Knowledge Management (KM) is a collaborative and integrated approach adopted at various levels to ensure that an organization's knowledge assets are best utilized to increase organizational performance. While KM has been adopted in a large number of sectors and organizations, colleges and universities, and the higher education sector in general, is yet to take full advantage of the possibilities offered by KM. Also, while past research has sought to highlight the importance of implementing KM in higher education, there is a lack of a single, clear template for KM implementation that universities leaders and administrators can adopt. The contribution of the paper is a practical, actionable, step-by-step plan, as well as a diagrammatic, theoretical framework for initiating KM successfully in colleges and universities.

With the advent of the 6th and the 7th national educational curricula in Korea. English language teaching in communicative perspective has been highly recommended and widely practised in that context. The aim of new approach is to enhance the students' general communication abilities in English. However, English teachers still find it very hard to improve the students' communicative competence in English since English remains to be taught as a school subject. In so far as English is taught as a school subject, students' attention is paid to the formal elements of English and the increase in communicative competence in English is hardly expected Only when the students' attention is paid to the content, their communicative competence is expected to increase. The best way to shift the students' attention from formal elements to content is to teach other school subjects in English, that is, English immersion education. To introduce immersion education to Korea, the two most successful examples of Singapore and Hong Kong are reviewed in terms of language policies and general practices in their primary and secondary schools respectively. To implement the program into Korea, extensive research on it is expected henceforth.

The purpose of this study was to determine what effect reflection on clinical practice experience had students as learners and care providers. Qualitative research method was used to study a group of four-year undergraduate nursing course. Content analysis was done using the classification method of Carper's four patterns of knowing. Results of the study indicated that the use of the reflective process of clinical debriefing and journaling was impact on the aspect of nursing science, moral component of knowledge in nursing, personal knowing in nursing and the art of nursing. Especially, students moved from a passive to a more active mode of learning. The most significant finding was that over time, reflective processes resulted in the emergence of the client as the central focus of care. It was suggested that reflection was an important learning tool in professional education and that the skills required for reflection need to be developed in professional courses.

The purpose of the study is to develop instructional materials for improving thinking ability in home economics at middle school. To achieve the purpose. teaching elements were analyzed through the content of middle school Home Economics curriculum and eight textbooks. In addition, the specific learning objectives were identified accordingly and the focus of thinking were drawn in each teaching element. Also, instructional method for the development of thinking ability were proposed by each teaching element and focus of thinking. Finally. Instructional Materials were developed forty three topics for the content areas of food, clothing, housing, resource management and consumerism.

This paper focuses on development of a fashion design education course that will foster the talent and aesthetic consciousness of fashion design student. The writer reached the content of the designing ideas to practical applications as the defined scope of fashion design education. For designing idea in practical application : matching ideas, contrasting ideas, formative combinations and revisionism were used. For design ideas, the ideas developed by 飯塚弘子, 万江入重子, 香川達子 were used in revision. To detail the content of design education, fashion magazines, portfolios, photographs and related fashion design educational materials were used. 1. Matching ideas : it proposes such identical expression into costume by making a research of developing material, application form and color extraction from design sources. 2. Contrasting ideas : it proposes such opposite expression into costume by making a research of opposite to image, form, position and purpose from some object. 3. Formative combinations : it proposes such new expression into costume by combining a detail of costume with the other object. 4. Revisionism : it proposes such modified expression into costume by making a research of deletion, change, addition and conversion in costume.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the understanding of basic knowledge of mathematics for $6^{th}$ grade students in elementary school by an essay test and provide instructional suggestions for teachers. A total of 132 students from 6 classes in 3 elementary schools were tested and analyzed in terms of the characteristics of correct answers and types of incorrect answers. The results showed that students had poor understanding of basic conceptual concepts and principles throughout six content areas of school mathematics curriculum, despite their good performance on mathematical skills. This study included implications to teaching and learning for each of the content areas.

The three different polymer compounds were manufactured with the three different fire retardant (silane coated magnesium dihydroxide) contents, 180, 200, 220 phr, for making cable sheath for ship industry. In the research, ethylene-vinylacetate, polyethylene as matrix polymers and ethylene-vinylacetate grafted maleic anhydride as coupling agent were selected for compounding with fire retardant, closslinking agent, plasticizer, and other additives. In the evaluation. ΔT, Mooney viscosity, and tensile strength increased with the content of fire retardant. But it was found that too much fire retardant damaged aging resistance and cold resistance of the polymer compound.

The purpose of this study was to analyze recent research trends of mathematics textbooks to provide implications for textbook research and development. For this purpose, 90 out of 1121 research papers published between 2006 and 2011 in seven prestigious domestic journals were selected. The papers dealing with only Korean mathematics textbooks were analyzed by school levels (i.e., elementary or secondary), mathematics content areas, analytic methods, and implications. The papers comparing our mathematics textbooks with foreign counterparts were analyzed by reasons for the comparison, school levels, subjects for analysis, and implications. The results of this study urge us to pay more attention to secondary mathematics textbooks, least studied content areas, and various but inconsistent analytic methods. This paper also suggests close connections between textbook analysis and textbook development.

It is the development of a mathematics teachers' teaching knowledge that manifests a mathematics teacher's professional knowledge growth. It is becoming a direct and effective approach of conversion of mathematical knowledge into the knowledge of mathematics teaching. Through the investigation, the study revealed that the knowledge conversion process of mathematics teachers in middle school is restricted by three aspects including eight factors. From this point, the authors have structured the path and model on influencing factors of middle school Mathematics Teaching Knowledge Conversion (MPCK), and discuss the mechanism of the transformation process.
