과학교사의 실험수업 지도능력 향상을 위한 실험연수프로그램 개선에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Improvement in Experiment Training Program to Increase Science Teachers' Ability for Instructing Experiment Class)

  • The purpose of this study lies in finding out a betterment of ongoing experimental training program in science for the secondary science teachers to increase their training ability more effectively. For this, from 2010 July to September, a preliminary study on secondary science experiment training, questionnaire on the satisfaction of 128 secondary teachers in U metropolitan city with the training program were carried out which were contributive to the preparation of a better plan for the training program to be helpful for the teachers at schools. Following are the study results. First, the class theme should be selected by the teachers who participate in the experiment for the year to raise their training ability for experiment class. Second, the direct activity of the teachers' joining in experiment training for the development of experiment training module, and the demonstration with the developed module-used experiment class need to be included to the program Third, the assessment for the demonstration of experiment attitude, the development process of experiment training module, would be more advisable compared with that for written examination for the teachers joined in the experiment training to concentrate more on the experimental activities and to get richer experiment experience As this study results show, the theme selection, class method and assessment method involved in ongoing experiment training need for betterment for the science teachers to apply it at schools and this improved experiment training program proposed by this study is suitable for that under a condition it has to be modified and supplemented to the distinct features of every city and province.

자기평가에 대한 피드백 유형이 중학교 학생들의 과학 개념 이해와 과학 관련 태도에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Feedback Types in Self Assessment on the Students' Science Concept Understanding and Science-Related Attitudes in the Middle School Science)

  • 이 연구는 중학교 과학 수업에서 자기평가를 실시한 후 학생의 학습 과정에 대한 여러 유형의 피드백을 제공하는것이 학생의 과학 개념에 대한 이해와 과학 관련 태도에 있어서 어떤 효과가 있는가를 알아보기 위하여 실시하였다. 이 연구를 위하여 대도시에 소재한 여자중학교 3학년 10개 반 중에서 5개 반은 실험집단, 다른 5개 반은 비교집단으로 하였다. 실험집단 5개 반 중에서 1개 반은 평가지에 교사가 자세한 조언을 적어주고(실험집단 A), 2개 반은 정오식 피드백을 주었으며(실험집단 B), 나머지 2개 반은 평가문항에 대한 교사의 강의식 집단 피드백(실험집단 C)을 제공하였다. 연구에 사용된 검사도구는 과학개념 이해 검사지와 과학 관련 태도 검사지를 사용하였다. 연구결과, 자기평가에 대한 피드백을 제공한 집단이 과학개념 이해도 검사(p<.05)와 과학 관련 태도 검사(p<.01)에서 비교집단에 비해 더 향상된 결과를 보여주었다. 자기평가에 대한 피드백을 제공한 집단 내에서 피드백의 유형에 따라 과학개념의 이해도의 측면에서는 집단간 유의미한 차이(p>.05)를 나타내지 않은 반면, 과학 관련 태도 측면에서는 강의식 집단 피드백을 제공한 실험집단 C의 학생들이 자기평가지에 교사가 자세한 조언을 적어준 실험집단 A에 비해 과학 관련 태도 측면에서 보다 향상된 결과(p<.05)를 보여 주었다. 자기평가에 대한 피드백을 제공한 집단 내에서 자기평가와 피드백의 유형에 대한 학생들의 인식은 대체적으로 긍정적인 반응을 보였다. 즉 자기평가와 피드백이 개념이해와 복습의 측면에서 도움을 준다고 인식하고 있었다. 또 학생들이 메타 인지적 사고과정을 가지게 되고, 아직은 소수에 불과하지만 자기 주도적인 학습을 시도하는 학생도 있음을 알 수 있었다. 그러나 실험집단 A는 실험집단 B와 C에 비해 다소 부정적인 인식을 가진 학생들이 있음을 보여주고 있다. 중학교 과학 수업에서 학생들이 자기평가를 할 때 그 유형에 관계없이 피드백을 제공하는 것이 과학개념 이해와 과학 관련 태도개선에 있어서 긍정적인 결과를 가져온다는 것을 시사한다.

평가기준 활용을 통한 수준별 학습자료 구안.적용이 수학과 학력 신장에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of the Designing and Applying the Level-Based Learing Materials by Assessment Standards on the Achievement Enhancement of Mathematics Course)

  • As a result of carrying out t-test against the learning activity that used the learning materials designed by level, significant disparity was found. Thus, it was found that hte effect of this learning activity became more visible with lapse of time. But the major cause by which there appeared small significant disparity as a result of testing is that the units of experiment were limited and that the period of using the learning materials was not long. In an analysis on the results of interest test, the experimental class also appeared to show the average score that was higher than that of the comparative class by 0.10 after converting a decimal point. The outcome of attitude test was that the experimental class showed a higher average score by 0.11, as a result of converting a decimal point, than that of the comparative class. So, a large number of students showed an improved reaction. But, there seemed some problems of the learning materials or the method of progressing the activity in changing under achievement students or students who avoided studying math. When the effect of the level-based learning activity was investigated, more than 80% of the experimental class’s students showed a positive reaction. Thus, it could be judged that students, who felt some burden at studying math, might be served more largely, not by teacher’s uniform instruction, but by an individual learning using the level-based learning materials that enabled them to do a systematic self-learning for themselves.

초등학교 영재 학생들의 탐구 활동에서 나타나는 논증 과정 평가 및 분석 (An Analysis on the Level of Elementary Gifted Students' Argumentation in Scientific Inquiry)

  • The purpose of this study was to evaluate the level of elementary gifted students' argumentation and examine the special features of argumentation founded in scientific inquiry. 28 students were selected in the special education center for the gifted in K National University. They were organized 8 groups of 3~4 students and engaged in scientific inquiry activity. The researcher wasn't involved in students' inquiry activity and argumentation except for the guiding and introducing their activity. In the first session, each group carried out the experiment 'Putting a heated can in the water' and then, the students discussed to probe their experimental results and build their explanation. In the second session, each group presented their experiment results and evidence from their experiment justifying their claims, and had questions from other groups. The protocol data during 8 groups' argumentations were analyzed using 'Rubric for Scientific Argumentation Assessment' (Yang et al., 2009) in three domains- the form, content and attitude. As a result, in form domain, almost groups were rated 2 points due to their argument without rebuttal on the subcategory of 'composition', but they got a good grade above 3 points in subcategory such as 'claim', 'ground', and 'conclusion'. In content domain, almost groups got points above 3 points. In attitude domain, there were some striking contrast between each groups. Six groups got good score more than 4 points on the subcategory of openness, but two groups, they alleged and got score below 3 point. While the 6 groups of all got 4 points in the aspect of participation, 3 groups got 3 points lower than because they only just asserted and not interact with other groups. Throughout the argumentation, two features were found that; as time goes by, arguments were refined; Students tended to use their prior to knowledge rather than evidence such as experimental data in making claims and conclusions.

창의적 문제해결력 중심의 수학 교육과정 적용 및 효과 분석 (Application and Examination the Effect of mathematics Curriculum to Enhance Creative Problem Solving Abilities)

  • The Purpose of this study is to develop and implement an alternative secondary mathematics curriculum to enhance creative problem-solving abilities. The curriculum consisting of three main elements-content knowledge, process knowledge and creative thinking sills-as developed. Lessons were taught by a problem-based-learning method in an experimental group. In order to examine the effect of the curriculum, performance assessment was developed and used for pre and post.. There were significant group differences in the creative problem-solving abilities, so we could examine the effect of developed program and confirm the group differences in the attitude for lessons. But there were no significant group differences in motive for learning, a study skill and the achievement test.

Impact of Social Consumption Crisis Strategy on Distribution Marketplaces' Relationships

  • Purpose: This paper reviews the attitudes of consumers related to the consumption crisis response strategy (i.e., defensive vs. receptive) that companies implement during crises. Research design, data, and methodology: We discuss the interaction between the crisis response strategy and the consumption crisis type (i.e., corporate ability vs. corporate social responsibility). We used SAS ver. 9.4 software to analyze the results. We applied a 2 × 2 intergroup experimental design to our sample of subjects, who were undergraduate and graduate students at a university in Seoul, South Korea. The three experimental variables considered were the entity's risk response strategy, the crisis type, and public relations strategy. The experiments were conducted by presenting a hypothetical scenario to eight groups. Prior to this experiment, five preliminary surveys were conducted to determine the three variables just mentioned. Preliminary surveys were conducted on the basis of these criteria. For eight selected product lines, 320 undergraduates were required to enter the product lines that are frequently used in the assessment center up to the fourth priority. Results: Analysis of variance revealed that experiments related to crisis response strategy, type of enterprise crisis, and type of public relations message were successful. Conclusions: Our results verify the impact of different types of social initiatives on distribution marketplaces.

명화 감상에 기초한 스토리텔링 중심 예술교육활동이 유아의 그림감상능력과 창의성에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Storytelling-Centered Arts Educational Activities Based on the Famous Painting Appreciation on Young Children's Appreciation Ability of Pictures and Creativity)

  • The purpose of this study is to verify the effects of storytelling-centered arts educational activities based on the famous painting appreciation on young children's appreciation ability of pictures and creativity. The study was conducted with a total of 50 5-year-old young children in two classes of B Day Care Center in the city of J, Jeollabukdo. The children were randomly divided into an experimental group(25) and a control group(25). The storytelling-centered arts educational activities based on the famous painting appreciation was conducted for the experimental group for 12 weeks from April 29, 2013 to July 19, 2013. The activities were composed of 3 steps of 'appreciation-expression-exhibition & assessment' on the basis of 2-week basic units. The appreciation activities were composed basing upon the types of the famous painting appreciation and storytelling, and expression and exhibition & assessment activities were composed of 4 areas of arts(music/movement/language/art). The results of the study are as follows. First, the storytelling-centered arts educational activities based on the famous painting appreciation generally improved young children's painting appreciation abilities in all sub-areas(observation and description/artist's intention of subject expression/mood of a work/material and technique/artistic factors/attitude to the work). Second, the storytelling-centered arts educational activities based on the famous painting appreciation generally improved young children's creativities in all sub-areas(originality/fluency/flexibility/imagination).

자기조절학습 전략을 이용한 교수-학습 효과:과학고 학생들을 중심으로 (Teaching-Learning Effects Using Self-Regulated Learning Strategy: For Students of Scientific High School)

  • 본 연구는 과학계고등학교 11학년 '산화-환원' 단원에 대해 자기조절학습 전략을 활용한 실험수업을 실시한 후, 과학탐구능력, 과학적 태도 및 학업성취도에 대한 교수-학습 효과를 분석하였다. 통제집단에 대해 교과서 및 교사용 지도서에 따라 실험수업을 실시하였으며, 실험집단에 대해서는 자기조절학습 전략을 활용한 실험수업을 실시하였다. 사전검사에서 두 집단 간에 유의미한 차이가 없었으나, 사후검사에서 실험집단의 평균값이 유의미하게 차이가 나타났다. 자기조절학습 전략을 활용하여 실험수업을 처치한 후, 과학고 학생들의 성향에 따른 자기조절학습 요소의 평균값 차이를 조사하였다. 사후검사의 인지조절 및 동기조절에서는 유의미한 차이가 나타났으나, 행동조절에서는 차이가 없었다. 과학탐구능력의 실험설계, 가설설정, 변인통제 및 일반화에 대해 두 집단사이에 유의미한 차이가 나타났다. 까다로운 변인통제가 실험의 성공여부와 직결된다는 생각에, '변인통제'를 신중하게 처리하였다. 이런 경향성은 실험횟수가 진행될수록 자기조절학습 전략에 대한 자신감이 생겼으며, 실험활동을 스스로 통제 조절하려는 노력이 더 적극적으로 나타났다. 이 같은 결과에 의해, 이들 요소에서 유의미한 차이가 생겼을 것으로 생각된다. 자기조절학습 세부요소와 과학탐구능력 사이에 상관성이 유의미하게 나타났으며, 인지요소에서 가장 높게, 행동조절에서 가장 낮은 상관관계를 나타내었다. 과학적 태도에서 두 집단 간에 평균값의 차이가 유의미하게 나타났다. 신중성, 자진성 및 호기심에서 평균값의 차이가 크게 나타났다. 자기조절학습 능력과 과학적 태도 사이에 유의미한 상관관계가 나타났으며, 인지조절과 동기조절에서 유의미한 상관관계가 나타났다. 과학적 태도의 하위변인인 신중성, 자진성 및 호기심에서 높은 상관성을 나타내었다. 학업성취도에 대해 실험집단의 평균점수가 약간 높게 나타났다. 자기조절학습 요소들과 학업성취도 사이에 유의한 상관성이 나타났으며, 인지조절과 동기조절에서 유의미한 상관관계를 나타내었다.

인지장애 노인 시뮬레이션 교육이 간호대학생의 의사소통능력, 학업적 자기효능감, 노인에 대한 태도에 미치는 효과 (Effects of Simulation Education on the Communication Competence, Academic Self-efficacy, and Attitude About the Elderly for Nursing Students: A learning approach based on an elderly-with-cognition-disorder scenario)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of simulation in nursing education based on caring for elderly cognition disorder patients. The education consisted of a caring program for patients that included a process of assessment of a patient's mental status, diagnosis of the patient's health condition, and intervention to address the problems by using therapeutic communication. Methods: A nonequivalent control group pretest-posttest design was used. A total of 69 subjects (undergraduate students) participated in the education and they were assigned to two groups: the experimental group (n=32) and the control group (n=37). Data-gathering structured questionnaires that included communication competence, academic self-efficacy, and attitudes about the elderly. The data were collected from October 2013 to December 2013, and statistical analyses were conducted with-test and t-test using the SPSS 21.0 program. Results: With respect to education, there was significant improvement in communication competence in the experiment group (t=2.41, p=.022) compared with in the control group (t=.69, p=.494). However, there was no statistically significant difference in academic self-efficacy and attitude about the elderly. Conclusion: Simulation-based education should continue to be developed further for better elderly-patient care. Integrated education in particular using a high-fidelity simulator will contribute to improvements in nursing competence in this area.

순환학습모델에 기반한 유아 식생활 프로그램이 영양지식, 식행동, 과학과정기술, 과학적 태도에 미치는 효과 (A Study on the Effectiveness of Dietary Education Program Based on Learning Cycle Model for Young Children's Nutrition Knowledge, Dietary Behavior, Science Process Skill and Scientific Attitude)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 유아의 바람직한 식생활을 형성하기 위해 개발된 순환학습모델에 기반한 식생활 프로그램이 유아의 영양지식, 식행동, 과학과정기술, 과학적 태도에 미치는 효과를 살펴보는데 있다. 이 연구를 위해 G시에 위치한 H어린이집 만 5세반 유아 16명과 만 4세반 유아 중에서 생일이 지나 만 5세가 된 유아 7명을 실험집단으로, G어린이집의 만 5세반 유아 17명과 만 4세반 유아 중 만 5세가 된 유아 7명을 비교집단으로 선정하였다. 프로그램 실시 효과에서 두 집단 간에 의미 있는 차이가 있는지를 알아보기 위하여 SPSS WINDOWS 20.0 프로그램을 사용하여 자료분석을 실시하였다. 유아 식생활 프로그램 실시여부를 독립변인으로, 영양지식, 식행동, 과학과정기술 및 과학적 태도의 사전점수를 공변인으로, 영양지식, 식행동, 과학과정기술 및 과학적 태도의 사후점수를 종속변인으로 하여 공분산분석(ANCOVA)을 실시하였고, 실험집단과 비교집단 각각의 사전 사후 검사시기에 따른 영양지식, 식행동, 과학과정기술, 과학적 태도의 실제적인 향상이 있었는지 확인하기 위해 대응표본 t-test를 실시하였다. 연구결과 실험집단과 비교집단 간에 영양지식, 식행동, 과학과정기술, 과학적 태도의 사전 사후 점수 변화에 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보여, 순환학습모델에 기반한 식생활 프로그램이 유아의 영양지식, 식행동, 과학과정기술, 과학적 태도 증진에 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 보육현장에 적용 가능한 식생활 프로그램을 제시하여 현장 교사가 식생활과 관련하여 겪는 어려움을 지원하고, 식생활과 관련된 변인들과 관련한 연구를 통해 유아기 식생활의 중요성을 제시하며 유아들이 기관에서 교육적으로 의미 있는 식생활을 경험할 수 있도록 하는 기초자료가 될 것으로 본다.
