센싱기술을 이용한 효과적인 LMS 모델에 관한 연구 (A Effective LMS Model Using Sensing System)

  • 교육은 정보를 받아들이는 가장 큰 통로의 하나라 할 수 있다. 유비쿼터스 시대를 맞이하면서 새로운 교육기술과 환경이 요구되고 이에 따른 많은 기술이 등장하고있다. 현재의 e-learning 또한 많은 요구점들을 해결하기위해 많은 변화가 이루어질 필요가있다. 본 논문서는 언제 어디서나, 어떤 내용에 관계없이 학습할수있는 유비쿼터스환경의 e-learning 모델을 위하여 기존 e-learning 모델의 한계점을 분석하고, 유비쿼터스 네트워크망과 차세대 센서기술등을 적용하여 SCORM표준안을 기반으로한 LMS에 학습콘텐츠의 변환서비스와 협력 학습서비스기능을 추가한 유비쿼터스 환경에 대응하는 LMS모델을 제안하였다. 학습형태 변환서비스는 센서 기술에 의해서 학습자의 주변상황을 감지 하거나 신체상태를 파악하여 스마트 센서로 정보화하여 학습자에게 가장 적합한 형태로 콘텐츠를 서비스해준다. Orestia SOB등의 센싱기술의 접목은 보다 원활한 협력학습 서비스를 가능케 해줄것이다.

이러닝과 빅데이터의 융합 기반 스마트러닝 전략 (Smart Learning Strategies utilizing Convergence of e-Learning and Bigdata)

  • 본 연구는 선진국의 사례를 기반으로 이러닝과 빅데이터의 융합적 접근을 통한 이러닝의 고도화 대안으로서 스마트러닝의 전략적 시사점을 도출한다. 이를 위해 본 연구는 먼저 국내 이러닝 현황 및 해결 과제를 도출한 다음 해외 주요 선진기업과 대학들의 이러닝과 데이터과학의 융합 사례를 분석한다. 아울러 이러닝 기업의 임직원을 대상으로 빅데이터 적용에 관한 인식 조사를 실시한 다음 조사된 자료의 분석을 통해 산업 현장에서 실효성을 갖는 빅데이터 융합 기반 스마트러닝의 전략적 대안을 도출한다.

  • e-Learning 교육에서 사실상 표준으로 인정받고 있는 ADL에서 제안한 SCORM 2004는 IMS Simple Sequencing을 S&N으로 통합함으로써 학습코스웨어의 학습과정을 구성하는 학습 객체간의 상호 관계를 다양하게 설계, 적용할 수 있게 하였다. 본 논문에서는 SCORM 2004 S&N과 교통신호메타포를 통하여 학습활동을 경험적으로 안내할 수 있는 웹기반 적응형 학습관리를 구현하고자 한다. 이 적응형 학습관리를 통해, 교수자는 동일한 학습콘텐츠를 재사용해서 다양한 학습전략을 구현한 학습코스웨어를 설계할 수 있고, 학습자는 학습상태와 평가를 실시간으로 제공받아 적응적 학습을 안내받을 수 있다.

  • Nowadays, demand for human resource for the e-learning industry is rapidly increasing along with the expansion of e-learning market capacity. However, there arc numerous difficulties in expansion and industrialization of e-learning due to insufficient supply of human resources to meet the demand. Therefore, the goal of this study is to present various policy measures that can supplement the supply of e-learn ing manpower. Overall contents of this study focus on presenting the long-term directions for fostering of human resources for e-learning industry. Among these, role of government policies for fostering of human resources for e-learning industry is being particularly emphasized because e-learning industry is still at its infant stage.

  • The benefits of an e-learning system will not be maximized unless learners use the system. This study proposed and tested models that seek to explain students' satisfaction withe-learning systems. A survey was performed at a women's college in Korea, where students experimentally could choose to register one same course either through e-learning or class-room learning. The questionnaire was filled up by students who took e-learning option. independent variables include expected benefits, familiarity with technology, social influence, and accessibility. Dependent variables include the level of satisfaction, academic achievement, and the amount of the use of systems.

지역 대학 e-Learning 센터의 전략적 역할분석에 관한 연구 (An Empirical Assessment of the Strategic Roles of e-Learning Center in the Community of Local Universities)

  • Today, many universities are confronted with the changing education paradigm such as e-learning, Distance Education, Virtual University, This IT-based teaming paradigm shift is certainly a new opportunity or a threat to our universities. To overcome this problem the universities should think e-Learning as strategic weapon, such as many firms created competitive weapons from the information systems at the 1980s. So, e-Learning system can be a SIS(Strategic Information System) which supports university's future education strategies. To build a e-Learning system, not only many H/W and S/W resources but also expert personnels are required. An organization such as local university who is week at financial status can't himself plan the system. The Local University Community e-Learning Centers that support the demand of e-learning for their community are recommended. In order to operate these centers efficiently, the strategic roles of the e-Learning center should first be defined. To define the strategic roles, We classified the strategic roles of the e-Learning center into four dimensions, (1) to improve management efficiency, (2) to enhance educational service, (3) to acquire competitive advantages, (4) to build new education infrastructure, and each dimension has 5 or 6 measurement items. As result, to enhance the educational service was considered as the most significant factor among the four dimensions of strategic roles, and the infrastructure building was the next. We also tried to find the difference for each factor by the characteristics of responsor. The data showed that there was litter difference between the groups in evaluating the significance of strategic roles of e-learning centers. Through the strategic roles definition and analysis of expected role ratings, we could have recommended the direction and operation policies of the e-Loaming centers.

성과 창출 과정으로서의 e-러닝 교수설계 모형 (Investigation for an e-Learning Instructional Design Model for Business Performance)

  • The purpose of the study is to develop and validate an instructional design model from the perspective of the knowledge creation. To serve the purpose, the researcher conducted 1) literature review to find causal relationship model among knowledge creation factors and to propose a hypothetical instructional design model, 2) data analysis with 50 senior level e-Learning instructional designers, and 3) testing the fitness of the proposed model and relevant causal-relational hypotheses. Results indicate; 1) the proposed model fit to the empirical evidence, 2) 6 hypotheses among 11 were validated. A typical instructional designer's personal competency was evidenced as the most powerful independent variable that predicted knowledge acquisition, knowledge sharing, and the application of the instructional models. However, the expected effect of instructional design models toward other dependent variable was not be found. In addition, further suggestions for the future research are addressed.

이러닝 품질관리사의 자격 검정 체제 개발 (Development of an Examination System for a e-Learning Quality Manager's Certificate)

  • The purpose of this study is to develop an examination system for an e-learning quality manager's certificate which is composed of subjects, criteria, method of examination. The task model of e-learning quality manager was modify and task/knowledge/skill matrix was developed to design the examination system through conferences of DACUM committee and an advisory committee. And a survey was carry out to analyze validity of contents of the examination system. The major findings were as the follow: First, occupational specification, job specification, task specification and task/knowledge/skill matrix were developed. Second, examination subjects were developed based on task/knowledge/skill matrix, which were "Basis of e-Learning and plan of service", "Expulsion and management of e-learning infrastructure", "Development of e-learning contents", "Operation and evaluation of e-learning service". Third, the criteria and methods of examination for an e-learning quality manager's certificate were developed, which is composed of test type, the sum of test items, test time and acceptable standards.

지식경영 시스템을 활용한 신규간호사 e-Learning 프로그램 개발 및 평가 (The Development and Evaluation of an e-Learning Program for Novice Nurses before Beginning to Work in a Hospital Using KMS(Knowledge Management System))

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop and evaluate an e-Learning Program designed to enhance novice nurses's performance ability Method: The e-Learning program was designed for novice nurses before beginning to work in a hospital using a KMS(Knowledge Management System). This study was carried out from February 2006 to April 2007. The program had progressive steps including design, pilot test & modification, contents development, program application and evaluation. After the program design and pilot testing, the learner's satisfaction was analyzed. Result: The program site is http://kms.emc.ac.kr titled, 'Cyber Education Center'. The sixteen part course has been developed as follows: blood sugar test, skin test, insulin test 1, insulin test 2, blood culture, blood sampling, heat therapy, cold therapy, glycerin enema, preparation of operation, oxygen therapy, suction technique, transfusion, foley catheterization and aseptic technique. The overall learner's satisfaction score was 4.08 out of 5 points. Conclusion: E-Learning could be useful for education and nursing work. This method may be effective for clinical nurses.

이러닝시스템의 매체풍부성, 매체유용성, 매체경험이 학습자 만족에 미치는 영향 (The Impacts of Media Richness, Media Usefulness, and Media Experience on the Leaner's Satisfaction with e-Learning Systems)

  • In an effort to apply IT to practices of learning, universities are trying to implement e-Learning systems and expanding the extent of their usage. Nowadays, e-Learning systems are not only used for conducting web-based distance learning, but also used for supporting traditional classes education by encouraging communication and information sharing between instructors and learners or among the learners. There is relatively lack of studies on the exploitation of e-Learning systems in the traditional classes, in comparison with a distance education. Specifically, howe-Learning systems could support the traditional class and/or which benefits e-Learning systems could offer in the classes are among the important issues. In this study, we suggest that e-Learning systems would be the rich media to communicate and exchange information among people who participate in a class. We derive key variables like media richness and media experience from Media Richness Theory and from Channel Expansion Theory. Moreover, Media usefulness and Satisfaction of a learner with e-Learning system is drawn from the literature on IS success. We examine the effects of perceived media richness, media usefulness, and media experience on leaner's satisfaction with e-Learning systems. In addition, we also investigate learner's media usefulness perception which is positively related to media richness and media experience. Finally, learner's experience with e-Learning systems affects perceived media richness. Based on the results of an empirical test. we first suggest that perceived media richness with e-Learning systems contributes to increase media usefulness and satisfaction of a learner. Second, media experience is an important predictor of media richness and media usefulness perception. Consequently, the result can support Channel Expansion Theory. Finally, media usefulness perception affects learner's satisfaction with e-Learning systems.
