액체/액체계면에서 삼가 란탄족원소 이온과 중성담체(ETH4120)의 연속적인 착물형성 연구 (The Successive Complex Formation of Trivalent Lanthanide Ions with Ionophore ETH4120 at the Liquid/Liquid Interface)

  • Ionophore ETH4120의 이온담체작용에 의한 란탄족원소이온의 액체/액체계면에서의 상전이를 순환전압전류법(cyclic voltammetry)과 순환전류주사 대시간전위차법(Chronopotentiometry with cyclic linear current scanning; CPCLCS)으로 고찰하였다. 수용액 중의 란탄족원소이온농도가 유기용액중의 착화제 농도보다 훨씬 높을 때 순환전압전류법과 CPCLCS 곡선에서 하나의 양극전류(수용액상에서 유기상으로 전이)파와 두개의 음극전류(유기상에서 수용액상으로 전이)파가 관찰되었다. 양극전류파는 1:1(금속:착화제) 착물형성과 관계되는 봉우리이고, 두 음극전류파는 각각 1:2와 1:3의 연속적인 착물형성과 관계된 파이다. 그러나 1:1 착물의 양극전류파와 대응하는 1:1 착물의 음극파와, 1:2 착물과 1:3 착물의 음극전류파에 대응되는 양극전류파는 나타나지 않았다. 이와 관련되는 이온 상전이 메카니즘을 검토하였다.

  • The Ν-value in the standard penetration test(SPT) is affected by the magnitude of the rod penetration energy transmitted from the falling hammer as well as the geotechnical characteristics of the ground. Understanding of the striking energy efficiency in the SPT equipment is getting important for that reason. The energy efficiencies of the doughnut hammer with the hydraulic lift system and the automatic trip hammer system were investigated through field tests using the instrumented rod and wave-signal acquisition systems including the pile driving analyzer(PDA) . The rod energy ratio, ΕR$\_$r/ was defined as the ratio of the energy delivered to the drilling rod to the potential free-fall energy of the hammer. It appears that the type of the hammer and lift/drop system had a strong influence on the energy transfer mechanism and ΕR$\_$r/ also varies according to the energy instrumentation system and the analysis methods.

  • The high pressure side rotary compressor is investigated in this study. The temperatures at 29 points of main components and the refrigerant and the performance of the instrumented compressor are measured at various operating conditions. The complex heat transfer mechanism between the components, such s cylinder, suction pipe and stator of motor, is fairly clarified. It is also confirmed that the achievement of a high efficiency by reducing the heat transfer loss in the rotary compressor is possible.

  • 본 논문에서는 무선 센서 네트워크에서 지연시간에 민감한 데이터를 실시간으로 전달하는 기법을 제안하였다. 실시간 전송을 위한 기존의 방식들은 단순히 전달 지연이 짧은 경로 혹은 홉 수가 작은 경로를 선택한다. 하지만, 이러한 방식들은 링크 에러율을 고려하지 않았으므로, 전송 오류가 발생하는 경우에는 재전송으로 인하여 실시간 전송을 보장하기 어렵다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 링크 에러율을 고려하여 실시간 전송 경로를 선정하는 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 제안하는 기법은 이웃 노드들 간의 링크 에러율에 기반하여 홉 간의 전송 지연시간을 추정함으로써 종단 간 기대되는 지연시간을 계산한다. 소스 노드는 가장 짧은 전달 지연시간을 가진 경로를 실시간 경로로 선택하고 데이터를 전송한다. 링크의 에러율에 따른 다양한 실험을 통하여 제안 방식이 데이터 전달 속도를 향상시키고 지연 지터를 감소시킨다는 사실을 확인하였다. 또한, 전송 오류와 재전송의 상대적 인 감소로 인하여 에너지 소비가 줄어들고 네트워크 수명이 연장된다는 사실을 알 수 있었다.

  • 區區한 Diels-Alder 反應의 구조를 규명하기 위하여 Diels-Alder 反應 基 自體의 本質에 가장 가깝다고 생각한 새로운 擬似分子化合物이라는 遷移狀態의 模型을 假定하여 Mulliken의 分子化合物의 量子力學을 適用하였다. 이 擬似分子化合物은 이온성과 Radical성을 지닌 混成體이다. 이 混成體의 波動函數는 다음 식으로 표현된다. ${\psi}_{complex} = {\psi}(R,S) + {\rho}{\psi}(R^+,S^-)$ 여기 ${\rho}$는 擬似分子化合物의 極性程度를 나타내는 것이고 이 ${\rho}$가 Diene과 Dienpohile의 反應中心原子들의 自由原子價의 차 $({\Delta}F)$에 關係함을 밝혔다. 아울러 이 ${\Delta}F$量이 Brown氏의 Lp量 및 Dewar氏의 ${\Delta}E_{deloc}$量과 直線성이 있음을 알았다. Diels-Alder反應의 可能性與否를 24組의 反應組에 對하여 豫言하였다. 따라서 우리가 假定한 遷移狀態의 模型이 眞實에 가깝다고 볼 수 있으며 결국 Diels-Alder 反應은 同時附加로 융합된 ionic-Radical mechanism으로 反應이 進行한다고 볼 수 있다.

  • Corium behavior in the lower plenum of the reactor vessel during a severe accident is very important, as this affects a failure mechanism of the lower head vessel and a thermal load to the outer reactor vessel under the IVR-ERVC (In-Vessel corium Retention through External Reactor Vessel Cooling) condition. This paper discusses the state of the art and technical issues on corium behavior in the lower plenum, such as initial corium pool formation characteristics and its transient behavior, natural convection heat transfer in various geometries, natural convection heat transfer with a phase change of melting and solidification, and corium interaction with a lower head vessel including penetrations of the ICI (In-Core Instrumentation) nozzle are discussed. It is recommended that more detailed analysis and experiments are necessary to solve the uncertainties of corium behavior in the lower plenum of the reactor vessel.

  • The effective thermal conductivities of $Mm(La_{0.6-0.8})Ni_{4.0}Co_{0.6}Mn_{0.2}Al_{0.2}$ [TL-492] with hydrogen and helium have been examined. Experiment results show that pressure has great influence on effective thermal conductivity in low pressure range [below 0.5 MPa]. And that influence decreases rapidly with increase of gas pressure. The reason is at low pressure, the mean free path of gas becomes greater than effective thickness of gas film which is important to the heat transfer mechanism in this research. And, carbon fibers have been used to try to enhance the poor thermal conductivity of TL-492. Three types of carbon fibers and three mass fractions have been examined and compared. Naturally, the highest effective thermal conductivity has been reached with carbon fiber which has highest thermal conductivity, and highest mass fraction. This method has acquired 4.33 times higher thermal conductivity than pure metal hydrides with quite low quantity of additives, only 0.99 wt% of carbon fiber. This is a good result comparing to other method which can reach higher effective thermal conductivity but needs much higher mass fraction of additives too.

  • Electrolytic reduction of uranium oxide to uranium metal was studied in a $LiCl-Li_{2}O$ molten salt system. The reduction mechanism of the uranium oxide to a uranium metal has been studied by means of a cyclic voltammetry. Effects of the layer thickness of the uranium oxide and the thickness of the MgO on the overpotential of the cathode and the anode were investigated by means of a chronopotentiometry. From the cyclic voltamograms, the decomposition potentials of the metal oxides are the determining factors for the mechanism of the reduction of the uranium oxide in a $LiCl-3\;wt{\%} Li_{2}O$ molten salt and the two mechanisms of the electrolytic reduction were considered with regards to the applied cathode potential. In the chronopotentiograms, the exchange current and the transfer coefficient based on the Tafel behavior were obtained with regard to the layer thickness of the uranium oxide which is loaded into the porous MgO membrane and the thickness of the porous MgO membrane. The maximum allowable currents for the changes of the layer thickness of the uranium oxide and the thickness of the MgO membrane were also obtained from the limiting potential which is the decomposition potential of LiCl.

Corrosion behavior and mechanism of CLAM and 316L steels in flowing Pb-17Li alloy under magnetic field

  • The liquid lead-lithium (Pb-17Li) blanket has many applications in fusion reactors due to its good tritium breeding performance, high heat transfer efficiency and safety. The compatibility of liquid Pb-17Li alloy with the structural material of blanket under magnetic field is one of the concerns. In this study, corrosion experiments China low activation martensitic (CLAM) steel and 316L steel were carried out in a forced convection Pb-17Li loop under 1.0 T magnetic field at 480 ℃ for 1000 h. The corrosion results on 316L steel showed the characteristic with a superficial porous layer resulted from selective leaching of high-soluble alloy elements and subsequent phase transformation from austenitic matrix to ferritic phase. Then the porous layers were eroded by high-velocity jet fluid. The main corrosion mechanism of CLAM steel was selective dissolution-base corrosion attack on the microstructure boundary regions and exclusively on high residual stress areas. CLAM steel performed a better corrosion resistance than that of 316L steel. The high Ni dissolution rate and the erosion of corroded layers are the main causes for the severe corrosion of 316L steel.
