Portfolios have gained attention in medical education as a tool for promoting student learning and assessment since Miller's call for better tools for assessing students' clinical competencies. This paper reviews the development and use of e-portfolios for promoting learning and assessment in medical schools, both domestically in Korea and internationally. This review finds that some specific features need to be incorporated into e-portfolio systems for medical education and that these systems can be used to manage student learning in clinical clerkships and to support competency-based assessment. The author asserts that the e-portfolio is key to promoting competency-based education and suggests practical tips for effective development and use of e-portfolios in Korean medical schools.

IT portfolio, meaning the ratio of investment with four different purposes of IT, is widely used for evaluating the adequacy of investment and its performance within firms. Despite of such a useful framework looking at investment on IT, IT portfolio in agriculture industry seems to be differentiated from other industries. In this study, we compared IT portfolios of farms: grain, field fruit and vegetable, greenhouse fruit, greenhouse vegetable, beef cattle and pig. We classified farms by their return on equity (ROE) in order to analyze the relationship between IT portfolio of each crop and performance. Then, we found patterns of IT portfolios of top-performance farms compared to all farms for each agricultural product. Lastly, peculiarities of each crop are interpreted and discussed to find out top-performance farms' IT investment patterns. From our study, it could be inferred that monotonous IT investments may not be as effective.

최근 교육 분야에서 e-포트폴리오가 각광을 받고 있으며 많은 교육 기관들이 e-포트폴리오 시스템을 연구, 사용 도입하고 있다. e-포트폴리오의 장점에도 불구하고 문제점도 존재한다. 본 논문에서는 기존의 e-포트폴리오 관리시스템의 문제점을 분석하고 이를 극복할 수 있는 새로운 e-포트폴리오 관리시스템을 제안하고 구현한다. 제안한 e-포트폴리오 관리시스템은 다른 사람들과 경쟁하는 구조로 되어 있다. 모든 학생들의 활동은 블로그와 같은 환경에서 추천과 상호 참여를 유발하도록 구현하였다.

e-러닝 환경에서 e-포트폴리오는 교수자와 학습자 각각 수행한 수업 및 학습에 대한 전반적인 내용을 체계적으로 관리한 결과물로, 이를 활용할 경우 교수자에게는 수업 설계 및 강의를 돕고, 학습자에게 학습결과물을 확인함으로써 자기반성의 기회를 줄 수 있어 매우 유용하다. e-포트폴리오를 생성하기 위한 방법으로는 대표적으로 교수자 및 학습자로부터 직접 수집하는 방법과 e-러닝 시스템을 통한 학습활동의 결과물로 자동적으로 수집하는 방법이 있다. 본 논문에서는 e-포트폴리오를 사용목적에 적합하게 효과적으로 구성하기 위해 데이터를 계층화 하여 분류한 후에 교수자와 학습자의 활용 목적에 맞게 상황별로 구성하여 제공함으로써 효율적인 e-포트폴리오 관리를 할 수 있고, 또한 상황별 구성방식에 대한 로직을 추가함으로써 사용자는 자신만의 e-포트폴리오를 구성할 수 있다.

Purpose: The purpose of this research is to develop the methods for evaluating the business value of a company's technical portfolios. In this study, technical portfolios of 10 major manufacturers and e-Biz industries are examined first from a business model perspective. Subsequently, we suggest future direction of R&D for the pharmaceutical industry by deducing the leading industries sharing similar traits with the pharmaceutical industry. Methods: In order to evaluate and analyze the patents of the major leading industries based on the constituents of a business model, the target patents were selected through the following procedure. Results: First, In this study, using the data obtained from the patent analysis, the differences in the technology portfolios of specific business entities based on the constituents of their business models. Second, deduced business rules of particular business entities through classification analysis and role-model of pharmaceutical industry Conclusion: If enterprise discovers technological change and characters of other enterprise or technology, enterprise could judge a direction of technology which will be developed in the near term and a plan which utilized existing technology to increase enterprise's profits.

포트폴리오는 구성주의 학습을 지원하는 한 방법으로 사용될 수 있다. 현재 교육 현장에서 포트폴리오의 사용이 점차 확대되고 있으나, 현장 적용의 실태나 발전적 활용 방안에 대한 연구는 미약한 편이다. 본 논문에서는 전국의 초 중등학교 재직 교사를 대상으로 포트폴리오 운영에 대한 실증적 자료를 분석하며, 이를 기반으로 지식정보화 사회에 필요한 e-포트폴리오의 설계 방향을 제안한다. 포트폴리오에 대한 이해도, 유형별 운영 현황 분석 결과에 따르면 학교급에 따른 차별화된 시스템 설계와 고경력자에 대한 연수 확대, '안내도우미' 기능 구비를 필요로 한다. 포트폴리오 작성을 위해 많은 시간을 소요하고 일회적, 형식적 수행 평가의 일환으로 운영되는 문제점을 개선하기 위해 학습과 평가를 하나의 과정에서 통합하는 시스템의 설계가 필요하다. 더불어 상호작용 및 자기 주도적 학습을 효과적으로 지원하는 e-포트폴리오의 설계가 요구된다.

Visual literacy, a key element of a design portfolio, is achieved by communicating a consistent visual aesthetic with respect to design elements, design principles and individual style. Yet, students often feel challenged in articulating their personal aesthetic or design philosophy in order to create a unifying design identity within a body of artifacts. This paper shares some best practices on overcoming this challenge through students' engagement in self-reflection and identity formation processes. The implemented innovative strategy in a senior-level portfolio development course for apparel designers involved four different phases: 1) one-on-one meetings to self-reflect on previous design work, 2) selection and revision of artifacts, 3) peer-review and critiques of revised portfolio artifacts, and 4) development of a final ePortfolio to showcase a unified design identity. It was evident that recording students' initial self-reflection in the form of a metacognitive oral report encouraged and motivated identity development in their portfolio. Further, students expressed their satisfaction in the ability to participate in the selection process of artifacts by self-reflecting about what they wanted to highlight about themselves and why. Overall, student outcomes from this strategy exceeded expectations and the portfolios developed were successful in creating a cohesive design identity.

고등학교에서 학생의 진로교육에 대한 기본 자료는 교육과학기술부에서 지원하는 NEIS의 교무업무시스템과 담임교사 중심의 진로교육 자료가 오프라인 형태로 관리 및 운영되고 있어, 학생들의 진로교육을 위한 실질적 의사결정 시스템으로서 활용하기에 어려움이 있다. 본 논문에서는 학생들의 맞춤형 진로교육을 위한 e포트폴리오, 성적 및 상담자료 등을 DB로 구축하여, 인터넷 웹 기반의 학생관리통합시스템(SMTS: Student Management Total System)을 설계하고 구현한다. 이 결과 교사들은 학생의 소질과 적성을 고려한 맞춤형 진로교육을 실시하여, 건전한 직업관을 가진 미래의 국가자원으로 성장시키고자 하는데 그 목적이 있다.

본 연구는 디자인전공 학생들이 취업을 위한 포트폴리오를 만들 때 더 효과적으로 포트폴리오 구성을 할 수 있도록 IT 기업 인턴들의 e-포트폴리오를 대상으로 e-포트폴리오가 기존 포트폴리오와 다른 구성적 특징은 무엇인지, IT 기업별로 포트폴리오 구성에 있어 어떤 차이가 있는지를 살펴보았다. 이를 위해 첫 번째로 e-포트폴리오의 공통적인 구성 항목을 조사하였고, 그 결과 e-포트폴리오는 프로젝트 개요, 디자인 프로세스, 더보기의 세 가지 항목으로 구성되었음을 알 수 있었다. 그리고 이 세 가지 항목 중 두 번째 항목인 디자인 프로세스는 1단계 조사와 분석, 2단계 전략 수립, 3단계 프로토타이핑과 최종디자인, 4단계 발표, 평가, 개선의 4단계로 정리할 수 있었다. 두 번째로 e-포트폴리오에 소개된 모든 디자인 방법들을 키워드로 요약하고 그 키워드들을 앞서 3개의 구성 항목과 4단계의 디자인 프로세스를 기준으로 분류하였다. 마지막으로 e-포트폴리오에 소개된 각 항목과 단계에 해당하는 키워드들의 개수를 세어 포트폴리오 전체에서 차지하는 비중을 파악하였다. 이를 통해 IT 기업에 따라 그리고 인턴들의 전공에 따라 e-포트폴리오의 구성 항목과 디자인 단계를 다루는 비중이 다르다는 것을 확인하였는데, 특히 IT 기업 인턴들의 포트폴리오에는 전략수립 단계가 가장 많이 다루어졌고, 관련 링크를 연결하는 '연결성' 특성이 적극적으로 활용되었음을 알 수 있었다.

우수한 초등교사의 양성은 우수한 예비교사 교육을 통하여 성취될 수 있다. 양질의 교육은 교수자와 학습자의 다양한 상호작용과 학습자의 적극적인 참여를 통하여 실현 가능하다. 본 연구는 사회적 개인적 요구를 반영하고, 대학 강의의 질을 개선하기 위하여 컴퓨터 교과교육에서 웹기반 문제중심학습과 e-포트폴리오를 통합 적용하고 그 효과를 확인하고자 하였다. 학습자들(N = 105)은 6회에 걸쳐 문제중심학습을 수행하고, 동시에 그 학습과정을 블로그를 이용하여 e-포트폴리오를 작성하며, 학습 과정과 결과에 관한 경험 및 반성을 반성저널에 작성하였다. 학습자들의 반성저널은 질적 분석 방법을 통하여 분석하였으며 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 학습자들은 웹기반 문제중심학습과 e-포트폴리오의 적용을 통하여 컴퓨터교과교육에 대한 이해의 증진, 잠재적으로 ICT 활용 능력의 향상, ICT를 기반으로 한 학습자 중심의 교수-학습 전략의 습득, 그리고 수행평가로써의 e-포트폴리오 경험을 통해 미래의 교사에게 필요한 역량을 향상시킬 수 있었다.
