장안모증환자의 술후 안정성 및 연조직변화에 대한 연구 (AN EVALUATION OF POSTOPERATIVE STABILITY AND SOFT-TISSUE CHANGES OF THE LONG FACE SYNDROME PATIENTS)

  • Purpose : The purpose of the present study was to evaluate postoperative stability and soft-tissue osseous relations of the long face syndrome patients. Methods : Twenty-five patients who had undergone bimaxillary surgery to correct long face syndrome at the Pusan National University Hospital were evaluated. The lateral cephalograms of preoperative, 1 week postoperative and at least 1 year postoperative were examined. Results : 1. The facial height of the long face syndrome patients were longer than normal Korean adults. 2. The most common malocclusion type of the long face syndrome patients in Korea was class III. 3. Horizontal postoperative skeletal relapses were $-0.64{\sim}0.80mm$ in the maxilla, and $-0.56{\sim}0.48mm$ in the mandible. 4. Vertical postoperative skeletal relapses were $0.20{\sim}0.56mm$ in the maxilla, and $-0.80{\sim}0.20mm$ in the mandible. 5. Postoperative soft tissue changes in long face syndrome patients were correlated with postoperative skeletal changes. So prediction schemes for postoperative soft-tissue changes were obtainable. Conclusion : It is hard to predict the exact direction and quantity of the postoperative skeletal relapse in long face syndrome patient's orthognathic surgery because of large standard deviation. But soft tissue change is predictable via prediction scheme.

슬러리 쉴드 터널의 막장 안정성 평가 - 슬러리의 폐색효과를 중심으로 - (Face Stability Assessment of Slurry-shield Tunnels - Concentrating on Slurry Clogging Effect -)

  • 슬러리 쉴드 터널에서 슬러리 침투의 유동학적 특성은 막장안정성 측면에서 중요하다. 특히, 슬러리의 침투는 막장 안정성에 큰 영향을 미치며, 본 연구에서 이런 유동학적 특성을 파악하기 위하여 흙-필터의 폐색이론을 적용하였다. 터널시공 도중 슬러리 폐색의 지표로 필터계수를 사용하였으며, 실내실험을 통해 이의 적용성을 규명하였다. 실내실험의 결과를 바탕으로 한 안정해석 결과, 막장안정성은 침투속도와 필터계수의 비율에 영향을 받음을 알 수 있었다. 또한, 슬러리의 침투깊이는 침투속도와 필터계수의 비율과 함께 증가하는 경향을 보였다. 막장안정성은 침투거리가 증가하면 감소하는 경향을 보였으며, 침투거 리를 줄이기 위하여 슬러리에 첨가제를 첨가하였다. 실험에 근거한 분석결과 첨가제가 필요한 한계 유효입경$(D_{10})$은 약 0.75mm임을 알 수 있었다. 슬러리 침투로 인한 막장 안정성은 터널공사시의 굴진속도에도 크게 영향을 받음을 알 수 있었다.

직접분사식 가솔린엔진의 연소실 형상이 성층화 연소에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Combustion Chamber Shape on the Stratified Combustion of a GDI Engine)

  • A study to investigate the influence of combustion chamber shape, especially piston top face configuration, on the combustion stability is presented with CFD analysis and single cylinder GDI engine test. Initial configuration of the piston bowl was designed with CFD analysis and further parametric studies of the design factors on the piston top face were carried out through the single cylinder GDI engine test. It was found that both the geometry of piston top face and the compression ratio have great influences on the combustion stability. Of interest is that the design factors of the GDI piston to prevent mixture diffusion out of the piston bowl have important roles for the stable combustion at the stratified mixture condition. Also the relationship between spray impingement and flow pattern in a GDI piston bowl should be considered to design an optimal bowl configuration for stable stratified combustion.

도심지 대심도 암반굴착공사에서의 자동계측 활용에 의한 붕괴방지 사례 (A Stability Case on the Deep Rock Excavation Site in Urban Area by Automatic Monitoring System)

  • The deep excavation work in Korean downtown is almost excuted near by existing structures and utility lines because of the diminution of available yard for construction. So, it was required more and more that the accurate control of displacement on the earth retaining system for minimizing the popular complaint and the damage from constructional accident. Automatic monitoring system is adopted in fracture zone for real time monitoring. In addition, Face mapping is carried out on the face of fracture zone according to excavation sequence. As the result of automatic monitoring system and face mapping, we was able to take the necessary reinforcement and changing excavation method within suitable time. This paper is informed about a stability case on the deep rock excavation site with fracture zone in urban area by automatic monitoring system.

  • 담수시 저수되는 수압에 의해 face slab con'c 내부의 응력변화가 발생하여 댐 제체의 안정성에 영향을 미칠 가능성이 있으므로 face slab con'c의 내부 응력변화를 측정하기 위하여 매립형 strain gauge가 많이 적용되고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 ${\circ}{\circ}$댐에 적용된 strain gauge를 이용하여 댐 제체 내 외부 변형을 측정하였다. 그 결과 댐의 안정성 분석과 전체적인 경향을 파악함에 있어서 strain gauge의 계측 값만으로는 한계가 있으므로 관련 계기의 측정값을 함께 검토해야 할 것으로 사료된다.

  • In this paper, there is intended to introduce the new tunnel face shape, that is concave shaped face, and discusses its effects on the tunnel stabilization. Therefore, a comparative analysis in which the stability of a concave face was compared to that of a conventional plane face on the basis of displacement patterns in the tunnel face was conducted using a model test. In order to check and confirm displacement patterns on the concave face according to the radius of curvature as well as those around the face according to lateral pressure coefficient(k), two experimental concave models, produced at a scale of 1:2 and 1:5(tunnel radius), of the forefront of the curved area extended from plane face was built and tested.

Assessment of nonlinear stability of geometrically imperfect nanoparticle-reinforced beam based on numerical method

  • In this paper, a finite element (FE) simulation has been developed in order to examine the nonlinear stability of reinforced sandwich beams with graphene oxide powders (GOPs). In this regard, the nonlinear stability curves have been obtained asuming that the beam is under compressive loads leading to its buckling. The beam is considered to be a three-layered sandwich beam with metal core and GOP reinforced face sheets and it is rested on elastic substrate. Moreover, a higher-order refined beam theory has been considered to formulate the sandwich beam by employing the geometrically perfect and imperfect beam configurations. In the solving procedure, the utalized finite element simulation contains a novel beam element in which shear deformation has been included. The calculated stability curves of GOP-reinforced sandwich beams are shown to be dependent on different parameters such as GOP amount, face sheet thickness, geometrical imperfection and also center deflection.

Experimental and numerical study on the stability of slurry shield tunneling in circular-gravel layer with different cover-span ratios

  • A set of slurry shield test system capable of cutter cutting and slurry automatic circulation is used to investigate the deformation characteristics, the evolution characteristics of support resistance and the distribution and evolution process of earth pressure during excavating and collapsing of slurry shield tunneling in circular-gravel layer. The influence of cover-span ratio on surface subsidence, support resistance and failure mode of excavation face is also discussed. Three-dimensional numerical calculations are performed to verify the reliability of the test results. The results show that, with the decrease of the supporting force of the excavation face, the surface subsidence goes through four stages: insensitivity, slow growth, rapid growth and stability. The influence of shield excavation on the axial earth pressure of the front soil is greater than that of the vertical earth pressure. When the support resistance of the excavation face decreases to the critical value, the soil in front of the excavation face collapses. The shape of the collapse is similar to that of a bucket. The ultimate support resistance increase with the increase of the cover-span ratio, however, the angle between the bottom of the collapsed body and the direction of the tunnel excavation axis when the excavation face is damaged increase first and then becomes stable. The surface settlement value and the range of settlement trough decrease with the increase of cover-span ratio. The numerical results are basically consistent with the model test results.

FEM해석에 의한 막장볼트 및 보조벤치의 막장안정성 효과에 관한 연구 (Study on the Effect of Bolt and Sub-bench on the Stabilization of Tunnel Face through FEM Analysis)

  • 본 연구에서는 지반등급 V중에서 막장자립이 곤란한 지반에 대해 지반고유의 지지력을 최대한 이용하기 위한 굴착공법 및 적정벤치길이에 대해 검토하고, 보조공법으로 막장볼트를 적용할 경우 타설 패턴, 타설 개수에 따라 막장 및 막장주변지반에 어떠한 영향이 발생되는지에 대해 3차원 FEM해석을 수행하였다. 보조벤치 병용전단면공법이 조기 단면폐합으로 변위를 크게 줄일 수 있음을 알 수 있었으며, 타설 패턴으로는 격자상, 교호배치형(지그재그형), 원주상순으로 변위억제효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 타설 개수 증가에 따라 막장축방향 수평변위에 대해 억제효과가 있는 것으로 분석되었으며 보조벤치 병용 전단면공법굴착시공의 경우 막장부 $1.5m^2$에 1개의 막장볼트(격자상) 타설로 막장면 안정성을 확보할 수 있을 것으로 판단되었다.

터널 시공현장 붕괴 사례를 이용한 막장의 안정성 평가 연구 (Stability Assessment of Tunnel Excavation Face Utilizing Characteristics of Collapse Cases)

  • 쉴드공법은 국제적인 사례에서 그 안정성을 입증한 반면, 경제적 효율성을 지닌 것으로 알려진 NATM 터널 굴착공법은 피복이 얕고 지반이 풍화되며 지하수가 많은 도심지에 적용 시 어려움을 겪고 있다. 본 논문에서는 도심지의 풍화된 암반층과 미고결 사질토 지반에서 발생할 수 있는 전형적인 두 가지 붕락 사례를 소개하고, 여섯 가지 안정성 평가 방법으로 두 붕락 사례를 분석하였으며, 그 결과를 종합하여 육각형의 다이어그램에 의한 방법으로 터널의 막장 안정성을 평가하였다. 본 연구의 분석 결과, 붕괴한 두 터널 현장의 결과와 평가 결과가 잘 일치하였으며, 대상터널의 지반 특성을 고려한 종합적인 평가 방법인 막장 안정성 평가 다이어그램에 의한 방법은 터널 설계 단계에서 터널의 막장 안정성을 확보하는 데 중요한 역할을 할 것으로 판단된다.
