  • Sharp tips are commonly used for applications in fields as diverse as nanolithography, lowvoltage field emitters, emitters, nanoelectroniecs, electrochemisty, cell biology, field-ion and electron microscopy. tungsten wire, mater만 used in this experiment, which test the chip of wafer has been used to the needle of probe card. Tungsten wire was sharpened by electrochemical etching methode to get a typical tip shape.

  • The electrochemical properties of novel metal powders were investigated for the electrode materias of polymer electrolyte memebrane electrolysis. Two types of Pt black and $IrO_2$ powder electrodes were hot-pressed on the polymer electrolyte membrane to form membrane electrode assembly. The galvanodynamic polarization methode was used to characterize the electrochemical properties of both electrodes. From the experimental results, we concluded that the $IrO_2$ powder electrode exhibits better electrochemical performance than Pt black as cathode material for the electrolysis.

  • 본 연구에서는 ESD(Electrostatic spray deposition) 코팅법을 이용하여 지르코늄 산화물을 티타늄에 코팅한 전극을 제조하였다. 전처리과정에서 티타늄 기판의 에칭 방법 효율과 에칭된 티타늄 기판에 지르코늄 산화물 막의 제조 및 전기 화학적 특성에 대하여 연구하였다. 염산 에칭은 티타늄 기판에 가늘고 균일한 홈이 생성된다. 강력한 산화제로 사용되는 오존과 차아염소산을 생성하는 효과적인 금속 산화물 전극의 제작과 물질의 특성에 대해 고찰하였고 참고문헌을 통해 지그코늄 산화물에 초점을 맞추었다. 지르코늄 산화물 전극의 제작의 재현성을 향상시키기 위한 코팅 방법으로 지르코늄 옥시클로라이드의 ESD 코팅법을 사용하였다. 티타늄 기판 위에 지르코늄 산화물 막의 형성에 대한 테스트로 SEM, XRD, Cyclic voltammery를 수행하였다.

  • Dye-sensitized solar cell (DSC) consist of oxidation semiconduction electrode, electrolyte and counter electrode. Among these, Pt as counter electrode of DSC plays a role in helping redox reaction of iodine ions in electrolyte, also, transferring electrons into electrolyte. In this case, it is expected that characteristics of Pt electrodes strongly depend on fabrication process and its surface condition. In this study, electrochemical behavior of the electro-plated Pt electrode was compared with that of the sputtered Pt electrode, using cyclic-voltammetry and impedance spectroscopy (PARSTATE 2273, by AMETEK). Surface morphology of Pt electrode was investigated by AFM (XE-100, by PSIA). As a result, it was considered that electrochemical properties of sputtered Pt electrode is superior to that of electro-plated Pt electrode.

  • We studied electrochemical properties of $TiO_2$ photoelectrode based graphene for dye-sensitized solar cells(DSSC). Gaphene has good electric conductivity and it is very good transparent when this is coated on monolayer. we prepared photoelectrode by squeeze methode and researched photoelectrical properties of $TiO_2$ electrode base gaphene. DSSC based on graphene was obtained conversion efficiency of 5.4% under irradiation of AM 1.5(100 $mWcm^2$).

  • Metal sulfides are good candidates for cathode materials. Especially, iron sulfides and nickel sulfides have been demonstrated to be potential electrode materials among metal sulfides due to nontoxicity and high theoretical specific capacities. Electrochemical properties (capacity, cycle life, stability etc.) of Li/iron sulfides or nickel sulfides cell were improved by methode such as coating, doping of material, and nanoization of materials etc.

  • We have investigated the $LiMn_2O_4$system as an cathode material for lithium rechargeable batteries. $LiMn_2O_4$spinel oxides have been synthesized by a solid state methode. We varied sintering time at a fixed sintering temperature of 75$0^{\circ}C$. In order to investigate the electrochemical properties of prepared $LiMn_2O_4$we assembled three-electrode cells using the working electrode as active material and Li metal as the counter and reference electrodes. The electrolyte was 1 M LiPE$_{6}$-EC:DEC(1:1 by volume). The particle size of sample synthesized at 75$0^{\circ}C$ ranged about 60$\mu m$. The discharge capacity of a cell involving spinel $LiMn_2O_4$ increased with increasing sintering time.e.

304 스테인리스강의 착색 처리 조건이 표면 특성에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Coloring Condition on the Surface Characteristic of 304 Stainless Steel)

  • 304 stainless steel plate was colored by hot dip and electrochemical treatment in a solution containing sulphuric and chromic acids. In the process, treatment variables such as operating time and methode were changed. The surface characteristics that changed by the treatment of the samples such as surface composition, oxide film thickness, color, surface roughness and reflectivity were studied. Surface composition was varied as follows. Fe was decreased, but Cr and O were increased. Ni was increased until 20 min, but reveals decreasing tendency as time passed after that. These means the surface film becomes chrome rich oxide phase as the treatment times increase. The thickness of film was about 220 nm at 30 min by dip treatment and it reduced as the treatment times increased. On the other hand, the thickness was about 150 nm at 10 min by electrochemical method and it doesn't increased with time. Surface color changed from metallic white of the base plate to gray, black, red, and green-blue, gradually, as the treating time increased. The reflectivity of colored surface measured by UVVIS-NIR spectrophotometer was reduced from max 38% of basis metal to min 3.5%.

  • Recently, a study on the energy conversion efficiency and up sizing' technology of dye-sensitized solar cell (DSC) which is focused in considering a new alternative solar cell has been executed. But consideration for the cell characteristics about an internal electronic flow on a large-scaled DSC has not been carried out yet. In this study, we have chosen a solar cell width as a variable of a large-scaled DSCs and confirmed electric characteristics of an individual cell. First, Pt counter electrode surface of DSC is deposited by RF sputtering methode and the electrochemical properties of Pt electrodes was investigated by cyclic -voltammetry. With the Pt electrode, we fabricated DSC samples of different width. As a result, the higher the internal resistance of DSC becomes, the wider the width gets. Internal resistance makes it difficult to collect photoelectron generated from dye. Ultimately up sizing DSC causes the increase of internal resistance and then has a bad effect on the cell characteristics.

팔라듐에 관한 수소저장과 팽창거동에 관한 수치해석 (Numerical Study on Hydrogen Absorption and Expansion Behavior on Palladium)

  • In order to calculate the relation between the hydrogen and the hydrogen absorption metals in the atomic level, Embedded Atom Method(EAM) is recommended. In this study, we had constructed the EAM programs from constitutive formulas and parameters of the hydrogen and palladium for the purpose of predicting the expansion behavior on hydrogen absorbing in the geometric shape of hydrogen absorption metals, as palladium bars and plates. And the EAM analyses data were compared with the experiment data by using electrochemical method. As results, it is note that the expansion rate in thickness of the palladium plate model by EAM analyses is about 4 times larger than width and length, be similar to experiment results. Also, in the microscopic and macroscopic level the expansion behavior through EAM analyses show good agreement with experiment data.
