This study was a cross-sectional study done to determine the relevance and impact factors of critical thinking and nursing practice environment on clinical decision making among nurses. A survey was conducted for April 2017 with self-report questionnaire. Participants were 261 registered nurses working in one tertiary hospital. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficients, and hierarchical regression analysis with SPSS/WIN(21.0). Factors affecting clinical decision making included age, educational background, position, work shift, clinical career. Clinical decision making had a positive correlation with critical thinking and nursing practice environment. And position, critical thinking and nursing practice environment accounted for 35.8% of the variance in clinical decision making. Therefore, quality management for developing nursing professionalism and administrative support for effective staffing and resource adequacy in addition improving critical thinking increase nurses'clinical decision making.

Modern society has entered the era of the fourth industrial revolution beyond the information age. In other words, technology innovations such as life science, unmanned automobiles, drone, artificial intelligence, big data, robot technology, Internet of things, and nano-technology are leading the change of the world. In these technologies use and delivery of information is playing a key role, and the field of information security for the safe use of information has become an indispensable discipline. In this sense, it is necessary to standardize the curriculum of universities to foster security manpower to meet the needs of the era. In this paper, we develop and present a model to standardize the curriculum in the field of information security. Using this model, each educational institution will be able to select the necessary track or field to guide the students and cultivate information security manpower effectively.

This study aims to identify the structural relationship between mastery-approach goal orientation, instructor support, problem solving, collaborative skills, and course satisfaction among students who participated in project-based learning. To achieve the purpose of this research, researchers have conducted surveys between June and December in 2019. A total of 283 cases were selected for analysis. According to the study, mastery-approach goal orientation and instructor support have positive effects on problem solving and course satisfaction. Instructor support has positive effects on collaboration skills, and problem solving has positive effects on collaboration skills and course satisfaction. Also, the mediating effect of problem solving in the relationship among mastery-approach goal orientation, instructor support, collaboration skills, and course satisfaction was found to be statistically significant. However, the path between mastery-approach goal orientation and collaboration skills was not statistically significant. Based on these findings, academic and practical implications were suggested.

This study analyzed the relationship between supervision and job commitment of the elderly leisure welfare center employees and the mediating effect of professionalism perception. The survey was conducted of 267 employees in 15 facilities located in Daejeon and Chungnam. The main methods were confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation modeling analysis using SPSS and AMOS. The analysis results showed that the relationship between supervision and job commitment and the mediating effect of professionalism perception were verified. For activating the supervision, it is necessary to strengthen the educational supervision, systematize the supervision, and strengthen the supervisor education. To raise the professionalism perception, programs such as awards for outstanding manpower, social support, and employee education considering clients are needed. It is expected that studies on various variables for human resource management including job commitment for elderly leisure facility employees will be continued.

Immersive contents is content that provides a realistic experience by maximizing the user's five senses, and includes virtual reality, augmented reality, and mixed reality. In order to provide a sense of reality to users in immersive content, it is necessary to provide realistic visual images, hearing, and touch. However, due to the rapid change in the environment for developing immersive content, experts in training human resources are having difficulties in designing the curriculum. In this study, we propose a series of educational courses that use drones to acquire and process real-world measurement data and apply the derived data to VR, AR, and MR to help experts in training immersive content develop talent. The design of training process composes through demand survey and analysis of companies, students, and local communities. This study can be a useful resource for education experts who want to train immersive contents manpower.

This article identifies the nature of international relations and education and examines their potential. To achieve this goal, international relations and education can be found in supporting economically deprived regions and contributing to the development of the world based on mutual understanding. Next, the current status of international education exchanges was examined by the Ministry of Education, the National Institute for International Education, and the Gyeongnam Office of Education's International relations and Education Center. The status of international relations and education shown in these three subjects is active in practice, but there was also a limit to theorizing about them and making explanations or predictions. Based on this, the possibility of international education exchanges was discussed by the government or education office, which can bring about educational autonomy, contribute to the growth of the country through support for resource-poor countries, limited development assistance, poor academic development.

Purpose - This study examines how employees' perception of HR department expertise affect their satisfaction of education and training. Moreover, this study explores that the HR department's communication activities moderate the main effects between satisfaction of education and training opportunities. Design/methodology/approach - This study predicts the positive relationship between employees' perceptions of HR department expertise and their satisfaction of education and training. Furthermore, the HR department's communication activities will strengthen this positive relationship. To test these hypotheses, this study used the Human Capital Corporate Panel (HCCP) datasets, especially individual-level 2017 data. The final number of samples is 1,947 for the analyses. In addition, this study utilized a hierarchical regression model with SPSS program. Finding - The results analyzed with the hierarchical regression model showed that the perceptions of HR department expertise had a positive relationship with satisfaction of provided educational and training. In addition, the HR department's communication activities moderated the relationship between perception of HR department expertise and satisfaction of education and training opportunities. Research implications or Originality - This study suggests academic and practical implications for future research in the human resource development filed by clarifying the critical factors to increase employees' satisfaction and transferability of education and training.

This study analyzes the "JunghagGanguilog (中學講義錄)" published by the JoseonTongsinJunghaggwan(朝鮮通信中學館), a correspondence school in the 1920s, as well as "Mungyoui Joseon (文敎の朝鮮)," "Sinjisig (新知識)," and newspaper articles to examine the situation of science education in correspondence education at that time. The study investigated the effectiveness of science education outside of schools by analyzing the content of chemistry lectures in correspondence education materials and comparing them with Qualification Exam questions. Correspondence education served as a communication channel for individuals in the 1920s who were unable to receive formal schooling and was a valuable educational method for those aiming to pass Qualification Exam for admission to higher-level schools. Due to the similarity between the chemistry lecture content and Qualification Exam questions, learners likely favored correspondence education, leading to higher learning abilities. Therefore, it can be seen that the Korean publication of "JunghagGanguilog" was a significant resource in the science education landscape at that time.

Blood products (BPs) can only be obtained through blood donation and hence represent a finite resource. BPs should therefore be used conservatively. However, BPs are being used indiscriminately without evidence. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the reasons for the use of BPs and their appropriateness. The investigation was carried out based on hemoglobin levels. Data were obtained from Nov 1, 2020, to Oct 31, 2021, from a hospital's OCS/EMR systems. The BPs were dispensed in 21,303 cases, and the number of hemoglobin levels >7.0 g/dL or higher among red blood cell drugs used by each treatment department was 1,173 (>7.0 g/dL). The misuse of blood transfusions is increasing social costs, with the adequacy of transfusion becoming increasingly important. Hence, each medical institution should review the transfusion guideline evaluation index, check the status of the release of BPs, and institute educational programs covering transfusion guidelines and continually evaluate their adequacy.

Academic library 2.0 which is adapted from Web 2.0 is expected to reform library services. This study analysed the librarian's tasks in the new environment of academic library 2.0 to provide a base of new task development that combined traditional and new works. The analysing of a librarian's tasks resulted in some changes to the concept of traditional tasks like that of : 'Collection Development and Acquisitions' changed to 'Resource Development', 'Cataloging and Classification' changed to 'Technical Development', 'Circulation' changed to 'Information Literacy'. 'Reference Work' changed to 'Service Development', 'Preservation' changed to 'Archiving'. The Tasks of a Librarian is expanding and the important issues for 'Expanding the Professional Role of the Librarian' are cooperation, educational culture and technological ability.
