통합 과학 과정의 접근 방법에 관한 비교 연구 - 개념 중심 방법과 과정 중심 접근 방법을 중심으로 - (On Approaches to Integrated Science Curriculum - About the concept centered approach and the process centered approach -)

  • In this study, concept centered approach and process centered approach in developing integrated science curriculum were compared and compromised between two approaches. It seems that two approaches are in antagonistic relations. The superficial conflictions getween two approaches are not because they are antagonistic in their nature, but because their interesting points are different. The concept centered approahc is interest in fundamental scientific concepts and the process centered approach is interested in scientific enquiry. If science is the composition of enquiry processes and concepts produced by enquiry processes, scientific enquiry process and scientific concept must not be inconsistant. Although concepts are not unchangeable, new concepts and advanced concepts are based on the old concepts. Enquiry activity which is not based on concepts also cannot be significant enquiry. Although fundamental concepts in science is very important, in order to apply concepts to varios phenomena, and to understand concepts more deeply the student should understand concept through the process by which the concepts are derived. As we have discussed above, only the concept centered approach or the process centered approach itself is not complete. Comparing these two uncomplete approaches to integrated science curriculum, we can find out that two approaches are in complementary relations. Because integrated science is based on the idea that natural phenomena should not be understood in fragments, but should be understood as mutually related system' the integrated science curriculum includes both the fundamental scientific concepts and scientific enquiry processes.

비유 실험을 활용한 탐구학습이 과학영재의 실험설계 과정에 미치는 영향 (The Influences of Inquiry Learning-Based Analogical Experiments on Experimental Design Processes of Science-Gifted Students)

  • 이 연구에서는 탐구학습에서 과학적 창의성을 계발하기 위해 활용할 수 있는 비유 실험 활동을 개발, 적용하여 비유 실험을 활용한 탐구학습이 중학교 1학년 과학영재 학생들의 실험설계 과정에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. 과학영재 학생들의 실험설계 과정을 창의적 사고과정의 유형에 따라 분류하고 각 유형에 따른 특징 및 실험설계 과정요소별 수행수준을 분석하였다. 비유 실험을 활용한 실험설계 과정의 유형은 확장이동형, 후진-확산이동형, 제자리이동형의 세 가지 유형이 나타났다. 확장이동형은 대응 관계를 심층적으로 파악함으로써 새로운 관점에서 전반적으로 모든 과정요소를 고려하며 정교한 실험설계를 수행하였다. 후진-확산이동형은 비유 실험을 활용해 새로운 방향으로 관점을 전환하지만 대응의 수준이나 과정요소에 대한 고려에 미흡한 부분이 있어 실험설계의 구체성이 다소 부족한 것으로 나타났다. 제자리이동형은 기존의 관점을 새로운 문제 상황에 그대로 적용하고 필요한 과정요소를 고르게 고려하지 못하며 적절한 실험설계를 수행하지 못하는 것으로 나타났다. 이에 대한 교육적 함의를 논의하였다.

특수교육기관 선택 요인 분석을 통한 특수교육대상자 배치계획 (Planning Plan for Special Education Subjects by Analyzing the Factor of Selecting Special Education Institutions)

  • 본 연구는 특수교육대상자 학부모가 자녀의 특수교육기관 선택 시 고려하고 있는 요인 등을 분석하여 특수교육대상자 배치계획에 대한 개선방안을 제시하는 것이며 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 특수교육대상자는 유치원 과정이 의무교육임에도 상당수가 초등학교 입학 시 특수교육대상자로 선정되고 있다. 둘째, 특수교육대상자 학부모의 특수교육기관 선택 요인은 교사의 전문성과 교육과정 운영, 자녀의 장애 유형 및 정도, 통학거리 및 통학방법, 교육시설(특별활동실, 치료실 등)로 나타났다. 셋째, 특수교육대상자의 특수교육기관 배치 방식은 통학권내 학교 중 학부모 선택이 가장 많은 것으로 나타났다. 적정한 배치계획 수립을 위해서는 특수교육대상자 수가 정확히 파악되어야 하므로 특수교육대상자 선정 시기는 늦어도 유치원 과정으로 하고, 특수교육기관의 불균형 및 교육시설의 격차를 해소하기 위하여 통학권도 설정해야 할 것이다.

Multimedia Technologies for Teaching Musical Art under Present-day Conditions

  • The processes of society's informatization and digitalization necessitate the widespread use of new pedagogical technologies. Through these technologies, comprehensive disclosure of didactic functions of new methods of educational activity and the realization of the potential and creative potential. The use of information and computer multimedia technologies in teaching music art is especially relevant in the intensification of the development of interactive technologies, the transition to mixed forms of learning, and a period of socio-economic and sociopolitical upheavals. The study aims to substantiate the theoretical and applied principles of the analysis of multimedia technology learning musical art in modern conditions and assess the status and trends in their use in conducting educational activities. The study uses general scientific and unique methods of economic analysis, in particular, analysis and synthesis, analogy and comparison, generalization and systematization, and graphic ways. Regarding the results of the study of multimedia technologies for teaching musical art in current conditions, it was found that they contribute to the development of the seeker's creative, creative, and cognitive activity, have a positive impact on learning material, and diversify the educational process. Multimedia technologies such as presentations, programs for watching a video, listening to audio, music and singing karaoke, electronic encyclopedias, and Internet resources are proven to be the most used in music education. They have several qualitative and quantitative advantages, manifested in the possibilities of audio-visual presentation of educational material and significantly higher information density. It is suggested to strengthen the use of such computer programs as Microsoft Word, Ahead Nero, Finale, Adobe Audition, Sound Forge, and Microsoft PowerPoint for musical art classes.

학교교육공간 혁신을 위한 교육기획 절차 모형 탐색 - 교육분야 사용자 참여 설계 사례를 중심으로 - (Exploratory Study on the Educational Planning Process Model for School Space Innovation - Focusing on User Participatory Design Practices -)

  • 본 연구는 미래형 교육과정을 수립하고, 미래형 교육과정과 연계하여 교육공간 혁신을 이루기 위한 방법으로 사용자 참여 설계 방법에 기반한 교육기획 절차 모형을 제시하는 데 목적이 있다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위하여 교육공간 혁신, 교육기획 절차, 사용자 참여 설계와 관련된 선행연구 및 실천사례를 검토하고, 그 결과를 토대로 교육기획 절차 모형의 초안을 마련하였다. 이를 초등학교 1개교의 개축 프로젝트의 교육기획 과정에 적용하고, 그 과정에서 발생하는 문제점에 대해 비판적으로 성찰하여 그 결과를 모형의 개선에 반영하였다. 이러한 과정을 통해 최종적으로 도출된 '사용자 참여 설계에 기반한 교육기획 절차 모형'은 총 4단계로 구성된다. 1단계는 사용자 참여를 위한 초기 탐색 단계로, 교육기획가와 사용자가 미래교육을 위한 공유된 관점을 형성하고, 교육기획가는 학교에 대한 충분한 정보를 수집하는데 초점을 둔다. 2단계는 미래교육으로 전환을 위한 구성원간 합의를 도출하는 단계로, 학교수준 교육과정에 대한 전반적인 방향성을 큰 틀에서 설정하고 중점 교육프로그램에 대한 아이디어 발산을 시작하는 데 초점을 둔다. 3단계는 미래학교 운영방향을 결정하는 단계로, 학교의 교육 비전 및 목표를 설정하고, 교수학습의 방향을 결정하며, 특색 교육공간에 대한 요구를 도출한다. 4단계는 교육기획을 마무리하는 단계이자 공간기획을 시작하는 단계로 기능할 수 있도록, 교육기획가와 공간기획가 간의 긴밀한 상호작용에 초점을 둔다. 마지막으로, 이러한 교육기획 절차의 이점과 제한점에 관해 논의하였다.

조작적 구성주의와 사회적 구성주의에서 구성의 의미와 과정 (The Meaning and Mechanism of the 'Construction' in the Operational Constructivism and the Social Constructivism)

  • In this study, we have investigated the meaning and mechanism of the 'construction' in the operational constructivism and the social constructivism. According to Piaget, a mathematical concept is the operational sch me, which is constructed through the reflective abstraction from a general coordination of activities and operations. The process of the reflective abstraction consists of 'reflechissement'and 'reflexion'. The reflechissement starting from 'intriorisation' concludes with 'thematisation', and the reflexion consists in the 'equilibration' of the result of reflechissement. The 'construction' in the social constructivism includes two process. One is the process from the individual, subjective knowledge of mathematics to the social, objective knowledge of mathematics, and the other is vice versa. The emphases is placed on the 'social interaction' and the 'representation' in this two processes. In this context, if we want to apply the social constructivism, we should clarify the meaning of 'society', and consider the difference between the society of mathematicians and the society of students.

과학영재교육센터 교육체제의 효율적인 운영방안에 관한 연구 (A Study for Advancing the Educational System of the Science Education Center for Gifted Youth)

  • The purpose of this study was to suggest an advanced system for educating scientifically gifted children in the Center for Science Talented Education at Kyungpook National University. Several suggestions based on analysis of current identifying-process and instructional materials for scientifically gifted children were provided for advancing the educational system of the center. First, this study suggested a three-step procedure to identify procedure emphasized students reasoning skills as one of important characteristics of the gifted child. Second, this study provided an instructional model for developing hypothesis testing skills in scientifically gifted children. The model was originally based on Lawson's scientific reasoning processes and learning cycle mode. Third, this study also suggested an effective administration system of the Center for Science Talented Education. Further, this study suggested effective ways on research works for advancing the center, educating instructors, the cyber center for remote education, and international co-works for developing the gifted children's potential abilities.

농촌지역과 소도시간 학교 생태연못 특성 비교분석에 관한 연구 (A Comparative Study on the Ecological Pond in School between rural area and small town)

  • This study aims to investigate and analyze the actual conditions of the ecological ponds built in the campus sites of the elementary, middle and high schools which currently manage ecological ponds in order to find problems and directions for improvement concerning the management of the ponds as a way to build nature-friendly ecological ponds which can be used as an ecological work-study site on school campus: this study also intends to provide systematic and technological directions for the management and operation of the ecological pond. This study has selected 10 schools in North Chungcheong Province, where ponds are constructed, and investigated actual conditions of the ponds based on the survey, analysis, and evaluation standards compatible with the school environments, and finally judged the general relevancy of the ponds. The results of this study make us conclude that the most important issue to be considered in the processes of selection and investigation for school ecological pond is the location of the pond.

신규 간호사의 실무 적응 경험 (The Clinical Experiences of Adaptation as a New Nursing Staff)

  • This study aimed at uncovering the experience of adaptation of the new nursing staff in hospital setting. Methods: For this study, 15 new graduate nurses participated. The data was collected through the in-dept interviews and analysed in terms of Strauss and Corbin′s grounded theory methodology. Results: The core category was identified with "entering orbit". The new graduate nurses, who experienced the taeoom because of their unskilled professions, tried to enter orbit by overcoming difficult situations through reducing stress, maintaining good interpersonal relationship, grasping, compensating, persisting, and introspecting. Noticeably, in the process of adaptation, negative image of nursing, conflict of interpersonal relationship and the educational program for the new nursing staff had effect on the intervening factors. Finally, this study confirmed that the processes of new nurses′ adaptation are confusing, confrontating, becoming a member and settling in hospital setting. Conclusion: Therefore, the educational programs reflecting new nursing staffs′ experiences should be developed.

중등학교 가정과 교사들의 교수매체 활용 및 관련 변인 (A Study on the Use and Related Variables of Instructional Media by Middle and High School Home Economics Teachers)

  • The purpose of this study were to identify the use and related variables of instructional media by middle and high school Home Economics teachers, and to provide the foundations for the use and developments of instructional media by some teachers in Home Economics educational fields. Self administered questionnaires were distributed to middle and high school Home Economics teachers and collected by stamps from Sep. 10 to Sep. 30, 1999, and 138 questionnaires were analysed frequencies, percentages, means, and $\chi$(sup)2-test. The results were as follows:1. Schools in city areas, public schools, and boy’s schools allocated more budget to instructional media for creative Home Economics education. Teachers got instructional media information from colleagues, catalogues from media company, and advertisement or columns of journals or newspapers. 2. More younger teachers with shorter educational experiences and active members in related academic associations owned more instructional media and had the ability to develop various instructional media. 3. Most teachers showed dissatisfaction to the prices, purchasing processes, information, quality, and assortments of instructional media.
