The used information books were based on Samsung Fashion Institute and Interfashion Planning, Inc. The 02/03 F/W season emphasized restoration-romantic, nostalgic mood themes. Fashion trend information and consumer acceptance condition tend to concentrate on trend themes given tv fashion information companies. In other words, $Sincere\;girl(39.04\%){\to}Frontier\;girl(34.92\%){\to}Dark\;lady(18.43\%){\to}Lady\;belle(7.59\%)$ in this order Also when looking into the consumer's wearing, no one theme appears by itself and the themes are mixed accordingly to one's lifestyle and sensibility. Accordingly fashion information organizations must provide precise fashion trends according to consumer sensibility & consumption and also compare trend information to consumer fashion trends each season. With this precise information the planned design plans will help the domestic fashion markets, which are gradually overrun by foreign brands, develop a unique and original fashion product that meets consumer sensitivity needs, and develop a new stepping stone for fashion companies and the relative fashion industry and furthermore contribute to the advancement of overseas markets.

  • The purpose of this study is to identify apparel consumers' immoral shopping behaviors from apparel retail sales associates' perspectives. As a first step to understand immoral consumer behaviors in apparel retail setting, the study took an exploratory approach using five focus-group interviews with 35 apparel salespeople. The immoral behavior of fashion (product) consumers was divided into two categories: one was the immoral behavior associated with the product, and the other was the immoral behavior relative to the consumer. The immoral behavior associated with the product was classified into three types: shoplifting, inappropriate returns, and damaging to merchandise. Immoral behavior relative to the consumer was classified into two types: abusive behavior by a consumer toward sales associates and excessive demand. Although, shoplifting was the primary immoral behavior mentioned by all interview participants, most sales associates failed to recognize shoplifting as a serious criminal behavior. Another commonly mentioned immoral consumer behaviors was retail borrowing, which may pose serious problems to the fashion industry. The findings of this study will provide a basis for approaches that may help decrease immoral consumer behavior at fashion retail stores and provide a basis for developing materials for consumer education over the long term.

A framework was proposed to investigate the relationships between consumer motivation, consumer attitude, and purchase intention in the manner of adopting a fashion-sharing platform. Consumer motivations are divided into three categories: utilitarian, hedonic, and ecological. The moderating effects of product replacement cycle (PRC) on consumer attitude and purchase intention are also investigated. Data collection was developed using a web-based survey where 180 consumer respondents from South Korea participated. The results of our analysis indicate that consumers' hedonic and ecological motivations are positively related to favorable consumer attitudes, even when consumers' utilitarian motivation is denied. Consumer attitude is also positively related to purchase intention in the fashion-sharing platform. A moderating effect of PRC is recorded between consumer attitude and purchase intention based on high and low PRC, as well as the effect of ecological motivation and consumer attitude on high PRC.
