The importance and role of pre-/in-service inspection(PSI/ISI) for nuclear power plant(NPP) components are intimately related to plant design, safety, reliability, operation, etc. In this paper, for an effective and efficient management of large amounts of PSI/ISI data in NPPs, an intelligent database program(WS-IDPIN) for PSI/ISI data management of NPP was developed. WS-IDPIN program enables the prompt extraction of previously conducted PSI/ISI conditions and results so that the time-consuming data management, painstaking data processing and analysis in the past are avoided. Furthermore, development of ISI UT auto flaw evaluation and acceptance module based on ASME Code Sec. XI were presented. This module can be used for any angle beam examination from flat plate to spherical shapes as selected by the proper azimuthal angle. This program can be further developed as a unique PSI/ISI data management expert system.
The purpose of this study is to develop and evaluate the program which aims at providing a better understanding of family role, establishing a desirable value of being good spouse and good parent, and good daughter/mother in-law and determine effects of the program on rural women in Gyeonggi do. Based on the strong & healthy family perspective, personality types theory, coping stress theory, anger control method, communication & conflict solution theory(eg; Minnesota Couple Communication Program), cognitive behavior theory, and relations enrichment theory, 6 session program was developed. The title of 6 sessions were 'Making happy family', 'Family communication', 'Coping parent-child relation stress', 'Coping conjugal personality difference', 'Becoming a good mother/daughter in-law', and 'Dissolving family conflict'. 188 women surveyed were asked to participate in the program held at 5 city located in Gyeonggi do from Jun. 22 to July, 15. 2005, with two days(3 session a day and 120 minutes per session based). The effectiveness of this program was evaluated by pre-test, post test through 188 rural women and it was analyzed by paired t-test and program evaluation questionnaire was also investigated. The major results were as follows: This program was effective in improving spouse relation satisfaction, child relation satisfaction, daughter/mother in-law relation satisfaction, their effort for making happy family, self-esteem, and depression tendency. Future research and practical implications were added.

This study is to analyze the competition structure and the brand image in underwear market, and to examine the relationships between brand preference and evaluation criteria on purchase among the age of 20's females. The samples are composed of 591 females aged 20's in cheong-ju city. For data analysis, MDS, AVOVA, t-test were used. The results of this study are followed as; Brand group I [BYC·Try·Vicman] was positioned on the dimensions of casual/classic image, brand group II [BodyGuard·DonandDons·schaolphio·x-zon] was positioned on the dimension of casual/fashionable image, and brand group III [Wacor·Venus·Ravora] was posiotioned on the dimension of elegant image. Brand preference in group III was the highest, and brand preference had significant difference by age, occupation, and education level. Customers who prefer the group I evaluated useful and management attributes the most and customers who prefer the group II, considered economical and esthetic arributes for purchasing underwaer. Also, customers who prefer the group III, evaluated the esthetic appreciational quality, the functional quality, and the brand-symbolic quality. Also, the influence of advertisement is most effective to purchase underwears. A main source of information is the broadcast medium such as TV or radio. The main store types on purchase were types like a department store and underwear special store.
The changing business environment requires that firms reengineer their fundamental processes in order to retain their competitive advantage. Most Business Proess Reengineering (BPR) projects, however, have failed partly because the essential enabler, ie. information technology, was unable to perpetuate the original vision. The information systems were unable to support the collaboration among the workers participating in the process. Workflow Management Systems (WfMS) have the potential to enhance not only individual performance as did traditional information systems, but also the group performance essential to the success of BPR by providing an effective means of communications through connectivity. It also enhances productivitiy through proceduralization of the fundamental processes, thus making it possible to empower the employee even while it controls the flow, and ultimately the delaly that originally made the BPR effort necessary. Therefore, though it is not a panacea, WfMS's can improve chances for the success of BPR projects. Managers who have realized this are faced with another obstacle - that of selecting the WfMS that best meets the particular organization's needs. This paper provids an evaluation structure of WfMS functions with emphasis on those functions that are essential for BPR, classifying the functions into an attribute hierarchy according to the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) approach. It also suggests specific evaluation criteria for the main workflow functions provided by most vendors today, thus providing managers with a comprehensive guideline to facilitate the decision process.
PURPOSES : This study aimed to analyze the impact the operation of pre-signals at 4-leg signalized intersections and present primary environmental factors of roads that need to be considered in the installation of pre-signals. METHODS : Shift of proportions safety effectiveness evaluation method which assesses shifts in proportions of target collision types to determine safety effectiveness was applied to analyze traffic crash by types. Also, Empirical Bayes before/after safety effectiveness evaluation method was adapted to analyze the impact pre-signal installation. Negative binomial regression was conducted to determine SPF(safety performance function). RESULTS : Pre-signals are effective in reducing the number of head on, right angle and sideswipe collisions and both the total number of personal injury crashes and severe crashes. Also, it is deemed that each factor used as an independent variable for the SPF model has strong correlation with the total number of personal injury crashes and severe crashes, and impacts general traffic crashes as a whole. CONCLUSIONS: This study suggests the following should be considered in pre-signal installation on intersections. 1) U-turns allowed in the front and rear 2) A high number of roads that connect to the intersection 3) Many right-turn traffic flows 4) Crosswalks installed in the front and rear 5) Insufficient left-turn lanes compared to left-turn traffic flows or no left-turn-only lane.

The Advanced spent fuel Conditioning Process(ACP) is under development for the effective management of spent fuel which had been generated in nuclear plants. The ACP needs a hot cell where most operations will be peformed. To give priority to the environment safety, radiation doses evaluation for the radioactive nuclides were preliminarily peformed in both normal operation and accident case. The evaluation result shows a safe margin for regulation limits and SAR limit of IMEF where this facility will be constructed.
Purpose: To find out the early results after surgical treatment of the acute acromioclavicular dislocation with LIGASTIC artificial ligament. Material and Method: 6 patients who were diagnosed as acute acomioclavicular joint dislocation and treated with LIGASTIC artifical ligament through March 2005 to July 2005. The radiologic and clinical results using Imatani evaluation system were analyzed. Results: By clinical evaluation, 4 cases(67%) were excellent and 2 cases(33%) were good. By radiologic evaluation, 3 cases(50%) were excellent and 3 cases(50%) were good. All cases showed satisfactory results. Till the final follow up, there were no complication. Conclusion: Surgical treatment of the acute acromioclavicular dislocation with LIGASTIC articifial ligament is simple, but provides enough stability for early postoperative rehabilitation, decreases arthritis of acomioclavicular joint and there is no burden of removal of the fixture, so it is thought as a very effective surgery.

Extracorporeal shockwave therapy has been widely spread out showing an excellent efficacy compared to traditional medicinal treatments, interventional procedures or surgeries for diseases of tendons and musculoskeletal system. Major performance tests of extracorporeal shockwave therapy consist of pressure, energy flux, concentration, and effective amount of energy on the focus area of shockwave according to IEC 61846. Shockwave should be irradiated accurately to the lesion area to improve the performance of extracorporeal shockwave therapy, which makes it necessary to add the relevant section, IEC 60601-2-36 (12.1.101. Precision of Target Markers and Target Locations). International standards of extracorporeal shockwave therapy have been prepared based on European and western people. Thus, we need to conduct many studies on Korean patients to improve the quality of extracorporeal shockwave therapy and to develop the medical industry. In addition, the performance evaluation of extracorporeal shockwave therapy which has been prepared according to international standards should be additionally modified and supplemented corresponding to the Korean circumstances.
Effects of cultivars, cooking, and processing on hemagglutinin activity were evaluated by observing macroscopic hemagglutination using serial twofold dilution of trypsinized human blood type-O or rabbit blood. Hemagglutinin activity was expressed as maximal geometric dilution fold. Agglutination of rabbit blood was more sensitive compared to human blood. Hemagglutinin activities of glyphosate-tolerant soybean, HS2906, and imported conventional soybeans were not statistically different, although significant differences were observed among conventional soybean cultivars cultivated in Korea (286 to 1535 HU/mg protein). Time required to reach fifty percent inhibition of hemagglutinin activity ($IT_{50}$) value decreased with increasing cooking temperature and pressure. Most effective conventional cooking method to inhibit hemagglutinin activity was pressure-cooking ($IT_{50}$: 1.36 min). Calculated activation energy based on reaction rate constant was 4.88 kcal. No hemagglutinin activities were detected in processed soybean products such as tofu, soybean paste, and soysauce.
