주거환경 우수주택 인증단지의 거주 후 평가에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Residents′ Post Occupancy Evaluation of the Environment-Friendly Housing Certification)

  • The importance of environment has been increased recently, and it has affected architectural area especially no less than any other area. This study performed POE on the housing sectors, which have been approved as ‘The Environment-Friendly Housing Certification (KOEAM 2000)’, to evaluate the recognition and value of the residents. The study employed survey method and the items of questionnaire are based on the detailed criteria of the ‘The Environment-Friendly Housing Certification (KOEAM 2000)’. Through the analysis of investigated substance, this study compared the differences between the quantitative satisfaction and the qualitative satisfaction of the residents, and investigated the differences between the degree of satisfaction and the degree of importance, and the preference to the evaluation criteria. As a result, it is deduced that the qualitative aspects rather than the quantitative aspects affects the satisfaction of residents more in some criteria. It is also investigated that the awareness and requirements level of residents varies according to the demographics, and the differences between the evaluation criteria of the residents and the certification system is also deduced. Through this analysis, this study tried to find the supplemental points of the certification system which pursue the sustainable development and accommodate the requirements of residents.

노인의 관점에서 본 동네환경의 노인친화도 - 도시지역과 농촌지역의 비교연구 - (The Age-friendly Degree of Neighborhood Environment in aspects of the Aged - A Comparative Study of Urban Area and Rural Area -)

  • As the aging society is globally increasing, the guide for the aged-friendly city is suggested by WHO and many cities are preparing to meet with it. The base of this guide for an age-friendly city is an active aging. This study examined how degree the neighborhood environment is age-friendly from older persons' standpoints. The data were collected through the interview with old persons who aged more than 65 years, 117 persons in an urban area and 110 ones in a rural area. The age-friendly degree of neighborhood environment was examined from two aspects. One is how close 12 neighborhood facilities were from the elderly's houses. Another one is how degree the elderly were considered in 4 areas: pedestrian road, traffic, the amount of housing for the elderly, and space layouts of their houses. Findings were as follows. First, the elderly related neighborhood facilities in urban area were closer located to old persons' houses than in rural area, except the senior center. Second, in case of the age-friendly degree of their neighborhood environments, the space layout of house was the highest, and then traffic, pedestrian road, and the amount of housing for the elderly, in order. The consideration degree of wheelchair users was the lowest. Third, the age-friendly degree of pedestrian road, traffic, and room layout of house in rural area were higher than in urban area. However, the amount of housing for the elderly in urban area was higher than in rural area.

  • Nowadays, housing density in a city is getting higher, and this trend is expected to continue in the future. Therefore, Skyscraper is considered as future alternative architecture beyond symbolic meaning in aspect of demand and supply of urban land. However, skyscrapers which were newly built in Korea have many problems such as consumption of enormous amounts of energy, destruction of natural environment, and traffic jam. And from now on, environment-friendly development of skyscraper is urgently needed. However, plans or evaluation standards, which take account of the environment-friendly aspect of skyscraper, leave much to be desired. And especially it is hard to find environment-friendly skyscrapers. Therefore, this study aims to find realistic alternative solutions of environment-friendly skyscraper through analysis of the works of Ken Yeang who has been known as bio-climatic architect and tried to apply environment-friendly plans to skyscraper.

아파트의 친환경적 실내마감재에 대한 인테리어 디자이너와 주부의 인식 및 선호 비교 (A Comparison of the Awareness and Preferences of Interior Designers and Housewives for Environment Friendly Interior Finishing Materials in Apartments)

  • As a response to the recent increase in the Interest in environment friendly interior finishing materials, the purpose of this study is to compare the awareness of environment friendly interior finishing materials between interior designers and housewives, as representatives of two different consumer groups, and to examine how the preferences between them differ. The study participant group for this research consisted of 80 interior designers working in Gwangju, and 166 housewives who were residents of a number of apartments in Gwangju. Self administered questionnaires were provided to the participants and were then collected. Unpaired t-tests and $x^2$ tests were used to compare the prevalence of epidemiological factors and the variables that revealthe awareness and the preference between the two groups. While it was expected that both groups would source information using the internet, the housewives group showed a tendency to also seek advice from others in the selection of environment friendly interior finishing materials. Interior-designers considered the high price and the lack of diverse products as the most serious problems involved in selecting environment friendly interior finishing materials. Interior-designers chose design, color and long-term use, and the method of maintenance as standards by which to choose interior materials in general, while the housewives considered 'environment friendly' as the most important standard. Both groups however favored environment friendly materials. There was no difference between the two groups in terms of their belief in the need to trust a well known brand name and in the importance of a Green-label placed on interior finishing materials such as wallpaper, paint and laminate flooring.

친환경 리모델링 철거공사의 최적 TACT공정 개발 - 사례연구를 중심으로 - (Development of Optimal TACT Process for Eco-Friendly Demolition Works in Aged Housing Remodeling - Focus on Case Study -)

  • 기술문명의 지속적인 발전은 이루어 경제성장과 물질적 풍요로움을 주었으나, 환경에 대한 고려를 통한 발전이 무엇보다 요구되는 시기가 되었다. 건설 분야의 경우도 예외가 아니다. 따라서 최근 건설 산업에서는 친환경 공법을 적용하며, 폐기물을 줄이는 등 환경에 대한 관심이 어느 때보다 높아졌다. 국내의 노후 공동주택이 점차 증가함에 따라 성능개선방안으로 재건축 및 리모델링이 수행되고 있다. 하지만 재건축이 가지는 비용적, 환경적 측면에서의 문제로 인해 리모델링의 수행이 대안으로 인식되고 있다. 리모델링 공사는 특성상 철거공사가 선행 된다. 철거공사는 필연적으로 건설폐기물 발생이 수반된다. 따라서 환경적 측면을 고려한 폐기물 처리가 중요하며, 이를 위해서 선별 분리를 위한 친환경 리모델링 철거공사가 수행되어야 한다. 그러나 친환경 리모델링 철거공사는 주로 기계를 사용하여 수행하는 기존 방식에 반하여 인력이 중심이 되므로 생산성 측면에서 효율성이 낮다. 리모델링 공사는 특성상 철거공사 후 후행공사가 진행되기 때문에 철거공사의 작업효율성 확보가 중요하다. 따라서 본 논문은 친환경 리모델링 철거공사의 세부공정을 작업효율성이 포함된 공정으로 재구성하고자 하였다. 이를 위해서 노후 공동주택을 선정하여 실제 사례연구를 실시하였다. 친환경 철거공사 사례적용을 분석하여 본 사례에 적합한 TACT공정을 개발하였고 이를 고층형 아파트에 적용시키기 위해 공정 Simulation을 실시하여 친환경 리모델링 최적 TACT공정을 제안하였다.

기존 설계기준 아파트와 친환경 저에너지 아파트의 $LCCO_2$ 비교 ($LCCO_2$ Comparison of Existing Apartment Housing and Environment-Friendly Apartment Housing)

  • In October 2009, the Ministry of Land Transport and Maritime Affairs noticed 'Environment-friendly housing construction standards and performance' to build energy saving environment-friendly housings (Green Homes) for the reduction of energy consumption and carbon dioxide emission. In this study, the $CO_2$ emissions were evaluated during the life cycle of the existing apartments which were built in 1980's and Green Home apartment. $LCCO_2$ was evaluated by dividing the life cycle into three stages which are construction, maintenance and destruction stage. $CO_2$ emission from the materials for improving insulation performance was estimated by Input-output analysis. As a result, in 40 year-life cycle of $84\;m^2$ apartment, 400.68 T-$CO_2$ was emitted from 1980's apartment, on the other hand 231.02 T-$CO_2$ was emitted from Green Home apartment.

CFD와 실측을 이용한 환경제어요소 도입 및 주택 자연환기 성향 검토를 통한 에너지 절감가능성 고찰 (Study on Energy Saving Possibilities through Analysis of Environment Control Elements & Natural Ventilation Performance using the CFD & Measurement)

  • Heat island is caused by changes of land coverage structure of cities and use of energy in buildings. As a result energy use in buildings get to increase further followed by rising of GHG emission and deteriorating climate change. Eco-friendly housing complex is a kind of plan that applies environmental control elements like water and green spaces to housing complex. With these methods, it can be expected to create thermal environment of indoor and outdoor. In this paper quantitative examination is studied on using CFD to find out the effects of river, water permeable, parks and planting on thermal environment. And by comparing field measurements with CFD results which are aimed to development phase housing complex, feasibility and usability of the CFD analysis results are confirmed. And also, analysis on the ventilation performance followed by natural ventilation system is analyzed by selecting one building in housing complex. Based on the results, the possibilities of energy reduction through making thermal environment and applying natural ventilation are studied. With these outcomes, creating thermal conditions and using natural ventilation would be contributed to GHG reduction.

장수명 공동주택 인터페이스의 친환경적 설계방향에 관한 연구 (A Study on design method of the environmental Interface of Long Life Housing)

  • The purpose of this study is to suggest ways to design for the environmental Interface of Long Life Housing. Research, improving the performance of the interface, is underway at the research organization of Long Life Housing. Infill system should accommodate the various changes in the space. So dismantlement, replacement, and repair of the act are essential. In this process, A lot of substance, which can damage or spoil the environment, may be produced. However, the eco-friendly aspects of the interface design of infill system is not made in the approach or evaluation. Therefore, this paper is to analyze the problem of Interface of Long Life Housing in terms of eco-friendly, and it try to find a design method, complemented in the next research.

  • Aggravation of natural environment, improvements in income, internet diffusion, spread of five-day work a week, and population aging seem very different from each other. However they boil down to consumption. These culture patterns are changing into environment-friendly and productive housing culture. In other words, people might tend to have frequent contacts with not only environment-friendly housing in bustling cities but also woods that is environment friendly materials in their leisure time. In the period of people young and old alike are in favor of woodcrafts, this study was conducted for giving information to who speicalized in woodcrafts. Furthermore, the study shows that other countries also added grain and figure to woodcrafts for visually appealing.

농가주택 법면 보호공을 위한 환경친화블럭의 적용성 평가 (Application of Environmentally friendly block for the slope stability and protection of Rural Housing)

  • Green environment is most important factor to human being taking a side view of psychological aspect. But, as the civilization progresses rapidly, the green environment decreases. At present, various environmentally friendly methods are developed to prevent the ill effect of the concretes. n this study, Ecostone retaining wall method, which is a kind of environmentally friendly block, are used for verifying the application to the slope stability and protection of rural hosing. In case of rural hosing and structure, the height of the slope is not high and additional loading doesn't act on the slope except the gravity loading of housing and structure. From the result of the stability analysis of Ecostone, 3m to 7m Ecostone retaining wall can have an equivalence capacity comparing with the concrete retaining wall. Therefore, Ecostone method can apply to retaining wall with the structural safety and environmentally friendly aspect using the plants and vegetation.
