다중노즐에 의해 분사된 평면 및 확장면의 단상액체냉각에 관한 연구 (A study of single-phase liquid cooling by multiple nozzle impingement on the smooth and extended surfaces)

  • Experiments were performed to characterize single-phase heat transfer behavior of submerged liquid jet with multiple nozzle normally impinging on the smooth and extended surfaces. Arrays of 9 and 36 nozzles were used, with diameters of 0.5 to 2.0mm providing nozzle area ratio (AR) from 0.05 to 0.2. The square pin fin arrays were chosen as extended surfaces and the effects of geometrical parameters such as fin height, the ratio of fin width to channel width on heat transfer enhancement were examined. Single nozzle characteristics were also evaluated for comparison. The results clearly showed that heat transfer enhancement could be realized by using multiple nozzles at the constant volume flow rate. The average Nusselt number of multiple nozzle impingement on the smooth surface was correlated by the following equation : Nu/$Pr\frac{1}{3}=0.94 Re^{0.56}N^{-0.12}AR^{0.50}$The average heat transfer coefficients of multiple nozzle impingement on the extended surfaces decreased with increasing fin height and the ratio of fin width to channel width. The effectiveness of ex-tended surfaces ranged from 1.5 to 3.5 depending on the fin height, the ratio of fin width to channel width of pin fin arrays, nozzle number and nozzle area ratio.

장력 감김으로 부착된 가로방향 휜-미니채널의 공기측 열전달 특성 (Air Side Heat Transfer Charactieristics of Tension Wound Transverse Fin with Minichannel)

  • Pipes, tubes. and tubular sections with external transverse high fins have been used extensively for heating cooling, and degumidifying air and other gases. This work was performed to investigate an air side heat transfer charactieristics of minichannel with tension wound transverse fin. This estimate was confirmed conversion heat capacity the air side surface area enlargement and heat transfer charactieristics performed available inlet tube side hot water mass flux or outlet tube side air frontal air velocity. The most suitable tension wound transverse finned minichannel was measured extremely low in air side pressure drop and fin effectiveness $3.3\~4.4$. The pressure drop $0.9\~2.8Pa$ was ranged frontal air velocity $0.5\~1.2m/s$. It is also appeared that heat transfer in air side could be better conversion heat area which has been increased $330\%$ of heat capacity compared with the bare tube.

오프셋 스트립 휜을 가지는 리큐퍼레이터의 내부 형상 최적화 (Optimization for the Internal Structure of a Recuperator with Offset Strip Fins)

  • In the present study, a recuperator is suggested to improve the thermal efficiency of a micro gas turbine. Primary design parameters of the recuperator are determined from the ideal cycle analysis. The counter flow plate-fin heat exchanger with offset strip fins is chosen as the type of the recuperator. In order to satisfy the design constraints which are the minimum effectiveness and the maximum pressure drop, the optimization for the internal structure of the recuperator is performed with varying the fin spacing and the fin height of offset strip fins. Also the effects of the thermal conductivity of fins and separation plates and the longitudinal heat conduction on the thermal performance of the recuperator are investigated.

원형휜에서 열전달 특성분석 (Heat transfer on annular fins with one-dimensional radiative and convective heat exchange)

  • 본 연구에서는 많은 실질적인 시스템에서, 많은 양의 복합된 전도, 대류, 복 사의 열전달 현상이 동시에 일어나기 때문에 복합된 열전달 모드가 다같이 다루어져야 만 한다. Fig.1에서 보는 바와 같이 얇은 원형휜이 튜브 주위에 무수히 부착되어 있 으며, 휜과 튜브주위를 기체가 흐르고 있다. 휜과 휜, 휜과 튜브표면, 휜과 주위환 경, 튜브표면과 주위환경 사이에서 복사 열전달 상호교환이 충분히 다루어졌다. 전 도, 대류, 복사기 동시에 일어나는 열전달 방정식은 비선형 적분-미분 방정식(nonlin- ear integro-differential equation)으로 표현된다. 온도 분포도(temperature dist- ributions), 열전달량(heat transfer rates), 휜효율(fin efficiencies), 휜유효성(f- ineffectivenesses)등이 계산되어졌고, 무차원 형태로 도표에 결과들을 제시하였다.

Predictive Control for a Fin Stabilizer

  • A predictive controller can solve a control problem related to a disturbance-dominant system such as roll stabilization of a ship in waves. In this paper, a predictive controller is developed for a fin stabilizer. Future wave-induced moment is modeled simply using two typical regular wave components for which six parameters are identified by the recursive Fourier transform and the least squares method using the past time series of the roll motion. After predicting the future wave-induced moment, optimal control theory is applied to discover the most effective command fin angle that will stabilize the roll motion. In the results, wave prediction performance is investigated, and the effectiveness of the predictive controller is compared to a conventional PD controller.

Hardware-In-the-Loop Simulation for Development of Fin Stabilizer

  • A ship cruising in the ocean oscillates continuously due to wave action. In order to reduce the ship's roll, we developed a fin stabilizer as an anti-rolling device for a 500-ton-class high-speed marine vessel. During the development phase, it was necessary to set up control gains for the motion and hydraulic systems and assess the effectiveness of the anti-rolling performance on the ground. For this reason, a Target Simulator, which simulated the ship's motion, was given operator inputs such as the engine telegraph and waterjet deflection angle, and generated roll using a one-degree-of-freedom motion base. Hardware-In-the-Loop Simulation (HILS) was performed using the Target Simulator in order to confirm the various logics of the developed fin stabilizer, select initial control gains, and estimate the anti-rolling performance. In conclusion, it was confirmed that HILS was very helpful to develop the fin stabilizer because it could reduce the number of sea trial tests that were needed and could find many malfunctions in the factory a priori.

감성 분석을 위한 FinBERT 미세 조정: 데이터 세트와 하이퍼파라미터의 효과성 탐구 (FinBERT Fine-Tuning for Sentiment Analysis: Exploring the Effectiveness of Datasets and Hyperparameters)

  • 본 논문에서는 금융 뉴스 데이터로 추가적인 사전 학습이 진행된 BERT 기반 모델인 FinBERT 모델을 사용하여 금융 영역에서 감성 분석 시 학습시킬 데이터와 그에 맞는 하이퍼파라미터를 찾는 방법을 소개한다. 우리의 목표는 다양한 데이터 세트를 활용하고 하이퍼파라미터를 미세 조정하여 정확한 감성 분석을 위해 FinBERT 모델을 가장 잘 활용하는 방법에 대한 포괄적인 가이드를 제공하는 것이다. 이 연구에서는 제안된 FinBERT 모델 미세 조정 접근법의 아키텍처와 워크플로우를 개괄적으로 설명하고, 감성 분석 태스크를 위한 다양한 데이터 세트와 하이퍼파라미터의 성능을 강조한다. 또한, 감성 라벨링 작업에 GPT-3를 사용함으로써 GPT-3가 적절한 라벨러 역할을 하는지에 대한 신뢰성을 검증한다. 결과적으로 미세 조정된 FinBERT 모델이 다양한 데이터 세트에서 우수한 성능을 발휘 한다는 것을 보여주었고, 각 데이터 세트에 대해 전반적으로 우수한 성능을 보이는 학습률 5e-5와 배치 크기 64의 최적의 조합을 찾았다. 또 일반 도메인의 뉴스보다 일반 도메인의 트위터 데이터 세트에서 성능이 크게 향상됨을 기반으로 금융 뉴스 데이터만으로만 추가적으로 학습시키는 FinBERT 모델에 대한 의구심을 제시한다. 이를 통해 FinBERT 모델에 대한 최적의 접근 방식을 결정하는 복잡한 프로세스를 간소화하고 금융 분야 감성 분석 모델을 위한 추가적인 학습 데이터 세트와 미세 조정 시 하이퍼파라미터 선정에 대한 가이드라인을 제시한다.

Fin Assembly에서의 2차원 열전달 해석 (The two-dimensional heat transfer analysis in a fin assembly)

  • The conventional heat transfer analysis methods based on the one-dimensional theory are not adequate to be applied for the purpose of finned surface design because the two-dimensional effects in fact are induced within the supporting wall by the presence of the finnes. In this study, the two-dimensional heat transfer of a straight fin assembly is analyzed by using the integral method. It is shown that all the effects of the system parameters i.e., the heat transfer parameters and geometrical parameters, on both the total heat transfer rate and the surface temperature effectiveness can be seen from the present analysis. The optimum combinations of these parameters for the design of finned surfaces may be estimated.

확장형 감소차수 관측기를 이용한 전기식 조종날개 구동장치의 슬라이딩 모드 제어 (A sliding mode control of an electro-mechanical fin actuation system using extended reducer-observer(ERO))

  • The objective of this paper is to design a sliding mode controller of an electro-mechanical fin actuation system using extended reducer-observer(ERO) which is used in order to estimate the velocity. The employed observer enables proper estimation of the plant state variables, even in the case of the constant or slow varying load torque disturbances. The effectiveness of this control scheme is verified by comparison with a PID control through a series of simulation studies. The simulation results show that the sliding mode control designed with the ERO gives good control performances.
