선체의 변형을 감지하기 위한 새로운 형태의 장주기 광섬유 격자 소자 (Novel Long-period Fiber Grating devices for Monitoring the Deformation of Ship Hull)

  • We have developed novel optical-fiber sensors based on strain-induced long-period fiber gratings for monitoring the deformation of a hull. They have no external pressure for sustaining the mechanical formed gratings. The pressure, which provides a force to form the periodic grating along the single mode fiber, was realized by the bonding strength of a photopolymer. To reduce the polarization dependency of the sensors caused by the asymmetry structure of gratings, a Faraday Rotator Mirror (FRM) was utilized in this experiment. We have realized the polarization-insensitive function of the proposed sensors. The change of an external strain are measured by an optical spectrum analyzer. When the external stain increases. the attenuation at the resonant wavelength decreases and the loss peak was slightly shifted to the shorter wavelength.

핀 휠을 구비한 외륜형 선회베어링의 면압강도 (Contact Stress of Slewing Ring Bearing with External Pinwheel Gear Set)

  • The pin-gear drive is a special form of fixed-axle gear mechanism. A large wheel with cylindrical pin teeth is called a pinwheel. As pinwheels are rounded, they have a simple structure, easy processing, low cost, and easy overhaul compared with general gears. They are also suitable for low-speed, heavy-duty mechanical transmission and for occasions with more dust, poor lubrication, etc. This paper introduces a novel slewing ring bearing with an external pinwheel gear set (e-PGS). First, we consider the exact cam pinion profile of the e-PGS with the introduction of a profile shift. Then, the contact stresses are investigated to determine the characteristics of the surface fatigue by varying the shape design parameters. The results show that the contact stresses of the e-PGS can be lowered significantly by increasing the profile shift coefficient.

  • This study analyzed the works, introduced in the collections of Yohji Yamamoto in an aim to identify traditional aesthetic and design concepts. As the data to study the concept and expression of the designer, fashion photographs were gathered in a focus on collections since 1990's. The traditional aesthetic expressed in the works of Yohji Yamamoto were characterized by the external aesthetics and the internal aesthetics. The traditional aesthetic of external aesthetics were classified into the plasticity and the wearing, and those of internal aesthetics were divided into the moderation, expertness and aesthetic exclusion. The plasticity was extracted into line, form and color. The wearing was presented artist of purpose through the mutual text. The moderation was based on the moral goodness and the aesthetical beauty. The expertness represented the fitting method and mutual reaction of color. through the natural beauty. The aesthetic exclusion was expressed through simplicity, loftiness, and unbalance.

  • Brushless DC(BLDC) motor have been increasingly used in machine tools and robotics applications due to the reliability and the efficiency. In control of BLDC motor, it is important to construct the controller which is robust to parameter variations and external disturbances. Variable structure controller(VSC) has been known as a powerful tool in robust control of time varying systems. In practical systems, however, VSC has a high frequency chattering which deteriorates system performances. In this paper, a binary controller(BC) which takes the form of VSC and MRAC combined is presented to solve this problem. BC consists of the primary loop controller and the external loop controller to change the gain of primary loop controller smoothly. So it can generate the continuous control input and is insensitive to parameter variations in the given domain. To confirm the validity, various investigations of control characteristics for various design parameters in a position control system of BLDC motor are carried out.   • In this study, I invastigate about oriental medical drug, dosage form and directions in external therapy of contact dermatitis. and after study on relationship oriental medical drug, dosage form and directions with cause, symptom and differentiation of symptom and sign. The results are as follows; 1. Most frequently used oriental medical drug is until qing(淸) dynasty Eriocheir sinensis H. Milne-Edwards(蟹), Salix babylonica L.(柳葉), Natrii sulfas(芒硝), Allium macrostemon Bge.(해), Nelumbo nucifera Gaertn.(荷葉), nowadays in Korea and China Phellodendron amurense Rupr.(黃柏), Gypsum(石膏), Rheum palmatum L.(大黃), Baphicacanthus cusia Bremek(靑黛), Talcum(滑石). 2. In the frequency of dosage form, until qing(淸) dynasty powder 1case, liquor 49cases, liquer and solid mixture 58cases, nowadays Korea and China powder 16cases, liquor 96cases, liquer and solid mixture 59cases. 3. Most frequently used directions of dosage is thinly attaching method(薄貼法), attaching method(敷貼法), furnigating and cleansing method(熏洗法), cleansing method(洗傷法), wet dressing method(濕敷法), spreading powder method(撲粉法), plaster method(途차法), rubbing skin method(摩擦法) 4. In the external therapy of contact dermatitis, oriental medical drug's usage is based on stage of contact dermatitis In acute stage, most frequently used drug is heat and damp remove drug(淸熱燥濕藥), nature of drug(藥性) is bitter taste and cold charactor(苦寒), In chronic stage, most frequently used drug is nourishing the blood drug(養血藥), promoting blood circulation drug(活血藥). 5. The dosage form of drug is based on symptom. In acute stage, when papules and vesicles, or erosion and exudation is the main symptom of skin, liquor or powder is used, when erosion and crust is the main symptom of skin, plaster is used. In chronic stage, plaster is used. 6. In the directions of dosage is based on dosage form of drug and symptom. In acute stage, when papules and vesicles is the main symptom of skin, fumigating and cleansing method, cleansing method, plaster method is used, when erosion, vesicles and exudation the main symptom of skill, cleansing method, wet dressing method, spreading powder method, attaching method, spreading powder method is used, when crust is the main symptom of skin, plaster method is used. In chronic stage, plaster method, rubbing skin method is used.

  • Buildings form interior space when part of an external environment is limited by a physical surface. And, the interior space forms an appearance of building when space-defining elements, such as floor, wall, and roof. An appearance or a form of building has a lot of meanings depending on the physical and psychological conditions, as well as symbolism. Especially, the prevailing meaning of form in the modern age was, "Form follows function," was quite different from the meaning of form in the architectural era of Louis I. Kahn, who asserted "Form always supercedes function," when functional modernism was still existed even after some 50 years later. Existing studies on Louis I. Kahn usually analyzed his architectural terminology and philosophical concepts of Centrality, Light, Order, Form, and Design; or they were focused on an overall plane and the principle of composition. The purposes of this study are: (1) to investigate how the formal composition characteristics of building are expressed on skylights; and (2) to demonstrate that the formal composition characteristics of skylights plays an important role in constructing a whole structure of building in relation with other architectural elements.

  • In recent tissue engineering field, it is being reported that the fabrication of 3D scaffolds having high porous and controlled internal/external architectures can give potential contributions in cell adhesion, proliferation and differentiation. To fabricate these scaffolds, various solid free-form fabrication technologies are being applied. The solid free-form fabrication technology has made it possible to fabricate solid free-form 3D microstructures in layer-by-layer manner. In this research, we developed a multi-head deposition system (MHDS) and used design of experiment (DOE) to fabricate 3D scaffold having an optimized internal/external shape, Through the organization of experimental approach using DOE, the fabrication process of scaffold, which is composed of blended poly-caprolactone (PCL), poly-lactic-co-glycolic acid (PLGA) and tricalcium phosphate (TCP), is established to get uniform line width, line height and porosity efficiently Moreover, the feasibility of application to the tissue engineering of MHDS is demonstrated by human bone marrow stromal cells (hBMSCs) proliferation test.

현대패션에 표현된 한국복식의 전통미 - 1980년대 이후 한국디자이너 작품을 중심으로 - (A Study on Beauty of Traditional Dress Expressed in Korean Fashion Design)

  • The purpose of this study is to clarify the adaptation of beauty of traditional dress depicted contemporary Korean fashion design. For this purpose, the external form and the internal meaning based on 'the double roots' proposed by W$\ddot{o}$lfflin were analyzed in Korean traditional dress. Documentary studies and objective studies were done with descriptive and content analytic methods. And homospatial process was devised in order to develop the traditional identity in contemporary fashion design. The results were as follows: 1. As the external form, H. O. A silhouette, chogori, ch'ima, paji, and po concerning internal type, kaftan, flat form related to structured type were represented. Traditional color sense were love of white, contrasting as well as analogous color harmony shown often in nature phenomena, and temperate achromatic color harmony. Texture were characterized as rough and coarse expressing vividness, fine and smooth expressing delicateness and tenderness. As the internal meaning, the beauty of purity related to nature, tragedy, and symbolism were represented. 2. Since 1980's. Korean fashion designers frequently applied unstructural kaftan form and H silhouette to Korean fashion design, and sought natural and pliable line in whole dress. Use of white and achromatic color harmony as well as use of linnen were prominent. Designers' aesthetic consciousness was pursuit of the beauty of nature. Representative designers who concentrated on expressing traditional beauty were Lee Shinwoo, Sul Yoonhyung, Jin Taiok and others. 3. A homospatial process could be a method in the creative design which enables to express Korean identity in fashion design, and could suggest ideas of new designs full of Korean identity by superimposed and fused imaginery.

A Study on Versatile Chair Design Reflecting Users' Behavior

  • This study is to suggest versatile chair designs that are organically shaped to take individual orientation. This study intends to provide design method to ensure the face of the chair that contacts the body of its user is transformed flexibly to support the body. The movement of human body is not just a behavior but the ways and tools that reflexively express against external stimuli that are sensed and identified by the person. The versatile chair whose users' sitting position is fixed is made by covering the lump form with a piece of cloth ensuring that the content is firmly fixed and by placing the beads-woven wood fabric according to the shape. And then, it is covered with the external cover. The proposed versatile chair designs assume specific forms as follows: First, it is a versatile chair whose user's sitting position can fix. The organically-shaped form that can accept varying postures is made as a mass, which changes into different shapes when human body touches the form so that users can lie down or sit. Due to such transformation, body posture is determined and individual differences in shape changing are all acceptable. Second, it is a versatile chair that reflects the user's position in a fixed chair, where a cloth-wrapper feature is applied to the form a sifit wrapped postures so that a variety of body postures can be accepted. Finally, a versatile chair that reflects the user's position by changing the shape of is covered with forms so that it will be transformed and used in accordance with situations and chair shapes and reflect multiple shapes including round or square ones.

《금궤요략(金匱要略)》 외용제의 임상활용을 위한 제법, 제형 및 독성에 대한 고찰 (A Study on The Manufacturing Method, Formulation and Toxicity for Clinical Use of Topical Agents in Geumgweyoryak)

  • Objectives : The purpose of this literature review is to analyze process of manufacture and formulation and toxicity of Geumgweyoryak(金匱要略)'s external applicants for modern and safe using. Methods : This study used the Geumgweyoryak(金匱要略) reprinted by Zhao Kaimei(趙開美) as basic data for a understanding of the manufacture and formulation and toxicity for external applicants. Among the 25 chapters, the 22 chapters were studied except for the last three chapters, which are known to be written by later writers. Based on the above, Geumgweyoryeok(金匱要略)'s external applicants was analyzed the process of manufacture, formulation and the toxicity. Results : There are 11 types of external applicants of Geumgweyoryak(金匱要略). Washing method(洗法) was used 2 times, Drop method(瀝法) was used 1 time, Smoke method(熏法) was used 2 times, Rubbing method(摩法) was used 1 time, Plaster method(敷法) was used 2 times, Invading method(浸法) was used 1 time, Suppository method (坐法) was used 2 times, Flatiron method(烙法) was used 1 time. According to classified the modern formulation, there are 4 types of powder formulation, 4 types of liquid formulation, 2 types of suppository, and 1 type of Semi-solid formulation. Especially toxic drugs, such as Realgar(雄黃) or Hydrocerussite(鉛粉), should be careful. When Realgar(雄黃) smokes, a toxic substance called AS2O3 can come out. Hydrocerussite(鉛粉) can cause lead poisoning. Lead increases the risk of anemia, dehydration, and lead neuropathy when chronically exposed. Conclusion : We supposed that this study can serve as a basic data to help clinical Korean doctors to use the prescription for external applicants more safely and to easily apply it in the form of external applicants.
