추출 공정에 따른 Camellia sinensis 오일의 물리화학적 특성에 관한 연구 (Effect of Extraction Process on the Physicochemical Characteristics of Seed Oil of Camellia sinensis)

  • 본 연구는 녹차씨의 다양한 용도개발을 위한 기초자료를 얻기 위해 추출방법에 따른 녹차씨유의 물리화학적 특성 및 저장에 따른 안정성 테스트를 하였다. 녹차씨유의 수율은 SGS법을 이용할 경우 수율이 가장 높게 나타났고 비중은 추출방법에 관계없이 $0.91{\sim}0.94g/cm^{3}$ 범위였다. 명도는 SG법을 이용할 때가 가장 밝았으며, 적색도는 PRGS법을 이용할 경우가 가장 높게 나타났고 황색도의 경우는 SG법을 이용할 경우가 가장 높았다. 여러 지방산 중에서 C16 : 0, C18 : 1, 및 C18 : 2가 농도가 가장 높았다. 특히 C18 : 1 농도는 PGS (43.35%) > SGS (42.7%) > SG (39.0%)법의 순으로 다른 지방산에 비해 높은 수준이었다. 포화 지방산 농도는 SG (40.46%) > PGR (31.49%) > SGS (29.96%)법 순이었고 불포화 지방산의 경우는 SGS (69.9%) > PGR (68.39%) > SG (59.41%) 법 순이었다. SGS 및 SG법에 의해 추출된 녹차씨유의 산가는 저장기간이 10일 이후부터는 $6{\sim}8mgKOH/g$ 범위였다. 그러나 PGR법에 의해 추출된 녹차씨유의 산가는 저장기간과 비례하여 저장 60일 후에 49.3 mgKOH/g였다. SGS 및 SG법에 의해 추출된 녹차씨유의 과산화물가는 저장기간 10일부터 60일까지는 60~100 mEq/g 범위였다. 그러나 PGR법에 의해 추출된 녹차씨유의 과산화물가는 저장기간이 10일에서 30일로 증가할 경우 평균 60에서 240 mEq/g로 증가했다. 녹차씨유의 산패축진 작용도는 추출방법에 관계없이 $Fe^{2+}$ > $Cu^{2+}$ > $Cr^{2+}$ > $Zn^{2+}$ > $Ni^{2+}$의 순서로 나타났다. 특히 $Fe^{2+}$이 함유된 녹차씨유에 BHA을 첨가할 경우 과산화물가는 평균 60%가 감소하였고 $Cu^{2+}$의 경우는 평균 63%가 감소하였다. 이상의 결과는 녹차(Camellia sinensis) 씨유는 화장품, 세제, 그리고 식의약품 재료로써 가치가 있다고 사료된다.

연구활동종사자 작업환경측정 결과 및 제도개선 방향 (Work Environment Measurement Results for Research Workers and Directions for System Improvement)

  • Objectives: The characteristics of research workers are different from those working in the manufacturing industry. Furthermore, the reagents used change according to the research due to the characteristics of the laboratory, and the amounts used vary. In addition, since the working time changes almost every day, it is difficult to adjust the time according to exposure standards. There are also difficulties in setting standards as in the manufacturing industry since laboratory environments and the types of experiments performed are all different. For these reasons, the measurement of the working environment of research workers is not realistically carried out within the legal framework, there is a concern that the accuracy of measurement results may be degraded, and there are difficulties in securing data. The exposure evaluation based on an eight-hour time-weighted average used for measuring the working environment to be studied in this study may not be appropriate, but it was judged and consequently applied as the most suitable method among the recognized test methods. Methods: The investigation of the use of chemical substances in the research laboratory, which is the subject of this study, was conducted in the order of carrying out work environment measurement, sample analysis, and result analysis. In the case of the use of chemical substances, after organizing the substances to be measured in the working environment, the research workers were asked to write down the status, frequency, and period of use. Work environment measurement and sample analysis were conducted by a recognized test method, and the results were compared with the exposure standards (TWA: time weighted average value) for chemical substances and physical factors. Results: For the substances subject to work environment measurement, the department of chemical engineering was the most exposed, followed by the department of chemistry. This can lead to exposure to a variety of chemicals in departmental laboratories that primarily deal with chemicals, including acetone, hydrogen peroxide, nitric acid, sodium hydroxide, and normal hexane. Hydrogen chloride was measured higher than the average level of domestic work environment measurements. This can suggest that researchers in research activities should also be managed within the work environment measurement system. As a result of a comparison between the professional science and technology service industry and the education service industry, which are the most similar business types to university research laboratories among the domestic work environment measurements provided by the Korea Safety and Health Agency, acetone, dichloromethane, hydrogen peroxide, sodium hydroxide, nitric acid, normal hexane, and hydrogen chloride are items that appear higher than the average level. This can also be expressed as a basis for supporting management within the work environment measurement system. Conclusions: In the case of research activity workers' work environment measurement and management, specific details can be presented as follows. When changing projects and research, work environment measurement is carried out, and work environment measurement targets and methods are determined by the measurement and analysis method determined by the Ministry of Employment and Labor. The measurement results and exposure standards apply exposure standards for chemical substances and physical factors by the Ministry of Employment and Labor. Implementation costs include safety management expenses and submission of improvement plans when exposure standards are exceeded. The results of this study were presented only for the measurement of the working environment among the minimum health management measures for research workers, but it is necessary to prepare a system to improve the level of safety and health.

위상각 측정에 의한 적정의 정확한 종말점 검출법에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Precise End-Point Detection in Titration by Using the Phase Angle Measurements)

  • 임피던스 위상각 적정법을 산화환원적정, 산염기적정, 착화적정 그리고 침전적정에 적용하여 정확한 종말점 검출법을 연구하였다. 일정한 교류전류가 두 백금전극사이를 통과하도록 하였고 그중 하나는 $0.1cm^2$ 또는 $0.026cm^2$의 표면적을 가진 초소형 분극전극이었고 다른 하나는 $1cm^2$의 표면적을 비분극전극을 사용하였다. 과망간산칼륨에 의한 옥살산의 산화환원적정에서 임피던스 위상각 적정법을 적용하였을때 $50{\mu}A$, 0.0005 M 이상의 농도에서 뚜렷한 종말점을 얻었고, 50 Hz 근방의 주파수 영역에서 가장 확실한 종말점을 얻을 수 있었다. NaOH에 의한 인산의 산염기 적정에서 0.001 M 수산화나트륨에 의한 0.001 M 인산의 적정시 임피던스 위상각 적정법을 적용하여 $50{\mu}A$, 주파수 25-97 Hz의 넓은 주파수 영역에서 뚜렷한 제1당량점을 얻었다. 이는 전도도의 반대 개념으로서의 임피던스의 변화량이 종말점을 기점으로 변곡하고 이에따라 위상각이 변화하는데 원인됨을 알았다. 또한 제2당량점에서는 임피던스 위상각 적정법으로 뚜렷한 종말점을 얻지 못하였다. 이는 $Na_2HPO_4$의 가수분해를 막기 위하여 적정시 과량으로 첨가되는 NaCl에 의한 방해로 생각된다. 0.1 M EDTA에 의한 0.01 M 황산구리의 착화적정시에는 위상각 측정으로 적정종말점을 찾기 보다는 "다른위상" 임피던스 Z"을 측정하여 종말점을 알아내는 것이 유리함을 알았다. $AgNO_3$에 의한 $Cl^-$의 침전적정에 있어 $100{\mu}A$, 0.1 M 농도에서 임피던스 위상각 적정법을 적용하여 명확한 종말점을 얻었고, 15-30Hz 범위에서 가장 안정적인 뚜렷한 변화를 볼 수 있었다. 그러나 0.01 M 농도에서는 임피던스 위상각의 뚜렷한 변화를 볼 수 없었다. 본 연구에서 임피던스 위상각 적정법을 산화환원적정, 산염기적정, 착화적정 그리고 침전적정시의 종말점 검출을 위해 사용하였을 때 대부분 성공적이었으며 이는 적정시 종말점을 정확히 측정하는 목적에 활용 할수 있음을 보여주는 것이다.

호남지역 저온형 온천수의 수리지화학적 및 안정동위원소 특성과 영족기체의 기원에 관한 연구 (Hydrochemical and Isotopic Characteristics, and Origin of Noble Gas for Low-temperature Hot Spring Waters in the Honam Area)

  • 이 연구에서는 호남지역에 분포하는 5개 온천(죽림, 변산, 지리산, 덕산, 화순)에서 9개 온천시료와 인근의 지하수 시료 3개를 채취하여 수질화학 성분과 안정동위원소 $({\delta}^{18}O,\;{\delta}D,\;{\delta}^{34}S)$ 및 영족기체(He, Ne, Ar) 동위원소 분석을 통하여 온천수의 지화학적 특성, 지화학적 진화, 그리고 황, 헬륨, 아르곤의 기원을 해석하고자 하였다. 호남지역 온천수의 수온은 $23.0{\sim}30.5^{\circ}C$ 범위로 저온형 온천특성을 보이고 pH는 $7.67{\sim}9.98$ 범위로 알카리성의 특성을 보여주었다. 전기전도도는 $153{\sim}746{\mu}S/cm$ 범위로 지역에 따라서 큰 차이를 보여주었다. 온천주변 지하수의 수질특성은 온천수보다 낮은 pH와 전기전도도의 특성을 보여주었다. 온천수와 지하수의 지화학적 성분은 파이퍼도상에서 크게 3개의 유형으로 구분된다($Na-HCO_3$ 유형, Na-Cl 유형, $Ca-HCO_3$ 유형). 온천수의 지화학적 진화과정을 보면 초기에 $Ca-HCO_3$ 유형에서 출발하여 $Ca(Na)-HCO_3$ 유형을 거쳐 $Na-HCO_3$ 유형으로 진화하였으며, 일부 온천수는(JR1)의 경우 pH 9.98의 알카리성으로, $Na-HCO_3$ 유형의 종말점까지 도달하여 지화학적 진화의 최종단계에 도달되었음을 보여준다. 온천수의 산소 및 수소동위원소 조성은 순환수선을 따라 도시되며 지역에 따라 위도효과를 보인다. 황산염에 대한 황동위원소 대부분 화성기원을 보인다. 그러나 JR1 온천은 고염수에서 기원한 것으로 보이는 해양성기원을 보인다. 온천수의 $^3He/^4He$ 비와 $^4He/^{20}Ne$ 비는 $0.0143{\times}10^{-6}{\sim}0.407{\times}10^{-6}$ 범위와 $6.49{\sim}584{\times}10^{-6}$ 범위를 각각 보여주어 대기와 지각성분의 혼합선상에 도시된다. 이는 온천수내 헬륨가스의 대부분이 지각기원임을 의미한다. 죽림온천(JR1)의 경우 맨틀기원의 헬륨가스의 혼합율이 다른 온천에 비해 다소 높은 비율을 보여준다. 이들 동위원소비와 온천수의 pH와는 대체적으로 정의 상관관계가 확인되었다. 아울러 $^{40}Ar/^{36}Ar$비가 $292.3{\times}10^{-6}{\sim}304.1{\times}10^{-6}$ 범위로 대기기원임을 지시한다.

산업장 교대근무 근로자의 건강증진행위 예측요인 (Predictive Factors of Health promotion behaviors of Industrial Shift Workers)

  • Industrial shift workers feels suffer mental stresses which are caused by unfamiliar day sleep, noisy environment, sleeping disorder by bright light, unusual contacts with family, difficulty in meeting with friends or having formal social meetings and other social limitations such as the use of transportation. Such stresses influence health of the workers negatively. Thus the health promotion policy for shift workers should be made considering the workers' ways of living and shift work specially. This study attempted to provide basic information for development of the health promotion program for industrial shift workers by examining predictive factors influencing health promotion behaviors of those workers. In designing the study, three power generation plants located in Pusan and south Kyungsang province were randomly selected and therefrom 280 workers at central control, boiler and turbine rooms and environmental chemistry parts whose processes require shift works were sampled as subjects of the study. Data were collected two times from September 17 to October 8, 1999 using questionnaires with helps of safety and health managers of the plants. The questionnaires were distributed through mails or direct visits. Means for the study included the measurement tool of health promotion behavior provided by Park(1995), the tool of self-efficacy measurement by Suh(1995), the tool of internal locus of control measurement by Oh(1987), the measurement tool of perceived health state by Park(1995) and the tool of social support measurement by Paek(1995). The collected data were analyzed using SPSS program. Controlling factors of the subjects were evaluated in terms of frequency and percentage ratio Perceived factors and health promotion behaviors of the subjects were done so in terms of mean and standard deviation, and average mark and standard deviation, respectively. Relations between controlling and perceived factors were analyzed using t-test and ANOVA and those between perceived factors and the performance of health promotion behaviors, using Pearson's Correlation Coefficient. The performance of health promotion behaviors was tested using t-test, ANOVA and post multi-comparison (Scheffe test). Predictive factors of health promotion behavior were examined through the Stepwise Multiple Regression Analysis. Results of the study are summarized as follows. 1. The performance of health promotion behaviors by the subjects was evaluated as having the value of mean, $161.27{\pm}26.73$ points(min.:60, max.:240) and average mark, $2.68{\pm}0.44$ points(min.:1, max.:4). When the performance was analyzed according to related aspects, it showed the highest level in harmonious relation with average mark, $3.15{\pm}.56$ points, followed by hygienic life($3.03{\pm}.55$), self-realization ($2.84{\pm}.55$), emotional support($2.73{\pm}.61$), regular meals($2.71{\pm}.76$), self-control($2.62{\pm}.63$), health diet($2.62{\pm}.56$), rest and sleep($2.60{\pm}.59$), exercise and activity($2.53{\pm}.57$), diet control($2.52{\pm}.56$) and special health management($2.06{\pm}.65$). 2. In relations between perceived factors of the subjects(self-efficacy, internal locus of control, perceived health state) and the performance of health promotion behaviors, the performance was found having significantly pure relations with self-efficacy (r=.524, P=.000), internal locus of control (r=.225, P=.000) and perceived health state(r=.244, P=.000). The higher each evaluated point of the three factors was, the higher the performance was in level. 3. When relations between the controlling factors(demography-based social, health-related, job-related and human relations characteristics) and the performance of health promotion behaviors were analyzed, the performance showed significant differences according to marital status (t=2.09, P= .03), religion(F=3.93, P= .00) and participation in religious activities (F=8.10, P= .00) out of demography-based characteristics, medical examination results (F=7.20, P= .00) and methods of the collection of health knowledge and information(F=3.41, P= .01) and methods of desired health education(F=3.41, P= .01) out of health-related characteristics, detrimental factors perception(F=4.49, P= .01) and job satisfaction(F=8.41, P= .00) out of job-related characteristics and social support(F=14.69, P= .00) out of human relations characteristics. 4. The factor which is a variable predicting best the performance of health promotion behaviors by the subjects was the self-efficacy accounting for 27.4% of the prediction, followed by participation in religious activities, social support, job satisfaction, received health state and internal locus of control in order all of which totally account for 41.0%. In conclusion, the predictive factor which most influence the performance of health promotion behaviors by shift workers was self-efficacy. To promote the sense, therefore, it is necessary to develop the nursing intervention program considering predictive factors as variables identified in this study. Further industrial nurses should play their roles actively to help shift workers increase their capability of self-management of health.
