한국십진분류법의 환경학 분야 개선방안에 관한 연구 (A Study on Improvements in the Korean Decimal Classification System for Environmental Studies)

  • 본 연구는 환경학의 학문적 특성과 연구영역을 고찰하고, 환경 분야에 관한 한국연구재단의 연구분야 분류표 및 KCI 등재 학술지를 보유한 학회, KDC, DDC, NDC를 비교 분석하였으며, 이를 토대로 KDC의 환경학 분야의 분류 체계를 개선할 수 있는 방안을 제시하였다. 먼저 환경철학, 환경사회, 환경교육, 환경독성, 환경건축, 지리환경을 각각 철학, 사회학, 교육학, 약리학, 건축학, 지리학 내 하위분야로 KDC의 본표에 추가하고, 표준세구분표의 -027 보조기법 및 절차를 -0276 녹색기술, 환경 기술로 세분 전개하여 환경에 관한 측면이 집중될 수 있도록 하였다. 그리고 환경법 및 환경행정에 대한 분류기호를 재정비하여 각각 법학, 행정학 내 하위분야로 설정하여 분류자와 이용자의 혼란을 방지하도록 하였다.

환경평가를 위한 지표의 가중치 산정방법 결정 모형 (A Determinant Model for Methods to Calculate the Weighted Value of Each Indicator for Environmental Evaluation)

  • This study aims to propose a determinant model to select a method on calculating weight of each indicator for environmental evaluation. According to analyzing and comparing with three types of methods for calculating weights which are usually used to evaluate environment with indicators, the weights which were obtained by each type were all different from each other. This means that a differential weighting method must be applied to each of environmental evaluation studies. Therefore, a determinant model is required to determine weight-calculating methods. Three types of weighting methods, such as weighting by importance degree, weighting by eigen-value and weighting by analytic hierarchy process, were compared. Under the necessity, a determinant model was drawn for selecting a compatible method to calculate weights of indicators in environmental evaluation.

경험중심의 환경교육활동이 유아의 환경보존에 대한 인식에 미치는 효과 (The Effects of Field-trip Based Environmental Education on Young Children's Environmental Literacy)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of field-trip based environmental education on young children's environmental literacy. The subjects for the study Were the 40 children of five years old at two nursery centers in province. The questionnaire and checklist for parents and the children developed by the researcher were used in this study. The conclusion were as follows. First, the care center environmental education improved the young children's saving, and anti-pollution depending on their mother is reported. Second, the care center environmental education improved the young children's saving, recycling and anti-pollution depending on their teacher is reported. Results showed that the field-trip based environmental education improved environmental literacy.

측정 방법에 따른 PM2.5 농도 비교 (Comparison of PM2.5 Concentrations by Measurement Method)

  • $PM_{2.5}$ concentrations were measured using a cyclone, impactor (the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency well impactor ninety-six, WINS) and optical particle counter (OPC) at a campus site located in Yongin for the period August 2014 through March 2017. The concentrations from cyclone (Y) were generally higher than those from impactor(X); the best-fit line was Y=1.22X+5.64. The ratios of $PM_{2.5}/PM_{10}$ ranged from 0.61 to 0.66 when $PM_{2.5}$ concentrations from cyclones in selected studies were converted into those from impactors using a regression equation in this study. The slope of the best-fit line between OPC and impactor was close to 1 at 0.95, while that between OPC and cyclone was 0.72. After sampling, the flow rate in the low-volume air sampler with cyclone decreased by 3% on average, which did not have a significant effect on measured concentrations.

  • Floating solar power markets are rapidly growing worldwide. The main policy instrument utilized to expand renewable energy use in foreign countries with many floating solar power installations is Feed-in-Tariffs (FITs). Foreign countries apply FIT to projects that have a secured grid connection, and lately, there has been a change in the direction of introducing or expanding auction systems. Vietnam and Taiwan give higher FIT to floating solar installations than land solar ones, and China, Vietnam, and Taiwan have higher FITs for certain regions. Compared to foreign countries where large-scale floating solar power installations have been installed, Korea has utilized Renewable Energy Certificate (REC) weights for residents' participation are provided additionally under the Renewable Portfolio Standard (RPS). In contrast to Korea, where residents' participation and benefit profit sharing are emphasized, the Netherlands provides opportunities for local residents to participate in floating solar power projects through cooperatives to improve the residents' acceptance.

  • We analysed current elementary and secondary school curriculum and subjects of social studies and ethics focused on environmental education. The criteria of content analysis is what are the keynotes of environmental education (environmentalism or ecology). In lower grades, most of curriculum and subjects are described on the standpoint of ecology. But in upper grades, environmentalism becomes the keynotes of environmental education. Ethics curriculum and subjects are constructed on the basis of ecology, On the other hand social studies and its curricula are written out skewed to the environmentalism. Overall, it seems that environmentalism and ecology are scattered in curriculum and subjects of social studies and ethics without coherent keynotes.

해상풍력 입지 선정 과정에서 복합적 갈등의 제도적 해결방안 - 다층적 거버넌스 관점에서 (Institutional Solution to Complex Conflicts in the Site Selection Process of Offshore Wind Power - from a Multi-level Governance Perspective)

  • Several offshore wind power conflicts occur due to the problems in which the site selection process led by private operators is improperly managed. To review the institutional improvement measures that solve this problem, domestic and foreign institutions and operational cases were comparatively analyzed, focusing on key actors from the multi-level governance perspective. First, the status of the site selection process in the Republic of Korea, major issues in stakeholder conflicts, and discussions on the planned site system-related laws (draft) were reviewed. Next, the site selection process and relevant cases in Germany, the Netherlands, and Japan were analyzed. In all these countries, site selection is done by the central government. In Germany and the Netherlands, maritime-related ministries establish overall offshore wind power site plans and conduct strategic environmental assessments for these plans. Futhermore, in the process of determining each individual site, extensive site investigation including environmental assessments are conducted. This aspect needs to be supplemented in the discussion on the direction of institutional improvement in the Republic of Korea.

환경 교수-학습 절차 모형 개발을 위한 환경교육의 현장 적용 지도 사례 분석 (The Analysis of Case Studies for developing model of Instructional procedure in Environmental Education)

  • Since 1970', the international community has displayed a heightened consciousness concerning the Earth environment and Environmental Education has became to be as survival strategies for the environment and human life. For developing the model of instructional procedure for educating environmental behaviors in environmental education, this study analyzed the objectives, characteristics, contents, instructional methods and instructional procedures of case studies that were awarded the first prize of the Contest of the Case Study in Korea that were had charged by KFTA. The main results of this study were as follows :(1) the more objectives for environmental education were focused on “formulating values and attitudes for the environment”, some objectives for “skills” need to investigate or solve the environmental issues were found, and some objectives for “environmental behaviors”. (2) the more contents of environmental education were focused on “environmental pollutions” (3) the more instructional methods for environmental education used for “investigating or experiment” to solve the environmental issues or problems, some methods for “taking actions for the environment”. (4) the most of case studies were used the model of environmental instruction that were developed by KEDI in 1988. Conclusionally, This study suggested that you have to emphasis on level of responsible citizen behaviors to resolve the environmental issues or problems in the environmental instructional procedures.

개발도상국의 환경영향평가제도 비교분석 (Comparative Analysis of Environmental Impact Assessment System in Developing Countries)

  • The choice of economic development over environmental protection has been used to explain the decline in the quality of the environment in developing countries. The authors reject this explanation and propose a theory of negligence to explain this decline. They point to the advantages of environmental impact assessments in dealing with the problem of negligence and presents case studies from four countries. Organizational models for Environmental Impact Assessments in Developing Countries are proposed as useful policy measures.

Modeling Species Distributions to Predict Seasonal Habitat Range of Invasive Fish in the Urban Stream via Environmental DNA

  • Species distribution models are a useful tool for predicting future distribution and establishing a preemptive response of invasive species. However, few studies considered the possibility of habitat for the aquatic organism and the number of target sites was relatively small compared to the area. Environmental DNA (eDNA) is the emerging tool as the methodology obtaining the bulk of species presence data with high detectability. Thus, this study applied eDNA survey results of Micropterus salmoides and Lepomis macrochirus to species distribution modeling by seasons in the Anyang stream network. Maximum Entropy (MaxEnt) model evaluated that both species extended potential distribution area in October compared to July from 89.1% (12,110,675 m2) to 99.3% (13,625,525 m2) for M. salmoides and 76.6% (10,407,350 m2) to 100% (13,724,225 m2) for L. macrochirus. The prediction value by streams was varied according to species and seasons. Also, models elucidate the significant environmental variables which affect the distribution by seasons and species. Our results identified the potential of eDNA methodology as a way to retrieve species data effectively and use data for building a model.
