This study is for estimating strength of mass concrete by finding out temperature and strength distribution through manufacturing actual model of construction mixed by appropriate mixing ratio, which is selected by result of exciting study and expriment of test-piece. Following result was obtained from experiment of member model to find out strength revelation of high mass concrete.

This paper is concerned with the method of estimating lifetime distribution for field data in warranty period and for a situation where some additional field data can be gathered after the warranty period. Implementing the proposed methods in this paper will result in obtaining the more precise product life time estimation and product improvement.

In this paper, as one of these efforts for making the intelligent data mining system we propose the Associative frame of the memory according to the following three steps. First,the structured frame for performing the main brain function should be made. In this frame, the concepts of learning memory and episode memory are considered. Second,the learning mechanism for data acquisition and storing mechanism in the memory frame are provided. The obtained data are arranged and stored in the memory following the rules of the structured memory frame. Third, it is the last step of processing the inference and knowledge retrieval function using the stored knowledge in the associative memory frame. This system is applied to the area for estimating the purchasing degree from the type of customer's tastes, the pattern of commodities and the evaluation of a company.

We propose laser scanner sensor system based walking pattern and tracking method of multiple human. This system uses laser scanners sensors and is applicable to wide and crowded area such as hospital and medical care center. The primary objective of this research is to promote the development of robust, repeatable and transferable software for security system that can automatically detect, track and follow people in public area. We developed the method of human identification for this system. Our method is following: 1. Best-walking pattern data are obtained by the help of human position and direction data obtained by laser scanners. 2. Human identification is conducted by calculating the correlation between the step length of walking human. It becomes possible to conduct human identification even in crowded scenes by estimating the movements of waling human' feet are periodic. In the experiment in the station, some effectiveness of this method became clear.

In this paper, we deal with a tracking gain-up controller design problem to control effectively the shake of tracking actuator after a track seek. A minimum tracking gain-up open-loop gain can be calculated by estimating the shake of tracking actuator and a desired transient specification is considered to diminish effectively the shake of actuator. A tracking gain-up controller is designed by considering a robust $H_{\infty}$ control problem with a regional stability constraint. The proposed tracking gain-up controller design method is applied to the track-following system of a DVD recording device and is evaluated through the experimental results.

Rib structure has been used to bed and column of machine tool to heighten weight stiffness ratio, cost performance and weight saving. In this paper the bed rib structure was estimated with thermal characteristics. Using superposition principle, machine tool designer can describe every complicated heat generation in the machine tool thermal source. As thermal characteristics, thermal deformation of guide rail and column and Maximum-minimum temperature variation were selected. The size, configuration and direction against the thermal loading surface operated to the thermal characteristics. The DB chart was made following rib structure estimating thermal characteristics. With superposition principle and DB chart, machine tool designer can prognosticate the thermal characteristics without FEM analysis to every bed rib structure.

In this paper, we present a schematic method estimating the tracking vibration quantity occurring in the track-following system of an optical recording device. A tracking loop gain adjustment algorithm is introduced to estimate accurately the tracking vibration quantity in spite of the uncertainties of the tracking actuator, Accordingly, the tracking vibration quantity can be estimated from the tracking error, the controller output, the nominal actuator model, and a compensated gain. An optimal tracking controller can be designed from a minimum tracking open-loop gain calculated by the estimated tracking vibration quantity The proposed vibration quantity estimation and controller design method are applied to the track-following system of an optical recording device and are evaluated through the experimental result.

국내 도로 건설사업의 사업초기단계에서의 개략공사비 산정은 예비타당성조사, 도로업무편람, 투자평가지침에서 제시하는 도로의 평균단가 또는 표준단가를 기준으로 도출되는데 이는 공사비 산정 표준체계 부재 및 기초자료 갱신 평균단가를 적용하여 공사비를 산출하는 방식으로 본 연구의 대상인 특수 교량공사의 특성을 전부 반영하기에 미흡한 실정이다. 또한, 신속한 의사결정이나 대안선택이 결정되는 설계단계에서 소모적이고 획일적인 공사비 산정방식의 한계점을 개선하고 사업초기단계의 개략공사비산정 프로세스의 효율성 및 신뢰도를 높이기 위한 새로운 공사비 산정 모델을 개발이 요구된다. 이에 본 연구에서는 평균건설단가를 적용하여 개략 공사비를 산출하는 기존 방식에서 벗어나 대표공종 기반의 상세물량입력 모델을 구축하였다. 실적 공사비 데이터 및 공종별 원가자료를 기반으로 토목공사 수량산출 지침서 기준 전체 공종내역 중 공사비 누적비율 대비 95%이상을 차지하는 대표적인 공종을 도출하였다. 상부면적당 대표공종기반 단위물량 및 차로수별 공사비단가를 제시하고, 이를 활용하여 교량형식별로 상부면적당 공사비단가를 도출 및 검증을 통해 사업초기단계에서 업무추진 의사결정의 신뢰적 지원 및 효율적인 공사비 산정방식을 도출 하였다.

This study addresses the question as to whether the option prices have useful predictive information on the direction of stock markets by investigating a forecasting power of volatility curvatures and skewness premiums implicit in S&P 500 index option prices traded in Chicago Board Options Exchange. We begin by estimating implied volatility functions and risk neutral price densities every minute based on non-parametric method and then calculate volatility curvature and skewness premium using them. The rationale is that high volatility curvature or high skewness premium often leads to strong bullish sentiment among market participants. We found that the rate of return on the signal following trading strategy was significantly higher than that on the intraday buy-and-hold strategy, which indicates that the S&P500 index option prices have a strong forecasting power on the direction of stock index market. Another major finding is that the information contents of S&P 500 index option prices disappear within one minute, and so one minute-delayed signal following trading strategy would not lead to any excess return compared to a simple buy-and-hold strategy.

오늘날의 방송 및 통신시스템에서 사용되는 응용 프로그램들은 위성시스템 등 다양한 네트워크상에서 상호 연동을 하면서 복잡하게 정보를 융합해나가고 있다. 특히, 방송 및 통신시스템은 기술적으로나 규모면에서 계속 진화함에 따라, 이전에 파악하지 못한 새로운 위협 및 취약점들이 증가하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 방송통신 융합시스템에서 사용 가능한 위험분석 및 경제성 분석 방법론을 제안한다. 먼저, 위험분석에서는 기밀성(저작권), 무결성, 가용성을 기반으로 자산을 우선순위화 하는 방법과 위협 및 취약성 변화에 따른 위험도를 계산할 수 있는 모델링을 제안한다. 두 번째로는 시간에 따라 보안대책 비용에 따른 경제성을 분석할 수 있는 방법을 제시한다.
