  • The doping process of the solar cell has been used by furnace or laser. But these equipment are so expensive as well as those need high maintenance costs and production costs. The atmospheric pressure plasma doping process can enable to the cost reduction. Moreover the atmospheric pressure plasma can do the selective doping, this means is that the atmospheric pressure plasma regulates the junction depth and doping concentration. In this study, we analysis the atmospheric pressure plasma doping compared to the conventional furnace doping. the single crystal silicon wafer doped with dopant forms a P-N junction by using the atmospheric pressure plasma. We use a P type wafer and it is doped by controlling the plasma process time and concentration of dopant and plasma intensity. We measure the wafer's doping concentration and depth by using Secondary Ion Mass Spectrometry (SIMS), and we use the Hall measurement because of investigating the carrier concentration and sheet resistance. We also analysis the composed element of the surface structure by using X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), and we confirm the structure of the doped section by using Scanning electron microscope (SEM), we also generally grasp the carrier life time through using microwave detected photoconductive decay (u-PCD). As the result of experiment, we confirm that the electrical character of the atmospheric pressure plasma doping is similar with the electrical character of the conventional furnace doping.

  • Objectives : The purpose of this study was to compare the effect of needle retention(NR) and electro-acupuncture of low(EA(L)) and high(EA(H)) frequencies at Haegye($ST_{41}$) on intestinal hypermotility induced with carbachol in rats Methods : We made over-activated state of intestinal motility with carbachol in rats and caried out needle retention acupuncture, low frequency electro-acupuncture and high frequency electro-acupuncture at Haegye($ST_{41}$) or sham point in rat devided into pre-treatment group and post-treatment group. And we resulted as followings from measuring charcoal travel rate with observation of intestinal motility. Results : 1. None of acupuncture, low frequency electro-acupuncture and high frequency electro-acupuncture at $ST_{41}$ had significant influences on intestinal motility of rat in normal state. 2. Pre-treated with acupuncture, low frequency electro-acupuncture and high frequency electro-acupuncture and post-treated with acupuncture and low frequency electro-acupuncture at $ST_{41}$ didn't significantly influences intestinal motility in rat which over-activated with carbachol. 3. Post-treated with high frequency electro-acupuncture at $ST_{41}$ suppressed intestinal motility in rat which over-activated with carbachol. Conclusions : These results suggest that treatment high frequency electro-acupuncture at ST41 may be effective on gastric disorders such as intestinal hypermotility and its effect had more cure than prevention.

  • The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of ElectroMyoscope(Electro_Acuscope and Myopulse) in tissue repairing on fatigue quadriceps femoris(rectus femoris, vastus lateralis, vastus intermedius, and vastus medialis). Subjects were female adult volunteers with (n=13) and without (n=5) chronic fatigue muscle pain. We needed to fatigue the rectus femoris by overusing of a Cybex machine exercise. We turned the Electro-Myoscope to treatment mode and treated with treatment probe on the fatigue muscle, then turned instrument back to EMG and took the reading. The results indicated that the reading after the treatment was lower than before the treatment. A two-tailed t-test and Chi square indicated significant results(P<.03). It appears that the Electro-Myoscope is effective in treatment on the fatigue muscle.

  • 'Electronic paper (EP)' provides desirable viewing characteristics of paper with being thin, lightweight, flexible, and recordable with minimal power consumption. Currently, a number of different technologies to realize the EP are actively competing. Here we demonstrate a newly developed monolayer rotating ball (MRB) electronic paper display where optically anisotropic rotating balls were disposed in a monolayer, and controllably closely packed with respect to one another. The close packed monolayer configuration provides high brightness and improved contrast with better electrical and optical features in comparison with the typical (Gyrion) rotating ball display. In this talk, we present characteristics of the MRB display in terms of performance, with particular emphasis on the response time as a function of the electric field.
