UWB 시스템의 간섭 신호에 대한 GPS 보호 비 분석 (Analysis of the Protection Ratio of GPS System in the Presence of RF Interference Radiated by UWB System)

  • 본 논문은 안전 서비스를 제공하는 Global Positioning System(GPS) 보호 비(Ratio of Interference to Noise: I/N) 도출을 위해 Ultra Wide Band(UWB)로부터 GPS 간섭 영향을 분석하였다. GPS 측위 오차 2.5 m 이하를 만족하기 위한 UWB 송신기와 GPS 수신기 사이의 최소 보호 거리를 산출하였고, 최소 결합 손실 방법(Minimum Coupling Loss: MCL)을 이용하여 측위 오차를 만족하는 UWB 송신기와 GPS 수신기 사이의 보호 거리 값에 근거하여 GPS 시스템의 보호비(I/N)를 도출하였다. 그 결과, 측위 오차 2.5 m 이하를 만족하기 위한 GPS 보호 거리는 10 m 이상으로 계산되었고, 이를 만족하기 위한 GPS 보호비(I/N)는 -20 dB 이하로 도출되었다. 제안된 GPS 시스템 보호비는 국제전기통신연합(ITU-R)에서 제안한 GPS 시스템 중 안전 서비스에 해당하는 보호비(I/N)를 만족시킴을 확인하였다. 또한, 본 논문을 통해 얻어진 GPS 보호 비의 결과는 안정적인 국내 GPS 시스템 운용을 위한 기준으로 이용될 수 있다.

  • We have developed a current range extension method to obtain the ratio error and phase displacement of a current transformer (CT) by using absolute evaluation method and two different CTs. The method was applied to CTs under test with the current ratios in the range of 5,000 A / 1 A - 20,000 A / 1 A. The ratio error and phase displacement of the CT under test obtained in this study are consistent with those measured at the national institute in Germany using the same CT under test within an expanded uncertainty (k = 2) in the overall current ratios.

PTR의 붓스트랩 신뢰구간 (Bootstrap Confidence Intervals of Precision-to-Tolerance Ratio)

  • ANOVA is widely used for measurement system analysis. It assumes that the measurement error is normally distributed, which may not be seen in certain industrial cases. In this study, the exact and bootstrap confidence intervals for precision-to-tolerance ratio (PTR) are obtained for the cases where the measurement errors are normally and non-normally distributed and the reproducibility variation can be ignored. Lognormal and gamma distributions are considered for non-normal measurement errors. It is assumed that the quality characteristics have the same distributions of the measurement errors. Three different bootstrap methods of SB (Standard Bootstrap), PB (Percentile Bootstrap), and BCPB (Biased-Corrected Percentile Bootstrap) are used to obtain bootstrap confidence intervals for PTR. Based on a coverage proportion of PTR, a comparative study of exact and bootstrap methods is performed. Simulation results show that, for non-normal measurement error cases, the bootstrap methods of SB and BCPB are superior to the exact one.

CDMA System에서 협대역 간섭제거 적응 상관기에 관한 연구 (A Study On Adaptive Correlator Receiver with Narrow-band Interferance in CDMA System)

  • Adaptive correlator receiver with neural network based on complex multilayer perceptron is persented for suppressing interference of narrow-band of direct spread spectrum communication systems. Recursive least square algorithm with backpropagation error is used for fast convergence and better performance in adaptive correlator scheme. According to signal noise and transmission power, computer simulation results show that bit error ratio of adaptive correlator using neural network improved that of adative transversal filter of direct sequence spread spectrum considering of jamming and narrow-band interference. Bit error ratio of adaptive correlator with neural network is reduced about 10-1 than that of adaptive transversal filter where interference versus signal ratio is 5dB.

Comparative analysis of damping ratio determination methods based on dynamic triaxial tests

  • Various methods for determining the damping ratio have been proposed by scholars both domestically and abroad. However, no comparative analysis of different determination methods has been seen yet. In this study, typical sand (Fujian standard sand) and cohesive soils were selected as experimental objects, and undrained strain-controlled dynamic triaxial tests were conducted. The differences between existing damping ratio determination methods were theoretically compared and analyzed. The results showed that the hysteresis curve of cohesive soils had better symmetry and more closely conformed to the definition of equivalent linear viscoelasticity. For non-cohesive soils, the differences in damping ratio determined by six methods were significant. The differences decreased with increasing confining pressure and relative density, but increased gradually with increasing shear strain, especially at high shear strains, where the maximum relative error reached 200%. For cohesive soils, the differences in damping ratio determined by six methods were relatively small, with a maximum relative error of about 50%. Moreover, they were less affected by effective confining pressure and had the same changing trend under different effective confining pressures. The damping ratio determination method has a large effect on the seismic response of soils distributed by non-cohesive soils, with a maximum relative error of about 15% for the PGA and up to about 30% for the Sa. However, for soil layers distributed by cohesive soils, the damping ratio determination method has less influence on the seismic response. Therefore, it is necessary to adopt a unified damping ratio determination method for non-cohesive soils, which can effectively avoid artificial errors caused by different determination methods.

  • The performance of turbo code is improved by updating extrinsic information. The bit patterns are categorized by the transition characteristics of extrinsic information in this paper. And the distribution of these patterns is surveyed according to signal-to-noise ratio. Based on the results, the dominant error pattern is determined at high signal-to-noise ratio range. Thus, it is expected to improve the error performance in the error floor region by correcting the dominant error pattern which is found in this paper.

  • We established a system to evaluate the ratio error and phase angle error of electronic voltage transformer using high voltage capacitance bridge and standard capacitors. The uncertainty of evaluation system is about 0.005% in ratio error and 1.5 min in phase angel error.

  • 동일 채널 간섭 및 임펄스 잡음 환경하에서 QAM 시스템의 특성을 오율의 관점에서 연구했다. 반송파대 잡음전력비, 반송파대 간섭파 전력비, 임펄스 지수 및 신호와 간섭파 간의 위상차의 함수로써 나타낸 L-level QAM신호의 오율식을 도출하여 16-QAM에 대한 수치계산을 하여 오율특성을 그래프로 보였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 다중경로 라이시안 페이딩 채널에서 DS-CDMA 시스템의 반송파 회복 선호가 불안전할 때 BPSK와 QPSK의 에러성능을 개선한다. 이 경우에 반송파 위상 추정 에러가 있는 환경에서 라이시안 페이딩을 극복하기 위하여 MRC(Maximal Ratio Combining) 다이버시티와 컨벌루션 부호화 기법을 사용하여 시스템 성능 분석을 하였다. 분석의 결과 MRC 다아버시티와 컨벌루션 부호를 적절히 사용하면 위상 에러에 의한 성능 저하률 상당히 줄 일 수 있다는 것을 알 수 있었다.

Improvement of OPW-TR Algorithm for Compressing GPS Trajectory Data

  • Massive volumes of GPS trajectory data bring challenges to storage and processing. These issues can be addressed by compression algorithm which can reduce the size of the trajectory data. A key requirement for GPS trajectory compression algorithm is to reduce the size of the trajectory data while minimizing the loss of information. Synchronized Euclidean distance (SED) as an important error measure is adopted by most of the existing algorithms. In order to further reduce the SED error, an improved algorithm for open window time ratio (OPW-TR) called local optimum open window time ratio (LO-OPW-TR) is proposed. In order to make SED error smaller, the anchor points are selected by calculating point's accumulated synchronized Euclidean distance (ASED). A variety of error metrics are used for the algorithm evaluation. The experimental results show that the errors of our algorithm are smaller than the existing algorithms in terms of SED and speed errors under the same compression ratio.
