  • The purpose of this study was to analyze domestic research trends in film costumes and to suggest future research directions. 122 articles published in 17 KCI journals from 1996 to Oct. 2013 were classified by year, journal, research method, film genre, country of film-making, analyzed subject, and contents of research. Film costume-related research was initiated in 1996 and the largest number of articles were reported in 2005~2009. Many of these researches were reported in Journal of the Korean Society Costume. Most film costume-related researches were qualitative based on co-analysis of literature and film. Film analysis was done on melodrama genre and was done Korean or American film. Large portion of the research was on costume analysis. Film costume-related research was mostly focused on character's plasticity and symbolism.

  • This study was carried out to get efficient of nutrient removal effects on the treatment of paper making wastewater using submerged biological film process. The concentration of average BOD at raw wastewater was $324mg/{\ell}$ and COD was $435mg/{\ell}$. The average BOD of effluent was maintained $24.2mg/{\ell}$ and average COD was $37mg/{\ell}$. The concentration of average T-N at raw wastewater was $16.5mg/{\ell}$ and T-P was $1.2mg/{\ell}$. The average T-P of effluent was maintained $2.3mg/{\ell}$ and average T-P was $0.08mg/{\ell}$. The concentration of average SS at influent wastewater was $263mg/{\ell}$. The average SS of effluent was maintained $28.2mg/{\ell}$. The result of this experiment was wastage sludge did generated and the removal efficiency of nutrients were kept equilibrium.

  • We have successfully commercialized a novel optical compensation film, OCB-WV film, for OCB-LCD-TVs which has fast response time and wide viewing angle. The OCB-WV film consists of a 45degree-aligned discotic layer and a high Rth biaxial TAC film, which is suited for a roll-to-roll polarizer manufacturing process. This OCB-WV has brought out the excellent features that OCB intrinsically has, making nextgeneration fast-response LCD-TVs possible and free from image blurring in conjunction with an impulsive driving scheme.

  • A bonding process between tape-carrier package and a glass panel with anisotropic conductive film (ACF) has been investigated by making use of high power diode laser as a heat source for cure. The results from modeling of process and from optical properties of layers showed that heat absorbed from polyimide film surface and ACF layer is dominant source of curing during laser illumination. Laser ACF bonding has better bonding quality than conventional bonding in view of peel strength, flatness, pressure unbalance and processing time. New ACF bonding processes by making use of high power diode laser are proposed.

  • In this paper, effects of elastic energy of magnetostrictive film on the deflection of a cantilevered film-substrate system are investigated. The total energy including the elastic energy of magnetostrictive film is formulated. And it is minimized to give the curvatures and the position of neutral axis of the cantilevered system. To discuss the effects of the elastic energy of film in a measured system, three magnetostrictive unimorph cantilevers and a bimorph cantilever reported elsewhere are reviewed. It is shown that the assumption, since the thickness of film is much smaller than that of substrate the film elastic energy is negligible, can cause considerable error in evaluating magnetostrictive coefficients. Not the ratio of thicknesses but elastic energies between film and substrate is also shown to play important role in making decision whether the assumption is valid or not.

  • Dir. Go, Yeongnam has made 110 film works during 40 years from the last of 1960's to the first of 2000's. He has the record for the most making films in Korean film world. His first film is melodrama (1964). But he makes literary picture genre film after (1977). He has made various genre film such as 47 melo films, 6 literary pictures, 3 comedy films, 22 action films, 21 anti-communism films, 1 war films, 8 detective films, 2 costume plays. This research discussed on Go, Yeongnam's activity in Korean film world and introduced his all films from the last of 1960's to the first of 2000's. In conclusion I arranged the essay of Go, Yeongnam's film world through analyzing the story of his all films.

  • While critical properties of BSCCO wires rely considerably on grid direction upon BSCCO and have very complicated mechanism of generating a superconducting phase, making it difficult to improve properties of wires, YBCO thin-film wires which can be formed in a superconducting phase upon metal board through vapor deposition processing can get excellent direction and reduce manufacturing costs with more flexibility in improving critical properties; thus, they will be suitable for instrument application in the future. Contrary to BSCCO wires for which thick silver alloy covering materials should inevitably be used, moreover, YBCO thin-film wires have an advantage of making thickness and quality of covering materials different by usage. Such a property can be an important element to widen application of wires by presenting possibility of using thin-film wires as superconducting material for fault current limiter as well as for high power current application. In this study we intend to prepare YBCO thin-film wires with different stabilizer layers to analyze current application and current restriction properties by stabilizer layers on the basis of detailed researches on changes in current classification properties below critical value.

  • Low-e glazing is classified as soft low-e glazing and hard low-e glazing. Hard low-e glazing can be temperable and its handling is comfortable because its coating film is a oxide film generated at high temperatures. But there is a fatal weakness that its insulation performance and shielding performance are lower compared to soft low-e glazing by low electrical conductivity of coating film. Soft low-e glazing is excellent because its coating film consists of Ag that is excellent electrical conductivity and it has strength that can supply various product consumers want. But soft low-e glazing has weaknesses that temperable and handling are difficult because Ag is oxidized easily. Therefore this study analyzes thermal performance of glazing by changing filling gas according to applying low-e glazing through simulation to judge performance before making sample. After this process, a comparative experimental study was done through TVS by making temperable low-e glazing.

  • This study is intended to analyze the effect of thin ink-film thickness around rotating printing roll on the printing quality in the gravure printing process which is used for making electronics circuit like a RFID tag with a conductive ink. The present work numerically estimates the film thickness around rotating roller partially immersed in ink, for which the volume of fluid (VOF) method was adopted to figure out the film formation process around rotating roller. Parameter studies were performed to compare the effect of ink viscosity, surface tension, roller rotating speed, immersed angle on the film thickness. The result indicates that the film thickness has a strong dependency on the fluid viscosity, while the surface tension has negligible effect.
