  • In this paper, we present design and developing method for EMS(environment monitoring system) of micro data center. This developing EMS monitors operating environment of micro data center and analyze sensing data through IoT(Internet of things) sensors in real time. Firstly we present configuration method of IoT sensing package and design method EMS hardware platform. Secondly we design data collector software for data collection of IoT sensor with different protocol and develop monitoring software of EMS. The data collector software consists of sensor collector module and collector manager module. Also we design EMS software which has micro service architecture structural style and component based business logic.

  • Since air quality monitoring data sets are important base for developing of air quality management strategies including policy making and policy performance assessment, the environmental protection authorities need to organize and operate monitoring network properly. Air quality monitoring network of Busan, consisting of 18 stations, was allocated under unscientific and irrational principles. Thus the current state of air quality monitoring networks was reassessed the effect and appropriateness of monitoring objectives such as population protection and sources surveillance. In the process of the reassessment, a GIS-based decision support system was constructed and used to simulate air quality over complex terrain and to conduct optimization analysis for air quality monitoring network with multi-objective. The maximization of protection capability for population appears to be the most effective and principal objective among various objectives. The relocation of current monitoring stations through optimization analysis of multi-objective appears to be better than the network building for maximization of population protection capability. The decision support system developed in this study on the basis of GIS-based database appear to be useful for the environmental protection authorities to plan and manage air quality monitoring network over complex terrain.

  • As the embedded software spreads in various areas, many development tools have been made to minimize the developing time. But these tools cannot be applicable to all the environment because they have been created for the specific platform. As such, this paper proposes an Embedded Monitoring System, which supports the various communication environment and removes the limitation of adaptability to the various platforms. Using the Code Inline technique, this system can perform the monitoring process. However, we should consider the optimization for the monitoring process and monitoring sensors because the technique has the monitoring sensor overhead. As such, this paper proposes an approach for initializing the monitoring process and a bit-masking technique for optimizing the monitoring sensor. The Embedded Monitoring System will be applicable to all the areas using embedded systems.

  • Geographical position and associated climatic influences can be a negative environmental condition that affects sustainable use of land resources, especially pastoral livestock production. Vegetation condition of the country is sensitively changes upon climate changes and human impacts. Within last 60 years data the annual air temperature has increased in 1.66 degrees in average and the total precipitation amount had almost no change. The main goal of this work is to relate climate change within last 20 years with pasture condition, estimated by NOAA/NDVI data set.

  • In this paper, to promote the production of agricultural products, it is goal to design and implement the growth environmental management monitoring system. Based on the IT convergence technology, it consists of four components such as sensor nodes to sense environmental factors, sink nodes to communicate with sensors, gateway to link sinknodes to monitoring system, and monitoring software. With monitoring process for temperature and humidity, we can obtain the bast growth environment to be maintained deviation value 10% for temperature and humidity.

  • The ubiquitous middleware configurated an aggregation of the various services. The services are made in different languages and the various services that are dynamically changing environment are carried out in collaboration service. The ubiquitous system that services in the these environment is required appropriate response to real-time system and reliability. In this paper, we suggest the monitoring agent that a monitoring system added or removed the services in real-time is made continuous monitoring in run-time environment and guaranteed performance and reliability of a application by maximally reducing overhead that combined with applications is occurred. The suggested scheme shows the demonstration to fit the scenario situation and verifies function and performance of monitoring about the service applications through the experiment.

  • The urban microscale wind field around the air quality monitoring station was investigated in order to check how a building complex influences it. For this study as the high density areas Jwa-dong and Yeonsan-dong monitoring sites in Busan were chosen. As the direction of inflow which is perpendicular to the building of the monitoring station was expected to cause the considerable variation of the wind field, that direction was selected. The model Envi-met was used as the diagnostic numerical model for this study. It is suitable for this investigation because Envi-met has the microscale resolution. After simulating it, on the leeward side around a building complex the decrease of flow velocity and some of vortexes or circulation area were discovered. In addition, on the edge of the top at the building and at the back of the building the upward flow was developed. If the sampling hole of monitoring site were located in this upward flow, it would be under the influence of upward flow from the near street.

  • Mobile devices like iphone, ipad, kindle, and PDA are used as everyday tool. In the mobile environment, smart phones and other mobile units are also used as a tool for protection or infringement of personal information. Therefore, smart monitoring technology is required to protect personal information and privacy. On the other hand, with smart phones and the mobile environment, diverse application technologies are realized on hardware and software platforms. Therefore, this paper designs the network structure that forms privacy trust zone, and based on this, deals with the monitoring and monitoring prevention system with a focus on CCTV, through which this paper proposes a system that provides privacy trust zone information and its utilization which is capable of smart monitoring.

  • Recently, IT-based environment is changing rapidly as changing in web services platform, evolution of cloud computing environments and expanding the base of a smart market. Accordingly, monitoring development of environment is changing quickly. So a customizable SaaS-based monitoring tool is required to provide monitoring services. It has to support a variety of environmental monitoring and a resource managers with requested information, and by an enhanced monitoring framework in clouding environment of management system. In this paper, the 3D viewer for the management of sensor node management system was designed and built. Through the 3D viewer by enhancing the accessibility and visibility, the sensor network will allow resources to be used efficiently.

  • The requirements for automated handing of business process and its monitoring usually have a proprietary form for each enterprise. Unlike the conventional database transaction, business process takes long time for its completion and incorporates very complex handling logics along with business situations. Since those handling logics are frequently changing in accordance with the business policies or environment, enterprises want to integrally capture the whole business semantics while monitoring those process instances. In this paper, we adopted GMA(Grid Monitoring Architecture) for the integrated monitoring of business processes. The GMA(Grid Monitoring Architecture) is a very scalable architecture to effectively monitor and manage monitoring information under the heterogeneous environment. By introducing complex event handling features into GMA to support various processing logics, we could implement a system that enables automated execution and high-level monitoring of business processes.
