미취학 자녀를 둔 기혼 취업여성의 시간사용 유형에 관한 연구 (Typology of Time Use of Married Working Women with the Preschool Child(ren) in Korea)

  • This study explored a typology (or time allocation), investigated personal and work characteristic differences among time allocation types, and identified determinants of time allocation types of married working women with a preschool child. The data source for this research was the 2014 Time Use Survey conducted by Statistics Korea. We analyzed 368 time diaries (184 for weekdays and 184 for weekends) using frequency, mean, cluster analysis, chisquare, analysis of variance (ANOVA), Duncan's test, and multinomial logistic analysis. The results of this research are as follows. Time allocation of married working women with a preschool child was classified into three different types of 'work-centered,' 'work-family balanced,' and 'family-centered.' The work-centered type accounted for 14.7% of total respondents, and compared with other types, this type of people spent more time working, and less time doing house-work, caring for family, and having leisure. The work-family balanced type represents more than half of the total, and spend more time working on weekdays and house-working, having leisure on weekends. The family-centered type represents 28.8%, and spends most of the time doing house-work and caring for family on both weekdays and weekends. Occupation, employment status, monthly income, and weekly hours of work were different for each type. Occupation, employment status, perception of lack of time, health condition, and weekly hours of work were identified as determinants for each type.

  • In this paper, in order to clarify the effect and characteristics of rural women enterprise in rural areas, AWATAKE Restaurant at Kita Ward, Kobe is taken as a case study, and its management and operation condition, and the effects towards the region are analyzed. As a result, it can be concluded that: 1) according to the local employment and purchase of local food products, the economic effect towards the area shows a returning 73% of the gross sales to the area, 2) lifestyle technology which is empowered by women and food culture which is used as a start in the enterprise activities, are functioning as new workplace to cultivate technologies own by the women, moreover, members have never decreased, and most of them stayed for as long as 10 years, 3) however, the average age of the members are high and decreasing, leaving a new task on how to encourage participation of young members, 4) lastly, rural women enterprise is easy to manage, and also received cooperation from family in the members' working environment.

혈액투석 환자의 스트레스와 영향 요인 (Factors Influencing the Stress of Patients on Hemodialysis)

  • Purpose: Patients on hemodialysis need to manage the stress of having a life-threatening condition. The purpose of this study was to identify factors associated with stress among patients on hemodialysis. Methods: The research had a cross-sectional, descriptive design using a questionnaire. The participants were 91 adult patients on hemodialysis from four dialysis centers in a large Korean city. Data were analyzed with the SAS 9.2 program using descriptive statistics, t-tests, ANOVA, and multiple regression. Results: There were statistically significant differences in stress by age, dialysis period, and change in employment status. In hemodialysis patients, stress was significantly positive correlated with fatigue and depression, but negatively correlated with self-esteem. Stepwise multiple regression analysis for stress revealed that the most powerful predictor was depression. Depression and fatigue explained 32.5% of the variance. Conclusion: The results indicate a need to manage the stress of these patients. The findings also suggest that consideration be given to characteristics of age, dialysis period, and employment status in developing strategies to reduce depression and fatigue and developing programs to manage the stress of patients on hemodialysis.

Human Capital and Methodic of Determination of Its Cost: A Case of Kazakhstan

  • This research is aimed the furthest development of the conception of Human capital formation. The study made on the base of methods of scientific classification and systematization; dialectical method and the method of scientific abstraction, systematic and comparative analysis; expert assessment and ratings. Formation of the competitive human capital is one of the most important goals of modern development of Kazakhstan in condition of the innovative economy construction. In this context the necessity of formation and development of the effective human capital considerably increases. Realization of this requires definition of a technique of measurement of its cost as well. The authors attempt to calculate the value of human capital for Kazakhstan during independency time. In order to determine the methods of its quantitative and qualitative assessment different methodological ways for human capital research are studied. On the basis of the study, it was revealed that formation of the competitive human capital can't be considered in a separation from development and modernization of system of quality education, improvement of the employment sphere, worthy payment for work.

스케일링 처치 시 대상자가 느끼는 치과불안도와 자기효능감의 관련성 (Relationship between dental anxiety and self-efficacy that patients feel while dental hygienist conduct scaling)

  • This study was conducted to find out the relationship between dental anxiety and self-efficacy, physical and psychological condition and expected self-efficacy. The objective of this study was also to provide foundation for appropriate dental hygiene intervention model for scaling. In this study, anxiety reactions were measured among 178 patients, who made appointment with dental hygienists for scaling between May and July, 2009. The analysis was done in SPSS 12.0 statistical program which confirmed Cranach's alpha value. Technical statistics, t-test and One-way ANOVA, correlation and regression were also used. The result of the study is following: While dental hygienist conducts scaling, the dental anxiety was each measured in following categories: Thus male, age between 40 and 50, single, high school graduated and unemployed were measured highest dental anxiety among various groups. Dental Fear Scale demonstrated the validity of relationship between dental anxiety and self efficacy. The correlation was equated as r=-.409(p<0.01). In the other words, the higher self efficacy, the lower dental anxiety. The relationship between dental anxiety and physical and physiological condition was relevant. Physical condition was r=-.229(p<0.01) And then, the psychological condition was r=-.299(p<0.01). Thus, better physical and physiological condition results in less dental anxiety. The relationship between expected Self-efficacy and dental anxiety is also valid. The dental anxiety after performance accomplishment is r=-.239(p<0.01), after vicarious experience is r=-.195(p<0.01), after verbal persuasion is r=-.152(p<0.05), after recognition of physiological state is r=-.410(p<0.01). In conclusion, sex, age, marital status, education level, employment, physical condition, physiological condition are all relevant to dental anxiety(F=8.834). Both independent and dependent variables p<.05 have 37.5% persuasiveness.

중소 병.의원 근무환경 실태조사 (Research on the Actual Condition of Working Conditions in the Small and Medium Clinics)

  • 서울, 경기 지역의 중소 병 의원 회원들의 근무환경 실태를 파악하여, 국민보건증진과 무면허자의 방사선 검사업무 금지, 사기진작과 불만족해소, 직무만족도를 높여 복지와 권익을 향상, 정책 참여를 유도, 근무환경 개선에 목적이 있다. 2003년 7월부터 8월까지 271명을 대상으로 일반적 기본사항, 병실 수, 고용실태, 고용 및 업무범위, 이직빈도, 고용계약서 작성여부, 임금실태, 근무환경, 방사선사 호칭, 방사선안전관리, 품질관리, 방사선 차폐시설, 영상획득시스템, 필름시스템 종류, 장비보유현황, 방사선 피폭 방어기구, 협회와 관련된 항목을 설문 조사하였다. 근무환경, 불만족 문제점을 파악하여, 합리적이고 나은 근무환경을 제공하는 기초 자료로 활용하는데 이용하고, 근무환경 및 근무제도, 직제의 개선을 가져올 수 있도록 협회와 회원은 노력하여야한다. 주기적으로 설문조사를 실시하고 불만족을 해소하는 정책을 추진하도록 한다.

보건의료서비스 이용자의 사회경제적 특성이 보건의료서비스의 여건변화 지각에 미치는 영향 (The Impacts of Socio-Economic Characteristics on the Services User's Perception by the Change of Social Condition in Healthcare Services)

  • 본 연구 목적은 보건의료서비스 이용자의 사회경제적 특성이 보건의료서비스의 여건변화 지각에 미치는 영향을 파악하는 것이다. 연구대상은 우리나라 전국 표본가구원을 대상으로 설정하고, 자료는 층화비례계통추출방법을 이용하여 37,648개의 유효표본을 추출한 국가통계자료를 이용하였다. 통계분석은 인과관계를 확인하기 위하여 회귀모형을 설정하여 분석하였으며 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 여자는 남자에 비하여 보건의료서비스에 대한 여건변화 지각이 긍정적이었다. 둘째, 연령이 증가할수록 보건의료서비스에 대한 여건변화 지각이 긍정적이었다. 셋째, 교육수준이 증가할수록 보건의료서비스에 대한 여건변화 지각이 긍정적이었다. 넷째, 가구소득이 증가할수록 보건의료서비스에 대한 여건변화 지각이 부정적이었다. 다섯째, 근로(고용)형태에서 임시근로자와 일용근로자는 상근근로자와 비교하여 보건의료서비스에 대한 여건변화 지각이 부정적이었다. 여섯째, 동부 거주자는 읍면부 거주자보다 보건의료서비스에 대한 여건변화 지각이 부정적이었다. 결론으로 사회경제적 특성은 보건의료서비스 여건변화 지각에 영향을 미친다고 할 수 있으며, 보건의료서비스 이용자의 여건변화 지각이 수혜적 측면에서 긍정적으로 작용하고 있다고 볼 수 있다.

실질환율 충격이 대구·경북지역 제조업체 생산성 및 고용에 미치는 파급효과 분석 (The Effect of Real Exchange Rate Depreciation Shock on Productivity and Employment for Manufacturing Firms in Daegu-Gyeongbuk Region)

  • 본 연구에서는 2006~2012년 동안 대구경북지역 926개의 제조업체 패널자료를 사용하여 실질환율절하 충격이 기업의 총요소생산성, 고용 등에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 연간 실질실효환율 하락(원화가치 하락)은 대구경북지역 수출 기업들의 부가가치 및 노동생산성, 총요소생산성을 높이는 결과를 가져왔고, 특히 기업의 수출의존도가 높을수록 이런 긍정적인 효과가 더 크게 나타났다. 그러나 실질실효 환율 하락이 지속될수록 생산성 증가 효과가 사라졌다. 이는 실질실효환율 하락이 지역내 수출기업들의 시장에서 가격경쟁력 확보를 담보하여 단기적으로는 생산성 증가에 긍정적인 영향을 미치지만, 실질실효 환율 하락이 지속될 경우 오히려 기업의 효율적인 자원배분 및 핵심역량 개발 노력에 부정적인 영향을 미쳐 생산성 증가가 지속되지 않았음을 내포하고 있다. 대구경북지역 기업들은 가격 경쟁력 확보에만 초점하여 해외시장에 진출, 조업하기보다 국내 및 국외시장에서 실질적인 경쟁력을 키우는 전략을 수립하고 핵심기술을 배양해야 한다. 또한 지방자치단체 및 정책 당국은 환율 변화와 같은 명목 정책변수에만 주목하기 보다는 지역기업들의 실질적인 경쟁력 제고를 위한 기술 혁신 및 R&D 투자 촉진 등 구체적인 투자 및 금융 지원방안을 마련해야 한다.

여성의 경력단절 기간별 생애사건 효과분석 (The Life Course Events and the Career Interruption among Korean Women)

  • 본 연구는 경력단절여성의 경력단절기간을 생애주기사건과 노동시장조건의 효과를 중심으로 분석하였다. 2009년 여성부의 의뢰를 받아서 한국여성정책연구원이 수집한 "경력단절여성 재취업실태조사" 자료와 다항로짓 방법론을 이용하여, 경력단절여성들의 단절기간을 단기, 중기, 중장기, 그리고 장기로 분류하여 인구학적 변인, 인적자원수준, 생애주기사건, 그리고 노동시장조건이 경력단절기간에 미치는 효과를 분석하였다. 분석결과에 따르면, 재취업의 조건으로 여성들은 자신의 적성과 육아병행에 적합한 일자리 확보를 지적하였다. 또한 여성의 연령이 낮을수록, 인적자원수준이 높을수록, 그리고 노동시장에서의 임금수준이 높을수록 여성들은 장기간 경력단절(60개월 이상)보다는 단기(12개월 미만)의 경력단절을 경험할 확률이 높아지는 것으로 나타났다. 아울러 자녀수가 많을수록, 그리고 자녀양육으로 인해 경력단절을 경험한 여성들이 차별로 인해 단절을 경험한 여성들에 비해 재취업시기가 더 빠른 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 유아기나 초등학교 연령의 자녀를 둔 여성들은 장기적인 경력단절을 경험할 확률이 매우 높은 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 연구결과는 여성근로자들의 지속적인 노동시장 참여를 위해서 일가족양립의 제도와 문화조성이 시급하다는 점을 강조한다. 동시에, 자녀양육 이외의 차별적 경험이 장기간의 경력단절을 이끄는 요인으로 나타난 바, 이에 대한 개선정책이 마련될 필요가 있다.

데이터마이닝을 이용한 유치치아우식증 관련요인 분석 (Effect of Mothers' Oral Health Knowledge and Behaviour on Dental Caries in Their Preschool Children)

  • In order to investigate correlation between mother's dental ca re for her children and their dental caries, this study was conducted wi th the dental examination record of 365 children who showed the same number of questionnaires with those examined for dental conditions and questionnaires written by mothers among children between three and six years of age and their mothers in Yeoncheon, Gyeonggi province in June 2004 to estimate frequency and percentage of general properties of subjects and mother's oral health care behaviors for her children by research items, to carry out cross-tabulation analysis and correlation analysis following Chi-square distribution for the presence of dental caries in deciduous teeth and oral health care behaviors, and to use decision tree analysis among data mining techniques for those factors associated with the presence of dental caries in deciduous teeth, and drew the following conclusions. 1. For mother's oral health care behaviors and attitudes for her children, 225 mothers(61.6%) confirmed their children's teeth-brushing; 278(76.2%) used no fluorine; and 286(78.6%) observed their children's teeth, 322 mothers(88.2%) instructed their children in teeth-brushing while 268 (73.4%) provided dental care, 232 mothers(63.7%) treated their children's cavity; 290(79.4%) believed that their children had good dental conditions; and 294(80.5%) answered that they began to provide their children with dental care in deciduous teeth. 2. As for the presence of dental caries in deciduous teeth and dental health care behaviors, there were statistically significant differences in employment, confirmation after teeth-brushing, teeth observation, instruction in time for teeth-brushing, use of fluorine, cavity treatment, time for dental care, and perception of dental conditions(p<0.05). 3. As for correlation between dental caries in deciduous teeth and oral health care behaviors, mothers who worked, who believed that their children didn't have good dental condition, and who thought that it was necessary to begin to provide dental care in permanent teeth were found to get their children to suffer from dental caries in deciduous teeth. Besides, those who failed to confirm teeth-brushing, who used no fluorine, and who failed to observe teeth and gave no instruction in time for teeth-brushing were shown to get their children to suffer from dental caries in deciduous teeth. 4. Variables to determine the presence of dental caries in deciduous teeth were classified by cavity treatment, mother's employment, time for dental care, and observation of children's teeth. The first node to determine the presence of dental caries in deciduous teeth was found to be cavity treatment; the next criteria for classification after cavity treatment were shown to be mother's employment and time for dental care. In case of children with no cavity, they were found to be mother's employment and teeth observation.
