Sixteen species of Asterocheres collected from the southern and eastern coasts of Korea are recorded. Two species are redescriptions-Asterocheres aesthetes Ho, 1984 and A. siphonatus Giesbrecht, 1897. The remaining 14 new species described are A. geminus n. sp., A. processus n. sp., A. culicis n. sp., A. eurychelatus n. sp., A. scutellatus n. sp., A. spiniventer n. sp., A. fici n. sp., A. serratus n. sp., A. tridentatus n. sp., A. nodulosus n. sp., A. tetraodontis n. sp., A. dokdoicus n. sp., A. exilis n. sp., and A. zodius n. sp. These new species are compared with other known species of the genus mainly based on the character states of 17 selected characters. These characters include the length/width ratios of the caudal ramus and genital double-somite, the number of postgenital lateral setules or spinules on the genital double-somite of the female, the number of segments of the antennule of both sexes, the position of aesthetasc on antennular segments in the female, the relative length of terminal claw of the antenna, the relative length of the oral siphon, the number of segments and the relative length of the mandibular palp, the presence or absence of inner coxal seta on legs 1 and 4, the relative lengths of setae on the exopod of female leg 5, the presence or absence of sexual dimorphisms of swimming legs, and the presence or absence of a secondary aesthetasc on the male antennule. A key to 22 species of Asterocheres known in Korea waters is provided.

본 연구는 포켓몬 시리즈의 남성/남성 지배 포켓몬들과 여성/여성 지배 포켓몬들의 특징을 분석하면서 포켓몬 시리즈의 성 지위에 대해 탐구한다. 1세대부터 8세대까지 802의 포켓몬 캐릭터가 존재한다. 각 포켓몬들은 태어날 때 다른 성 비율을 지니고 있다: 하나의 포켓몬은 남성, 여성, 동등, 무성의 "확률"을 지니고 있다. 본 연구를 이러한 포켓몬들은 3가지 기준으로 분석 한다: 1) 출연 빈도 2) 능력 3) 종류의 다양성, 그리고 이것을 성별의 기준으로 비교한다. 포켓몬 시리즈는 다른 비디오 게임과 다르게 다양한 캐릭터들을 제공한다. 그러므로 이는 사람들이 비디오 게임 캐릭터들의 성 지위를 보다 깊고 의미 있게 볼 수 있도록 도와준다.

This study is to examine the types of expression and aesthetic characteristics of on-line game characters by analyzing those game characters' body and their costume that appear in various domestic on-line game sites. It is shown in this study that types of the human bodies and costume expressed through the game characters are grouped into five categories such as exposure and tightness, enlargement and exaggeration, curtailment and simplification, gender stereotype and unification. Furthermore, there are four typical aesthetic characteristics resulting from those types of expressions; First, 'grotesque' is expressed in the form of extreme enlargement and exaggeration, extreme exposure and concealment, combined images among human, animal or machine, or monstrous devilish images. Second, in an effort to express 'eroticism', bodies are directly exposed, see-through costumes are used in order to emphasize the body lines or very tight designs are used. Third, 'futuristic' characteristics are shown through geometrical shape and silhouette, machine-like details, strong artificial colors or glossy hi-tech material. Lastly, 'pastiche' is expressed with reconciliation of variety of costumes of game characters. Various opposite or heterogeneous styles are combined or harmonized each other to show pastiche, of which examples are male and female, superior culture and inferior one, rich and poor, oriental and western, human and machine, human and nature or past and future, etc.

여성 간 로맨스를 다룬 GL(Girls' Love)은 서브컬쳐 시장에서 규모가 작고, 마이너한 문화로 여겨진다. 그럼에도 불구하고 최근 '페미니즘 리부트' 속에서 여성이 주인공으로 등장하는 서사에 대한 목소리가 높아지고, 자연스레 GL에 대한 관심도 증가하고 있다. '탈BL'을 선언한 사람들이 남성 캐릭터 대신 여성 캐릭터가 등장하는 GL을 소비해야 한다고 권장하는 것이다. 여성창작자가 여성의 이야기를 쓰는 여성 서사를 소비하고, 이를 통해 여성 서사의 범위를 확장시켜야 한다고 주장하는 분위기 속에서 '2018 우리만화상'을 수상한 웹툰 <그녀의 심청>은 신화 다시 쓰기를 통해 여성 서사의 가능성을 탐색한다. 효녀, 열녀 등 여성에게 주어진 젠더 규범은 <그녀의 심청>에서 모두 새로운 이름을 얻는다. 착한 딸은 거짓말과 도둑질을 일삼고, 현숙한 부인에게는 사랑하는 여자가 있다. 심청 외에도 뺑덕어미나 장승상 부인, 장승상의 며느리까지 여성인물들의 사연에 집중함으로써 남성이 지배하는 사회에서 생존하기 위한 여성들 사이의 연대를 강조하기도 한다. 이 과정에서 여성들 사이의 연대는 자연스레 GL적 상상력으로 이어진다. <그녀의 심청>은 여성 사이의 키스나 포옹 등 직접적인 신체 접촉을 아름다운 일러스트로 표현하며, 남자 없는 세계의 여성 간 로맨스를 보여준다. 여성들 사이의 연대가 종종 '위험하지 않은' 우정이나 소녀적 감수성으로 여겨지는 것과 달리, <그녀의 심청>의 여성 간 로맨스는 여성 거래의 문화적 규칙을 깨는 여성 성장 서사다. 이를 통해 헤게모니적 남성성을 중심으로 여성을 거래해온 공모적 남성 연대의 모순이 드러난다. 이처럼 GL 서사는 로맨스가 불가능한 시대의 서브컬쳐적 대안으로 부상하고 있다.

This study analyzes the visual image and the symbolic image of the 'New Woman' main female characters' costumes in three films: , , and , set in the Korean Empire Period and filmed in the last 10 years. The findings are as follows. First, on the visual image by formative characteristics, Gibson girl style was reflected in Western costume design. Korean costume design is based on a traditional style (or modified in some parts). Second, the three films have the same historical background on the visual image by the fidelity of historical research; however, the fidelity of historical research differs and varies with the personality of characters or situations in the films. Third, all three films share the symbolic image by characteristics of characters and 'New Woman' aspect with the same historical background and 'New Woman' female character in common; however, the personality and 'New Woman' aspect of the characters were somewhat different. There was also a distinct difference in the symbolic image of Western and Korean costumes. Western and Korean costumes signify externality versus internality and denial versus the affirmation of national identity in ; dailiness versus ceremonialness and dynamics versus statics in ; and independence versus conformity and variability versus continuity in .

누에 7개 품종을 이면교잡하여 얻은 F$_1$, 세대에 대한 잡종강세, 선발지수 그리고 유전적 진전 등을 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 잡종강세는 F$_1$세대에서 5령경과, 견층연감율의 자웅이 부의 방향을 나타냈고 견층비율을 제외한 전 형질이 20.90-37.60%로 정의 높은 강세율을 나타내었다. F$_2$에서는 견층비율, 견층연감율의 자웅이 부로, 그 외의 전 형질이 정의 강세율을 나타내었다. 선발지수는 선발의 최종대상형질을 견사량으로 하였을 때 F$_1$, F$_2$세대 모두 단일형질에서 단견중이 높았다. 선발대상형질을 5령경과, 단견중 견층중, fibroin량 등의 4개 형질로 하여 2, 3, 4형질을 조합하였을 때, 5령 경과와 단견중의 조합에서 선발가중치가 가장 크게 나타났다. 유전진전은 F$_1$, F$_2$세대에서 한일형질에서는 모두 견층중이 가장 높았고, 각 형질간의 조합에서는 전 형질을 조합하였을 때가 가장 높았다. 관계효율도 전 형질을 조합하였을 때가 가장 높았다.

The inheritance of violet and green stems was examined in F1 F2 of violetstem variant x yellow-berry variant in Panax ginseng C. A. Meyer, and the characters of F1 and F2 plants were investigated. From these results, it was shown that most of the characters of F1 and F2 plants were simillar to the female plants. However, reciprocal crosses between violet and green stems yielded progeny of violet-stem variant. Thus the cross V♀x♂Y gave all violet-stem seedlings, and the cross Y♂ x Y♀ gave all violet-stem seedlings. And all of the crosses segregated in F2 in a ratio of 3 violet to 1 green.

Numerous films and TV series worldwide have depicted characters with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and savant skills. This study describes the portrayal of ASD and savant skills in Korean films and dramas. Starting with the 2005 film Marathon, characters with ASD have been featured in five films and four dramas. Most portrayals were based on the diagnostic criteria and pathogenesis of ASD, as outlined in the DSM-5. Of the 10 characters with ASD in these films and dramas, seven were male and three were female, with seven of them possessing savant skills. In the future, caution and guidance on the general characteristics of ASD from experts should be provided with the release of ASD-based films and TV dramas in Korea; in addition, critiques and social discourse pertinent to the reality of ASD should be provided by people with ASD, their families, and relevant experts.

The purpose of this analysis is to investigate the effect of leading characters in picture books on self concept in children. For this study, we selected a total of 55 picture books, all of which were best sellers in four internet book stores. The method used for the study was based on content analysis. The results of this analysis were as follows: First, the gender of leading characters was male more often than female, and the majority of picture books were creative story books and translation books. Second, subordinate parts related to the self-concept were most frequently found in the social self-concept. Social self-concept was positively expressed through the relationship between friend and family characters in story books. Cognitive self-concept was the least. Third, when the frequency of positive and negative expressions in picture books was analyzed, the social self-concept was found to be positively expressed in the subordinate parts of relationships between friends and family. The social self-concept was negatively expressed, however, in the subordinate parts of relationship between non-significant others, and the emotional self-concept was also negatively expressed in the subordinate parts of the emotional recognition and expression. In summary. instances of cognitive self-concept and positive expression were found to be more significant than negative ones.

본 연구는 전통적으로 여성혐오적인 장르인 한국형 느와르 장르에서 2000년대 들어 여성을 주인공으로 설정하는 사례가 목도되는 데 주목하여 최근작인 영화 <미옥>에 대한 젠더 정치학적 관점의 분석을 시도했다. 구체적으로 장르적 삼요소, 등장인물의 정체성과 가족 관계, 오이디푸스 궤적의 문제를 중심으로 내러티브 분석을 진행했다. 영화 <미옥>은 여성 주인공에게 모성애를 기입하고 남성의 순애보를 강조하는 내러티브, 여성 주인공의 생물학적 정체성을 증거하는 모성에 관한 플래시백, 남성적 관음증에 따른 거세공포를 약화하는 기호 등을 담보한다. 그리고 정체성의 분열과 가족 관계의 균열을 묘사하며 젠더 정체성의 혼란과 가족 멜로물로의 내러티브적 변질이 나타난다. 한편 영화가 여성 주인공의 모성을 타자를 품는 대안적인 특질로 확장하는 대신 생물학적인 것으로 환원하면서 여성적 오이디푸스 궤적의 완수에 실패하게 한다. 이러한 연구결과를 통해 조폭 느와르라는 장르가 젠더 정치학과 긴밀한 연관을 맺고 있으며 젠더 편향에서 온전히 벗어나지 못하고 있음을 고찰할 수 있었다.
