  • This study focuses on the policy priorities for training agro-healing experts. Training agro-healing experts is an important task that should boost local community in rural areas. In order to make an efficient decision making, the study analyses priority of relevant policies using the AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process) method. According to the results, R&D comes out first. Human Resource Development(HRD), financial support, and the construction of legal system comes after R&D. In R&D, qualifications and guidelines for participants comes out the most significant issue. In the aspect of HRD, it is very important to develop and utilize regional personnel such as unemployed youth and retirees from related fields. As for financial support, funding for educational facilities (i.e. classrooms and farmland for practice) is needed. In case of legal system, it is desirable to introduce the recruiting experts system and qualification system certified by government.

  • The thesis examines the problems for innovation of export and import conditions and shows the various ways of overcoming them. The alternatives of export and import conditions are as follows. First, the government body including customs service should participate on positive lines for the construction of single window and standardization of the required documents. Second, it is required the development of efficient connection system among exporter and importer, customs service, requirement confirmation agency etc. to contribute the simplification of a operation. Therefore this research is intended to improve understanding of changes for innovation and to contribute in support basis, operation structure, legal and institutional side. Practical implications regarding the innovation of export and import conditions for electronic trade are discussed.

  • As a result of the policy for enforcing the information technology led by government and the effort of companies to get over economic crisis through the reformation of business process, the ERP market is being active. However, because imported ERP products that are supplied currently are designed for standard and rationality, they have a limit to support custom processes of domestic companies in South Korea. On the contrary, ERP products by domestic companies in South Korea are unable to support a consistent methodology of constructing ERP system. This is main reason why much time and costs are consumed than that of an original plan. To succeed in ERP construction, the purpose of ERP setup must be defined. To accomplish this end, it is required to analysis business process completely and to make a plan in detail. For ERP providers, they must support a characterized ERP construction methodology and lower the construction cost by improving an ERP package easy to customize[5].

  • This paper aims to study the problem of combined harvesting of a system involving one predator and two prey species fishery in which the predator feeds more intensively on the more abundant species. Mathematical formulation of the optimal harvest policy is given and its solution is derived in the equiblibrium case by using Pontryagin's Maximum principle. Dynamic optimization of the harvest policy is also discussed by taking E(t), the combined harvest effort, as a dynamic variable. Biological and bioeconomic interpretations of the results associated with the optimal equilibirum solution are explained. The significance of the constraints required for the existence of an optimal singular control are also given.

  • This work is described as an early effort to study organic products marketing. Discusses the characteristics, barriers and vitalization strategies of developing new markets in an environment of increasing consumer awareness and marketability of organic products. Barriers to developing new markets for organic products include lack of basic information or poor understanding among farmers of sustainable techniques and practices, poor access to markets, high start-up costs, lack of understanding the developing market, uncertainty in marketing and pricing, consumer habits, inadequate financing, including resistance to paying premium prices, misinformation and misapprehension concerning the production of organic products. Recommends strategies for implementing sustainable systems, e.g., involve government agencies, educating and organizing both farmers, processors, and consumers developing marketing and distribution programs. Examines business strategies that have successfully targeted markets, such as advertising, labeling, public relations and communications, gaining consumer trust, partnerships, and diversifying operations.

  • The study compares network structures that emerged in three inter-organisational projects set up under the MSC Malaysia initiative by the Government of Malaysia. These consortia are seen as policy-driven inter-organisational networks and, with data collected through interviews; the links among the organisations are mapped to gain an understanding of the structures that emerged in these networks. The findings provide lessons for other emerging countries that are embarking on similar projects i.e. cluster-oriented developments with policy-driven inter-organisational networks. These findings are seen as particularly useful when emerging countries invest in technology-related projects and invite multinational companies to work together with local firms.

  • To promote the efficiency of production process of small and medium sized company, government conducts production information business that collects and analyzes information of production field automatically and helps process' controlling and supervising by supporting costs of purchase, installment, etc. of hard-software and network related to middle and small sized company intending e-Manufacturing of production field with computer and information & communication network. As a result, the number of middle and small sized companies that introduce and manage production information system is increased. Therefore, the purposes of this research are to arrange contents of production information system introduced to solve current problems of middle and small sized companies and analyze effects of small and middle sized companies' introduction through example companies.

  • According as Internet based EC(Electronic Commerce) has been activated, More requirements for exchanging digital documents are being proposed in B2B(Business to Business) and B2G(Business to Government) environments. However, the documents can not be processed automatically, because the structures of documents in each site(companies, central/local governments) do not match. Therefore, W3C(World Wide Web Consortium) has proposed XML(eXtensible Markup Language) DTD(Document Type Declaration) technology to support structuring documents. The XML DTD technology can support interoperability between EC sites. And, XML DTD based documents can be processed automatically in every sites. They will improve efficiency of services in B2B and B2G environments. In this paper, we propose interoperable DTD architecture and IDEP(Interoperable DTD Exchange Protocol) protocol which supports searching DTDs and exchanging DTDs. This technology can popularize DTDs and digital documents.

  • The purpose of the study is to develop an integrated knowledge structuring system for the domain of engineering, in which ontology-based literature mining, knowledge acquisition, knowledge integration, and knowledge retrieval are combined using XML-based tag information and ontology management. The system supports combining different types of databases (papers and patents, technologies and innovations) and retrieving different types of knowledge simultaneously. The main objective of the system is to facilitate knowledge acquisition and knowledge retrieval from documents through an ontology-based dynamic similarity calculation and a visualization of automatically structured knowledge. Through experimentations we conducted using 100,000 words economic documents reported in the "Go! Japan" project for analyzing Japanese industrial situation, and 100,000 words molecular biology Papers, we show the system is Practical enough for accelerating knowledge acquisition and knowledge discovery from the information sea.
