고등학교 가정과 교육에서 보조학습 교재.교구의 활용실태 연구 (A Study on the Use of Supplementary Teaching Materials and Implements in the High School Home Economics Education)

  • This study was conducted to obtain basic materials to improve the teaching method of Home Economics by theoretically looking into the supplementary teaching materials or implements usable in teaching Costume History area. And based on these data, the types and the applications of the supplementary teaching materials or implements highschool owned were examined. The subjects of this study were 111 Home Economics and Housework curriculum highschool teachers who give a lecture in the country by using self-administered questionnaires. SAS program was used to calculate frequency, percentage, average, standard deviation, and $\chi$(sup)2-test analysis. The results of the study were as follows; 1. Most of the highschool teachers used the school expenses for experiments in preparing the supplementary teaching materials or implements. 2. Of the supplementary teaching materials and implements concerning Costume History, visual implements such as slides and pictures were the mostly owned. CD and audio implements as cassette-tapes were not used. 3. Most of the teachers recognized the importance of the audio-visual teaching materials and implements concerning Costume History. 4. Among the audio-visual materials and implements concerning Costume History by which can be made by school teachers of Home Economics and Housework curriculum, the mostly used one was ‘cutting pictorials from magazines and newspapers’, and the next were ‘orbital materials’, and ‘copy the pictorials’, and the least was ‘recording from the radio’. 5. Most of the annual expenses assigned to the department of Home Economics was used in cooking practice, and the least of the expenses was assigned in buying audio-visual teaching materials and implements. 6. Time assigned to the area of Home Economics was for the most part one or two hours per week, and among this, time assigned to the history of western costume and the history ok korean costume was for the most part five to eight hours. 7. The areas that the highschool teachers felt difficulties mostly during clothing and textiles curriculum were ‘textiles’and the next were ‘knitting’, ‘western costume history’, and ‘korean clothing construction’. 8. The difficulties the highschool teachers faced while teaching Costume History were mostly that ‘the pictorials in the text is not fully explainable’, the next were ‘most of the supplementary teaching materials or implements are not owned’, ‘have to explain very much in a short time’, and ‘the lectural explanation is insufficient’. 9. The solution for the difficulties that the highschool teachers faced while teaching Costume History was mostly ‘the information, on which audio-visual materials and implements are distributed in the market, should be easy to obtain’, the next opinions were ‘the school should provide enough experiment and practice expenses to buy audio-visual materials and implements’, and ‘education facilities of the Home Economics Department should be the main aspects in improving the teaching methods and should give special lectures about it’.

서울 지역 장애아어머니의 삶의 질에 영향을 미치는 제 요인에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Factors Affecting the Qualities of Lives in Mothers with Disabled Children in Seoul)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence of the factors such as self-esteem, social supports, socio-economic status of parents, degree of disability in child, stress coping, religion, and sports.exercise on the qualities of lives in mothers with disabled children. Data were collect from 45 institutions(schools from kindergarten to senior-high, special education institutes, and social welfare institutions) by self-report questionnaire, and the subjects of the study were 386 mothers in Seoul whose children were attending the schools or institutions. Findings according to socio-demographic variables are as follows: 1. Mothers with disabled children in this study thought their quality of life as average degree. 2. The younger the mothers and children, the higher the quality of life was. 3. The higher the educational level and monthly income, the higher the quality of life was. 4. There was no statistically significant difference between the existence and nonexistence of spouse, and between the existence and nonexistence of religion as well. Findings analyzed by multiple regression are as follows: 1. Among 7 independent variables 'self-esteem'(${\beta}$=.49, p<.001), 'social supports'(${\beta}$=.15, p<.01), and 'socio-economic status'(${\beta}$=.11, p<.05) were found to be statistically significant in quality of life in mothers, while the rests were found not significant. 2. 'Self-esteem' was found to be the most influencing variable, meaning that the psychological factor such as self-esteem is more important than environmental factors in qualities of lives in mothers. 3. The total amount of explanation of the model was Adjusted R square=.301, so that it can be said about 30% can be explained among total variance of the qualities of lives in mothers with disabled children. Conclusions and recommendations based on the results above are: First, it is strongly recommended to conduct programs promoting self-esteem in mothers with disabled children, and to include 'self-esteem' hereafter in the studies related to qualities of lives in mothers with disabled children. Second, comprehensive and practical countermeasures should to be formulated to back up expenses for education and medical care, purchasing relative tools and equipments, plus helping to find jobs.

'한국 역사 속 과학탐방'에 대한 교사의 인식 (Teachers' Perception about 'Science Field Trip to Korean Historical Sites')

  • 본 연구는 한국 역사 속 과학탐방에 대하여 교사들이 가지고 있는 교육적 가치, 지도방식, 어려운 점에 대한 인식을 알아보는데 있다. "98 과학교육자 큰모임"에 참석한 현직 교사 및 과학교육자 97명을 대상으로 연구가 이루어졌다. 검사도구는 본 연구자들에 의해 개발되어 과학교육전문가 4인으로부터 안면 타당도를 검증받았다. 수집된 자료를 분석한 결과, 한국 역사 속 과학탐방은 교육적으로 매우 가치 있다고 응답하였다. 응답자의 다수가 한국 역사 속 과학탐방이 한국 문화를 이해하고, 탐구과정기능의 습득에 기여할 것이라고 하였다. 또한 발산적 탐구와 협동학습의 기회를 제공하며, 통합교과적이고 종합적인 사고능력을 기르는데 도움을 줄 것이라고 반응하였다. 정규 과학교과 내용과 밀접한 관련이 있고, 과학관련 진로지도 및 생활지도로 활용할 수 있다는 의견을 제시하였다. 기존 과학탐방의 지도경험에 대한 조사를 통해 볼 때, 탐방 전 활동이 거의 없었고 탐방 중에는 교사설명 중심의 활동이 이루어졌으며 탐방 후에는 과학기사나 일기 형식의 작문을 주로 하였다. 이에 비해 교사들이 생각하는 바람직한 한국 역사 속 과학탐방의 지도방식은 학생용 탐방자료나 비디오를 통한 탐방 전 활동, 간단한 안내 후 조별 탐구로 이루어진 탐방 중 활동, 탐방결과에 대하여 발표 토론하는 탐방 후 활동을 강조하였다. 한국 역사 속 과학탐방의 어려운 점으로 교사들은 교수학습자료의 부족과 거리 비용 및 교통문제, 교사의 경험부족 등을 언급하였다. 또한 한국 역사 속 과학탐방이 잘 이루어지기 위해서는 과학탐방 교수학습 자료의 개발과 탐방활동에 대한 정규 교사 연수 과정이 필요하다고 제안하였다.

교합력, 교근과 두개안면골 형태의 관계 : 두부규격방사선사진과 초음파진단영상 분석 (A STUDY OF RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN BITE FORCE, MASSETER MUSCLE AND CRANIOFACIAL MORPHOLOGY : CEPHALOMETRIC & ULTRASONOGRAPHIC ANALYSIS)

  • 교합력과 교근의 두께 및 면적 그리고 두개안면골 형태간의 연관성을 평가하고자 하였다. 성인 141명의 교합력 측정, 측방 및 후전방 두부규격방사선사진 그리고 교근 표층의 초음파진단영상을 촬영한 후, 이들 간의 관계를 통계분석으로 비교, 평가하였다. 교합력과 두개안면골의 형태간에는 남녀 모두 유의한 상관관계가 있으며, 교합력과 교근 간에는 남녀 모두 유의한 상관관계가 없었다. 그러나 교근은 남자의 두개안면골 형태에서 유의한 상관관계를 보였고, 특히 교근의 두께 및 면적이 증가할수록 상악너비가 유의하게 감소하게 나타났다. 이는 남자의 교합력은 심층 교근과 관계가 크고, 여자의 교합력은 표층 교근과 관계가 큰 것이 원인으로 판단된다.

담론적 관점(discursive approach)에서 중1 수학 교과서의 그래프 정의 분석 (A discursive approach to analysis of definition of graph in first year middle school textbooks)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 담론적 관점에서 수학 교과서를 분석하기 위해 선행 연구를 바탕으로 분석틀을 재구성하고, 중1수학 교과서의 '그래프 정의'에서 단어와 시각적 매개체가 생성하는 의미와 그 통합 관계를 분석하는데 적용하는 것이다. 담론적 관점은 Sfard(2008)의 의사소통학적 관점과 Halliday(1985/2004)의 체계기능언어학을 바탕으로 발전된 사회기호학적 관점이 통합된 것으로 이를 바탕으로 본 연구에서는 단어와 시각적 매개체가 생성하는 의미는 교과서에 구현된 수학을 관념적 메타기능이 실현하는 의미 측면과 학생의 수학적 활동의 참여 유도성을 대인관계적 메타기능이 실현하는 의미 측면으로 구분하여 분석하였고, 단어와 시각적 매개체의 통합 관계는 텍스트적 메타기능 측면에서 분석하였다. 그 결과 첫째, 단어의 관념적 의미는 수학 담론의 밀도가 높았을 뿐 아니라 수학적 활동의 주체가 모호하였고 학생 참여를 요구하는 단어의 대인관계적 의미는 사고보다는 주로 행동 측면이 강조되었다. 시각적 매개체가 구성하는 관념적 의미에서는 내러티브 다이어그램이 결여되었고 대인관계적 의미에서는 정보 제공에 질적 차이가 있었다. 둘째, 단어와 시각적 매개체의 통합 관계는 구체화, 설명, 유사, 보완처럼 다양한 방식을 통한 풍부한 수학 의미 형성을 위해 통합 관계의 다양성을 지향할 필요가 있었다. 이러한 결과는 수학 교과서를 분석하는데 의미를 생성하는 도구로서 단어와 함께 시각적 매개체의 사용을 분석하고 단어와 시각적 매개체의 통합 관계를 분석하였기 때문에 담론적 관점에서 교과서 분석의 새로운 분석틀을 제공한 의미가 있다.

남북한 중등학교 수학교육의 통합방안 모색 (A Comparative Study on the Secondary School Mathematics Education of South and North Korea)

  • There have recently been increasing exchanges between South and North Korea in many areas of society, involving politics, economics, culture, education. In response to these developments, research activities are more strongly demanded in each of these areas to help prepare for the final unification of the two parts of the nation. In the area of mathematics education, scholars have started to conduct comparative studies of mathematics education in South and North Korea. As a response to the growing demand of the time, in this thesis we compared the secondary mathematics education in South Korea with that in North Korea. To begin with, we examined the background of education, in North Korea, particularly predominant ideological, epistemological and teaching theoretical aspects of education in North Korea. Thereafter, we compared the mathematics curriculum of South Korea with that of North Korea. On the basis of these examinations, we compared the secondary school mathematics textbooks of South and North Korea, and we attempted to suggest a guideline for researches preparing for the unification of the mathematics curriculum of South and North Korea. As a communist society, North Korea awards the socialist ideology the supreme rank and treats all school subjects as instrumental tools that are subordinated to the dominant communist ideology. On the other hand, under the socialist ideology North Korea also emphasizes the achievement of the objective of socialist economic development by expanding the production of material wealth. As such, mathematics in North Korea is seen as a tool subject for training skilled technical hands and fostering science and technology, hence promoting the socialist material production and economic development. Hence, the mathematics education of North Korea adopts a so-called "awakening teaching method," and emphasizes the approaches that combine intuition with logical explanation using materials related with the ideology or actual life. These basic viewpoints of North Korea on mathematics education are different from those of South Korea, which emphasize the problem-solving ability and acquisition of academic mathematical knowledge, and which focus on organizing as well as discovering knowledge of learners' own accord. In comparison of the secondary school mathematics textbooks used in South and North Korea, we looked through external forms, contents, quantity of each area of school mathematics, viewpoints of teaching, and term. We have identified similarities in algebra area and differences in geometry area especially in teaching sequence and approaching method. Many differences are also found in mathematical terms. Especially, it is found that North Korea uses mathematical terms in Hangul more actively than South Korea. We examined the specific topics that are treated in both South and North Korea, "outer-center & inner-center of triangle" and "mathematical induction", and identified such differences more concretely. Through this comparison, it was found that the concrete heterogeneity in the textbooks largely derive from the differences in the basic ideological viewpoints between South and North Korea. On the basis of the above findings, we attempted to make some suggestions for the researches preparing for the unification in the area of secondary mathematics education.

평면도형의 넓이 지도에 대한 교사의 PCK 분석 (A Study of Teachers' Pedagogical Content Knowledge about Area of Plane Figure)

  • 본 연구에서는 평면도형의 넓이에 대한 교사의 교수학적 내용 지식(PCK)을 설문지와 수업 관찰을 통해서 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 다음과 같은 4가지 결론을 얻을 수 있다. (1) PCK의 '수학 내용 지식' 영역에서 교사는 넓이의 개념, 넓이와 길이의 속성 구분을 정확히 이해하고 배열구조를 지도의 대상으로 인식하여야 한다. (2) PCK의 '수학과 교수 방법 및 평가에 대한 지식' 영역에서 교사는 교과 목표를 넓이의 개념 이해와 공식의 이해를 균형적으로 설정하고 평가해야 한다. (3) PCK의 '수학 학습에 대한 학생 이해 지식' 영역에서 교사는 설명 위주의 오류수정 보다 넓이의 개념의 이해에 대한 활동을 제시해야 한다. (4) PCK의 '수학과 수업 상황에 대한 지식' 영역에서 교사는 교과서에 대한 주체적 의식을 가지고 교과서의 활동을 보완하여야 한다.

초등학교 치아우식 아동의 구강검진 후 관리 실태와 어머니의 구강건강신념과의 관계 (Post-examination Management State of Dental Caries in Elementary School Students in Conjunction with a Mother's Dental Health Beliefs)

  • The objective of this study were to evaluate the relation between post-examination management states of dental caries in elementary school students and a mother's dental health beliefs. We systematically chose 10 elementary school in urban and rural areas of Chungnam Province and determined the first class students of 5 and 6 grade in each school as study subjects. Among 837 participants, 669 students were diagnosed with dental caries after a 1998 periodic dental health examination was answered completely and analysed. The contents of the questionnaire for students were general characteristics, dental health behaviors, notification factors, treatment factors. Their mothers were surveyed by another questionnaire. The contents of the questionnaire for mothers were also general characteristics, dental health behaviors, and dental health beliefs. The result of this study were as follows 1. The prevalence of dental caries was 65.0% and there was no significant difference between urban and rural areas. 2. Meanwhile, 63.8% of students in urban areas knew the examination result through a doctor's explanation, 52.4% of students in rural areas learned through a school notification letter, 82.9% of all the students let their parents know of their dental caries. 3. Among the dental caries group, 36.3% of the students were treated as for treatment, most students in urban areas visited a dental clinic, but those in rural areas visited the dental dept of a public health center as for the treatment time, 35.9% of the students were treated immediately after the examination. 4. 44.9% of those treated answered that they felt they needed treatment; 67.2% of those not treated answered that they considered the treatment as a bother and unnecessary due to no pain. 5. Overall, the scores in the dental health beliefs in mothers were low. Especially among the 5 items of susceptibility and seriousness, the scored were very low but the benefit was high. Logistic regression analysis showed that the treatment of a child's dental caries was significantly associated with low scores of benefit in those untreated and high scores among those treated. Considering these results, health education to stimalate a mother's susceptibility and seriousness in health beliefs and for students to learn the need for treatment, including a more detailed post exam management system at the school level should be considered for a higher treatment rate.

FRBR 모형에 의한 중국어 서지레코드의 저작유형 분석 - 중국국가도서관을 중심으로 - (A Study on the Work Types of Chinese Bibliographic Records Based FRBR Model in the National Library of China)

  • 이 연구는 FRBR 모형의 저작개념에 의한 중국어 서지레코드의 저작유형을 분석하였으며, 중국국가도서관의 OPAC을 통해 "중국도서관분류법(中國圖書館分類法)" 22개 주류마다 100건씩 총 2,200건의 중국어 서지레코드를 무작위 추출하여 FRBR 모형의 저작유형별로 출현빈도를 조사하였다. 분석결과 중국어 서지레코드에 있어 FRBR 모형을 적용할 경우 유용할 것으로 예상되는 저작은 '단순저작'과 '복잡저작'을 합산한 18.6%로 나타났다. 서지적 관계가 일반적으로 복잡할수록 FRBR 모형의 유용성이 높다는 것이 사실이지만, 한 저작에 후속, 개정, 복제, 각색, 비평서 등과 같은 다양한 저작유형을 갖고 있는 저작은 주로 '마르크스-레닌주의'(A)에 소장된 여러 위인의 저작물과 '문학'(I)에 소장된 일부 고전작품, 현대명작 등에 한정되어 있다. 또한 FRBR 모형의 저작개념을 비평 등으로 확대 적용하려면 '군사'(E), '언어, 문자'(H), '문학'(I)과 '종합적 자료'(Z) 등에 우선적으로 적용하는 것이 보다 효과적인 것으로 나타났다.

혈액투석 환자의 삶의 질에 미치는 예측변인 분석 (The Effect of Anticipated Variables on Hemodialysis Patient′s Quality of Life)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of anticipated variables on hemodialysis that was impact patients' quality of life. The subjects of the study were 104 patients who were over 18 years old. They were enrolled at Kidney dialysis unit in General Hospital located in T and M city, Republic Korea. And the duration of treatment was more than 6 months. They all met the research criteria and agreed to participate in the research. The research instrument have 25 questionnaire which were originally Ferrans' (1985) instrument to measure the quality of life for hemodialysis patients and later changed by Lee, Suk-Ja into the 35 items after eliminating repeated contents, the Cronbach's $\alpha$in this study was .87. The stress instrument was measured by 36 items which were modified and supplemented the instrument developed by Kim, Yong-Kyong(15) for hemodialysis patients, and the Cronbach's $\alpha$was .9333. Depression instrument was 20 questions modified BDI(Beck Depression Inventory) to meet hemodialysis patients' conditions, and Cronbach's $\alpha$ was .92. June 25, 1999 and the data was analyzed by SPSS/PC, and the statistical techniques were ANOVA(variables analysis), Scheffe test, Multiple Regression. The findings of this study were as follows: 1. The effect of general characteristics on hemodialysis patients' quality of life, the characteristics showing a statistically, significant difference were the existence of an occupation(t=6.7353, P= .0109), marital status (F=4.3550, P= .0290), economic status (F=4.6475, P= .0118) and presence of care support (F=2..4738, P= .0494). 2. The effect of general characteristics on the patient's stress, the characteristics showing a significant difference were gender (t= 4.1143, p= .0451), education level (F= 4.3550, p= .008), the existence of an occupation (t=8.7498, p= .0038), and presence of care support(F=3.1715, p= .0169). 3. The effects of general characteristics on depression, the characteristics were education level (F=3.7517, P= .0069), the existence of religion(t=9.4843, p= .0027), an occupation (t=15.3745, p= .0002), marital status (F=3.3400, P= .0223) and presence of care support (F=3.7605, p= .0069). 4. The Multiple Regression is used to identify the effect of anticipated variables on the patient's quality of life. The variables were depression (T=-9.656, P=.000), marital status (T=-2.287, P=.0243) and the regression expression was Y=117.62053 - 1.13618Χ$_1$ + 2.66213Χ$_2$$_1$: Depression, Χ$_2$ : Marriage), The explanation of the total regression expression appeared to be 52.578%.
