표준화된 알루미늄 전동차의 개발 (Development of the Standardized Aluminum Electric Motor Car)

  • In this paper, design and construction process for the standardized electric motor car according to standard specification is described. Aluminum extrusion profiles and power and control system made domestically are used in the electric motor car. Also, plug-sliding door system for noise reduction and automatic train control system are developed and applied. Through the development of the electric motor car, most electric and control systems can be substituted by domestic standard systems, and safety and reliability of electric motor cars can be secured.

  • This study has been focused on the selection of optimal electric motor load, which takes a lot of portions of motor driving factor in the building. Based on the past design data for existing electric motor load and method of calculation, it is known that in general electric machine load has been estimated excessively. For the accurate calculation, it is important apply to motor driving factor to be actually provided.

  • Recently, the trend of zero emissions has increased in automotive engineering because of environmental problems and regulations. Therefore, the development of battery electric vehicles (EVs), hybrid/plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs/PHEVs), and fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEVs) has been mainstreamed. In particular, for light-duty electric vehicles, improvement in electric motor performance is directly linked to driving range and driving performance. In this paper, using an improved design for the interior permanent magnet synchronous motor (IPMSM), the EV driving range for the light-duty EV was extended. In the electromagnetic design process, a 2D finite element method (FEM) was used. Furthermore, to consider mechanical stress, ANSYS Workbench was adopted. To conduct a vehicle simulation, the vehicle was modeled to include an electric motor model, energy storage model, and regenerative braking. From these results, using the advanced vehicle simulator (ADVISOR) based on MATLAB Simulink, a vehicle simulation was performed, and the effects of the improved design were described.

  • 가전분야에서의 전동기 효율향상을 통한 에너지 소비절감 효과는 상당히 크지만 이를 위한 전동기의 설계/해석 기술 확보가 아직은 미흡한 상태이다. 이에 따라 유도형 동기전동기가 제안되었지만, 유도형 동기 전동기는 유도전동기와 통기전동기의 특성을 동시에 가지고 있어, 해석 및 설계가 쉽지 않다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 기존의 냉장고 압축기용 전동기인 단상유도전동기를 대처할 수 있는 단상 유도형 동기전동기를 이용해 파라미터에 따라 특성이 어떻게 바뀌는가에 대해 서술하였다. 그에 따라 단상유도전동기의 정상상태 특성을 해석하고 제안모델의 성능을 기존모델과 비교하고 실험하여 해석결과의 신뢰성을 검증한다. 또한 본 논문에서는 제안모델의 기존 고정자 형상이나 권선 스팩을 유지하고 회전자의 형상이나 구조만을 변경시켜 성능향상을 도모하였다. 해석방법으로는 전자장 수치 해석적인 방법으로 널리 이용되고 있는 유한요소법(Finite Element Method : FEM)을 이용하였다.

  • This paper presents an advanced AC drive system used in electric vehicles. The system consists of a drive motor, a PWM transistorized inverter, a PCL-812PG data card, and a controller. This paper describes a design method for RSPWMSS and PID controller. This controller system is implemented on computer and applied to drive motor(induction motor), yielding satisfactory result.

  • Designing of the squirrel cage AC Traction Motor has many difficulties which has to be small size in order to be suitable into bogie frame, high efficiency and light weight. It means that induction motor for tractive purpose has to be different magnetic and electric loading ratio from industrial induction motor. This paper is devoted to an examination of how this ratio affects overall design concept and hence the main design points for traction motor. Also studied is tile changed coefficients of the magnetic and electric loading ratio squirrel cage induction motor for the traction purpose which has been already identified from tile reference book for industrial purpose induction motor.

  • As motor performance enhancement by improving electric design has reached its limit and downsizing issue has risen, the importance of thermal design is increasing. In this study, the flow and temperature distribution were reviewed with the help of CFD analysis and this result was compared with the experimental results. Furthermore, parametric analysis with thermal design structure showed that axial duct width but fan capacity is a critical factor to lower the hot spot temperature in electric motor.

HEEDS를 이용한 전기자동차에서의 모터 축 최적설계에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Optimum Design of a Motor Shaft in Electric Vehicle Using HEEDS)

  • A study on the weight reduction of a motor shaft in electric vehicle by using optimum design technique was carried out. The structural analysis of a motor shaft was performed by using ANSYS to investigate the structural safety. We also used HEEDS to find the optimal hollow shaft thickness. When the material of the hollow shaft is changed to SCM822H by using ANSYS 14.5 and HEEDS MDO, the weight could be reduced by about 53 % compared to the conventional solid one. From this study, the optimized dimensions of a hollow shaft were determined for light weight design.

농촌 다목적 모듈형 전기차 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Development of Modular Design for Multi-purpose Electric Motor Vehicles in Rural Areas)

  • 우리나라는 2000년 이후 EU의 지구온난화에 따른 환경 규제 강화, 고유가 추세 그리고 농촌 인구분포의 고령화 등에 따라 친환경에너지를 기반으로 하는 농촌 소상공인을 위한 다목적 전기차에 대한 니즈 강화가 시장의 큰 흐름이 되고 있다. 농촌 소상공인을 위한 다목적 전기차는 적은 비용으로 유지가 가능하고 친환경 에너지의 활성화를 통한 온실 가스를 감축할 뿐 아니라 고령화 되어가고 있는 농업 종사자의 노동 강도를 줄이고 야간작업 및 물류 운반을 위하여 매우 혁신적인 운송수단이 될 것이다. 본 논문에서는 친환경 에너지 정책 시행과 함께 영세 규모의 농촌 소상공인들이 비포장도로와 웅덩이가 많은 농로환경에서 쉽게 운행할 수 있고, 농작물 운반 시 노동 강도를 줄일 수 있으며, 사고 시에도 저렴한 비용으로 간단하게 부품을 교체할 수 있는 농촌 다목적 모듈형 전기차를 제안하기 위하여 기존 문헌들을 고찰하고 국내외 전기차를 벤치마킹하여 12개의 모듈형 부품을 제시한다. 본 논문은 모듈형 전기차의 산업계는 물론 디자인계의 연구에 도움이 될 것으로 사료된다.
