  • This study aims to determine the relation between the real sector and the financial sector in underdeveloped areas in Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia. To facilitate understanding of these linkages, researchers use the logic of credit channel mechanism of monetary policy, financial intermediation, as well as supply leading and demand following theories. The research variables include economic growth, inflation, liquidity, and NPL at the provincial level, with a data sample from 2008 to 2019. This research uses VAR/VECM as the analysis tools. The findings of the long-term analysis in East Nusa Tenggara show there is a phenomenon of cost-push inflation as well as the negative relation between inflation and economic growth. The impact of liquidity on inflation is positive, while the impact of economic growth on inflation is negative. Meanwhile, in West Nusa Tenggara, the impact of economic growth on inflation is positive. On the other hand, the impact of liquidity and NPL on inflation and economic growth is negative. In conclusion, generally, the economy in West Nusa Tenggara is better than the East Nusa Tenggara. The key to improving the economy of Nusa Tenggara is by improving its liquidity. This can be done by increasing the volume of public savings to increase bank credit capacity.

  • Purpose: Numerous prior researchers have identified only that sustainable management of ESG factors promotes business value creation and shapes enhanced innovation performance. This study aims to determine the positive relationships between ESG management and economic development, focusing on the mutual benefits and risks and the various stakeholders involved in managing change. Research design, data and methodology: This study selected the PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses) statement as a key methodology. Literature search used the following databases: Web of Science, Scopus, and Google Scholar. The quality assessment criteria for selected prior studies ranged from issues like design, sample size and the representativeness of the subjects, validity of measurements, and analytical strength. Results: The findings of this study indicates that there are four critical solutions for economic development triggers using ESG strategy, such as (1) ESG and Innovation-Driven Growth, (2) ESG and Human Capital Development, (3) ESG and Operational Efficiency, (4) ESG and Market Opportunities. This study insists that public-private partnerships are critical for enhancing sustainable economic development and meeting the needs of society. Conclusions: It is, therefore, important for governments and policymakers to play a critical role in setting the proper framework that allows for the uptake of ESG and an enabling environment for sustainable economic development.

  • Within the current construction industry, constractor equipment management practices lack structure and often are not addressed through an economic analysis and evaluation process. This paper explores two areas...cost of capital and inflation...with the intention of providing insight for a more structured and economic based approach to contractor equipment replacement practices rather than by the traditional "rule of thumb".umb".uot;.

  • Human capital theory and social capital theory provide a framework for analyzing economic well-being. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of human capital and social capital on the economic well-being of the elderly. The data from the 1st wave of KLoSA (Korean Longitudinal Study of Aging) were used (n=3,426). The major findings were as follows: First, human capital and social capital are both resources that can contribute to increasing the economic well-being of the elderly. Second, the effects of human capital on the economic well-being of the elderly were relatively higher than the effects of social capital. Third, the relative contributions of human capital and social capital to increasing economic well-being varied by sex, age, and region. Based on the empirical results, the implications for social investment in human capital and social capital were provided.

  • Tris paper present an economic statistical design which have statistically constraints for the optimal design of an EWMA control charts with variable sampling interval. Cost function use that proposed by Lorenzen and Vance, and the optimal design parameters include the sample size, control limit width, sampling interval, EWMA weight value. Comparisons between VSI EWMA control charts optimal economic design and optimal economic statistical designs show the following fact. Although have demerits which are more costly than economic design, have merits which to detect shifts more efficiently and to improve statistical performance.

  • Variable sampling interval(VSI) and variable sample size(VSS) control charts vary the sampling rate for the next sample depending on the current chart statistic. This paper develops EWMA charts with the VSI and VSS features, and investigates the effectiveness of these charts in context of an economic model. The economic properties of these charts are evaluated by using Markov chain methods. The model contains cost parameters which allow the specification of the costs associated with sampling, false alarms, and operating off target. This economic model can be used to quantify the cost saving that can be obtained by using control charts with the VSI and VSS features instead of with the fixed sampling rate(FSR) feature, and can also be used to gain insight into the way that control charts with the VSI and VSS features should be designed to achieve optimal economic performance. The economic performance of X charts with the VSI and VSS features is also considered.

  • The purposes of the research in related to FSC in JuJe experimental forests (JJEFs) is to make pre and post socio-economic comparisons and play an important role of FSC, and recognition change to FSC timbers and to make an analysis to consumers' needs. As the results of onsite survey in 2005, respondents show a high awareness of SFM and FSC in comparisons of 2004, and the JJEFs play a critical role to make SFM and FSC advertisement worldwide, such as consumers' satisfaction to SFM and FSC is high. Hence provision of JJEF information such as job creation and socio-economic impacts to stockholders could make their satisfaction improving. Most of respondents to the FSC of JJEF represent a positive rate while low awareness to FSC timber is represented. Therefore, necessary information about JJEF FSC with forest management, process and consumption pattern of FSC is required into citizens. The final results prove that FSC effects such as 1.3 billion won direct additional benefits in terms of socio-economic aspects including environmental benefits and job creation and economic effects are enough to offset 1.3 billion won additional costs.

  • Most of irradiated graphite that should be disposed comes from moderators and reflectors of nuclear power plants. The quantity of irradiated graphite could be higher in the future if high-temperature reactors (HTRs) will be deployed. In this case noteworthy quantities of fuel pebbles containing semi-graphitic carbonaceous material should be added to the already existing 250,000 tons of irradiated graphite. Industry graphite is largely used in industrial applications for its high thermal and electrical conductivity and thermal and chemical resistance, making it a valuable material. Irradiated graphite constitutes a waste management challenge owing to the presence of long-lived radionuclides, such as 14C and 36Cl. In the ENEA Nuclear Material Characterization Laboratory it has been successfully designed a procedure based on the exfoliation process organic solvent assisted, with the purpose of investigate the possibility of achieving graphite significantly less toxic that could be recycled for other purpose [1]. The objective of this paper is to evaluate the possibility of the scalability from laboratory to industrial dimensions of the exfoliation process and provide the prototype of a chemical plant for the treatment of irradiated graphite.

  • We established economic models for economic performance analysis in order to respond to changes in a rapidly changing environment. We tried to maximize business efficiency and performance of science and technology information management distribution project. The science and technology information management distribution project is significantly different from general R&D project. In this paper, it is meaningful to develop economic models to analyze economic outcomes for science and technology information management distribution project. We anticipate that these models will contribute greatly to economic performance analysis for science and technology information management distribution project.

  • To justify the economic impacts of the internet access management is a purpose of this paper. Previous researches on economic justification were reviewed and the internet access management system. sniffer, and firewall were implemented to monitor real-time sessions and to record blocked attempts. This paper suggests the impact factors and measurement methods to justify the economic values of the internet access management system. Finally, this paper Proves that the overall impacts of the internet access management system have a Positive value because filtering mechanisms cause users to lose a small number of URLs including useful information and to diminish refreshment but save users from various risk points and enhance labor productivity.
