효소처리가 KOCC의 특성에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Enzymatic Treatment on KOCC)

  • This study was carried out to evaluate the effects of enzymatic treatment on the characteristics of KOCC. Novozym 342 and Pulpzyme HC were used for this purpose. Enzymatic treatment greatly increased the freeness of KOCC and Novozym 342 was more effective. WRV was improved only when KOCC was treated with 0.1% Pulpzyme HC. Pulpzyme HC was more effective to improve the flexibility of fiber(conformability angle) than Novozym 342. Coarseness of fiber was decreased with the enzymatic treatment. Fines content greatly decreased with 0.01% addition of enzymes. Novozym 342 was more effective than Pulpzyme HC for this purpose. Apparent density, tensile index and tear index decreased with enzymatic treatment, but stiffness increased. Especially the decrease of apparent density, tensile index and tear index by the treatment with Novozym 342 was significant than those of Pulpzyme HC. Therefore Novozym 342 will be suitable for the removal of fines and for bulky sheet, otherwise Pulpzyme HC will be good.

  • Spectrum analysis of surface electromyogram (FMG) signals is an effective approach to the study of localized muscular fatigue during isometric contraction. Many investigators have con firmed the frequency of the EMG signals being lowered during sustained contaction. In this study, the cyclic loading tasks were performed, and a comparison was made for the median power frequency shift pattern of the EMG signals with the sustained contraction of the same load. The median power frequency shift of the EMG signals for the cyclic loading task was found to be a part of that for the sustained contraction. Based on this result, a new muscle fatigue index was computed by normalizing the duration of the sustained contraction. A fatigue index was obtained as a function of exertion level and the work/rest schedule. With the proposed fatigue index, it is possible to evaluate or predict the degree of muscular fatigue for a physically demanding task.

  • In this study, we compared Oxygen Index by ISO 4589-2 with Fire Spread by ISO 5658-2. The result shows that the tset values of Fire Spread such as IT, CFE, Qsb have mutual relations with thoses of Oxygen Index values in some samples. And we found that the tset values of Fire Spread make up for the insufficient points of Oxygen Index has its limits to evaluate the properties of fire for the interior materials of the railroad vehicles.

  • This paper presents an Unified Index which can evaluate a performance of a distribution system based on value-based methodology. Reliability cost and voltage sags cost are calculated for each load point using Reliability Sector Customer Damage Function(SCDF). Aging cost is calculated for each load point using Aging SCDF. Power loss cost and operation cost are calculated for the system. By summation of each cost of load point and system, power quality cost can be obtained. Finally, this paper developed an unified index which can show the performance of a distribution system. Presented method has been applied to a real system, the usefulness of the method has been verified.

  • The management systems of defense projects need to be well-maintained because of huge cost and long-terms of acquisition & operation in conducting defense acquisition. In this paper, we use a structural equation model(SEM) to develop an project management index(PMI) for effective defense project. The concept of a customer satisfaction index is used to assess the PMI for strategic improvement plans for various characteristics of project management. It is expected that our model can be used to evaluate and improve the project management capability of defense acquisition.

  • This study is undertaken to evaluate the characteristics of cross contamination around exterior air-vents. A CFD analysis has been performed to calculate the cross contamination index for five exterior air-vents sizes according to the outdoor air velocity and separation distance of it. From the result of the numerical method, As the outdoor air velocity is increased, the cross contamination index is increased. on the contrary, as the separation distance of exterior air-vents is increased, the cross contamination index is decreased, additionally the cross contamination is affected by the aspect ratio of the size of exterior Air-vents.

학의천을 중심으로 본 자연형 하천복원을 위한 하천자연도 평가 (An evaluation of stream naturalness for Close-to-nature stream restoration in case of Hakui Stream)

  • The purpose of this is to evaluate Hakui Stream Naturalness Index(S.N.I). and to find out stats, problems and opportunities of the Hakui stream by assessment standard. Assessment standard is mainly based on physical structure of stream environment. The purpose evaluating sectors and elements are physical form and structure restoration of stream. To find out assessment standard of stream naturalness index, conceptual frame of assessment standard has been established, for which four sections, for example, longitudinal section, lateral section, stream bottom structure and water environment, have been selected. Overall stream naturalness index of the Hakui stream has been distributed at 3rd to 4th grade, and its assessment index accounted for 3.2 to be 3rd grade, and its mode also did 3rd grade. Stream naturalness index of each section was as follows: Longitudinal section index accounted for 3.6 in average to be 4th grade, and later section index did 3.0 to be 3rd grade, and stream bottom structure index did 3.0 to be 3rd grade, and water environment index did 2.7 to be 3rd grade. Analysis of assessment outcome of stream naturalness index has checked status, Problems and opportunities of corresponding stream. Assessment of stream naturalness index of the study provides useful information for restoration of close-to-nature stream, and furthermore has its meaning in checking problems and opportunities of Hakui stream.

기상학적 가뭄지수와 수문학적 가뭄지수의 비교 (Comparison of Meteorological Drought and Hydrological Drought Index)

  • 본 연구는 기상학적 가뭄지수가 수문학적 가뭄에 대한 모사정도를 검토하였다. 기상학적 가뭄지수 중에서 강수량을 변수로 하는 SPI(Standardized Precipitation Index)와 강수량 및 증발산량을 변수로 하는 SPEI(Standardized Precipitation Evapotranspiration Index)를 이용하였고, 수문학적 가뭄 평가를 위하여 월 총 유입량과 하천수 가뭄지수인 SDI(Streamflow Drought Index)를 계산하여, 최종적으로 기상학적 가뭄지수와 수문학적 가뭄지수와의 상관정도를 분석하였다. 월별 상관계수 비교결과, 지속기간 270일에 기상학적 가뭄지수와 월 총 유입량과 상관정도가 가장 높아서 0.67로 나타났고 기상학적 가뭄지수로 SDI와의 상관정도는 0.72~0.87이었다. 연별 극한값을 비교한 결과, 월 총 유입량의 최저값과 기상학적 가뭄지수의 연관성은 거의 확인되지 않았다. 다만 SDI와 SPEI가 매우 높은 상관정도를 보였다. 기상학적 가뭄지수로 수문학적 극한가뭄에 해석하는 데에 한계가 있는 만큼 수문 가뭄해석이 목적이라면 유량자료가 직접 활용될 수 있는 가뭄지수가 필요하다.

  • Comprehensive assessment of ecological riparian zone is to analyze and evaluate the status of riparian zone ecosystem. The existing problem of the ecosystem can be found through the assessment. The AHP-FUZZY method used in the assessment is based on the hierarchy model of index, grade model of object, and attribution degree of index. Accordingly, the four models have been discussed and presented from the aspect of the stability, landscape, eco-health and eco-safety of riparian zone.

  • This paper proposes a new framework for variability analysis in QFD. The proposed framework considers the uncertainty of the information contained in the house of quality chart and analyzes the variability resulting in the outcome. A new framework provides a dominance index and a difference index for each pairwise ECs. The indices are helpful to evaluate priorities of each pairwise EC.
