대규모 지하공동의 파괴거동 예측 및 지반제어를 위한 종합시스템 (Comprehensive Monitoring System for the Prediction of Failure Behavior and the Ground Control of Large Scale Underground Excavation)

  • Comprehensive monitoring system for the safe and economical excavation of underground opening has been established by employing the 3 independent models each of which can i) predict the ultimate convergence, ii) assess the in-situ stresses and the elastic modulus of excavating rock, iii) calculate the time-dependent opening behavior with respect to the face advance rate and support pressure at the equilibrium state. Accuracy of each model has been verified through illustrative examples. The step-by-step procedures of comprehensive monitoring system for analyzing the rock behavior and the optimum support installation has been explained. The capability and applicability of this system to the practical excavation also has been discussed.

  • In this paper, we propose a system which can display panoramic-stereopic image for tele-operating excavator. the system was implemented by using center-viewpoint corresponding algorithm and image mosaic process. We could obtain remarkable result from the survey among the ex-pert of excavator. We also design a control station with RF transfer module, H.264 codec module and suggested algorithm. Especially, our system shows a superb performance on cubic effect and presence sense of a field of excavating work.

  • The hydraulic excavators are mainly applied for excavating, public works, quarrying, etc. In some of the construction site, however, they are used for crane works of relatively light materials, although the crane works by the hydraulic excavators are forbidden by law due to the safety reasons. The major construction equipment companies in forward countries have been developing the new systems, e.g. crane works by the hydraulic excavators, and they are working in the construction site. Therefore, the new system of crane works by the hydraulic excavators should be developed for the domestic construction site in order to prevent the accident. In this paper, the fundamental study and experiment are accomplished for the crane system application on the hydraulic excavators.

압밀도에 따른 굴착시 흙막이벽 수평변위에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Lateral Deformation of Retaining Walls during Excavation with Degree of Consolidation)

  • 본 연구에서는 해안인접지역에 위치하는 연약(해성)점성토지반에서 이루어지는 굴착공사의 조사, 설계 및 연약지반과 굴착공사 시공 중 계측관리를 통하여 수집된 연구지역의 실측데이터를 분석하여, 연약점성토에 사용되는 흙막이벽과 지지공법의 선정 및 적용성, 연약지반 압밀정도에 따른 굴착공사 진행 중 변위크기와 형태 등을 관찰하고 이를 수치해석 결과와 비교하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 연구대상지역의 기반시설 확충을 위한 연약지반 처리가 완료되지 않은 상태에서 굴착공사가 진행될 때 발생된 수평변위의 특성을 분석하였으며, 이를 수치해석에 의한 변위량과 정량적인 비교를 통하여 굴착 공사시 연약지반의 압밀도가 수평변위에 미치는 연관성을 규명하였다. 그 결과, 압밀이 완료된 후 굴착공사를 진행하는 경우가 압밀중인 구간에 비하여 평균적으로 60% 이하의 변위만 발생하는 것으로 분석되어졌다.

  • Earthwork is very equipment-intensive task and researches related to automated excavation have been conducted. There is an issue to secure the safety for an automated excavating system. Therefore, this paper focuses on how to improve safety for semi- or fully-automated backhoe excavation. The primary objective of this research is to develop the core technology for automated object detection in excavation work. In order to satisfy the research objective, a diverse sensing technologies are investigated and analysed in terms of functions, durability, and reliability. The authors developed detecting algorithm for the objects using laser sensor and verified its performance by several tests. The results of this study would be the basis for developing the automated object detection system.

  • The Field Robot means the machinery applied for outdoor tasks in construction, agriculture and undersea etc. In this paper, to field-robotize a hydraulic excavator, we have proposed a robust and systematic controller design method. Disturbance observer is used as inner controller to reshape the excavating system into the linear dynamics of nominal model by compensating coupled nonlinear terms, model uncertainties and external load variations. Using the linear model that is obtained through off-line system identification, a H control scheme is applied to construct a disturbance observer and a servo-controller systematically.

  • Soil nailing system can be mentioned to a method of supporting as the shear strength of in-situ soils is increased by passive inclusions. In the general soil nailing system, facing walls are used in two kind of a lattice concrete block or a cast in placed concrete wall. A case of lattice concrete blocks is used in slow slopes greater than 1:0.7. Also, a case of a cast in placed concrete wall is used in steep slopes less than 1:0.5. The cast in placed concrete walls are constructed to 30cm thick together with a shotcrete facing. In this study, the assembling soil nailing method as a new soil nailing system is proposed. This method is constructed assembly using precast concrete panels. Therefore ability of the construction and quality of the facings can be modified than a usual soil nailing system. Also, this method can be obtained the effects that a global slope stability increase, as precast concrete panels is put on cutting face after excavating a slope.

단양지역의 운방갱도 굴착시 갱도 지보의 필요성 판정에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Evaluation of Necessity for the Support in Case of Excavartion of the Transport Drift at Danyang Site)

  • In order to evaluate the necessity for the support during the excavation of the transport drift and use the data for design applications, laboratory testings of mechanical properties of rock samples and engineering rock mass classifications on this study site were performed. The values of RMR and Q-system are 68 and 11.8, respectively. Since these results were evaluated as good, this rock mass were determined to be unsupported. Full face excavation method was determined to be suitable for excavating this drift. In case of excavation, smooth blasting techniques must be carried out at the wall rock and the crown. However, considering the blast vibration etc. that have an effect on the surrounding rock mass, approximately less than 9kg of explosive charges per blast should be maintained.

Wide Sargasso Sea: An Elegy of Class Conflict in Jamaica

  • This paper is to scrutinize Jean Rhys' Wide Sargasso Sea through a Marxist criticism. While critics were industriously excavating discourses of feminism, post-colonialism, and racism in the novel, they tended to regard the Marxist attribute as supplementary material and to diminish the significance not considering as an independent subject to be examined. However, the novel, in which all the major relationships are based on capital, exemplifies class conflict between the bourgeois and the proletariat. Marx and Engels believe that the foundation of our society is capital and that society evolves through class conflict to obtain more capital, and thus they assert people's relations are the product of the commodification of individuals. Furthering their study, Louis Althusser specifies the power system through the (repressive) state apparatus and the ideological state apparatus. With the theories of the thinkers' above, this paper analyzes the relationship between Annette and Mason, Antoinette and her nameless husband, allegedly Rochester, Rochester and Amelie, and Rochester and Daniel Cosway. This paper offers an alternative reading of a classical feminist and post-colonial text.

  • 현재 건설 산업에서 나타나고 있는 숙련공 부족 현상, 기술자의 고령화 문제, 안전상의 문제 등을 해결하기 위한 대안으로 자동화 건설기계들의 개발 요구가 점점 높아지고 있다. 이러한 요구에 따라 본 연구에서는 효율적인 토공작업을 가능하도록 하고 안전성을 보장할 수 있는 안전관리시스템 개발의 선행연구로서 굴삭기 주변 장애물 탐지를 위한 개념 알고리즘을 개발하여 그 적용방안을 제안하고자 한다. 또한 이를 통해 자동화 굴삭기 개발에 있어 기반기술을 개발하고, 더욱 안전한 건설 환경 조성에 일조할 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.
