Following is the results after analyzing the compiled datas. 1. The E.Q. level difference between people who joined, and who not joined in a sports action activity was reported existing, the total E.Q average of those who joined was resulted 212.6, a point 29.6 higher than those not joined of 183.0 ( p< .05). As for the E.Q causing points, it resulted that the points of the joined group is generally up than that of the non-joined group, especially this difference was remarkable in terms of feeling recognition or feeling control, a finding that deserves an attention ( p<.05) 2. Joining periods of sports activity did also have relation to develping E.Q. of school-childhood according to this research, the total E.Q points of a group joined in the activity more than 2 years was 215.5 points, which was 17.4 points higher than those not joined of 186.5 points ( p< .05). Backing again to E.Q causing points in this case, it resulted without exeption of all main causes that those who joined in more than 2 years are generally higher than that of those joined less than 2 years, especially the difference was regarded as big in terms of feeling recognition or feeling control, a finding that deserves an attention ( p<.01). 3. The E.Q. differnce between those joined in a specialty aptitude activity and not joined was studied existing, the total E.Q average points of those joined in a specialty aptitude activity was 207.8, a higher figure by 21.3 points than those not joined group of 186.5 ( p< .05). As for the E.Q causing points, it resulted without exeption of all main causes that those who joined are generally higher than that of those not joined, especially for feeling recognition or feeling control, this difference was more clear, a finding that deserves an attention ( p<.01). 4. It also resulted that E.Q growth depends on the periods to have joined in a speciality aptitude activity, for example, the total E.Q points of those joined in the activity more than 2 years was 217.1, a total more higher by 13.5 points than 203.6 of those not joined ( p< .05). For the E.Q. causing points, it, with the exception of empathy was resulted that those who joined in the speciality aptitude activity more than 2 years are generally higher than those joined less than 2 years, especially the difference is remarkable in terms of feeling recognition or feeling control, a finding that is also remarkable ( p<.05). 5. The E.Q difference between the men and women who joined in both activities of sports & speciality aptitude was found existing, the total E.Q. average for women was resulted 214.2 points, which was 9.2 points higher than men of 205.0. As for the E.Q. causing points, which, without exeption of main causes, women's was reported being high than that of men, in special is more remarkable in terms of feeling control, a finding that deserves an attention. • Objectives : This study compared covert narcissistic propensity in adolescents with internet addiction tendency to normal adolescents. Further, we investigated the correlation between such propensities and anonymity in cyberspace, presence feeling and interactivity in internet gaming, and achievement motivation in adolescents with internet addiction tendencies. Methods : Male middle school students with internet addiction tendencies (Addiction Tendency Group, N=27) and normal students (Control Group, N=29) were recruited. The scale of internet use, Covert Narcissism Scale, scale of achievement motivation, scale of anonymity in cyberspace, scale of presence feeling in internet games, and the scale of interactivity in internet games were administered. A comparison of the average scores and correlation analyses were performed. Results : 1) Compared with Control Group, the Addiction Tendency Group showed significantly higher scores on all subscales of the Covert Narcissism Scale, and both the scale of presence feeling and that of interactivity in internet games. Further, the score on the scale of achievement motivation for the Addiction Tendency Group was significantly lower than that of the Control Group. 2) In the Addiction Tendency Group, the scores on several subscales of the Covert Narcissism Scale were significantly positively correlated with the scores on the scale of presence feeling in internet games, anonymity in cyberspace, and interactivity in internet games. However, in the Control Group, the scores of several subscales on the Covert Narcissism Scale were significantly negatively correlated with the score on the scale of achievement motivation, and was significantly positively correlated with the score on the scale of interactivity in internet games. There were no other significant correlations between the scores on the subscales of the Covert Narcissism Scale and the scores of either presence feeling in internet games or anonymity in cyberspace. Conclusion : These results suggested that adolescents with a tendency to be addicted to the internet exhibited higher covert narcissistic propensities than normal adolescents and that the covert narcissistic tendencies were related with presence feeling in cyber games as well as with anonymity in cyberspace.

  • Recently, medical devices for a smart health development and dissemination are becoming increasingly frequent use of devices and their's thermal stability, durability, the external splendors are required. Industrial demand for smart health medical devices uses high-functioning electrodeposition technology that expressed pearl-like feeling is rapidly increasing. Generally, pearl powder is added to electrodeposition pigment in order to form a coating which shows pearl-like feeling. On the other hand, the electrodeposition technology for the smart health medical devices uses a new method that can express pearl-like feeling without using pearl powder. In this study, we was tried to find out the most appropriate texture formation, the right dilution recipe. We've tried various ptoportions of pigments (ED-600, ED-600S, ED-MX, ED-M). As a result, we found out that ED-600 and ED-MX (15% solid) in appropriate concentration showed the best adherence rate. By several samples tests and experiments which include washing the fixed pigment in various temperature levels ($20{\sim}40^{\circ}C$) and drying, we were able to get the best results in drying condition of $180{\pm}10^{\circ}C$ and $30{\pm}5min$. The research showed that it is mush more competitive and cost effective to use the new method that produces natural pearl-like feeling on the surface than to add pearl powder to high-functioning electrodeposition pigment, which is a method that has been used for the smart health medical devices so far.

  • The purpose of this phenomenological study was to understand the lived experience of mothers of children with muscular dystrophy. The participants were 11 mothers recruited by snowball sampling, who agreed with the objectives of the research and could verbally communicate with the researcher and who lived with their sons who had muscular dystrophy. Data collection was done through in-depth interviews with participants in their own homes. Each interview took 50 to 120 minutes. All of the interviews were audiotaped and then transcribed. Data were analyzed using Colaizzi's (1978) method of phenomenology. From the transcripts 109 significant sentences and phrases were selected and 13 clusters of themes were categorized from 67 significant statements. These results were integrated into the essential structure of the lived experience of mothers of children with muscular dystrophy. 1. Anxious and relying on chance due to indefinite diagnosis. 2. Only able to cry with shock because of son's fatal disease. 3. Seeing the future as dismal and feeling resentment that this disease in transmitted through the mother. 4. Feeling caught between a husband who is distancing himself from his family and the family which is disintegrating. 5. Feeling like a sinner for transmission of genetic disease(Feeling guilt for conceiving a son with a genetically transmitted fatal disease). 6. Empathizing with other suffers of muscular dystropy and their parents in their grief and helping to dissipate their heavy feelings. 7. Deciding to sacrifice self as a way of taking responsibility for giving birth to a handi-capped son. 8. Losing hope (feeling despair) as son's condition deteriorates in spite of all attempts to help him. 9. Wishing to die with son who becomes progressively immobile. 10. Accumulating Han*(한, 恨), because of rising Hwa(화, anger), and becoming sick both mentally and physically. 11. Seeing events as destiny and finding self-control through faith. 12. Finally, giving up sacrificing self for son and becoming concerned(involved) with other children in the family. 13. Feeling fear at son's impending death. This is the first research on the experience of Korean mothers of children with muscular dystrophy. In applying the phenomenology research method, this study not only helps health professionals understand the experience of these mothers in the Korean patriarchal social system, but the researcher, as a nurse, can share their agony and grief through identification of their inner world through in-depth personal interviews. The results obtained in this study will not only help in the development of family nursing practice for families with genetically transmitted diseases but also prepare basic data for family nursing practice in the Korean sociocultural context.

  • This paper presents an image processing method which emphasizes a certain perception feeling on a color image. A series of fuzzy image processing schemes are proposed, which transform an color image represented in the LCH coordinate system to the image with a certain perception feeling based on the rules and fuzzy inference. To obtain the rules, results of the sensory perception tests are applied to the quantification theory. The proposed schemes can be effectively utilized in the color copy system, since printed outputs possibly look better than originals.
