충남지역(忠南地域)에서 재배(栽培)하는 메밀종자(種子)의 몇가지 특성(特性)과 그 분포(分布)에 관(關)한 조사연구(調査硏究) (Studies on the Regional Distribution and Some Morphological Characters of Buckwheat, Fagopyrum esculentum Moench, Grown in Chungnam Province)

  • 본(本) 조사연구(調査硏究)는 충남도내(忠南道內) 36개지역(個地域)에서 수집(蒐集)한 1984년도산(年度産) 메밀종자(種子)에 대(對)하여 몇가지 기초적(基礎的)인 특성(特性)을 조사분석(調査分析)하고 그들의 지역적분포(地域的分布)를 밝히고자 실시(實施)하였던 바 그 결과(結果)를 요약(要約)하연 다음과 같다. 1. 종자(種子)의 입형(粒型)은 유시형(有翅型), 중간형(中間型) 및 보통형(普通型)등 3개형(個型)이었고 어느 지성(地城)에서 수집(蒐集)한 종자(種子)이든 이들 3개형(個型)의 종자(種子)가 섞여 있었는데 그 혼합비율(混合比率)은 전체(全體) 평균(平均)으로 볼 때 보통형(普通型)이 50.1%, 중간형(中間型)이 26.8% 그러고 유시형(有翅型)은 23.1%이었으나 이러한 혼합비율(混合比率)은 지역간(地域間)에 큰 차이(差異)가 있었다. 2. 1000 입중(粒重)은 전체평균(全體平均) 24.9gr이었으나 지역간(地域間)에 큰 차이(差異)가 인정(認定)되어서 서산군(瑞山郡)((No.30)에서의 수집종자(蒐集種子)가 17.4gr로 가장 가벼웠고 서천군(舒川郡)(No.16)에서의 수집종자(蒐集種子)는 31.9gr로 가장 무거웠는데 입형별(粒型別) 혼합비율(混合比率)과 1000입중(粒重)과는 일정(一定)한 경향(傾向)이 나타나지 않았다. 3. $5^{\circ}C$로부터 $30^{\circ}C$사이에서는 온도(溫度)가 높아짐에 따라서 일반적(一般的)으로 발아(發芽)가 촉진(促進)되었는데 서천군(舒川郡)(No.16), 홍성군(洪城郡)(No.23), 천원군(天原郡)(No.35) 및 예산군(禮山郡)(No.27)에서의 수집종(蒐集種)은 $15^{\circ}C$ 그리고 서산군(瑞山郡)(No.29), 당진군(唐津郡)(No.32) 및 청양군(靑陽郡)(No.21)에서의 수집종(蒐集種)은 $25^{\circ}C$에서 발아율(發芽率)이 낮았다가 그 이상(以上)의 온도(溫度)에서 다시 상승(上昇)하였으며 $5^{\circ}C$의 저온(低溫)에서는 대부분(大部分)의 수집종자(蒐集種子)들이 10%미만(未滿)의 발아율(發芽率)을 나타내었으나 아산군(牙山郡)(No.33)과 대덕군(大德郡)(No.3)에서의 수집종(蒐集種)은 각각(各各) 20%와 30%의 발아율(發芽率)을 나타내었다. 4. 종피(種皮)의 색(色)은 흑색(黑色)과 암갈색(暗褐色)으로 구분(區分)되었으며 입형(粒型)과 종피색(種皮色)을 조합(組合)한 종자형(種子型)은 유시흑색(有翅黑色), 중간흑색(中間黑色), 보통흑색(普通黑色), 유시암갈색(有翅暗褐色), 중간암갈색(中間暗褐色) 그리고 보통암갈색종(普通暗褐色種) 등 6개형(個型)으로 분류(分類)할 수 있었고 종피색(種皮色)의 차이(差異)에 따른 광(光)Energy의 흡수(吸收) Spectrum의 차이는 190~390nm범위 이었다.

사례분석을 통한 사용 후 가구 재제조의 경제적·환경적 효과 분석 (Analysis of Economic and Environmental Effects of Remanufactured Furniture Through Case Studies)

  • 가구 산업은 부가가치 창출의 가능성이 높고 중소기업이 주축이 되어 있는 산업 특성상 일자리 창출 여력이 크다. 그러나, 최근 사용 후 가구의 처리 동향을 살펴보면 재사용 가치가 충분한 사용 후 가구마저도 파쇄되어 고형연료(SRF)로 활용되고 있는 사례가 많으며, 폐기물 처리업체는 지속적으로 감소하면서 폐목재 적체 현상으로 이어지고 있다. 이 같은 문제를 해결하기 위한 방안으로, 순환이용효율성이 높은 사용 후 가구 재제조 비즈니스 모델을 제안하고자 한다. 재제조는 자원 및 에너지 절감 효과가 크고, 고용창출 효과가 높다는 점에서 사용 후 가구에 적용 시 산업경제적 파급효과가 클 것으로 사료된다. 이에 본 연구에서는 해외의 사용 후 가구 재제조 과정을 분석하여 그 특성을 파악하고 이를 바탕으로 경제성 및 환경성 분석을 수행하였다. 경제성 분석 결과, 1인 사업장 기준으로 사용 후 가구 재제조를 통한 연간 예상수익은 약 104백만원, B/C 분석결과는 30으로 높은 사업성을 확보하는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 우리나라 1인 근로자 가구 연평균 소득의 3.11배(연평균 소득은 33백만원)에 달하는 수준이며, 같은 중량의 SRF로 재자원화할 경우의 수익 325천원보다 320배 높은 수준이다. 또한, 환경성 분석결과, 기존의 목재펠릿으로 가공하는 재자원화보다 재제조함으로써 얻을 수 있는 연간 온실가스 저감효과는 연간 2.2 tCO2-eq.이며, 이는 소나무 937그루 또는 신갈나무 622그루가 연간 흡수하는 온실가스의 양과 유사한 수치이다. 이러한 연구결과는 폐기단계에서 경제적 환경적 효과를 고려한 재자원화 방법을 우선 적용하는 것이 중요함을 시사해준다.

  • 최근, 테러 및 전쟁과 관련된 폭발사고가 빈번히 발생하고 있으며, 특히 도심지에서는 이러한 폭발사고로 인해 인명피해 뿐 아니라 주요 시설물에도 큰 손상이 가해져 제2차, 3차의 피해가 발생하게 된다. 폭발사고에 대하여 인명 및 시설물을 안전하게 보호하기 위해서는 기본적으로 구조물에 가해지는 폭발하중 효과에 대한 이해가 필요하다. 폭발하중은 매우 빠른 시간 내에 콘크리트 구조물에 큰 압력으로 작용하는 하중이므로 변형률 속도와 구조물의 국부적인 손상을 고려하여 동적응답을 평가해야 한다. 일반적으로, 콘크리트는 다른 건설재료에 비해 상대적으로 높은 폭발저항성을 가진 재료이지만, 일반강도 콘크리트는 충격 및 폭발하중에 대하여 충분한 저항성능을 가지지 않는다. 그러므로 방호설계에서는 고에너지 흡수력과 높은 파괴저항성을 지니는 새로운 재료의 개발이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 최근 활발하게 연구 중인 초고강도 콘크리트(UHSC)와 Reactive Powder Concrete(RPC)에 대한 방폭성능을 평가하고자 한다. UHSC와 RPC는 강도 및 성능향상, 부재의 치수 및 중량 감소, 내진저항성 향상과 같은 장점들로 인해 초고층건물 및 초장대교량에서 사용되어지고 있다. 또한 UHSC와 RPC는 9.11테러와 같은 테러 및 충격하중에 의한 사회주요시설물의 방호설계에 적용할 수 있다. 그러므로 본 연구에서는 폭발하중에 대한 UHSC 및 RPC 구조물의 거동을 파악하기 위하여 $1.0m{\times}1.0m{\times}150mm$의 슬래브 구조물 시편을 제작하여 폭발실험을 수행하였으며, 폭발파의 특성 뿐만 아니라 최대 및 잔류 변위와 철근과 콘크리트 표면에서 변형률을 측정하여 구조물의 거동을 분석하였다. 또한 손상 및 파괴모드를 각 시편별로 측정하였다. 본 실험을 통해 UHSC 및 RPC가 일반강도콘크리트에 비해 폭발저항성이 높은 것으로 분석되었다.

밭 작물(作物)의 가리(加里) 생리(生理) (Potassium Physiology of Upland Crops)

  • 밭 작물에 대(對)한 칼리의 생리(生理) 및 생화학적(生化學的) 역할(役割)을 최근(最近) 연구결과(硏究結果)를 중심(中心)으로 검토(檢討)하였으며 우리나라 밭 작물(作物)의 가리영양(加里營養) 현황(現況)을 살펴봤다. 칼리이온의 물리화학적(物理化學的) 특성(特性)은 Na에 의(依)하여 완전(完全) 대체(代替) 불가능(不可能)함을 보이며 대부분(大部分)의 작물(作物)에서 Na의 K대체(代替)는 불가피(不可避)한 대체기능(代替機能)에 대(對)한 부분적(部分的) 대체(代替)에 불과(不過)한 것 같다. 칼리의 특이성(特異性)은 엽록체(葉綠體) thylacoid막(膜)과 같은 미세구조(微細構造)를 효율적(效率的) 구조(構造)로 유지(維持)하며 주(主)로 탄수화물(炭水化物)과 단백질(蛋白質) 대사(代謝)에 관계(關係)하는 제효소(諸酵素)들의 allosteric effector로, 효율적(效率的) conformation의 유지자(維持者)로 작용(作用)하는 것으로 보였다. 광인산화(光燐酸化) 반응(反應)과 산화적(酸化的) 인산반응(燐酸反應) 등(等) energy 대사(代謝)에 필수적(必須的) 존재(存在)로서 유기물(有機物)의 합성(合成)과 전류등(轉流等) 광범(廣範)한 energy 의존(依存) 생리작용(生理作用)에 관여(關與)하고 있다. 칼리는 삼투압(渗透壓) 및 교질(膠質)의 가수도(加水度)를 유지(維持)하여 수분흡수(水分吸收) 및 전류(轉流)의 동인(動因)으로 작용(作用)하여 생리작용(生理作用)의 최적환경(最適環境)을 만들며 수분효율(水分效率)을 높인다. 칼리는 무기양분(無機養分)의 흡수(吸收)와 체내분포(體內分布)에 영향(影響)을 주고 생산물의 품질향상(品質向上)에도 영향을 주며 생산품의 K함량자체(含量自體)가 인체(人體)에서의 K의 중요성(重要性)으로 품질평가(品質評價)의 기준(基準)이 될 것 같다. 칼리의 흡수(吸收)는 저온(低溫)에 의(依)해 크게 저해(沮害)받으며 내부(內部) 칼리 함량에 의(依)한 부(否)의 feedback기작(機作)이 있어서 칼리의 사치흡수는 재평가(再評價)되어야 할 것으로 보였다. 우리나라 토양(土壤)의 전가리(全加里)는 약(約) 3%이나 치환성(置換性)은 0.3me/100g으로 동해(凍害), 한해(寒害)와 불균일(不均一)한 강우(降雨)로 인(因)한 습해(濕害), 한해(旱害) 등(等)으로 모든 밭 작물(作物)에서 요구도(要求度)가 컸다. 대맥(大麥)은 결빙직전(結氷直前) 및 해빙(解氷) 직후(直後)의 K영양(營養)이 수량(收量)과 유의성(有意性) 상관(相關)을 보이며 곡실(穀實)로 많이 전류(轉流)되는 것이 좋았다. 대맥(大麥)의 가리이용률(加里利用率)은 27%, 대두(大豆)는 숙전(熟田)에서 58% 개간지(開墾地)에서 46%였다. 대두(大豆)는 야산(野山) 개발지(開發地)에서 특(特)히 가리(加里) 결핍증상(缺乏症狀)을 많이 보였으며 화아분화기(花芽分花期)에 엽(葉) 중(中) $K_2O$ 2% 이상(以上) K/(Ca+Mg) (함량비(含量比))비(比)는 1.0 이상(以上)이어야 할 것 같다. 고구마는 가리흡수력(加里吸收力)이 커서 후작(後作)의 K영양(營養)에 크게 영향(影響)을 주었다. 감자와 옥수수는 Ca와 Mg에 비(比)해 K가 특히 높았다. 가리결핍(加里缺乏) 고구마는 뿌리에서 K농도 차이가 가장 컸다. 당근, 가지, 배추, 고추, 무우, 도마도가 가리(加里) 함량(含量)이 많았으며 배추 수량(收量)은 가리(加里)와 정상관(正相關)이었다. 사료작물(飼料作物)의 가리(加里) 함량(含量)은 비교적(比較的) 높은 편이었으며 식물체(植物體) 중(中) N, P, Ca와 유의정상관(有意正相關)을 보였다. 과수원(果樹園)의 16~25%가 가리(加里) 부족(不足)으로 나타났으며 우량(優良) 사과밭과 배밭의 토양(土壤)과 엽(葉)은 가리(加里) 함량(含量)이 높았다. 뽕나무의 동해(凍害)에 의(依)한 가지 끝 고사방지(枯死防止)를 위(爲)한 엽(葉) 중(中) $K_2O/(CaO+MgO)$ 임계치(臨界値)는 0.95이었다. 밭 작물재배(作物栽培) 뒤의 토양(土壤) 중(中) 가리(加里)는 전작(前作)에 따라 증가(增加)되는 경우와 감소(減少)되는 경우가 있으며 가리(加里) 흡수(吸收)는 토양수분(土壤水分)에 존재(依存)하는 것 같다. 따라서 토양(土壤) 중(中)의 전가리(全加里)를 포함한 형태별(形態別) 가리(加里) 함량(含量)의 토질(土質), 기상(氣象), 작부체계(作付體系) 등(等) 제요인(諸要因)과 관련(關聯) 장기적(長期的)이고 정량적(定量的)인 조사(調査)가 필요(必要)하다. 가리(加里)의 추비(追肥), 심층시비(深層施肥) 또는 완용성(緩溶性) 비료(肥料)와 입상비료(粒狀肥料) 등(等)이 강우양상(降雨樣相)과 관련(關聯) 검토(檢討)됨으로써 K흡수(吸收) 및 효율(效率)을 증진(增進)시킬 수 있을 것 같다. 가리영양(加里營養)을 포함하여 밭 작물(作物)의 영양해석(營養解析)에는 다요인분석(多要因分析)에 의(依)한 합리적(合理的)이고 실용적(實用的)인 영양지표(營養指標)를 찾는데 경주(傾注)해야 할 것 같다.

  • The wall shear stress in the vicinity of end-to end anastomoses under steady flow conditions was measured using a flush-mounted hot-film anemometer(FMHFA) probe. The experimental measurements were in good agreement with numerical results except in flow with low Reynolds numbers. The wall shear stress increased proximal to the anastomosis in flow from the Penrose tubing (simulating an artery) to the PTFE: graft. In flow from the PTFE graft to the Penrose tubing, low wall shear stress was observed distal to the anastomosis. Abnormal distributions of wall shear stress in the vicinity of the anastomosis, resulting from the compliance mismatch between the graft and the host artery, might be an important factor of ANFH formation and the graft failure. The present study suggests a correlation between regions of the low wall shear stress and the development of anastomotic neointimal fibrous hyperplasia(ANPH) in end-to-end anastomoses. 30523 T00401030523 ^x Air pressure decay(APD) rate and ultrafiltration rate(UFR) tests were performed on new and saline rinsed dialyzers as well as those roused in patients several times. C-DAK 4000 (Cordis Dow) and CF IS-11 (Baxter Travenol) reused dialyzers obtained from the dialysis clinic were used in the present study. The new dialyzers exhibited a relatively flat APD, whereas saline rinsed and reused dialyzers showed considerable amount of decay. C-DAH dialyzers had a larger APD(11.70$\pm$1.32mmHg/min)compared to CF dialyzers(4.32$\pm$0.55mmHg/min)(p<0.05). However, there was no observable difference in the UFR between the two dialyzers. Neither APD nor UFR showed any significant increase with an increasing number of reuses for up to more than 20reuses. A substantial number of failures observed in APD(larger than 20mmHe/min)on the reused dialyzers(2 out of 40 CP and S out 26 C-DAK) were attributed to the Possible damage on the fibers. The CF 15-11 HFDs which failed APD test did not show changes in the UFR compared to normal dialyzers indicating that APD is a more sensitive test than UFR test to evaluate the integrity of the fibers. 30527 T00401030527 ^x For quantitative measurement of reflected light from a clinical diagnostic strip, a prototype old reflectance photometer was designed. The strip loader and cassette were made to obtain more accurate reflectance parameters. The strip was illuminated at 45˚c through optical fiber and the intensity of reflected light was determined at rectanguLat angle using a photodiode. The kubelka-munk coefficient and reflection optical density were determined ar four different wavelengths(500, 550, 570 and 610nm) for blood glucose strip. For higher concentration than 300mg/41 about glucose, a saturation state of abforbance was observed at 500, 550 and 570nm. The mice were divided into two groups. One group was injected with Photofrin II, intravenously (2.5mg/kg body weight). The other group received no Photofrin II. Mice from both groups were irradialed for approximately 15 minutes at 100, 300, or 500 mW/cm2 with the argon (488nm/514.5 nm), dye(628nm) and gold vapor (pulsed 628 nm) laser light. A photosensitizer behaved as an added absorber. Under our experimental conditions, the presence of Photolfrin II increased surface temperature by at least 40% and the temperature rise due to 300 mW/cm2 irradiation exceeded values for hyperthermia. Light and temperature distributions with depth were estimated by a computer model. The model demonstrated the influence of wavelength on the thermal process and proved to be a valuable tool to investigate internal temperature rise. 30536 T00401030536 ^x We investigated the structural geometry of thirty-eight Korean femurs. The purpose of this study is to identify major geometrical differences between Korean femurs 3nd others that we believe belong to Caucasians so that we would be able to get insights into the femoral component design that fits Asians including Koreans. We utilized computerized tomography (CT) images of femurs extracted from cadavers. The CT images were transformed into bitmap data by using a film scanner, and then analyzed by using a commercially available software called Image v.1.0 and a Macintosh IIci computer.The resulting data were compared with already published data. The major results show that the geometry of the Korean femurs is significantly different from that of Caucasians: (1) the anteversion angle and the canal flare index are greater by the amount of approximately 8˚ and 0.5, respectively, (2) the shape of the isthmus cross section is more round, and (3) the distance between the teaser trochanter and the proximal border of the isthmus is shelter by about 15 mm. The results suggested that the femoral component suitable for Asians should be different from the currently-used components designed and manufactured mostly by European or American companies. 30537 T00401030537 ^x It is well known that nonlinear propagation characteristics of the wave in the tissue may give very useful information for the medical diagnoisis. In this paper, a new method to detect nonlinear propagation characteristics of the internal vibration in the tissue for the low frequency mechanical vibration by using bispectral analysis is proposed. In the method, low frequency vibration of f0( = 100Hz) is applied on the surface of the object, and the waveform of the internal vibration x (t) is measured from Doppler frequency modulation of silmultaneously transmitted probing ultrasonic waves. Then, the bispectra of the signal x (t) at the frequencies (f0, f0) and (f0, 2f0) are calculated to estimate the nonlinear propagation characteristics as their magnitude ratio, w here since bispectrum is free from the gaussian additive noise we can get the value with high S/N. Basic experimental system is constructed by using 3.0 MHz probing ultrasonic waves and the several experiments are carried out for some phantoms. To synthesize microspheres for biomedical application, "two stage shot growth method" was developed. The uniformity ratio of synthesized microspheres was always smaller than 1.05. And the surface charge density (or the number of ionizable functional groups) of the microspheres synthesized by "two stage shot growth method" was 6~13 times higher than that of the microspheres synthesized by conventional seeded batch copolymerization. As a previous step for biomedical application, adsorption experiments of bovine albumin on microspheres were carried out under various conditions. Our department has developed an information system for routine hematology using down-sized computer system. The operating system and database management system were SCO UNIX and SCO foxbase, respectively. For program development, we used Xbase language provided by SCO foxbase.   • The wall shear stress in the vicinity of end-to end anastomoses under steady flow conditions was measured using a flush-mounted hot-film anemometer(FMHFA) probe. The experimental measurements were in good agreement with numerical results except in flow with low Reynolds numbers. The wall shear stress increased proximal to the anastomosis in flow from the Penrose tubing (simulating an artery) to the PTFE: graft. In flow from the PTFE graft to the Penrose tubing, low wall shear stress was observed distal to the anastomosis. Abnormal distributions of wall shear stress in the vicinity of the anastomosis, resulting from the compliance mismatch between the graft and the host artery, might be an important factor of ANFH formation and the graft failure. The present study suggests a correlation between regions of the low wall shear stress and the development of anastomotic neointimal fibrous hyperplasia(ANPH) in end-to-end anastomoses. 30523 T00401030523 ^x Air pressure decay(APD) rate and ultrafiltration rate(UFR) tests were performed on new and saline rinsed dialyzers as well as those roused in patients several times. C-DAK 4000 (Cordis Dow) and CF IS-11 (Baxter Travenol) reused dialyzers obtained from the dialysis clinic were used in the present study. The new dialyzers exhibited a relatively flat APD, whereas saline rinsed and reused dialyzers showed considerable amount of decay. C-DAH dialyzers had a larger APD(11.70${\pm}$1.32mmHg/min)compared to CF dialyzers(4.32${\pm}$0.55mmHg/min)(p<0.05). However, there was no observable difference in the UFR between the two dialyzers. Neither APD nor UFR showed any significant increase with an increasing number of reuses for up to more than 20reuses. A substantial number of failures observed in APD(larger than 20mmHe/min)on the reused dialyzers(2 out of 40 CP and S out 26 C-DAK) were attributed to the Possible damage on the fibers. The CF 15-11 HFDs which failed APD test did not show changes in the UFR compared to normal dialyzers indicating that APD is a more sensitive test than UFR test to evaluate the integrity of the fibers. 30527 T00401030527 ^x For quantitative measurement of reflected light from a clinical diagnostic strip, a prototype old reflectance photometer was designed. The purpose of this study is to identify major geometrical differences between Korean femurs 3nd others that we believe belong to Caucasians so that we would be able to get insights into the femoral component design that fits Asians including Koreans. We utilized computerized tomography (CT) images of femurs extracted from cadavers. The CT images were transformed into bitmap data by using a film scanner, and then analyzed by using a commercially available software called Image v.1.0 and a Macintosh IIci computer.The resulting data were compared with already published data. The major results show that the geometry of the Korean femurs is significantly different from that of Caucasians: (1) the anteversion angle and the canal flare index are greater by the amount of approximately 8˚ and 0.5, respectively, (2) the shape of the isthmus cross section is more round, and (3) the distance between the teaser trochanter and the proximal border of the isthmus is shelter by about 15 mm. In the method, low frequency vibration of f0( = 100Hz) is applied on the surface of the object, and the waveform of the internal vibration x (t) is measured from Doppler frequency modulation of silmultaneously transmitted probing ultrasonic waves. Then, the bispectra of the signal x (t) at the frequencies (f0, f0) and (f0, 2f0) are calculated to estimate the nonlinear propagation characteristics as their magnitude ratio, w here since bispectrum is free from the gaussian additive noise we can get the value with high S/N. Basic experimental system is constructed by using 3.0 MHz probing ultrasonic waves and the several experiments are carried out for some phantoms.
