친환경 대중교통 수단에 대한 인지적 특성 비교 분석 : 주성분분석을 활용하여 (Cognitive Perception of an Eco-friendly Public Transportation : Using Principal Component Analysis)

  • 교통분야의 환경오염, 석유자원고갈, 지구온난화 문제 등으로 내연기관 중심의 기존 교통시스템은 전기화를 기반으로 빠르게 재편되고 있다. 이에 수송효율이 뛰어난 친환경 대중교통수단이 향후 시장에 지속적으로 보급될 예정이다. 본 연구는 친환경 대중교통 수단들의 성공적인 도입을 위하여 대중교통 수단들의 기술적·사회적 요인들에 대한 이용 승객들의 인지적 특성을 비교분석하여 서비스 향상을 위한 방향 제시를 목표로 한다. 설문조사(N=485)를 통해 7가지 교통수단(전기버스, 수소버스, 경유버스, CNG버스, 지하철, 전기택시, 내연기관 택시)에 대한 7가지 요인(친환경성, 차내 청결성, 혼잡성, 도시 이미지, 가격경쟁력, 좌석 편안함, 승차감)의 평가가 진행되었으며, 이를 주성분분석을 활용해 분석하였다. 분석결과 잠재적 이용 승객들은 친환경 버스의 친환경성 및 도시 이미지 상승에 큰 기대를 가지고 있었으며, 기존 버스대비 차내 청결성 및 승차감도 뛰어날 것이라는 인식을 가지고 있음이 확인되었다. 연구 결과를 통하여 친환경 대중교통 수단들에 대한 승객들의 인지적 특성을 파악할 수 있었으며, 이들 결과가 친환경 교통수단의 이미지 포지셔닝 및 서비스 향상을 위한 기초 자료로 활용되기를 기대한다.

영상분석을 통한 바이오폴리머로 보강된 제방사면 안정성 해석 (Assessment of Levee Slope Reinforced with Bio-polymer by Image Analysis)

  • 이 연구는 자연에 기반을 둔 하천기술을 제방에 적용하여 그 효과를 평가하기 위해 수행되었다. 친환경 신소재 바이오폴리머를 제체 표면에 적용하여 내구성과 친환경성을 증진시킴과 동시에 월류에 대응하기 위한 제방의 보강 대책을 수립하고자 하였다. 안동하천연구센터에 현장토를 사용하여 높이 1 m, 마루 폭 3 m, 사면경사 1:2, 총 길이 5 m의 중규모 제방모형을 제작하였으며, 바이오폴리머와 흙을 적정 비율로 혼합한 바이오-소일 (bio-soil)을 제방 전면에 5 cm 두께로 도포하여 월류 발생에 대한 제방의 안정성 평가 실험을 수행하였다. 영상분석 프로그램을 이용한 픽셀기반 분석 기법을 적용하여 시간에 따른 제방사면의 붕괴면적을 산정하였으며 그 결과, 신소재 적용 제방의 경우 완전붕괴가 발생하는 시간은 일반 흙 제방에 비해 12배 이상 증가해서 붕괴지연효과가 상당히 높은 것으로 나타났다.

  • Pump cap is a product that is widely used due to its ease of use and simple operation. These pump caps are applied to heterogeneous functional cosmetics and are being developed as dual pump caps. However, the conventional dual pump cap has a problem in that it is inconvenient to use and leakage occurs. In addition, it is formed of a plurality of materials, and there is a problem that is difficult to recycle. Lately, since the problem of environmental pollution is getting serious, the dual pump cap, which is difficult to recycle, cannot be used. Currently, eco-friendliness has been considered in Korea, and there are no dual pump cap containers with excellent sealing performance. Therefore, in this study, a dual pump cap container made of eco-friendly material was designed. In addition, finite element analysis was performed to verify the design feasibility of the product.

한글 캘리그래피를 활용한 업 사이클링 문화상품 개발 (Development of up-cycling cultural products using Hangul calligraphy)

  • This study is designed to present a direction for the development of an up-cycling design applied with Hangeul calligraphy on outdated clothing materials, and recreating them as eco-friendly high value-added cultural products. The results of this study are as follows. First, Hangeul calligraphy enhances creativity and scarcity by expressing an unformatted analog sensibility in the digital era and further emphasizes the differentiated high value-added aspect of the products. Second, the characteristics of the up-cycling design products represent eco-friendliness, handcrafting, non-fabrication, originality, scarcity, storytelling, and customization. Third, the author made 11 up-cycling cultural products using Hangeul calligraphy, applying it to discarded jeans and pieces of cloth. Fourth, the phases of making cultural products are divided into planning and production. In the planning phase, items and materials are decided upon, design sketches are made, and in the production phase the items go through partial dismantlement, separation, reconstruction, collaboration, and the application of calligraphy printing. Along with the beautiful and lyrical sensibility of Hangul, it was shown that up-cycling using Hangeul calligraphy, which has excellent originality and practicality of design, can be expanded to a variety of cultural products.

  • Global warming has become one of the most important social responsibilities. After Kyoto protocol for greenhouse gas reduction by climatic change convention came into effect, developed countries are presenting various policies to reduce greenhouse gas that is produced in transport field. One of those policies is modal shift that change from road freight to sea, inland waterway and railway transportation that is eco-friendly. Because increase of road freight brings about road congestion and accident, logistics cost, air pollution and green house gases. Railways are superior to all other modes of transport in mass transportability, high speed, timeliness, safety and environmental-friendliness, but the railway industry has been pushed behind in competition. In developed country's government actively promoted relevant legislation, policies, and countermeasures known as modal shift policies to shift freight transport from road to large volume mode such as railway and ship. In this paper, we discuss the current situation in modal shift, compare it with cases in other countries EU and Japan, identify problems in Korea, and propose the following ways to enhance competitiveness of rail freight.

친환경건축물인증제도의 평가지표 분석에 관한 연구 - 서울시 학교시설의 사후평가를 중심으로 - (A Study on Evaluation Indicator Analysis of the Green Building Certification - Focused on Post Evaluation of the Education Facilities case in Seoul -)

  • In the current condition of seeking eco-friendly development, Green Building Certification Criteria can reduce environment burden that is able to be arose in life cycles of buildings. Moreover, it is a great help to induce to constructing pleasant environment. The ripple effect that also improves saving of energy and resources of the whole country, and green-house gases reduction effect and environment friendliness of other buildings can be expected by promoting eco-friendly education facilities which accounts for a great part of public buildings in comparison with other buildings. In this study, analysis of old and new indicators' contrast and contents in Green Building Certification, and post evaluation of education facilities and interviews on authorities were proceeded for improving evaluation indicator of each item in Green Building Certification Criteria. As a result, it analyzed problems in terms of institution and operations management, and drew implications accordingly. In addition, it has a significance in that it proposes improvements of substantively applicable indicators with high applicability.

  • Around the world, fossil fuel energy is being replaced with renewable energy due to environmental problems and sharp price increases. Many countries are making a change in the direction of moving toward eco-friendliness by reducing carbon emissions. Among renewable energies, the wind energy is eco-friendly because it produces electricity by wind power without carbon emissions, and it attracts attention worldwide as a great alternative to the exhausted fuel energy. To improve the efficiency of wind turbines, large and extra-large wind turbines have been developed all over the world by increasing install and diameter. These wind turbines have difficulty in transport after manufacture because of their size and height. Since the height of wind turbine blades is higher than the existing tunnel height, it is impossible to transport them. In this study, therefore, a 5 MW class large blade was separated for transport easiness as wind power generators became larger globally. Aerodynamic design and analysis was carried out for the blade. After performing structural design and analysis with the model designed, the stress concentration of the analyzed model and the various factors for consideration when separating were considered to conduct the study of selecting the optimal blade separation positions.

PEI를 활용한 건설시설물의 친환경 설계평가모델 (Eco-Friendly Design Evaluation Model Using PEI for Construction Facilities)

  • 2015년 말 신기후변화협약인 파리협정(Paris Agreement)이 체결됨에 따라 우리나라의 환경정책에도 많은 영향을 미칠 것으로 보인다. 우리나라의 전체 이산화탄소 배출량의 42%를 차지하고 있는 건설업은 그동안 환경문제를 개선하기 위하여 다양한 정책을 펼쳐 왔지만, 친환경건축물 인증에 해당하는 프로젝트 외에는 소극적 적용에 그치고 있다. 이는 대부분의 친환경 관련제도가 건축시설물을 위주로 하기 때문인 것으로 판단된다. 따라서 건축 뿐 아니라 토목시설물에도 광범위하게 적용될 수 있는 새로운 친환경 설계평가모델이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 기존의 VE모델을 기반으로 시설물의 친환경성, 잠재적인 환경오염 개념과 환경위험성을 평가 할 수 있는 새로운 요소를 추가하여 의사결정자가 설계단계에서 친환경에 효과적인 대안을 선정할 수 있도록 친환경 설계평가 모델을 제시 하였다. 원안인 블록식 옹벽과 대안인 현장타설 옹벽을 대상으로 사례분석을 실시한 결과 대안의 친환경가치값이 원안보다 1.026배 높게 산출되었다. 본 모델이 설계단계에서 활용된다면 환경친화적인 시설물의 건설뿐 아니라 탄소배출량의 감축에도 기여할 것으로 기대된다.

시흥시 주요 저수지의 환경친화적 공간 계획 (Environmental Friendly Space Planning for Reservoirs in Siheung City)

  • This report designs a landscape plan of six reservoirs in Sihung city which has possibilities both in development and in destruction. The report suggests how to create a leisure space in harmony with the surroundings in Sihung city. Building a leisure town will create the local residents' demand in recreational activities and improve the amenities. Therefore this study analyzes eco-friendliness of the land, conditions of fauna and flora, the quality of water and the usage figures of the six reservoirs so as to develop those six reservoirs more eco-friendly. Based on environmentalism, the leisure spot development plan attribute the ultimate importance to local residents' pleasant leisure time and recreations. With this master plan, the report suggests expanding the city's green space, since the city has under 50% out of the optimal percentage of green space per person. In addition, the report intends to plan each six reservoirs developed separately but organically connected at the same time that those six can put together and become a Sihung Green Way which makes the city's leisure space a belt. Apportioning the six reservoirs development levels in order to balance the development, accumulating and arranging buildings and facilities in available spaces according to the governing law, and creating resting area, promenade and parking lot to make an eco-city. Also the report suggests conserving environment and regulating contamination such as ban on fishing to move forward sustainable development. Since the adventives predominate the site, introducing indigenous plants should be necessary soon.

기계적 합금화법으로 제조된 $MgH_x-Fe_2O_3$ 복합재료의 수소화 특성 평가 (The Evaluation of Hydrogenation Properties on $MgH_x-Fe_2O_3$ Composite by Mechanical Alloying)

  • Hydrogen has a high potential to be a renewable substitute for fossil fuels, because of its high gravimetric energy density and environment friendliness. In particular, Magnesium have attracted much interest since their hydrogen capacity exceeds that of known metal hydrides. One of the approaches to improve the kinetic is addition of metal oxide. In this paper, the effect of $Fe_2O_3$ concentration on the kinetics of Mg hydrogen absorption reaction was investigated. $MgH_x-Fe_2O_3$ composites have been synthesized by hydrogen induced mechanical alloying. The powder synthesized was characterized by XRD, SEM and simultaneous TG, DSC analysis. The hydrogenation behaviors were evaluated by using a sievert's type automatic PCT apparatus. Absorption and desorption kinetics of Mg catalyzed with 5,10 mass% $Fe_2O_3$ are determined at 423, 473, 523, 573, 623K.
