  • Recently, as the road capacity reaches the limit and environmental problems becomes serious, there is gradually increased a need for railroad vehicles that are environment-friendly and have time regularity, reliability and safety. Accordingly, in addition to conventional railroad vehicles, lots of vehicles are being newly developed. We developed the hardware and software of the measurement system for on-line test and evaluation of korean hish speed train. The software controls the hardware of the measurement data and acts as interface between users and the system hardware. In this paper, we is studied for electric apparatus performance of railway vehicle using sensor. In order to this test is developed signal conversion system. Using this system, we obtained important result for pantograph voltage, battery voltage, axle speed, and running speed.

  • This paper deals with the characteristic analysis of electro-magnet (EM)-permanent magnet (PM) hybrid levitation and propulsion device for magnetically levitated (maglev) vehicles. Several machine characteristics such as levitation force with/without control current and thrust are described. In order to verify the analysis results and feasibility of high-speed operation of the maglev vehicle, real-scale static test set is implemented and tested.

  • This paper presents a method for designing a high power motor that is applicable to electric vehicles. Interior Permanent Magnet (IPM) type motor which has high efficiency and high durability is selected. To apply for the electric vehicles, a form, a tire and a wheel of vehicles are considered when calculating a motor performance. After calculating a motor performance, space harmonic analysis and FEA(Finite Element Analysis) is used for designing In-Wheel motor.

  • 본 논문은 차량 영역에 나타나는 수평, 수직 에지 특성만을 이용하여 빠르고 효율적으로 차량을 검출하는 방법을 제안한다. 차량을 포함하는 입력영상의 긴 수직 에지 성분을 찾아 차량의 후보 영역을 결정한다. 영상의 에지 성분의 누적 대신 연속적으로 나타나는 긴 수직 에지 성분을 찾음으로써 차량의 후보 영역의 검출과 동시에 중요한 정보를 담고 있는 도로와 접하는 차량의 하단부를 함께 검출한다. 후보 영역 내에서 차량과 비 차량을 구분하는 검증 단계에서는 차량의 후면의 대칭성(Symmetry)을 이용하여 후보 영역 내에서 차량이 있을 가능성이 있는 바닥 점 위에서 좌측과 우측의 유사도(Matching rate)를 이용하여 차량과 비 차량을 판별한다. 기존의 템플릿 기반 방법이나 외관 기반 방법이 아닌 에지 성분만을 이용하여 후보 영역을 결정하고 검증하기 때문에 다른 검출 기법들에 비해 비교적 검출 시간이 짧고 실시간 차량 검출에 적합하다.

  • The development of Technology study for preventing of accident and reducing the risk through the intelligence of level crossing is provide the detection of stopped car at railway crossing with the most advanced intelligence technology such as sensor, computer, communication and date processing and transmit to the operational staff on broad for reaction or make the train stopped automatically through the connection with train. Also this study include that showing the situation of crossing railway when the train is approached and prevent the accident and reduce the risk through the connection of road transit signal system. On this study is performed the test through the date from spot level crossing and the development of video detection algorism for stopped road transit vehicle at level crossing with intelligent system.

  • The increment of electric power demand causes interest on new higher power system such as 42V Power Net, and furthermore necessity for development of energy storage device is highlighted recently. Owing to high efficiency and easy speed control of brushless DC(BLDC) motor, the demand of BLDC motor that has high power and low noises are increasing. Especially demand of interior permanent magnet(IPM) type BLDC with high efficiency and high power in electric motion vehicle is increasing. This paper presents the design of the BLBC motor for EHPS(Electro-Hydraulic Power Steering) in 42V system and verified the characteristics by simulation and test results.

  • 무선통신을 적용하여 최첨단 무인자동운전을 구현하기 위하여 기존 고정폐색의 신호시스템과 달리 무선에 의한 양방향 통신을 기본으로 하는 이동폐색시스템인 CBTC(Communication Based Train Control) System을 적용하고 있다. 이를 구현하기 위하여 열차의 위치를 검지하는 기법으로 TOA(Time of Arrival)을 적용하였으며 이를 토대로 시험선의 선로변에 설치한 무선기(Wayside Radio Set : WRS)와 차량에 설치된 차상 무선기(Vehicle Radio Set : VRS)가 무선통신을 수행하고 지상에서 측정거리 결과로부터 열차의 위치를 계산되는 것으로 WRS와 VRS간의 거리에 따라 비례하여 증가하는 것을 확인하였고 아울러 측정거리지점에서의 품질이 우수함을 확인하였다.

  • A lot of conventional automotive components driven by mechanical power source are being replaced with electrical ones to comply with the demands of market and customer, therefore the amount of electric energy used in a vehicle will be increased continuously. The increment of electric power demand causes interest on new higher power system such as 42V Power Net, and furthermore necessity for development of energy storage device is highlighted recently. This paper present the design of the BLDC motor for electric air-conditioner in 42V system and compare with the characteristics of several type BLDC motor.

Strength Evaluation of Adhesive Bonded Joint for Car Body (차체접합과 관련한 접합 강도 평가)

  • The evaluation of joint fatigue strength of light weight materials for electrical vehicle body has been performed through single lap joint tests with the design parameters such as joint style, adherend, bonding overlap length and bonding thickness. Fatigue strength was evaluated through 5-Hz, tension-tension, load controlled test with the stress ratio zero value. It is experimentally observed that fatigue strength of joint increases for the increase of overlap length. The combinations of Al-Al and Al-FRP adherends show that fatigue strength of joint is hardly changed for the increase of bonding thickness, but FRP-FRP adherend specimen shows that fatigue strength of joint increases after decreases for the increase of bonding thickness. Al-Al adherend specimen has much higher fatigue length than Al-FRP and FRP-FRP adherend specimens. Riveting at adgesive bonded joint gives little effect on fatigue strength.
