산업구조의 변화와 고령인력의 고용 (Changing Industrial Structure and Employment of Older Workers)

  • 이 논문은 각 산업의 인력고령화 실태를 살펴보고 산업구조의 변화가 고령자에 대한 노동시장 수요 및 고령자의 고용안정성에 미친 영향을 분석하였다. 2001~2010년 사이 고령근로자를 많이 고용한 산업의 고용규모는 상대적으로 축소되어 고령근로자에 대한 노동시장의 상대적인 수요가 감소하였다. 또한 2001~2010년 발생한 산업구조의 변화는 고령근로자의 고용안정성을 낮추는 방향으로 이루어졌다. 논문의 결과는 고령인력의 고용을 증진시키고자 하는 정책을 수립하는 데 있어서 고령자의 노동시장 여건이 전반적으로 호의적이지 못하다는 점과 각 산업의 고령자 고용여건이 매우 이질적이라는 사실을 고려할 필요가 있다는 것을 시사한다.

평일 시간활동패턴을 활용한 도시 인구의 유사노출집단 분류 (Determination of Similar Exposure Groups Using Weekday Time Activity Patterns of Urban Populations)

  • Objectives: Determining the time activity patterns of urban populations is critical when performing an exposure assessment. The purposes of this study were to classify urban populations in Korea by their time activity patterns and to identify factors that influence these patterns. Methods: The time activity patterns of 31,634 and 20,263 individuals were obtained from two national databases collected in 2004 and 2009, respectively. The two largest metropolitan cities in Korea, Seoul and Busan, were selected for this analysis. For each city, multivariate linear regressions were performed to determine factors affecting the time spent in a residence and in transit. We also used cluster analysis to classify each urban population by activity pattern. Results: Nine distinctive activity patterns were identified in the Seoul and Busan populations, respectively, and the resulting classified population groups had specific characteristics. The identified patterns were similar for Seoul and Busan. The most significant factors affecting time spent in a residence were employment status, age, marriage status, education, and gender. Gender, education, employment status, and monthly income were significant factors affecting time spent in transit. Conclusion: These results indicate that, in addition to region, exposure scientists in Korea should consider classifying populations based on age, gender, and occupation.

가사도우미에 의한 가사노동대체, 문화기술적 사례 연구 (A Qualitative Study on the Daily Help Substitution for the Household Work)

  • The purpose of this ethnography is to describe and analyze the employment and substitutional use of daily help for the household work. Ten housewives and one educator of daily help from Gwangju City were interviewed with an unstructured questionnaire. They experience many difficulties from this daily help employment and use, even though they gain some basic help from their service. The diversity of the routes to seek out this daily help means that there is no proper route. And the daily help's sudden quit causes many realistic and psychological problems. Frequent disagreement between the user's demand and help's implement comes from communication failure. Three different management patterns of daily help were issued ; 'conservative-dominant', 'rational-mandatory', 'powerless-dependent'.

제조업 고용구조변화의 특징 분석 (Structural Change and Employment in Manufacturing Sector -Polarization by Firm Size-)

  • This paper presents the relationship between the pace of structural change and the magnitude of employment growth in the manufacturing sector in OECD countries. To measure the pace of structural change, the compositional change index in value-added in manufacturing sector is introduced. For mid to long-term there seems to be a positive relationship between the pace of structural change and the magnitude of employment growth. In those countries with higher value of the compositional index, the employment growth in manufacturing sector was generally higher. To analyse the characteristics of structural change in manufacturing sector, this paper classifies manufacturing industries into groups: one based on technology, one on orientation, one on wages and one on skills. The international comparison of manufacturing sector's employment patterns based on above four classifications are presented. International comparison suggests that Korean manufacturing sector move into jobs with more skills and knowledge The structural change of SMEs and large firms are compared based on above four classification methods. It is shown that SMEs' employment in low value sectors, that is low-technology, labor-intensive, tow-wage, and unskilled sectors, have risen faster than SMEs' employment in high-technology, science-based, high-wage and skilled sectors. Large firms' employment have been mainly increased in high value sectors. However, the employment growth of both large and small firms have been concentrated on production worker-intensively-using sectors, i.e. unskilled sectors. This widened the wage differential of production workers by firm sizes and concurrently led to severe shortage of production workers for SMEs, which has little ability to pay high wage to production workers because they usually belong to low-wage sectors. Korea need to push SMEs forward to high value sectors. The premise of that is, however, to pull large firms out of production worker-intensively-using sectors.

아동기 애착에 관한 일 연구 (A Study of Children's Attachment to Their Mothers in middle Childhood)

  • The purposes of this study were to investigate the children's attachment patterns and the effects of the family-related variables. The interview method was used to know the children's attachment patterns and the questionnaire was used to collect the family-related variables. The subjects were 272 elementary school children ranged 1st grade to 3rd grade in Kwangju. The results were as follows: 1. In the contexts of separation from mother, two major patterns of children's attachment appeared : patterns showed much anxious feeling but accepted the separation; patterns showed much anxious feeling and they rejected the separation. These two patterns were consisted in anxious feeling but inconsisted in responses. 2. Children showed significant differences in their attachment patterns to their mother's early attachment patterns to their mothers, maternal employment, SES of the family, and sex of the child were not found.

기혼여성의 취업이 가구의 소비패턴과 산업별 노동수요에 미치는 영향 (Impacts of Married Women's Employment on Household Consumption Pattern and Industrial Labor Demand)

  • 본 논문은 기혼여성의 취업으로 인해 발생된 소비패턴의 변화와 그로 인해 야기되는 산업별 산출액의 변화 및 노동수요 파생효과를 추정하였다. 분석 결과, 맞벌이가구 증가에 따라 교통비와 교육비, 외식비, 가사서비스 등의 소비가 증가하였다. 이러한 소비패턴 변화로 인해 교육 및 보건업, 음식 숙박업 등 시장서비스업의 노동수요 증가가 야기되었다. 특히 고학력 및 중산층 이상의 기혼여성의 취업 시 취업유발효과가 높았으며, 그로 인해 저숙련 업종의 노동수요를 파생시킬 것으로 추정된다.

외국인 고용허가제 도입에 따른 효율적 노동인력 수급에 관한 연구 (A Study on Efficient Work Force Supply-Demand According to the Employment Permit System for Foreigners)

  • The employment permit system for foreigners, which stresses introduction of foreign work force in a legal manner rather than in the position of being trainees, is anticipated to efficiently improve introduction and the overall management system of foreign work force and related difficulties such as illegal alien problems, absurdity on sending laborers overseas. In this paper, a prospective model of supply and demand of work force has been developed basing on various categories of industries and patterns about nationally practical foreign employees to look over efficient supply and demand of work force suiting employment of foreigner among foreign work force policies. To propose the prospective model, we have derived industry- and pattern-related matrixes of foreign laborers basing on Inter-Industry Analysis Method put forth by Professor Leontiyef in 1930, and through the derived matrix assessed repercussions concerning overall domestic industries and foreigner types and decided yearly weight; the capacity of supply and demand of foreign laborers can be compared through proposed statistical estimation and government estimation by combining the determined weight with yearly incomes of foreign laborers. This paper has thoroughly considered the particularity of our employment permit system for foreigners and applied the Weibull distribution and incorporated the dependence of foreign laborers during the limited period of 3 years to the industry relation analysis, ultimately proposing an efficient supply and demand method about domestic foreign work force.

공공부문에서 고용구조의 최적화 : 호주 고용계획을 위한 시스템 다이내믹스 (Optimising Workforce Structure in Public Sector : the System Dynamics of Employment Planning in Australia)

  • 본 논문은 알고리즘을 활용한 최적화를 바탕으로 한 시스템 다이내믹스 피드백 모델을 통해 고용 시뮬레이션의 특징을 제시하는 목적을 가지고 있고 직위, 근무기간, 계급 등의 요소를 중심으로 적정한 고용 인원을 제시하는 3차원 논리적 판단구조를 제공한다. 호주 육군의 고용정책에 대해 보다 신축적인 고용시스템을 제시할 목적으로 시스템 다이내믹스 모델을 통해 국방부의 변화가 심한 정책에 대한 안정적 고용 적정선을 파악한다. 특히 생산성을 최대로 발휘할 수 있는 필요한 고용 패턴 및 외부 인력의 고용, 내부인력의 타 조직으로 이동 등 다양한 가능성을 분석한다.

자영업부문(自營業部門)을 중심(中心)으로 한 노동력(勞動力)의 유동(流動) (Labor Market Dynamics in the Self-employed Sector in Korea)

  • 본 연구는 자영업부문을 중심으로 한 노동력의 유동 패턴을 분석하였는데, 실업 및 비경제활동을 경유하는 노동력 유동이 중요한 비중을 차지하기는 하지만 그것은 일부의 한계적 노동자에게 집중된 현상인 것임을 보였다. 그러나 자영업주 중에서의 이들 한계적인 노동자의 비중은 적어도 외환위기 전까지는 지속적으로 축소됨으로 해서 자영업주의 평균적인 질과 취업 안정성은 높아져 온 것으로 나타난다. 한편 자영업에 종사한 경험이 있는 자의 비용, 자영업을 장기간 지속할 확률 등은 1990년을 기점으로 감소세에서 증가세로 반전된 것으로 나타난다. 이는 취업자 중의 자영업주 비중의 시계열적인 변화와 일치하는 것으로서 이들 자영업 경험률 및 지속기간의 변화가 자영업주 비중의 시계열상의 변화를 일정부분 설명할 수 있음을 보여준다.

모-자녀간의 의사소통유형과 청소년의 자아정체감에 관한 연구 (Mother Adolescent Communication Patterns' and Ego-Identity Development in Adolescents)

  • The purpose of the present study to investigate relationships among family background factors (i. e. adolescents' sex, mother's educational level and employment status. family's SES, and family types), mother-adolescent communication patterns and ego-identity development of adolescents. The subjects were 169 mother-adolescent dyads living in Seoul. Statistical methods used for the data analysis were frequencies, percentiles, Mean, ANOVA, Duncan's multiple range test, Pearson's product-moment correlation, regression analysis, ANCOVA, and Cronbach's ${\alpha}$. The results were as follows: (1) Significant differences of the adolescents were between family's SES and open communication patterns, between family types and problematic communication patterns. (2) Significant differences of the mothers were between family's SES and open communication patterns, and among family's SES, mother's educational level and problematic communication patterns. (3) There were significant differences in ego-identity of adolescents according to family's SES. (4) There were significant relationships between mother-adolescent communication patterns and the ego-identity development of adolescents. (5) The most influential variable explaining adolescents' ego-identity development was found to be problematic communication patterns perceived by adolescents. Family background factors and mother's communication patterns were not found to have significant effects.
