  • This paper proposes power qualify assessment using Markov Chain applied to Ergodic theorem. The Ergodic theorem introduces the state of aperiodic, recurrent, and non-null. The proposed method using Markov Chain presents very well generated harmonic characteristics according to the traction's operation of electric railway system. In case of infinite iteration, the characteristic of Markov Chain that converges on limiting probability Is able to expected harmonic currents posterior transient state. TDD(Total Demand Distortion) is also analyzed in expected current of each harmonic. The TDD for power quality assesment is calculated using Markov Chain theory in the Inceon international airport IAT power system.

  • We study the metrical and topological pressure for flows without fixed points on a compact metric space, and get the results as follows: (1) The metrical pressure with respect to an ergodic measure can be defined by (t, $\varepsilon$)-spanning sets. (2) The topological pressure is the supremum of metrical pressures with respect to all ergodic measures. (3) The properties that the topological pressure is zero, nonzero, finite or infinite respectively are invariant under weak equivalence.

  • In this paper, we present a performance analysis of large-scale multi-input multi-output (MIMO) systems for wireless backhaul networks. We focus on fully connected N nodes in a wireless meshed and multi-hop network topology. We also consider a large number of antennas at both the receiver and transmitter. We investigate the transmission schemes to support fully connected N nodes for half-duplex and full-duplex transmission, analyze the achievable ergodic sum rate among N nodes, and propose a closed-form expression of the achievable ergodic sum rate for each scheme. Furthermore, we present numerical evaluation results and compare the resuts with closed-form expressions.

  • This paper considers the multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) system with linear minimum mean square error (MMSE) detection under ideal fast fading. For $N_t$ transmit and $N_r({\geq}N_t)$ receive antennas, we derive the achievable ergodic capacity of MMSE detection exactly. When MMSE detection is considered in a receiver, we introduce a different approach that gives the approximation of a MIMO channel capacity at high signal-to-noise ratio (SNR). The difference between the channel capacity and the achievable capacity of MMSE detection converges to some constant that depends only on the number of antennas. We validate the analytical results by comparing them with Monte Carlo simulated results.

  • A hybrid free-space-optical/radio-frequency (FSO/RF) communication system is considered, with the help of amplify-and-forward (AF) relaying. We consider various weather conditions to investigate their effects on the system's performance. We begin by obtaining the cumulative distribution function and probability density function of the end-to-end signal-to-noise ratio for the AF dual-hop FSO communication system with RF backup link. Then, these results are used to derive closed-form expressions for the outage probability, average bit-error rate, and average ergodic capacity. The results show that the considered system efficiently employs the complementary nature of FSO and RF links, resulting in impressive performance improvements compared to non-hybrid systems.

  • In this paper, we intend to study the energy efficiency (EE) optimization for a simultaneous wireless information and power transfer (SWIPT)-based distributed antenna system (DAS). Firstly, a DAS-SWIPT model is formulated, whose goal is to maximize the EE of the system. Next, we propose an optimal resource allocation method by means of the Karush-Kuhn-Tucker condition as well as an ergodic method. Considering the complexity of the ergodic method, a suboptimal scheme with lower complexity is proposed by using an antenna selection scheme. Numerical results illustrate that our suboptimal method is able to achieve satisfactory performance of EE similar to an optimal one while reducing the calculation complexity.

  • With the assistance of non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA), the spectrum efficiency and the number of users in cloud radio access network (CRAN) can be greatly improved. In this paper, the system performance of NOMA-assisted CRAN is investigated. Specially, the outage probability (OP) and ergodic sum rate (ESR), are derived for performance evaluation of the system, respectively. Based on this, by minimizing the OP of the system, a suboptimal power allocation (PA) scheme with closed-form PA coefficients is proposed. Numerical simulations validate the accuracy of the theoretical results, where the derived OP has more accuracy than the existing one. Moreover, the developed PA scheme has superior performance over the conventional fixed PA scheme but has smaller performance loss than the optimal PA scheme using the exhaustive search method.
