A Study on the Factors Affecting E-logistics Systems in the Chinese Logistics Industry

  • With the rapid growth of e-logistics in the global logistics industry, it is important to gain further insight into this growing segment of Chinese logistics industry. The current situation in China consists of many small and medium-sized logistics firms. Furthermore, e-logistics is still relatively undeveloped in the majority of the Chinese logistics companies and presently there are still many problems unresolved. This paper attempted to review the concepts and theoretical background of e-logistics systems from previous studies. After acknowledging the essential issues related to e-logistics systems, a research model based on the theory acceptance model was designed and tested. The key factors to the e-logistics system (reliability, maintainability, software, facility and transportation) were validated through the modeling and testing process. Included in the modelling and testing process are other related factors of e-logistics process, logistics information system and added value as dependent variables in this model. The results of this study confirm that the e-logistics Process is affected by transportation, while maintainability and software factors influence logistics information system. reliability, maintainability, facility and transportation are significant factors associated with added value. This research aimed to provide theoretical and practical contribution to Chinese logistics companies and to give some insights into e-logistics system as a whole. The paper also provided some useful theoretical implication and practical guidelines for the development of e-logistics system in the chinese logistics industry.

E-logistics에 대한 국내 연구동향 및 체계분석 (A Structured Review on Research Trend in the E-logistics Research in Korean Journals)

  • 본 논문은 지난 15년간 이루어졌던 e-logistics 분야의 연구동향 및 체계에 관하여 살펴보고 향후 연구방향 제시를 연구목적으로 하였다. 통상정보연구, e-비즈니스연구, 전자무역연구, 인터넷전자상거래연구, 물류학회지의 학술지에서 e-logistics와 관련된 논문을 연구대상으로 하였으며, 연구방법으로는 내용 분석법(content analysis)을 사용하였다. 우선 연구의 구분을 통한 분석으로 e-logistics의 경영과 관련하여 연구가 활발히 이루어 졌다는 것을 알 수 있었으며, 다른 학회지에 비해 "인터넷전자상거래연구"가 e-logistics와 관련하여 많은 연구가 진행되었다는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 연구성격의 구분 결과, 실증 연구가 전체 연구 중 과반수 이상을 차지한다는 것을 알 수 있었으며, 방법론은 설문지를 통한 자료분석과 설문분석이 다수 연구되고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 이러한 결과들은 연구가 이론적 접근이나 실증분석을 통한 연구가 대부분을 차지함으로써 정량적 분석이 주류를 이루고 정성적인 연구가 부족한 것으로 이해할 수 있다. 따라서 e-logistics에 관한 연구의 다양성을 위하여 연구 범위를 확장시키고 e-logistics의 중요성을 많은 연구자들에게 인식시킬 수 있는 연구가 많이 이루어 져야 할 것이다.

RFID를 활용하여 물류정보 처리를 위한 웹 서비스 기반의 연동 미들웨어 시스템 (The Cooperate Middleware System based on Web-Service for Logistics Information Process with Applies RFID)

RFID becomes the center of attention to solve them. However, RFID is not without any obstacles: companies have their own operating systems, while RFID is developed regardless of each company's special features. RFID middleware system based on web service is expected to remove these obstacles. This paper shows how to operate the middleware based on web service and to lay in the DB the tag informations taken from reader system. Middle assures that companies adopting RFID system for their logistic service are given adaptability to any systems whatsoever, available by way of defining logistic information, tag information and reader information. For this purpose, we implement as the basic web service a middleware system that turns all data into XML(eXtensible Markup Language) of SOAP (Simple Object Access Protocol), the standard data.

  • 물류 프로세스는 일반적인 비즈니스 프로세스와는 달리, 서로 이질적인 조직이 참여하여 프로세스를 진행한다는 특징을 보인다. 따라서 각 참여조직들 간의 상호작용을 제어하면서 프로세스를 수행하는 것이 필요하다. 프로세스의 실행이라는 측면에서 이를 제어하는 가장 좋은 대안으로 비즈니스 프로세스 관리(BPM) 시스템을 들 수 있으나, 참여조직 간의 프로세스 소유권과 접근 권한 관리 문제와 함께, 현재의 일반적인 상용 시스템들은 참여조직 간의 상호작용을 관리하기 위한 기능을 거의 제공하지 못한다는 문제점을 안고 있다. 또한 RFID 기술 기반의 물류 환경에서, RFID 이벤트의 적용과 처리를 지원하는 물류프로세스 관리에 대한 고려가 미흡한 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 물류 환경에서 발생하는 다조직 프로세스를 RFID 이벤트 기반의 통제를 위한 새로운 방법론을 제시하고자 한다. Interworkflow(워크플로우 간) 패턴으로 표현되는 참여조직들 간의 프로세스 자동 트리거링(Auto-Triggering)을 위하여 ECA(Event-Condition-Action) 규칙에 복합이벤트(Complex Event)를 활용한 RFID 이벤트 기반의 RFID-based ECA 규칙을 제공한다.

  • We employ the methods of Lattice Dynamical System to establish a global model extending the Walrasian evolutionary cobweb model in an independent single local market to the global market evolution over an infinite chain of many local markets with interaction of each other through a diffusion of prices between them. For brevity of the model, we assume linear decreasing demands and logistic supplies with naive predictors, and investigate the traveling wave behaviors of global price dynamics and show that their dynamics are conjugate to those of H$\acute{e}$non maps and hence can exhibit complicated behaviors such as period-doubling bifurcations, chaos, and homoclic orbits etc.

  • 세계시장은 글로벌(Global)기업의 등장과 함께 국가 간 경계를 약화시켰으며, 제품의 설계, 마케팅 활동은 현지시장 위주, R&D 활동은 지식활동이 활발한 지역 단순 제품의 조립 제조는 저임금 지역으로 분산되고 있다. 이는 생산거점과 판매거점을 연결하는 네트워크(Network) 구성의 중요성이 대두되고 있다는 반증이다. 90년대 초부터는 다품종 소량생산, 고급화 및 소비자의 생산 프로세스 참여를 통한 수요창출 등 소비자 중심의 시장으로 다변화하고 있다. 이는 물류 체계에 있어 기술적 변화 요구에 적절히 대응하는 현상으로, 이를 증명하는 것이 e-비즈니스 등장과 이를 지원하는 부가가치 통신망(VAN: Value added Network) 전자문서교환(EDI : Electronic Data Interchange) 등이다. 본 연구에서는 국내외 육상, 해상 항공물류 시스템에 관한 문헌 연구를 통하여 각 시스템에 대한 실용분석을 시도하였으며, 한편으로 국내 항공사의 모델을 기초하여 항공사 물류시스템의 향후 개선 및 발전 방향을 제시하였다.
