수돗물과 생물막의 세균분포를 통한 안전성 조사 (Safety Investigation of Tap Water and Biofilm by Isolated Bacteria)

  • For investigation of the food safety and influence of biofilm on the bacterial quality of tap water, it was detected by selective media, and identified by API kit and MIDI system. Biofilm and effluent showed much more colonies than influent. Although there were many presumptive positive colonies, no pathogenic bacterium detected. However opportunistic pathogens, such as Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Aeromonas species, and members of family Enterobacteriaceae were detected. Compared to influent, biofilm and effluent showed more diverse bacteria. This study implies that there would be the negative influence of biofilm on the bacterial qualities of tap water.

  • The first Environmental Impact Assessment(EIA) in Korea was carried out for Electric Power resource development. This study includes of the method and procedure of pre-Environmental investigation and EIA for Electric Power resource development. Through the analysis of these we make some conclusions for the improvemental and effective method of impact prediction, the environmentally sound and sustainable development of the earth(ESSD) and the collection of public opinions.

선형사업에 대한 환경영향평가 시 대기질 예측치와 실측치의 정합성 분석 - PM10과 NO2를 중심으로 - (Consistency Analysis between Predicted and Measured PM10 and NO2 Air Quality During Environmental Impact Assessment of Linear Construction Projects)

  • 대기오염이 국제적으로 해결해야 하는 공통과제가 되었으며 국내에서는 지나친 대기오염을 예방하기 위해 개발 사업 이전에 환경영향평가를 통해 대기질 영향을 예측하고 사업 진행 이후에는 사후환경영향 조사를 통해 대기질을 관리하고 있다. 해당 데이터를 확인하고 정합성을 분석하여 조사과정과 영향 예측기준 등에 대한 개선 방향을 제시하고자 하였다. 운영 시 측정까지 완료된 2017년에서 2019년 사이의 환경영향평가 대상 사업 중 선형사업의 공사 시 농도를 대상으로 연구를 진행하였다. 분석 결과는 크게 데이터를 비교하여 환경영향평가 예측치의 대기오염 기준 하향, 5년 이상 장기사업은 오염물질 배출 기준 등을 강화, 현황조사 시 농도가 높게 실측되는 1분기와 2분기를 포함하는 개선방안과 정합성 분석을 통해 대기질의 과대 추정을 방지하기 위해 투입되는 건설장비의 종류나 사업 조건들을 설정하여 상황에 맞는 적합한 최대 배출농도를 예측하는 방향을 제시하였다. 본 연구는 데이터를 활용하여 환경영향평가 과정의 현황을 파악하고 그로부터 대기질 유지를 위한 규정이나 조사 방법 등 개선이 필요한 요소들을 파악하여 개선방안을 제안했다는 데 의의가 있다.

환경보건종합계획을 통해 살펴본 환경보건정책: 지난 10년과 향후 10년 (Environmental Health Policies for the Past and Coming Decade in South Korea)

  • This paper discussed environmental health policies for the past and coming decade by reviewing the First Comprehensive Environmental Health Plan (2011~2020) and introducing the Second Comprehensive Environmental Health Plan (2021~2030). The major achievement of the First Comprehensive Environmental Health Plan was the establishment of receptor-oriented environmental health policies. However, the main limitations were insufficient policy support for relief and/or recovery from environmental pollution damage and low public awareness of environmental health policies. The Second Comprehensive Environmental Health Plan presents the following major policy tasks: establish an omnidirectional environment health investigation and monitoring system, provide customized environmental health services, improve the environmental health damage relief and recovery system, and promote regional environmental health policies. The Second Plan has a clear distinction from the First Plan in that it expands the field of environmental health from the prevention and management of environmental risk factors to proactive damage response and recovery, which will effectively contribute to alleviating the burden of environmental disease.

목재 폐기물 재활용의 의의 및 필요성에 대한 고찰 (Investigation on the Significance and Necessity for Recycling of Wood Wastes)

  • In our country, most of the wood resources are imported. We faced a continuous rising of wood price by export country's some conditions and excess rising of transport charge, also a shortage of structural size members. In these situation, recycling or reuse of wood residues and wastes under wood processing industry, building construction and demolition is not a option but a prerequisite. In our country, there is a dearth of data on recycling or reuse of wood residues and wastes, so the investigation on the necessity of recycling or reuse of wood residues and wastes was conducted by using the foreign data and documents. First of all, fields and actual conditions for the domestic wood processing industry were surveyed. Then, kinds and signification of wood residues and wastes were organized. Later, the necessity and the signification of recycling or reuse of wood residues were investigated, and postulations for effective recycling and reuse were suggested. Above all, the necessity of grading standards for reuse or recycling and some important consideration for developing grading standards were emphasized. At last, foreign research tendencies and some applications on recycling or reuse of wood residues and wastes were supplemented.
