In the environment where human coexists with robot, the problem of safety is very important. But it is difficult to separate the robot from the human in time-domain or space-domain unlike the case of factory automation, so a new concept is needed. One approach is to notice sensory and emotional feeling of human, and in this study "pain" is focused, which is a typical unpleasant feeling when the robot contacts us. In this paper, to design the controller based on the pain, an artificial superficial pain model caused by impact is proposed. This ASPM model consists of mechanical pain model, skin model and gate control by artificial neural networks (ANNs). The proposed ASPM is evaluated by experiments.

In this paper, we proposed a teleoperation scheme of unmanned grounded vehicle to improve telepresence. Especially, bilateral control architecture for transmitting realistic steering feeling to the remote driver is investigated. System architecture of the teleoperated remote vehicle is introduced with visual, auditory and kinesthetic haptic channel. Several bilateral control architectures are proposed for transmitting remote steering feeling, and subject tests are done to evaluate the performance. Position-force bilateral control architecture with returning torque compensation algorithm shows best performance.

The purpose of this study was to understand life experience of mother's abscence to the adolescent boys. Nine participants(7th-9th grades) were selected and interviewed intensively. Data were analyzed according to the methods of Colaizzi. Significant statements were extracted from data. From those significant statements, 37 themes, 15 clusters of themes and 5 categories were emerged. Fifteen cluster of themes formed 5 categories : Feeling loneliness, longing for mother and suppressing the painful feelings, sense of distance between toward father and friend, being pessimistic about the situation they face, and feeling envy. In this study the author described unique life experience of adolescent boys who are living with single father.

The purpose of this study was to focus on the effects of a mother's characteristics and self-awareness as they impact upon parenting stress, with the additional aim of creating an appropriate structural equation model. The subjects of the study comprised 2078 newborn children (and their mothers) taken from the $1^{st}$ year of the Korea Children's Panel. The results of the research are as follows. The mother's feeling of pregnancy, her income activity, religion, and educational level impacted significantly upon self-awareness, whereas employment status did not. In addition, the feeling of pregnancy and income activity had a effect on parenting stress both directly and indirectly. Educational level and religion impacted on parenting stress indirectly through self-awareness. Both employment status and self-awareness were found to have impacted on parenting stress directly. The implication of these findings are also discussed.

This paper presents the key idea of handlebar reaction force and pedal resistance force generation in creating life-like feeling in KAIST bicycle simulator. Also, it provides methods to evaluate its reality level with given reaction force profile. In KAIST bicycle simulator, the pedal resistance force and the handlebar reaction force are calculated using the bicycle dynamic model. With the information handlebar angle, rider´s pedaling torque and road profile transmitted from the handlebar system, the pedal system and the visual part, the bicycle dynamics engine calculates the handlebar reaction force and the pedal velocity. This is a study to grasp the correlation between high school students' social persenality and residential environment. THe samples were 197 boys and 200 girls who were attending the high schools located in Pusan. Social personality which contains family relations and social relations was measured by the standardized test of K.T.C. The path-analysis was used to make the causal relations of the collected data clear. RESULTS : 1. Feeling on the residential environment underwent the most potent influence by the floor space per person and social personality by feeling on the residential environment. 2. For the boy-students, the family relations andsocial relations was affected by the case of renthouse, the family relations by the case of noisy residence, and the social relations by the case of no-private room. 3. For the girl-students, the cases of higher stories and having private room made the family relations unharmonious, the cases of narrow floor space per person and the single house made the social relations troublesome, too.

This study has been carried out to investigate the cause, symptom and treatment of Gi-Su(氣嗽) by referring to 20 literatures. The results were as follows; 1. The factors causing Gi-Su(氣嗽) divided into 3 groups. The 1st outer factors are mental element, 2nd spleen week 3rd dam(痰). 2. The symptom of Gi-Su(氣嗽) is as follows. stimulus feeling in throat, cough, pain of sub-ribs, bad feeling, retching, vomiting, unfair, fatigue, worn, diarrhea, dark tongue, makhyun(脈弦). 3. The treatment of Gi-Su(氣嗽) is as follows. gaewulhanggi(關鬱行氣), egichungpae(利膈淸肺), hwadam(化痰), soganhaeWul(疏肝解鬱), hanggidoche(行氣導滯), sangyuljedam(散結除痰) 4. The drugs of Gi-Su(氣嗽) is as follows. chilgitang(七氣湯), gamisachiltang(加味四七湯), sojaganggitang(蘇子降氣湯), banhahubaktang(半夏厚朴湯).

This study surveys the thermal property and air permeability to the weight reduction rate of PET fabrics. For this purpose, 12 kinds of satin and 18 kinds of plain weave fabrics are prepared with change of the physical properties such as weft yarn count, t.p.m. and density. The weight reduction rate was 0%, 12%, 25% and 30%. The warm/cool feeling(Qmax), thermal insulating value(T.I.V.) and thermal conductivity(K) were measured by KES-F7 System and discussed in relation with the weight reduction rate, weft yarn linear density, t.p.m., weft density of fabric and weave structure.

Beauty of balance, can be found in antique furniture of the Joseon Dynasty. Balance, give comfort and peace of mind to people. Even today, the balance in various fields, it is easily viewed, and an important one element indispensable in the design. Various lighting is an essential element of the interior to create an atmosphere of space. It is also useful in a variety of ways for beauty, emotional effect, such as the switching of visual atmosphere. This design was designed with the concept of balanced. In addition, I have applied a simple graphic appearance. To give the fun and tension while giving it a well-balanced when you meet the figure. The design of this study is nothing more than a single direction. It will be in the traveling direction of the future as a designer by using a simple structure and phenomena that appear in life, is given to the design without the feeling of rejection to the user.

The furniture of the Joseon era, life sense of human forms a culture has appeared well.
