Reversible Multipurpose Watermarking Algorithm Using ResNet and Perceptual Hashing

  • To effectively track the illegal use of digital images and maintain the security of digital image communication on the Internet, this paper proposes a reversible multipurpose image watermarking algorithm based on a deep residual network (ResNet) and perceptual hashing (also called MWR). The algorithm first combines perceptual image hashing to generate a digital fingerprint that depends on the user's identity information and image characteristics. Then it embeds the removable visible watermark and digital fingerprint in two different regions of the orthogonal separation of the image. The embedding strength of the digital fingerprint is computed using ResNet. Because of the embedding of the removable visible watermark, the conflict between the copyright notice and the user's browsing is balanced. Moreover, image authentication and traitor tracking are realized through digital fingerprint insertion. The experiments show that the scheme has good visual transparency and watermark visibility. The use of chaotic mapping in the visible watermark insertion process enhances the security of the multipurpose watermark scheme, and unauthorized users without correct keys cannot effectively remove the visible watermark.

  • 최근 정보통신기술의 발달과 더불어 다양한 혁신적인 기술이 개발되고 있다. 이러한 기술은 우리의 모든 삶의 방식을 변화시키고 있다. 특히 스마트기술은 우리의 삶을 극적으로 바꾸어 놓고 있다. 스마트폰과 테브릿 PC등 스마트 기기들은 교육분야에 활용되어 소위 "스마트 러닝"이라는 개념이 탄생되어 교육분야에 적용되고 있다. 현재 스마트러닝은 교육분야에 스마트기기의 확산과 더불어 활발하게 진행되고 있다. 이러한 스마트 환경에서 개인의 소양능력을 구분하기 위해서 스마트 소양 척도가 필요하다. 하지만 현재까지 스마트 소양 척도에 대한 연구는 미미한 실정이다. 본 연구의 목적은 스마트 러닝 환경에서 교사와 학생의 스마트 소양 척도를 개발하는 것이다. 본 연구의 스마트 소양척도는 기존의 ICT 소양척도를 기반으로 개발되었다. 본 연구의 스마트 소양 척도는 4개의 분야로 구성되어 있다. 즉 스마트 교육, 스마트 소양, 스마트 활용 및 스마트 윤리이다. 스마트 소양 척도를 개발하기 위해서 교수, 교사 및 연구원 등 다양한 전문가집단을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 설문결과는 광범위한 통계처리를 통해 최종적인 스마트 소양 척도가 개발되었다.

A MODELING PERSPECTIVE OF DELIBERATE SELF-HARM

  • Deliberate self-harm (DSH) is the act of deliberately harming your own body, such as cutting or burning yourself, without suicidal intent. It has especially become a problem among adolescents and college-age students in institutional settings such as boarding schools, Greek houses, detention centers and hospitals. We focus on contagion of DSH among adolescents and young adults by creating a deterministic epidemiological model. We study the impact of actual peer pressure, virtual peer pressure (the Internet) and treatment analytically in terms of a basic reproduction number through stability analysis of a system of ordinary differential equations. All parameters are approximated and results are also explored by simulations. The model shows that DSH is present in an endemic state in the population considered, and the control strategies are discussed.

E-mail Classification and Category Re-organization using Dynamic Category Hierarchy and PCA

  • The amount of incoming e-mails is increasing rapidly due to the wide usage of Internet. We often group e-mails into categories for maintaining e-mail efficiently. However reading the email messages and classifying them is still tedious task. Moreover, the number of e-mails and manual classifying is increasing everyday. So, automatic e-mail classification is important techniques. In this paper, we propose a multi-way e-mail classification method that uses PCA for automatic category generation and dynamic category hierarchy for re-organizing e-mail categories. It classifies a huge amount of receiving e-mail messages automatically, efficiently, and accurately.

대학생의 정보리터러시에 영향을 미치는 요인 분석 (Information Literacy: Identification of Factors Affecting Undergraduate Students)

  • 선행연구를 고찰하여, 정보리터러시 관련 교육에 대한 노출, 각종 정보원에 대한 경험, 정보 이용 관련 교수진의 조언, 개인적 배경 등을 정보리터러시에 영향을 미치는 독립변인으로, 정보리터러시 태도와 실제 능력을 종속 변인으로 추출하고, 대학생을 대상으로 한 측정도구를 고안하여 조사를 수행한 후, 관련 요인의 현황과 요인간 관계 및 영향력 정도를 통계적으로 분석하였다. 정보리터러시의 개인별 집단별 차이, 낮은 도서관이용교육 노출과 교수진의 조언 등이 문제점으로 드러났으며, 컴퓨터와 인터넷 교육, 각종 정보원 이용 경험 성별과 전공계열 등이 정보리터러시에 영향을 미치는 요인으로 입증되었다. 연구결과에 기초하여 정보리터러시 향상을 위한 사회의 인식전환, 이용교육의 실질적 변화, 고등교육기관 및 관련 협회의 유기적 협력과 노력 등이 제안되었다.

  • 인터넷 기술의 발달로 인하여 웹 기반 학습이 증가추세에 있다. 웹 환경에서 학습도 전통적인 학습과 마찬가지로 학습 내용과 더불어 학습한 과정이나 결과에 대한 평가도 포함되어야 진정한 교육의 과정(Process)이 완성된다고 할 수 있다. 현재까지 웹 기반 학습의 평가는 학습의 결과나 지식 이해 위주의 평가가 주를 이루고 있으며 평가 결과에 대한 적절한 피드백이 제공되지 못하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 학습자가 웹 기반 학습을 하는 과정에 평가를 할 수 있도록 하였으며 즉각적인 피드백의 제공으로 학습자가 자기주도적인 학습을 해 나가는데 도움을 주도록 하였다. 즉, 교사가 작성한 문제를 문제은행화하여 데이타베이스에 저장하고 주제어, 학년, 학기, 단원별 검색이 가능하도록 하였으며 각 문제마다 정답과 오답에 대한 피드백을 줄 수 있도록 하였다. 또한 학습자는 학습을 해 나가면서 문제를 풀고 즉각적인 피드백을 제공받음으로써 문제 해결에 도움을 주며 학습의 동기를 유발하여 웹을 통한 교수 학습의 질을 향상시킬 수 있는 시스템을 설계하고 구현하였다.

A Study on the right to be forgotten in Digital Information Societies

  • In the case of uploading privacy information of an information owner in the Internet, the information owner may want to deliver the privacy information itself or remove such information from the search list in order to prevent third parties from accessing the privacy information of the information owner. Such a right to be forgotten may collide with the freedom of expression of a third party. The right to be forgotten, which originates from the self-determination right on privacy information based on Article 10 and 17 of the Constitution and the freedom of expression, which is based on Article 21 thereof are all relative basic rights and are both limited by Item 2 under Article 37 of the same law, which is the general limitation provision for the basic rights. Therefore, when the right to be forgotten and the freedom of expression collides, it is not possible to give priority to one of the those unilaterally. It depends on the nature of the case at hand to find a natural balance for the harmonious solution for both parties. The criteria can be the sensitivity to the privacy of the information owner caused by the disclose of the privacy information, the public benefits such information may serve, the social common good that could be expected by the disclosure of the privacy information and the damages suffered in terms of the personal interest caused by the disclosure of the information, in a comprehensive manner.

  • This survey suggests current dairy information system in Kyong-ki province and personal computer education for dairy farmers in Korea. With the development of internet and dairy database system, more effective, quick delivery of dairy management and technology would be possible. Dairy expert's E-mail advice and using multimedia will be a great method to provide dairy technologies in Korea.

  • Postpartum depression is one of the most serious problems in maternal health because it affects not only the mother but also her family. Postpartum depression disturbs maternal -infant interaction and attachment. However, most postpartum depression patients ignore this problem and do not seek treatment. Thus this study in conducted to development of a Home-Based Multimedia Tutoring System for postpartum depression management. With this computerized system, mothers in the postpartum periods can check the level of postpartum depression using a personal computer. This system will go through each mother's data and screen those who have abnormal values. In addition this system includes intervention programs -education for nutrition, hygiene care, sleep, postpartum exercise, methods of relaxation, deep breathing, visualization, music therapy and family therapy-to relieve postpartum depression. Using this system, a mother who has a minor level of depression can manage it by herself. Computer language used in this study were html 3.2, OS used was Microsoftware NT Server 4.0, the graphic tool was Adobe Photoshop 4.0, and the Webpage tool was Notepade. The results of this study are show at internet “URL : http : //203.241.225.42/”. Finally, the author suggests that this system could be adequately applied to assessing postpartum depression and as a intervention strategy for mothers during the postpartum period. Further this study contributes to designing an appropriate postpartum depression prevention strategy.

Legacy of Smart Device, Social Network and Ubiquitous E-class System

  • Everyday, technology is evolved in many different disciplines. Computer and smart devices revolution take part of the evolved technology that continuously promising new features. Moreover, social networks services recently become widely popular, which most people in the world become a social-network-fond. In addition to the revolution of the evolved technology and social networks services, ubiquitousness is taking significant part in our daily lives. Although, there are many e-learning systems already existed, which use Internet technology along with a Web technology to provide education in various ways, in despite of that, there is no such existing system exploits the usefulness of smart devices along with the legacy of the online social networks besides the power of the ubiquitous computing technology. Therefore, we propose a smart device application, which fills the gap that has been missing in the recent contemporary era. It is an application that runs on smart devices particularly Smartphone devices; we call our system “Smart Device based Social E-learning System(SDES)”. We have preliminary implemented our system on Android OS. In this paper, we intentionally propose the system in order to ease the way people learn, to provide interactive accessibility in our system, and to utilize the advanced technology more wisely.
