polishing)

  • Polishing is one of the important methods in manufacturing of Si wafers and in thinning of completed device wafers. This study will report the characteristic of wafer according to processing time, machining speed and pressure which have major influence on the abrasion of Si wafer polishing. It is possible to evaluation of wafer abrasion by load cell and infrared temperature sensor. The characteristic of wafer surface according to processing condition is selected to use a result data that measure a pressure, machining speed, and the processing time. This result is appeared by the characteristic of wafer surface in machining condition. Through that, the study cans evaluation a wafer characteristic in variable machining condition. It is important to obtain optimal condition. Thus the optimum condition selection of ultra precision Si wafer polishing using load cell and infrared temperature sensor. To evaluate each machining factor, use a data through each sensor. That evaluation of abrasion according to variety condition is selected to use a result data that measure a pressure, machining speed, and the processing time. And optimum condition is selected by this result.

  • This report examines the issue of designing an efficient production system by increasing several types of flexibility. Increasing manufacturing flexibility is a key strategy for efficiently improving market responsiveness in the face of uncertain market demand for final products. The manufacturing system comprises multiple plants, of which individual plants have multiple manufacturing lines that are designed to produce limited types of products in accordance with their size and materials. Imbalance in the workload occurs among plants as well as among manufacturing lines because of fluctuations in market demand for final products. Thereby, idleness of some manufacturing lines and longer lead times in some manufacturing lines occur as a result of the high workload. We clarify how these types of flexibility affect manufacturing performance by improving only one type of flexibility or by improving multiple types of flexibility simultaneously. The average lead time and the imbalance in workload are adopted as measures of manufacturing performance. Three types of manufacturing flexibility are interrelated: machine flexibility, routing flexibility, and process flexibility. Machine flexibility refers to the various types of operations that a machine can perform without requiring the prohibitive effort of switching from one order to another. Routing flexibility is the capability of processing a given set of part types using more than one line (alternative line) in the plant. Process flexibility results from being able to build different types of final products at the same plant.
