농업인 교육만족과 교육성과 간의 영향관계 분석 (Farmers' Educational Performance Influencing Educational Satisfaction)

  • This study aims to investigate the farmer's educational performances Influencing educational satisfaction. In general, the goal of agricultural education is to increase farm performance such as income, sales and perceptions. A survey was used to collect data from 588 farmers to the country extension office. The results of the analysis are as follows. The variables that have a significant effect on satisfaction in this study are as follows. interaction between instructors and farmers, passion of instructors, effectiveness of lectures, educational support, and educational facilities. However, the adequacy of the lecture and the diversity of the contents of education did not explain the satisfaction variable. Discussions on the improvement of farmers' education were made by considering the rejected variables. In conclusion, farmers' education in the field should secure educational diversity. And farmer's education in RDA should develop a new curriculum. Farmer's education in RDA should further strengthen the informal learning.

목표내용이 공학도의 실패내성에 미치는 영향: 대학생, 대학원생, 전문가를 중심으로 (Effects of Goal Contents on Failure Tolerance: In Focus of Engineering Undergraduates, Graduates, and Experts)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of goal contents on failure tolerance in engineers (i.e., students and experts in engineering). Based on the goal contents theory, which is a sub-theory of self-determination theory, three intrinsic goals (i.e., self-growth, help, social concern) and two extrinsic goals (i.e., money, fame) were under investigation. A total of 398 participants (118 undergraduate students, 181 graduate students, 99 experts) answered survey questions. In the hierarchical multiple regressions, self-growth goal was entered as the first model, then, to the second model, the other four goals were added. The results showed that social concern goal significantly predicted failure tolerance among all engineer groups. Self-growth goal was closely associated with failure tolerance in undergraduate students and graduate students. Help goal was significant only among graduate students. These results suggest that pursuing intrinsic goals, especially, social concern goal is important to increase failure tolerance. Establishing infrastructure and educational climate for pursuing social concern goal can facilitate the development of personal expertise in engineers as well as the improvement of society.

어린이용 가상세계의 교육적 특성 (Educational Characteristics of Children's Virtual Worlds)

  • 가상세계란 컴퓨터를 매개로 하여 2D 혹은 3D로 구현된 가상 환경 속에서 실시간으로 상호작용할 수 있는 영속적 공간으로 이 중 15세 이하의 사용자를 대상으로 하는 가상세계를 어린이용 가상세계라 한다. 가상세계의 교육적 장점으로는 구체적 경험, 현존감, 경험의 공유, 협동 가능성, 유연한 환경을 꼽을 수 있으며 여기에 게임이 가지고 있는 흥미 요소인 명확한 목표, 도전, 협동, 경쟁, 환상을 보탬으로써 교육효과를 높일 수 있다. 한편 가상세계에서의 교육이 효과적으로 이루어지기 위해서는 목표, 동기, 관계, 도움의 네 영역에 속하는 요소들을 두루 고려해야 한다. 이를 기준으로 하여 국내 어린이용 가상세계인 <노리스쿨>, <미스터 텅두>, <아즈로크>를 분석해 본 결과 명확한 목표 제시, 과제의 맥락화, 적절한 강화 제공은 잘 이루어지고 있었으나 준비성, 사회적 설득, 비계 설정 부분의 보완이 필요했다.

A Case Study of Problem-Based Learning and Action Learning at a University

  • Many universities are searching for educational methods to cultivate problem-solving ability and cooperative learning ability or already trying to implement them. Problem Based Learning(PBL) and Action Learning(AL) are effective teaching and learning methods to cultivate men of talent qualified for problem-solving and cooperative learning abilities that universities are seeking after. PBL and AL have something in common in that learning is accomplished while learners are solving the authentic problem. But, in spite of this similarity, PBL and AL have differences. However, most literatures and cases on these two models introduce only the outline of commons and differences and do not provide teachers with actual helping aids to select a model appropriate for the actual design or operation of classes. Accordingly, many teachers usually select and utilize a familiar model rather than select a proper model to the nature of a subject and the educational goal. Teaching and learning methods or learning environment should be selected appropriately to the educational goal. This study indicates the characteristics of PBL and AL that are being introduced and utilized as a principal teaching and learning method of college education and then shows how this method can be realized in the university by comparing the cases of classes applied in two methods.

비형식교육기관의 환경교육 프로그램의 개발 및 적용 (무인도를 이용한 체험활동 프로그램 사례) (The Development and Application of Environmental Education Program at Informal Educational Institutes (The Case of Experiential Activity-Centered Program at Uninhabited Island))

  • The ultimate goal of environment education plays an important role in forming knowledge, skill, attitude and a point of value along with sustainable development in the regions. Recently, however, environment education is comparatively despised due to college-entrance-exam-focused education policy. Ironically, environment education is more actively implemented at informal institutes rather than formal ones. Environment education at schools is based on the school curriculum, but at informal educational institutes enjoy much more freedom in choosing learners, places and programs. Among them, the place is one of the most important factors of environment education. Therefore, in order to maximize the goal of environment education in this study, a specified program was developed and applied to a certain place to investigate its features and effects. Also the program was checked if it reflexes the environment education goal by using environment education program analysis frame. The results are as follows; according to the analysis of the program, the program was most effective for the two goals of offering hands-on experience and presenting motivations. The second most effective result of the program lied in the goal of knowledge, functions, value and attitude. And the teachers who used this program concluded that, when the program was applied to unmanned islands, offered stronger motivation due to their natural surroundings. Furthermore, direct experience is recommended because it can give us better conditions to collect data and to enhance interpretation ability.

  • The society seeks creative talents. Expressive activities are educational activities that stimulate imagination, realize such through body, and enable communication with the society. In such perspective, it is quite meaningful to investigate educational objective that expressive activity shall possess as class to cultivate creativity. Therefore, this study aims to investigate creativity theory, analyze expressive activities as national curriculum at elementary schools, understand the position of expressive activities in Korea, and understand creative educational objective and value of expressive activities, in order to suggest idea for practical goal of expressive activities.

재직자를 대상으로 한 패션교육훈련 프로그램 성과에 관한 연구: 자기효능감과 직무열의의 조절효과 (A Study on the Performance of Educational Fashion Training Program for Employed Learners: Moderating Effects of Self-efficacy and Job Engagement)

  • This study examines whether any correlation exists amongst participative motivation in an educational fashion training program, participants' program satisfaction and performance. In addition, this study investigates the moderating effect of participants' self-efficacy and job engagement in the influence of participative motivation on program satisfaction. Questionnaire data from 212 employed learners who participated in one or more educational fashion training programs were analyzed. For the data analysis, SPSS 24.0 statistical package was used. The study results were as follows. First, the participative motives of the educational fashion training program were grouped into the following three factors: goal-oriented, learning-oriented, and organizational support. Second, learning-oriented participative motivation positively affected their program satisfaction. Third, higher program satisfaction led better program performance. Fourth, there was a significant difference in the magnitude of the effect of learning-oriented participative motivation on satisfaction according to self-efficacy. Fifth, there was a significant difference in the magnitude of the effect of goal-oriented participative motivation on satisfaction according to vigor. Even if the participative motivation in an educational fashion training program predicts the program satisfaction, the strength is changed by interacting with the self-efficacy and vigor. The results of the study provide various implications for educators or policy makers who are interested in educational fashion training program development.

교육용 게임의 효과적인 학습을 위한 미니게임 활용 모델에 대한 제안 (A Proposal of Mini-Game Application Model for Achieving an Effective Learning in Educational Game)

  • 오늘날 대부분의 게임들이 사용자의 상호작용을 자유롭게 허용하므로 초기 기획되었던 대로 스토리라인을 따라 진행되기가 어려운 경우가 많다. 이런 게임 환경에서 특별히 교육용 게임은 초기에 의도하였던 학습 효과를 달성하는데 어려움이 있다. 본 논문은 사용자와 게임 사이의 상호작용을 조절하는 도구로 본 게임 속에 미니게임을 구현하는 미니게임의 활용모델을 제안하였다. 이 모델을 근거로 교육용 게임콘텐츠를 개발하여 미니게임의 구현 유형에 따른 평가요소를 도출하였다. 또한 개발된 게임이 초기 기획된 대로 학습효과 증진에 영향을 주는지의 여부를 공적인 기관에서 선정한 우수 교육용 게임들과 비교 평가하였다. 그 결과 미니게임의 활용은 학습목표 달성과 균형 있는 학습, 학습 동기 유발 등의 영역에서 높은 효과가 있음을 알 수 있었다. 또한 전반적인 영역에 걸쳐 처음 기획한대로 미니게임의 활용 목적에 긍정적인 효과가 있음을 알 수 있었다.

초등학교 고학년이 지각한 교사행동, 학급풍토, 학생의 성취목표지향과 도움찾기 행동 간의 구조적 관계 (Structural Relations of Teacher Behavior, Classroom Climate, and Student Achievement Goal Orientation to Help-Seeking for Upper Elementary Students)

  • 본 연구는 초등학교 고학년 학생을 대상으로 효과적인 자기조절 학습전략의 하나인 도움찾기 행동에 영향을 주는 것으로 알려진 개인적 요인(성취목표지향)과 맥락적 요인(교사행동, 학급풍토) 간의 구조적 관계 분석을 통해 학습관련 도움찾기를 증진할 수 있는 방법에 대한 이해를 얻고자 이루어졌다. 특히, 학생에게 지지적이며 자율성을 부여하고 높은 기대를 하는 교사행동과 학생의 학습관련 도움찾기 행동 간의 관계에서 학급의 전반적인 풍토와 학생 개인의 성취목표지향이 어떤 매개역할을 하는지 파악하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 3개 초등학교 5, 6학년 315명의 학생을 대상으로 설문을 실시하여 자료를 분석하였다. 주요 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 학생들에게 지지적 도움을 제공하고 높은 기대를 하며 학업지향적인 교사행동은 응집력 있고 긍정적인 학급풍토를 만들뿐만 아니라 학생으로 하여금 숙달목표와 같은 접근적인 성취목표를 갖게 하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 긍정적인 학급풍토가 학생들에게 숙달목표를 갖게 하는 데 중요한 역할을 하며, 여러 성취목표지향 중에서 숙달목표만이 학생들의 도움찾기 행동을 유의하게 예측하였다. 둘째, 교사행동은 학급풍토와 학생의 숙달목표를 거치는 이중매개를 통해 학생의 도움찾기 행동을 유의하게 예측하는 것으로 나타나, 도움찾기 행동에 대해 교실 맥락변인과 학생 개인변인이 상호작용 하고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 이러한 연구 결과는 적응적 학습전략인 도움찾기 행동을 학생들에게 증진시키는데 있어 교사의 역할과 숙달목표의 중요성을 시사해 주었다.

학교시설에서의 건축용 유리의 안전사고 실태와 개선방안에 관한 연구 (A study on the risk of injury of architectural glass in educational facilities and the improvement of safety standards)

  • The main goal of this study is to examine the current status of architectural glass in terms of its risk for inflicting injury in elementary schools, middle schools, and high schools. Through objective analysis of data contributed by the investigation of the cause, degree of seriousness, and bodily location of injury, the hazardousness of architectural glass in educational facilities will be evaluated. Most importantly, this study is an attempt to increase awareness of the need for establishing a safety standard in the installation of safety glass in order to prevent injuries inflicted by architectural glass in educational facilities.
