안도 타다오 건축에 나타난 사색 공간의 표현 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Characteristic of the Speculation Space of Architecture find on Tadao Ando)

  • Construction space of Japan suggests the factor of speculation to human and reveals tradition. The speculation can be embodied in the aspect of space and human's mental aspect is expressed as a main factor of tradition space of Japan. The purpose of this study is to research expression characteristic of speculation space, shown in the architecture of modem architect, Tadao Ando, who succeeds the concept. His works surveyed through research contain the emotion of nature and human, which are traditional factors of Japan. Moreover, it is reinterpreted by modem space, delivers its function of space and physical factor to user and grants value to activity and behavior of user residing in the space. Users recognize movement, create new meaning of space and accept physical barrier in the space. In conclusion, it can be said that the space of speculation is not a simple visual thing but a frame of visual structure, which is invented for embodiment. The factors show the Japanese architecture, real and contemplating one, which is positive in real life and allows experience. Through the conditions above, the researcher can find the meaning from the aspect that modem architecture of Japan is planned on the basis of concept of speculation.

스타일리시 호텔의 공간이미지와 선호도 -스타일리시의 언어이미지와 색채이미지를 중심으로- (Space Image and Preference of Stylish Hotel -Focusing on Verbal Image and Color Image of 'Stylish'-)

  • 본 연구는 스타일리시 호텔에 대한 공간이미지와 선호도에 관한 연구이며, 아울러 선행연구인 성별 및 연령에 따른 스타일리시의 언어이미지와 색채이미지에 관해 조사 결과 중 미니멀스타일배색에 대한 검증연구이다. 연구결과 성별 및 연령에 있어서 유의한 차이를 보이지 않았으며, 스타일리시 호텔의 공간이미지와 언어이미지의 상관성을 알아보고자 대표 언어를 추출한 결과, 개성적인, 감각적인, 심플한, 도시적인 등으로 인식하여 공간이미지에 대해 스타일리시하게 느끼는 것으로 파악되었다. 또한 공간이미지와 선호도에서는 로비공간의 B호텔, 식음공간의 C호텔, 객실공간의 A호텔로 나타났으며, 색채이미지와 선호도에서는 각각 고명도 저채도, 저명도 저채도로 나타났다. 이것은 선행연구의 가장 스타일리시 한 것으로 인식한 미니멀스타일배색과 동일한 결과로 응답자들은 스타일리시 호텔의 공간이미지에 대해 언어적으로는 세련되고 감각적이며 개성적인 것으로 인식하면서 시각적으로는 고명도 저채도, 저명도 저채도의 공간을 스타일리시 한 것으로 인식하고 있음이 밝혀졌다. 본 연구는 향후 스타일리시한 공간 연출 및 디자인 마케팅을 위해 새로운 디자인 방향을 제시하는 데 그 목적이 있다.

  • With today's new media environment throughout Ubiquitous information innovation, live and dynamic fluid space is being created by integrating organic integration between electronic space and physical space and transplanting intelligence to materials. In other words, perception occurs in fluid space itself in a new media environment so has complicatedly organic relationship with environment and humans. In addition, emotion, time and movement have actively attempted to enter the space so designs appealing to humans' emotions are made through stimulation of synaesthetic sensory organs. This can be understood in the same context that media is eventually expansion of human body. Fluid space has characteristics of a live organism with factors such as sensor, perception and behavior so it needs to interpret perceptual system relationally and synthetically through an organic study method. This study looks into characteristics of organic perceptual system in terms of the meaning that fluid space with movements have as the sensory-perceptive subject and accordingly makes the world more sufficient as the third space, prepares a possibility to get out of limited five senses, and will develop fluid space as the organic environment making stimulation by itself.

  • This research is focused on the emotion rather than the logic, the present building up the Market toward clients' relationship and the communication through the most direct Contact Space in Non-Mass Media Communication. This research's purposes are to classify Space Communication kinds to analyze how the each element could affect on Brand Identity Strength and to provide the way to appeal the Brand Image as the corporation intends and to analyze Corporations and Clients' value from Space Communication. The process of this research is following. Analysis of the Space Communication, which mentioned above and the value, which was obtained from it, and analysis through the Brand, which uses the Space to build the Brand Identity with positive Brand Image and the conclusion. In Conclusion, we need to analyze the identity of each Brand and do positioning to make outstanding Brand through analysis. Because outstanding scheme varies on deciding to communicate through the Space to satisfy clients with outstanding plan or clients' sex, age, profession, resign though appealing same Brand identity, the Space Identity should be flexible depends on area and target market.

도시공간에 있어서 둘러싸인감의 적용방법에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Application Method for the Enclosed Effect in the Space of Cities)

  • 본 연구는 일본의 도시공간을 중심으로 D/H와 둘러싸인감이 어느 정도 관련성이 있는지 평가하였다. 동일 샘플에 대해 D/H의 각도 순위와 실험자가 느끼는 실제공간의 둘러싸인감 순위를 순위상관분석을 통해 평가한 결과 42개의 전체샘플(0.49), 25개의 내부공간 샘플(0.63), 17개의 외부공간 샘플(0.59)의 상관성이 낮은 것으로 분석되었다. 따라서 D/H의 각도로 현대의 공간을 설명하는 것은 한계성이 있는 것으로 분석되었다. 이러한 결과는 현대도시는 공간구조가 복잡한 요소로 구성되어 있어 과거의 D/H와 둘러싸인감 이론을 바탕으로 공간을 평가하는 것은 한계성이 있다. 따라서 앞으로 둘러싸인감을 평가하기 위해서는 새로운 평가모델이 구축되어야 할 것이며 도시공간과 둘러싸인감의 영향에 관한 연구가 필요하다.

  • 미래에는 로봇이 사람의 감정 상태를 이해하거나 적절하게 자신의 행동을 표현하는 기능은 중요해 질 것이다. 사람간의 교류에서 메세지의 93%가 행동 표현에 있으며, 바디 랭귀지는 감정의 양을 표현하므로 행동 표현은 중요한 감정 표현 수단이다. 최근의 로봇들은 얼굴, 제스처, LED, 소리 등의 복합적 방법을 이용하여 사람과 교류하고 있지만 포즈는 위치와 방위, 얼굴이나 제스처는 속도, 말이나 색 풍은 시간에 대한 정보가 필요하기 때문에 하나의 모델로 통합하거나 동기화 시키기 어렵다. 한편 작은 세기의 감정에서, 얼굴은 쉽게 표현이 가능하지만 제스처는 표현이 힘들다. 또한 기존의 감정 경계는 같은 형태와 크기를 가지거나, HHI 분야에 국한되어 연구되어 왔다. 본 논문에서는 정서 공간에서 감정의 경계를 어떻게 정의할 것이며, 복합적 표현 방법을 시스템적으로 어떻게 동기화할 수 있을지를 제안한다.

  • The study of space through image evaluation has reached the stage of measuring the emotion with the development of IT technology and the advent of VR AR era. Many researches have been trying to evaluate the space and measure the emotion in objective form by providing various forms of spatial images such as photographs, sketches, and CG. In order for these studies to be used as objective data with logical relevance, it is necessary to describe in detail the method of collecting the data used in the experiment, the characteristics of the test procedure, and the method of analysis. This study is a basic study for constructing a database by systematically organizing the attributes, experimental methods and experimental procedures of subjects. From the viewpoint of securing the objectivity and reproducibility of the paper, we analyzed the spatial image evaluation process focusing on 1) evaluation subject, 2) experimental method, and 3) analysis standard. It is necessary to examine whether the object of evaluation and the form of image and the method of providing it meet the purpose of the study. In addition, the size and order of the image, the viewing time and the interval (break time) should be different according to the gender and group experiment and the individual test method.

  • Furniture in the modern living environment, inclusive the importance of its practical value, is a plastic element of indoor space, and its artistic value also holds an important position. Moreover, emotional design based on the emotional engineering in a structural change of modern society such as urbanization, small family, aging society is proposed as an important keyword in the modern design. Namely, furniture as an component of modern residential space has been advanced as a human-oriented environmental element considering people's emotional and mental value to the functional satisfaction and artistic and emotional satisfaction. Furniture is a living tool that is much contacted to people, which affects highly on people's body and mind. This means that people's volition action can be naturally induced by furniture design, and that furniture can display a role as an active tool of means to make people's interpersonal communication and interchange. Namely, I think furniture design of emotional interchange that understands furniture user's pattern behavior and pattern, and observes furniture form and structure and functionality on users' relationship affecting on people's emotional stability and interpersonal interchange of emotion, as an indispensable element necessary for producing more human and prosperous environment of life.

퍼지이론을 이용한 색채계획 지능형 에이전트 시스템 개발 (The development of intelligent agent system on color planning using fuzzy theory)

  • 본 논문에서는 퍼지이론을 이용하여 색채공간의 사용자가 원하는 분위기에 해당하는 언어 입력에 따라 조화로운 색채공간을 설계해가는 의사결정 보조 시스템을 개발하였다. 개발된 시스템에서 형용사 이미지 스케일의 언어적인 입력이 주어지면 형용사와 색채와의 관계를 퍼지관계로 가정하고 색채공간의 전체적인 분위기에 맞는 색채가 선택되며 퍼지화된 Moon-Spencer등의 색채조화에 관한 지식은 어울리는 조화색 결정의 탐색 영역을 제한하는 역할을 담당하고 이에 따라 조화색이 결정된다.

생체신호 측정을 통한 운전자의 감정적 안정상태 평가 (Assessment of Driver's Emotional Stability by Using Bio-signals)

  • Objective: The aim of this study is to introduce a methodology to assess driver's emotion stability by using bio-signals. Background: Psychophysiological analysis of driver's behavior has been conducted to improve the driving safety and comfort. However, the variability of bio-signal and individual difference made it difficult to assess the psychophysiological status of drivers that can be expressed as emotional stability of drivers. Method: Two experimental studies were reviewed and summarized. New techniques assessing emotional stability of drivers were explained. Statistical concept and multidimensional space were used to identify the emotionally stable conditions. Conclusion: Psychophysiological approach can provide information of driver's emotional status. The experimental methodology and algorithm used in this study showed the possibility of parameterization of psychophysiological response. Application: Currently measured statistical and geometrical data can be further applied to develop an interactive device monitoring and reacting driver's emotion when driver experiences emotionally unstable or uncomfortable situation.
