연동신호제어계에서의 교통류의 지연 -Random 지연을 중심으로- (Stochastic Delay at Linked Signals)

  • With respect to stochastic delays at linked signals the solid quantitative information has not been available as yet. On the basis of field data the values of "I" (variance-mean ration of flow) were related with the rate of flow. The stochastic delays with specific "I" values were obtained from the distribution of overflow queue, which were calculated by the use of Markov chains. This examination of the results led to the derivation of a simple method for calculating stochastic dclays through the introduction of "I" into Miller's model. The good agreement was shown between the model and the field. The relationships between the cycle lengths and delays were examinated in a large number of conditions with regard to degree of saturation. signal split and link length. Within the practical range of cycle length uniform delays were dominant and no critical point was found in terms of minimum, delay. In highly saturated conditions however the weight of stochastic delay is noticeable.

  • The FDS-HCIB method is expanded to simulate water-oil-air flows around oil booms under relative motion, which is intended to increase the thickness of contained oil. The FDS scheme captures discontinuity in the density field and abrupt change of the tangential velocity across an interface without smearing. The HCIB method handles relative motions of thin oil booms with ease. To validate the developed FDS-HCIB code for water-oil-air flow around a moving body, the computed results are compared with the reported experimental results on the shape, length, and thickness of the oil slicks under towing. It is observed that the increase in pressure field between two barriers lifts the oil slick and the interfacial wave propagates and reflects as one barrier gets closer to the other barrier.

  • Spin dependent transport was investigated in lateral $Py(Ni_{81}Fe_{19})/Au/Py$ spin valve devices. Clear spin valve effect was observed in conventional four-terminal measurement geometry. Higher resistance was found in antiparallel magnetization field of two Py electrodes which is determined by anisotropy magnetoresistance (AMR) measurements. The rectangular shape of spin signal together with good agreement of switching field convinces observed spin valve signal is resulted from effective spin injection and detection. The magnetoresistance ratio decays exponentially with channel length by which spin diffusion length of Au channel was estimated to be 76 nm.

  • An unconstrained tuning fork with a 3-D model has been numerically analyzed by Finite Element Method(FEM) and Boundary Element Method (BEM). The first three natural frequencies were calculated by the FEM modal analysis. Then the trend of the change of the modal frequencies was examined with the variation of the tuning fork length and width. An formula for the natural frequencies-tuning fork length relationship were derived from the numerical analysis results. Finally the BEM was used fur the sound pressure field calculation from the structural displacement data.

  • The mechanism of pullout resistance of compression anchor is analysed. This anchor is developed through the field pullout tests and the laboratory element test. The compression anchor is characterized by decrease of progressive failure, simple site work, economy and durability compared with tension anchor. The characteristics of compression anchor, compared with tension anchor. mainly are summarized as follows ; (1) The plastic displacement of anchor body is very small during pullout of anchor. (2) Total anchor length decreases by the shortening of free length; (3) The progressive failure is decreased.; (4) The safety factor for pullout resistance increases with time after construction of anchor.

  • This paper analyzed the static torque of SRM according to the variation of airgap length using Finite Element Method. The normal and tangential components of flux density are analyzed at uniform airgap field which sap length is 0.3[mm] and nonuniform airgap which gap lengths are 0.2-0.4[mm] and 0.4-0.2[mm]. Also their static torques were simulated by using Virtual Work Principle. We expect that their parameters will help for the design of Switched Reluctance Motor.

  • In order to evaluate that factors such as span length, member type and train loading affected on fatigue of steel railway bridges, in this paper, a series of field tests were carried out for some plate girder bridges. From the result estimated by rainflow counting method to analyze real strain-time curve obtained from the field test, it was known that the fatigue effect is more significant in the bridges having short span length and the secondary members regardless of train load types.

  • Cheju Island has nature of typical trass through volcanic activities in many times. The soil in Cheju Island has principally sprung from basalt and partially made up of trachyte, trachyte's nature and site. Also ancient relics, plain coarse pottery's kilns and pantiles kilns are homogeneously distributed all over the Cheju Island. In this study, as a result of X-ray fluorescence spectrometer and Mossbauer spectroscopy of a sample are from plain coarse pottery and pantiles in 5 regions of Cheju Island. It is thought that these samples are partially formed from neutral volcanic rock like trachyte and Atomicity state of iron is almost Fe$\^$3+/. Also the magnetic hyperfine field length of goethite, contained these samples is less than synthetic goethite magnetic hyperfine field length and this result shows that disintegration of inner magnetic order, created by partial substitution of diamagnetic positive ion containing Fe$\^$3+/ and Al$\^$3+/ in goethite lattice.

  • 태백산, 월악산, 팔공산 및 청주지역에서 채집한 등줄쥐, Apodemus agrarius coreae를 사용하여 형태적 형질의 단변량분석 (univariate analysis)과 다변량분석 (multivariate analysis)을 행하였다. 채집된 표본들은 서로 유사하여 동일아종임이 재입증되었다. 표본이 채집되었던 지역의 고도와 연관된 clinal variation이 discriminant analysis의 제일축(first axis)과 꼬리의 길이(length of tail vertebrae)에서 나타났다.

  • The effects of electrical positive stress on n-channel LDD and offset structured poly-Si TFT\`s have been systematically investigated in order to analyze the transfer curve\`s shift mechanism. It has been found that the LDD and offset regions behave as a series resistance that reduce the electric field near drain. Hot carrier effects are reduced because of these results. After electrical stress transfer curve’s shift and variation of the off-current are dependent upon the offset length rather than offset region’s doping concentration. Variation of the subthreshold slope is dependent upon offset region’s doping concentration as well as offset length.
