응급실 간호사의 법의간호 교육에 대한 인식과 요구도 (Emergency Department Nurses' Recognition of and Educational Needs for Forensics Nursing Education)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this survey was to investigate emergency department nurses' recognition of forensics nursing and their educational needs for forensics nursing education. Methods: Data were collected via questionnaires from 167 emergency department nurses who were working in 7 university hospitals. Nurses' experiences of trauma or accidents and their recognition of and educational needs for forensic nursing education were assessed. Results: All subjects reported having suffered bodily injury due to falling or serious traffic accidents; 92.2% reported having suffered bodily injury caused by suicide attempts; 91.6% reported having experienced physical violence or abuse; 76.0% reported having experienced sexual assault or abuse; 68.9% reported having experienced some difficulties during their nursing care due to lack of forensics knowledge; and 88.6% reported never having been trained in forensics nursing. The educational needs score for "forensics nursing" was 3.61; the needs score for "abuse- and violence-related education" was 3.65; the needs score for "incident data collection related education" was 3.47; and the needs score for "forensics theory related education" was 3.34. Conclusion: The findings of the study underscore a strong need to develop an educational program on forensics nursing for emergency department nurses.

초등 방과 후 스포츠여가활동의 교육적 의미 탐구 (Exploring on the Educational Aalues in After School Sports-leisure Activity)

  • 본 연구는 방과 후 스포츠여가활동의 수혜자인 학생과 학부모 그리고 현장의 교사가 방과 후 스포츠여가활동에 대하여 어떻게 생각하는지를 토대로 방과 후 스포츠여가활동의 교육적 의미를 탐구하는데 그 목적을 두었다. 이를 위해 2011년 수도권 소재의 Y초등학교에서 방과 후 스포츠여가활동 프로그램에 참여한 5학년 학생 3명과 방과 후 스포츠여가활동에 관심을 갖고 있는 학부모 3명 그리고 방과 후 스포츠여가활동을 지도한 경험이 있는 3명의 교사를 연구 참여자로 선정하였다. 본 연구에서 자료는 심층면담을 통해 수집하였고, 수집된 자료는 Spradley(1979)가 제안한 영역 분석과 분류 분석을 토대로 분석하였고 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 방과 후 스포츠여가활동의 교육적 의미는 신체활동의 다양한 가치 체험 [학생들의 건강 및 체력의 향상, 학교생활의 적극성 강화, 신체적 자기개념 및 효능감 증진], 학교체육과 생활체육과의 만남, 교육복지 실현: 교육격차의 해소, 체육문화에의 입문 등이 도출되었다.

"병태생리학" 교과목에 대한 전문간호사의 교육 요구도 조사 (Educational Need Assessment of Advanced Practice Nurses on the Pathophysiology)

  • Purpose: Knowledge on pathophysiology is important to understand diseases and patient conditions and also in providing advanced nursing care. This study was performed to investigate the present situation, knowledge, and educational need on pathophyiology of advanced practice nurses(APN). Method: Eighty-four APN, who is practicing in hospitals nationwide, were surveyed with structured questionnaires developed by researchers. The questionnaire were composed of 109 items with 4 point scales with the contents of general characteristics, educational experience on pathophyisology, educational need, and knowledge on major and subcategories of pathophysiology. Result: The 77.1% of APN had experience of taking pathophysiology lecture and the lecturer were mainly medical doctors(39.8%) and APN(32.4%). The 61.5% of APN answered that the knowledge on pathophysiology was helpful and 97.6% of APN thought pathphysiologic education is needed in clinical practice. Seven major categories of pathophysiology showed higher scores were water imbalance, heart diseases, hemodynamic disorders, arterial vessel disorders, electrolyte imbalance, diseases of the digestive system, and diseases of the respiratory systems. Educational needs on the major and subcategories of pathphysiology were different by the field of APN and also by the clinical experiences as APN. APN also responded that there is a necessity to change the present curricular more specific to each practice field and more focus on the clinical practice. Conclusion: It was confirmed that educational and clinical need on the pathophysiology is very high and there is urgent need to change current curricular more specific to the field of APN and also clinical practice. This survey will help to identify and clarify the areas of change and to improve the education for the APN.

시뮬레이션 융합 프로그램 개발을 위한 정신건강간호 교육요구도 조사 (Assessing educational needs in the development of a simulation-based convergence training program on mental health nursing)

  • 본 연구는 간호대학생들의 정신건강간호에 대한 교육요구도를 알아보고, 특별히 시뮬레이션으로 융합 교육이 필요한 영역에 대한 우선순위를 확인하고자 진행되었다. 140명의 간호대학생들에게 설문을 통한 조사가 2020년 3월~5월 사이에 이루어 졌다. 정신건강간호학에 대한 교육요구도와 조현병 환자간호에 대한 교육요구도는 각각 19문항과 15문항의 자가응답설문을 통해 이루어졌다. 추가적으로 3개의 서술형 질문을 통해 이전 시뮬레이션 경험에 대한 조사가 이루어 졌다. 조현병환자 간호에 대해 높은 교육요구도가 확인되었으며, 의사소통능력에 대한 교육요구도가 정신건강간호학과 조현병 환자간호 모두에서 가장 높게 나타났다. 표준화환자, 팀워크, 교수자로부터 피드백이 정신건강 간호학 시뮬레이션 교육의 긍정적 경험을 이끌어낸 것으로 확인되었다. 본 연구결과, 의사소통기술 향상을 위한 간호교육이 가장 우선시 할 필요가 있다. 잘 설계되고 실제와 같은 임상경험을 제공할 수 있는 시뮬레이션을 통한 융합교육이 최상의 학습성과를 만들어낼 것이다.

다문화시대 이중언어교육을 위한 교육연극 (Process Drama for Bilingual Education in Multiculturalism)

  • The thesis is to look for the method of applying process drama for bilingual education in multicultural society. This purpose can be resolved in three steps: first, to understand the purposes and functions of education changing to multicultural society; second, to survey the need of bilingual education conformed to its purposes and functions; last, to understand the theoretical background of process drama and seek the method of utilizing it to bilingual education. Recently, the Korean society is also changing to multicultural society with international marriages and immigrant workers. But they have difficulties in communicating in Korean, and their children have even the same. Under the basis of multiculturalism wanting peace and mutual respect between cultural groups, they have to be educated in equality. This is why the bilingual education is needed in our society. Process drama, a widely used term for educational drama in Britain, claims its effectiveness for L1, L2 and bilingual education, for the principal medium in drama is language and what drama delivers is related to meaningful human experiences. It is also supported on script theory of linguistic therapy. Kase-Polisini classifies the developmental process of education drama into 1) planning, 2) playing and 3) evaluation. This process can be applied to educational drama for language as well. Rather, educational drama applying to bilingual education has even more availability with the varieties of group organization and subject matter. Conclusively speaking, the group of dual language schools can be organized into 1) mother-tongued group, 2) mother-tongued and L2 group, 3) multilingual group, or 4) L3 group in educational drama activity, as the class generally consist of the mixed multilingual children. And the subject matter can deal with 1) the Korean society and culture, 2) the society and culture of the purposed language country, or 3) the society and culture of the third nations.

영유아를 위한 스마트폰 어플리케이션에 관한 인식 조사 (구강보건교육 매체를 중심으로) (Perception of smartphone applications for oral health care education in infants and toddlers)

  • Objectives: This study aimed to provide basic data for future development and promotion of oral health care educational material. We examined the perception of teachers and parents on the use of smartphone applications as educational materials and the factors affecting the intent to use such materials in infants and toddlers. Methods: Teachers and parents of children enrolled in educational institutions in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province, Korea, participated in this study for a one-month period starting from August 2018. Results: The intent to use a freely available smartphone application for oral health education in infants and toddlers was high for both parents and teachers at 81.7% and 78.4%, respectively. The intent to use increased 10.089-fold when a child had unrestricted access to mobile devices, and 4.435-fold when the execution path required modification; however, the ease of use was not compromised. Additionally, the intent to use also increased 2.488-fold when a child had used an educational oral healthcare material that is currently available, and by 2.431-fold and 2.219-fold when a child had previous experiences with an educational mobile application developed for infants and toddlers. Conclusions: Our findings showed that the teachers and parents had a positive perception towards the use of mobile applications for oral health care education in infants and toddlers. We recommend the development and promotion of mobile-based educational applications on oral health care, which are tailored to the needs and oral characteristics of infants and toddlers to help develop good oral care habits.

  • We report about the international cooperative activities for the engineering education between a German University and a Japanese University. After the experiences for 15 years of cooperation, both in research and student exchange, we learned a lot about the differences between these two educational systems. This report summarizes the differences and the future perspective for the improvement of engineering education based on the understanding of the differences, including advantages and disadvantages, between two educational systems.

  • As a part of attempts to understand better mathematics classroom culture, this paper first reviews plausible factors which influence the mathematics teacher's own development of instructional goals. The proposed factors consist of teacher characteristics and sociocultural factors. The teacher factors include learning and teaching experience, knowledge, beliefs, and personality traits. The sociocultural factors include cultural and educational norms, curriculum development and administration, teacher education, and professional models with community, This paper then presents detailed interview questions to explore significant influences on the teacher's conceptions of mathematics and its teaching. The interview probes 12 topic areas: (a) early influences on becoming a teacher, (b) the decision to become a teacher, (c) the teacher education years, (d) early mathematics interests, (e) early teaching experiences, (f) career path, (g) influence of peers within the school, (h) influence of administrators, (i) professional development, (j) professional self-development, (k) mathematics teaching, and (i) educational policies.

스프레드시트를 기반으로 한 새로운 경영과학 강의 방식 (Spreadsheet-based Educational Method for Management Science)

  • New attempt has been made on Management Science (MS) education since the end of 1990s. The most distinctive feature of the new attempt is using spreadsheet program like Excel as a teaching tool for MS course. The spreadsheet program gives an excellent tool for modeling and solvina MS problems. In order to improve the pedagogical effect through using the spreadsheet program for MS course, new teaching model based on spreadsheet encompassing new course contents, effective instruction method, and examination method is needed. For this purpose, professors teaching MS should share their own teaching experiences and methods. So this paper explains remarkable functions of Excel and how to use them for the MS tools. This paper also stresses the importance of team project and case study to improve the effect of MS education through the use of Excel and presents some tips on MS education.

지식경영을 위한 웹사이트 신뢰의 조절효과에 대한 연구: 정보화마을 웹사이트를 대상으로 (The Empirical Test of Moderating Effect of Website's Trust for Knowledge Managment: Applying for e-Village's Website)

  • In this study, we investigated the repeated vist of the e-village shopping mall as an online agricultural business platform. We applied Pine and Gilmore (1998) theory for the e-village website information systems. We hypothesized that 4 dimensions such as entertainment experience, educational experience, esthetic experience, and escapist experience toward satisfaction and, moreover, we investigated the moderating trust effect of satisfaction and repeated visit website. We set those independent variables (entertainment experience, educational experience, esthetic experience, and escapist experience) and dependent variable as experience satisfaction. The results indicated that the 4 experiences factors had a positive effect on the experiential satisfaction, and the trust moderating effect has a negative effection between the experiential satisfaction and the repeated visit. The experiential satisfaction had a positive effect on the repeated visit of e-village websites.
